While majority of cherry fragrances smells extremely similar to Lost Cherry, this one doesn't. It's cheery blossom and violet dominant cherry. It's powdery, floral, and some tea scents in it (like Cherry Blossom by Guerlain). It's not really extraordinary and doesn't smells expensive very much. Nevertheless, it's still cozy and elegant without naughty cherry vibes like majority of other obnoxious cherry fragrances.

Opening smells like marzipan, must be the pistachio/violet combo. Cherries and floral notes follow suit. It's all super cozy, and pleasant and has lots of mainstream appeal. Inoffensive, office-friendly, low stakes first date. A well-rounded fragrance for sure, I really enjoy it. However, I feel it's overpriced.

sample 02/24 The first few minutes are a blast of nostalgic cherry (or dark red) flavored sweets. They aren’t here to stay. The scent turns light and floral afterwards. Fun and wearable, although not for me. A little boring maybe. But girly and inoffensively so.

I got a sample of this in my advent calendar. I love cherry scents, but this one is different from the well-known combinations like cherry-leather (suede) or cherry-alcohol. It opens with a burst of frozen cherry chewing gum from my childhood! But it fades quickly, and the floral notes come forward. For a moment I felt a similarity between this and Wonderland Peony, perhaps because they are both Jerome Epinette’s creations. However, that impression also disappears fast. After about 1.5-2 hours, I can still smell something powdery-floral on my arm (violets?), but there’s no cherry left for me. It’s absolutely inoffensive and sits close to the skin (don’t expect head-turning sillage). I couldn’t assign it to any specific season, but it might be too light for autumn/winter.

I’m not a fan of cherry scents and thankfully this is not like Lost Cherry which I hate. This opens with a sweet cherry with some nuttiness and warmth, this then dissipates quickly to a generic sweet fragrance - wearable & mass appealing. Not for me. IG/Tiktok: @wilddew_vibes
