Bohemian Absinthe

So surprised nobody has written about the similarities to Byredo De Los Santos. The notes are ostensibly different but the vibe is remarkably similar. Sage (De Los Santos) and eucalyptus (Bohemian Absinthe) can give off the same cool, green blast and the kumquat apparently doesn't fall far from the mirabelle... Very pleasant, interesting scent, morphing from the more intense first hour and mellowing into a nice hum towards the end of the day. I get no leather, which is a plus in my book. Bohemian Absinthe is more cosy than raunchy, I don't associate it with Fin de Siècle nightlife debauchery, but something rather more wholesome and daytime friendly. I got this as a random sample and didn't expect much. Now I'm pondering buying a bottle - but perhaps I should pace myself since I already own its Byredo sibling. Sniff it if you can!

on me this smells very minty in the best way possible but definitely not a toothpaste kinda minty that i usually get from other fragrances. this one is simply stunning. lasts about 8 hours on my skin and 12+ on my clothes. it's definitely on the higher price range but worth the purchase in my opinion. 100% unisex to my nose

Unique but inoffensive. Bitter and fresh, it has a sweetness but in the way of almond/almond blossom (reminds me of the weleda body lotion w that scent). Smoky in a very light way. Very adaptable fragrance, definitely more of a signature scent than an occasion scent imo. Def get a cantalope-y opening.

Very similar to Santal 33, but juicier at the beginning and more iridescence of notes + a clear leather nuance. In the base there is a thin vetiver, suede, a little smoke. Longevity is not bad and there is diffuseness. Unisex to my nose.
