I Dare You

I thought Resist Me was sexy enough, but this is steaming hot! It makes me imagine rolling out of bed, snuggling up in my boyfriend's sweater and smelling traces of his cologne on it after he's gone to work. I only wish I had a boyfriend who smelled like this! I notice only trace amounts of oud and leather. They are rather tame, which is not what you might expect from those notes, but it works out beautifully with the dark, oriental amber. I love the spice in this perfume. I think there is nutmeg in it, which sort of reminds me of Pink Nanadebary. I Dare You is Pink's naughty, sexy cousin. It's just a gorgeous perfume, a bottle of which I must own.

This is a dare that works in your favor as long as you understand that this is NOT a leather fragrance. As the spices assault my nose, Eau de Tommi Sooni I immediately comes to mind. The spicy aroma is met with a cacophony of amber, patchouli, and sandlewood. Although spicy, the blend is very pleasant with layers of woody undertones. The oud is slightly damp as it establishes itself to be one of the main pillars here. The finish is smooth and rounds out with a balanced coffee drydown. I don't throw this phrase around too often but this is blind buy worthy.

Well. I never laughed after trying a perfume before. To use a euphemism, it smelled like a Jimmy Buffett concert. I thought the name is quite cheeky (as its not something you'd want to apply in your car or anywhere near a uniformed officer). But eventually the parrots did fly away, and I'm left with a gorgeous warm, buttery, spicy drydown. I do also get a leather note, but it's subjugated by sweetness.

I just got it and it is unbelievable how many compliments my friends gave me! Love love loooove it!!
