First off. The name Vanille Framboise from Les Senteurs Gourmands suggests it’s a gourmand scent. It’s not. It’s not “edible” at all. I can’t detect the vanilla for the life of me. Which would be fine if the raspberry scent was prominent. It’s not. What I smell is a watery raspberry vinaigrette x old lady perfume. If raspberry wasn’t in the name I wouldn’t know it was in there. It’s fresh, but too oldish to appreciate it in my book. It’s a big bottle of no. Edit: if you let it sit for a couple of weeks the notes become more prominent and not blended together, and I mean the raspberry and the water. I can’t detect vanilla for the life of me. Again: it’s still NOT a gourmand. It’s almost floral and tangy. Not in a fresh raspberry way.

It is so fresh,fruity, delicate and watery as if you were in a forest in spring- summer after a downpour when everything is clean and cold and full of the power of nature. I really love it even if the longevity is weak and the sillage moderate.
