Jardin de Macarons

This is my first testing from this brand. The bottles looks so wonderfull and my expectations where high. I must say im a bit underwelmed by it. Its allright, sweet but wear one dimentional. Not much development on skin. Pretty sweet plum and cotton candy with some orris and slight touch of violet. The Orris do make this slightly more interesting, i did not expect that to shine like it does, grounding it with a little touch of palo Santo and patchoulie. Not sure if i pick up much of the blaccurrant leaf, maybe a bit but its well mixed with plum wich too me together with orris is the most prominent notes. Initialy i found it a bit too girly. But infact its a grown up slight gourmand, No heavynes in this, perhaps that would have made it abit more interesting. Stays moderatly strong on skin. Offending nobody. Nice enough but there is more interesting Fragrances especialy for this kind of price

This one is somewhere between like and love, for mine... The violet is delicious, bountiful and UTTERLY divine, and the orris root is (a bit) overshadowed here by it. The plum adds some great fruity sweetness, and all three really tie in together seamlessly... Cassis leaf does tend to add a slight bitter-metallic element to scents (for my nose, anyway), and I feel it adds the right amount of 'base' to really make this scent work. Actually, having typed all this out, I'm inclined to say 'yes', but I'll need a bit more time with it, I feel...

Macarons has been on my ‘to buy’ list for a while now, but I wore it today mostly because I wanted to be 101% sure. Equal parts iris, violet and plum, and I just LOVE IT. I will be buying this in the near future, that much is certain, but part of my worries a little that it is a little too close to Misia and possibly another (forget which), but, that plum makes it worth purchasing. I know it’s a little girliefemme, but you know, who cares? I really dig it, and I can’t wait to actually OWN it, you know. Yes. HELL YES.

Opening fruity notes are fresh and energising, though very artificial. Within seconds the smell transforms and gets very dry and chalky. Some vanilla-like notes can be felt through the chalkiness. At first the artificiality and chalkiness pushed me away and I was sure I won't like it. Once all of these initial notes calm down, you're left with a very soft, powdery, "pillowy", sweet scent. The cotton candy is very well balanced, adding muted sweetness that does not make it overly gourmand or juvenile. It is pleasant, holds well on the skin. Makes me think of pastel colors, elegant family gatherings, and nice quality bed sheets. Very safe smell that won't offend anyone. I might pick up a bottle one day but the full price is too high for what it offers.

I rarely leave reviews, but YOU ALL MUST BE WARNED. This is...not good. It smells like a cheap body spray mixed with that sour BO that you get when a certain fabric doesn't work well with your body chemistry. I'm glad I only got a decant. No thank you!

For a perfume that has some of my favourite sweet ingredients this is f****** horrible

This is love from first sniff, there is no one ever smelled this scent and be like wow what is that is amazing 💗
