WOW. 💜✨ This transforms into something so beautiful and so addictive. The almond really starts to come forward — soft, slightly sweet, and incredibly comforting. Not sharp, not overly nutty — more like a creamy, almost airy almond that blends seamlessly into the skin. Then the tonka and rice notes start to wrap around it, creating this smooth, cozy, almost cloud-like texture. There’s something about it that feels warm and familiar but still unique. The quince adds a subtle brightness in the background, and there’s just the tiniest touch of pink pepper that gives it a soft lift so it never feels flat. But what really stands out is the feeling of this fragrance. On my skin it smells like: ✨ soft almond sweetness ✨ warm, creamy comfort ✨ airy, skin-like softness It’s intimate, but addictive. The kind of scent where you keep going back to your wrist over and over because you can’t quite stop thinking about it. This is not a loud fragrance. Out of the three Liis scents I've smelled so far which include this one, Floating and Studied, this is definitely my favourite! This fragrance is buttery but not in a butter popcorn scented candle way — instead it's well balanced with the other notes of almond and rice paper (which is what Fragrantica meant with the notes of rice and paper) but I am a bit shocked to see there's notes of incense and pink pepper here as I do not smell any spice in here! Possibly smelled it in the opening as it smelled heavier then but the gourmand smell in here is very consistent which I love! Quite strong aswell which I'm surprised with as the other two Liis fragrances I've smelled are very clearly skin scents. I would not recommend this for the summer due to this butter note (which isn't an official note but me and others smell it) but rather it's a scent for winter so if you're looking for a scent this Christmas, I'd go for this one and when I use up some of my fragrances next year, I'll be buying thism Strictly feminine in my opinion aswell I may add if you were wondering

I have a sample I am commenting on. Lovely rice note, great almond touch and not too sweet. I feel the projecting and longevity are quite good. Initially, the opening reminded me of Cheiriosa 62 and I was pleased because that fragrance is very crowd friendly, and I used to get a ton of compliments on that fragrance. I have been looking for a fragrance that in eau de parfum form, comes close to it. I like just as much. The burst of quince reminded me of the opening of Pas Ce Soir, and it is very similar and familiar. As it went to dry down, the rice note came out more, and I was in love! So comforting, and there is something romantic and soft about it without it going weak on me. I think this could be someone's signature also, because the florals keep it grounded and interesting. I really good find. All season, on anyone and just beautiful.

Was obsessing over this scent based on the notes for a few weeks. My husband ended up getting it for me over Christmas break. It is very similar to how I imagined it would be - it’s perhaps a bit sweeter than I expected. It is LOVELY. Doesn’t last crazy long, maybe 2-3 hours and then I can’t detect it. But I am happy to reapply. Reminds me of a woman in a cashmere sweater stepping into a warm patisserie, very sweet almond forward and then ends up being sweet round and powdery. It’s only fruity in the beginning and then it’s a most sophisticated gourmand. Smells expensive (it is! For me) this is my first fragrantica review so hopefully I improve at my descriptions lol

I was not expecting to like this as much I do! To me, it feels like sitting in front a steaming bowl of buttery white rice with a pinch of sugar and reading a well loved paperback novel. There is also something sort of bread like here (?) that I really enjoy. I thought the pink pepper would put me off because it’s a note I often struggle with, but this pulls it off beautifully. It’s not overbearing at all. Everything dances together so harmoniously. It’s a little sweet but also a little starchy and a little savory. Very interesting, warm, cozy fragrance. I’m obsessed.

I am so in love with this fragrance. initially it is a bit dry and starchy, plain white rice and chopped raw almond. however, as it sits on the skin, a very light, fluffy sweetness begins to develop. as the sweetness develops, I get a hint of florals peeking through. as someone who is not often a floral fan, I think the floral notes add depth and prevent this scent from being cloying. I do understand the comparison to SDJ 62, but I feel like this is SDJ in 10 years after she gains some life experience and matures. absolutely purchasing at least a travel-size decent!

Super satisfying almond pastry scent... with just a hint of baking spices, perfect for cooler weather in the evening imo. The incense note is suuuuper faint, but adds just a hint of smokiness to this primarily sweet and starchy composition. It is a bit amaretto/cherry-leaning, but less so than most of the other almond frags I have tried. Celestial Object has solid projection and lasting power, but nothing overbearing. She's like a freshly-baked almond croissant paired with a steaming chai. Dreamy, perfect bedtime scent.

I was so disappointed when the starchy rice note DNA in d'Annam's White Rice didn't work with my skin chemistry the way I wanted it to but Celestial Object really accomplishes what I was hoping for in that one! Still waiting over the next few hours to see how its longevity will be but so far it has had surprisingly moderate sillage. I feel like I'm in a nice little fluffy cloud of sweet rice milk and blanket. I can see myself being so cozy with this in the Fall and Winter. This would also make a great bedtime scent!!

I am not a fragrance expert, I just know this smells absolutely incredible. After getting the discovery set I knew this was the scent I would end up choosing immediately after spraying it for the first time. It is tangy at first sniff, then you start to smell the sweeter notes. It’s one of those scents that is inoffensive. I have two little girls that complain of some scents being too much and this is not one of them. It smells truly dreamy and makes me happy each time I wear it!

At first test/sample, my reaction was, "oh hell no." The quince/pepper created a sour and tangy immediate opening that wasn't to my taste. But...then came the dry down. Creamy, smooth, soothing, lovely. The quince sticks around long enough to perk up the rice, paper, and almond notes, but hours into the scent the notes have melded into a beautiful soft cushion around me. I absolutely love this -- bought the full bottle and have already made a good dent in it. Really lovely.

This is one of my favorite bedtime scents. I don't wear this much other than at home to feel comforted after a long day. I have several gourmand fragrances that I rarely reach for in warm weather, I love that this less sweet and more of a neo-gourmand. It’s more interesting to me with the laconic almond and rice starchiness than the typical sweet vanilla or marshmallow. It lasts forever on my skin and P.j.s. My top 2 from Liis with Studied.

this is sooo yummy to me. the rice note at the beginning was so great i wish it lasted longer. as a whole, celestial object is creamy, sweet, a little bit fruity, and a little bit smoky (after about an hour the incense note emerged for me). this does smell a bit like a cheap coconut vanilla body lotion i used to have but im not mad at it; i think the rice in the opening and the incense in the end stops it from being super sweet and basic.

To me this is very rice forward. Last the longest for Liis fragrance. I think it’s one of the best rice scent. It’s pretty strong and sweet. I’m really contemplating getting a fb but Liis is sooooo expensive for what it is. It’s something new and unique that I don’t have in my collection but I’m still deciding. Overall I really like it a lot. Good for colder weather under blanket kinda vibe.

This is a delicate, ethereal, melancholy fragrance that I absolutely adore. The opening punches you with almond, but once that fades, you’re left with the powdery scent of rice, almond, and tonka bean, with a faint ghost of incense. It’s starchy, sweet, cozy, and a little winsome in the best possible way. On my skin, I don’t get any plasticky/play-doughy notes.

This is amazing. I was a little taken aback at first because I've never smelled anything like it. I'm diving into rice perfumes so it's like the first rice one I've smelled. If you already own this, go buy Cozy & Creamy from B&BW and layer them together. I love this so much, it smells like a warm hug and the toasted almond makes it a sweeter rice perfume. 9/10

The rice note gives this a slight pandan aroma. SE Asians, ya'll know what I'm talkin about. Jasmine and basmati rice contain the same chemical compound found in pandan that give them that fragrant sweet aroma. This one is lovely! P/S: If you have an issue with the quince note, this one is not for you.

I love this perfume! Not too sickly sweet. On my skin it reads a bit starchy in a great way. It’s sweet, I can definitely smell the almond and a touch of incense. I love a perfume that’s not too much and this is it!

Not what I expected at all. I might be the only one who gets Sorce Snow Moon Magic. Although they don’t really share any notes. It’s crazy. I do like it! A little overpriced as Liis tends to be.

I've heard so many good reviews on this one so I purchased a sample. The opening is incredibly sweet. It smells like marzipan and rice pudding. Unexpected profile for Liis but quite interesting! I found it being a little too sweet and gourmand to my liking the first hour but once it started to settle, I couldn't stop sniffing my wrist as it turns into more subtle sweet skin like scent? I swear I could smell some musk or ambroxan, and my friend said she picks up something similar to JHG Not a Perfume (which I wear and love a lot). Maybe it's that "paper" note? I remember travelling to Stockholm as a kid with my family around Christmas time, and there was a marzipan shop we used to go to. The opening smelled like walking into that store. Sugary, almondy and starchy. The dry down smells more like an almond body lotion as it becomes a bit more subtle and clean. I'd love to have it in my collection but the price point is a bit too high for its longevity and projection even though I love Liis DNA. I feel like I need to spend more time with the sample but it's definitely a delightful release!

This is sweeter and more (ambery-)gourmand leaning than I had originally anticipated, yet somehow it smells exactly like the notes say, which I feel is pretty uncommon. It's on the stronger side for Liis, but isn't pungent. Longevity is a minimum of 6 hours for me. This opens with peppery quince and a distinct and starchy rice note. Unfortunately the rice doesn't stick around long, and the scent settles into a slightly-acidic sweet amber that gives a hint of biscuit. It's pleasant enough, but I don't expect to enjoy the sample enough to FS. I appreciate that this is a kind of a new category for Liis, despite their first gourmand launch earlier in the year. This very much feels like a fall- to winter- counterpart for Choux Choux, which leans more toward spring and summer. I think if you enjoy scents like Messy Sexy Just Rolled Out of Bed, this may be up your alley as something just a little weirder. To me, this is only slightly feminine leaning due to how sweet it is, not in its character otherwise.

I like this! I had a summer job at a decor boutique and we had lots of Liis products. I remember going back and forth on whether or not I should blow half a paycheck on a bottle of Floating (I never did, I still want it lol). So I had pretty high expectations for the brand. Initially when I first sprayed this, it was a lot creamier and muskier than I was anticipating, so I was a little bummed. However, as it's settled down in the past half hour, I've come to really really like it! I don't think I'd buy a full bottle any time soon but out of the four I sampled (Jade Vines, Calico, Mooncake, Celestial Object) I think this was my favorite! It's very soft on the dry down which I like. I really like subtle scents and can find strong ones give me headaches. Considering the price point though, I do think this is something that does probably need to last longer.

A voluptuous vanilla-almond confection, with a side of rice. Top accord for me is this snow-white, waxy vanilla candle. It hovers above a thick layer of amaretto, which might be borrowed from Of True Minds. However, this is far more warm and treacly. Think Byredo Bibliotheque, but gone gourmand. I am such a hype girl for the new rice wave sweeping perfumery, and the starch plays beautifully here, gentling the potency of the almond. It’s a cozy scent, but not quiet about it. Found it also shares OTM’s longevity, lasting a full workday on skin and well over a weekend on my clothes. Mental Snapshots: Being hugged by Mariah Carey in a fluffy bathrobe. This smells like tangyuan if you ever had some before. It's a sweet chewy chinese sticky rice dessert that sometimes has chopped nut fillings. Rice and almond - basically encapsulates that. This is a very not sweet rice dominant gourmand! Very unique and reminds me of a more floral more almondy White Rice by d'Annam. This is very much a warm cozy cold season scent, but because it's not cloying sweet, I can see it work in any season. This is actually one of those gourmands that stay consistent throughout the dry down. None of the notes really disappear. The almond is weakened over time but the rice and floral balance stays consistent.

Celestial Object sits in the same almond-forward territory as Chemin d’Amande, sharing that soft, powdery, slightly gourmand almond profile. However, while the resemblance is evident, Celestial Object feels lighter and airier in comparison. Chemin d’Amande, to my nose, is simply better executed — deeper, more nuanced, and more enveloping, with an almond note that feels richer and more refined throughout its development. Celestial Object is pleasant and wearable, but it lacks the depth and complexity that make Chemin d’Amande truly memorable.

First spray was kind of scary and strong. It smells heavily of opening a spice cabinet with spilled spices. A heavy cinnamon, nutmeg, and pepper twang. I was kind of scared it would just be straight pungent spice, and it wafted around. However, after about 30 minutes it settled into a really cool vanilla and almond scent. Super sweet and comfortable. The rice note comes across very like rice pudding to me. I looove the dry down scent. Trying to figure out if I want a full bottle, just unsettled by the first 15-30 minutes of this scent.

This is a beautiful almond scent. There's something about it that feels like fresh air - it's solar and breezy and sweet, but well grounded by the starchy rice paper. There is something a bit lotion-like about the scent. If I smelled it on someone else, I wouldn't immediately assume it was a fragrance, but instead a cosmetic. As with most Liis fragrances, this sits very close to the skin with little to no projection.

this is a very beautiful almond fragrance! if you love an almond croissant, marzipan, etc. this one is right up your ally! the opening is a bit too strong for me but once this begins to dry down, i'm absolutely in love. it's such an indescribable fragrance, ethereal yet grounded, fragile, and almost lactonic. not sure if i'll upgrade my size quite yet but i really was blown away by this one!

This is good. Im an almond lover and of course love the perfume “orgasmo” but this is more complex. The almond is blended and creamy and the spices add a unique aspect to it. Strangely after trying it a second time I’m getting a bit of a sharp opening note and a kind of cardboard note on my skin? Could be the almond not sure.

Smells like almond cake w/ toasted coconut frosting. Yummy, fun. I will wear my sample, but this isn't my typical type of fragrance. My favorite scent from this line is Of True Minds. That is the one I will buy. If you like gourmands, almond gourmands it smells like almond, vanilla cake w/ toasted coconut frosting.

Beautiful beautiful airy almond, tonka and rice. The sample on paper smelt so good I audibly sighed at first sniff. I felt a strange nostalgia for something I couldn’t quite place. Cozy almond painted in watercolour. Sadly my skin chemistry seems to mess up the balance of this one, otherwise would be a love.

Opens with smelling so much like SDJ 62 then transitions into creamy almond rice. shortly after it becomes really steamed rice heavy and then slowly fades into a very gentle tonka bean skin scent (where it reminds me of a much softer less spiced and condensed milk bianco latte).

Intense playdoh opening, but I don't hate it! Stays a pretty synthetic almond as opposed to a more realistic marzipan, but drys down nicely. The quince coming through reminds me of Fugazzi's Sugardaddy, an unexpected twist!

i love when rice notes are executed this way. reminiscent of white rice by d’annam, and the almond note is very nutty and attractive to me. refreshing and appealing, sweet in a non-suffocating way.

Trying this to bed to see what it will smell like in the morning. On first spray, aroma gives the air the smell of a sweet almond, faintest lotion-like vibe. It’s definitely starchy and ricey. Sniffing closer reveals the quince that I’m not so fond of, personally. The pepper is nice, but I think my dream version of this scent has a citrus to balance it out. The quince makes it feel ever soooo slightly exotic. It sort of makes me feel like I’m in a merengue confections shop in Moscow, cold blushing nose, rabbit furs. As it dries, it really lightens up, and feels like it is floating in the air, the faintest airy aroma. Rice candies with beautiful pastel colors and snowflakes. I close my eyes and hold my little stuffed frog and I feel like I’m on the gentlest marshmallow cloud. Not something I think I'd want a FB of, but it's quite nice for what it is.

Celestial Object opens with a promising blend of savory rice, sweet cream, and almond. While it sits firmly in the gourmand category, the execution feels entirely synthetic. Instead of the cozy warmth I expected from these notes, it reads more like scented markers and scratch-and-sniff stickers. It’s a fantastic concept held back by cheap materials—or perhaps my evolving nose has just made me a bit of a fragrance snob. Five minutes into the drydown, a bitter, paper-like note emerges as the rice fades into the background. Ultimately, it’s just an okay release for me. And to end this journey down childhood memory lane, there is a hint of play-doh left on my skin.

This smells like a almond cookie like my grandma used to always have on hand. I don't really smell any incense or anything else.. I was hoping for a little more complexity like I don't smell paper or rice just .. cookie. It's nice, smells tasty and soft .. but liis is pretty expensive I don't see how this is so much costlier than a cheaper middle eastern Gourmand. For example tiramisu Speculoos smells just like a Speculoos cookie. And it's like a fraction of the cost. Sorry but it's just not worth niche prices to smell like cookies imo. So many less expensive perfumes that do a similar thing now

Wow, this is a nostalgic fragrance! But what it makes me nostalgic for is when my children were babies. This is 100% fresh-out-of-the-package Pampers Swaddlers. I don't think I want to go around smelling of diapers, even if it's unused ones, but this was a fun little memory trip.

This is overly sweet for me. On its own, I get migraines after an hour of wear. BUT... layered with Bo- they compliment each other beautifully and I find myself spraying the combo after anlmost every shower. The rice and almond are the loudest notes for me.
