Field & Flowers

I got this in my Margot Elena subscription box. I really love it. The entire presentation of it is so lovely, just like everything from Margot Elena. Is it a groundbreaking perfume? No. But for what it is, it is very nice. I think it smells kind if along the lines of the 90s perfumes that were very floral and not much else. Like a Jessica McClintock or something. Sometimes, I am in the mood for something girly, and pretty. This fits that mood perfectly.

I have a bar soap with this scent, and it smells exactly like lilacs! I'm not sure whether the scent is exactly the same in a spray perfume form though, maybe this is just how it translates in the bar soap. Update: in the shower the soap has literally no scent at all... Quite a disappointment for an expensive fragranced soap.

Field & Flowers is a non-specific floral fragrance. It almost smells like the *idea* of flowers, as opposed to an actual field of flowers. Pretty, light, a little sweet, and a little powdery. I find it inoffensive, but unremarkable. The apricot is missing entirely.

Field & Flowers is a very warm floral. The honey note is not really perceptible but its effects are. The whole composition felt a little bit stifling to me. Like wearing too warm clothes on a hot and sunny day.

was reco. this by a small tiktoker and i thought the packaging was too pretty not to buy! it’s so funny bc i was really curious to see how this smelled - and it smelled almost 100% familiar to my nose, which was only slightly disappointing. this smells like an early 2000’s victoria’s secret pear glace lotion. it may be exact but i don’t have it to compare. it’s a watery jasmine and pear scent. maybe a cucumber or aloe scent in there. i don’t smell apricot. maybe some honey sweetness but it’s hard to tell. perfect for after the shower. very similar to Ocean by Armani but has that early 2000’s beauty product scent to it. i think any age can wear this! won’t repurchase as it reminds me too much of Ocean and i prefer that but i’m definitely going to wear this over this spring-summer season

This summer, I was given a perfume sampler of three Library of Flowers scents by my friend. A group of friends all gathered in Maui for her wedding. Yes, life can be charmed at times and I'll forever cherish that week-long adventure. Of the three scents in the copper-colored Library of Flowers gift tin, Field&Flowers was my favorite and quite appropriate for the setting. The scent blended perfectly with my SunBum sunscreen (very fabulous coconut smell) and didn't detract from all the beautiful floral smells in Hawaii. I honestly can't detect any particular flowers in this. TeaandRoses is correct, it is non-specific and unremarkable, but was actually quite perfect for the occasion.

"Wildflowers" as a note could really be anything but let me tell you what it conjures up for me. Back in the 90s I had Maybelline Shine Free foundation that I would use and set with Cover Girl pressed powder. This smells a lot like both of those cosmetics together. It's a fresh slightly powdery nondescript floral, very creamy and feminine. If you like the smell of those makeup items I listed, you'll really dig this one. I will say, the sprayer on my bottle broke for no discernible reason. I was forced to pull the entire top apart with a pliers and transfer the liquid into a spray bottle. So that sucked.
