In a surprising turn, I've fallen for a blind purchase with an irresistible price (eBay) and promising notes. This fragrance embodies a deep, alluring greenness, carrying a certain sexiness that's hard to define. After an hour or two, it reveals an unexpected boozy note, akin to aged bourbon or cognac, while retaining its fresh allure (Davana?). Though its performance is yet to impress, this unique, seductive, musky scent remains an intriguing blend of greens and intoxicating undertones. Added this to my list of fragrances that I consider "sexy". Hard to describe what that is, but Davana Cedre definitely possesses that "sexy" quality. Recommended!

Simple well constructed woody aromatic scent. The scent opens with aromatic notes of pink pepper, angelica and cassis. The heart is the davana and cedar. The perfume settles on a powdery base of synthetic musk. The masculine leaning scent has moderate to strong projection and good longevity. Unique and arresting. Enjoy!

Testing this blind from their discovery set, it opened up with a spicy pepper corn and I wondered if maybe saffron. It is green fresh and a little spicy, but it isn't particularly male. I actually find this leaning feminine moreso. Looking at the notes, apart from the obvious red pepper the Angelica and Davana are more prominent, supported by the musky and cedar. The cassis didn't seem present or distinctive. Overall, quite nice and light spicy fragrance with respectful performance. I guess if the bigger and bold feminine spicy fragrances scare you off, this provides a alternative option.

I had the small boxed sample. Really nice, light and sweet unisex more fem leaning to me. I'm looking for this same austere cedar in another item more masculine. I love the simplicity and clarity of the cedar note -- my god. If anyone knows, please message me!

Slightly sweet (I think from the musk and angelica), woody scent that feels airy and peaceful -not a photorealistic trip into the forest, but rather a very nice woodsy scent that feels unique but fully wearable.
