Vettiver Mousson

On paper the vetiver is much stronger than on skin(mine anyway). On my skin It opens with vetiver and ylang; the vetiver goes to the back and it's the Ylang I get the most; it smells soapy at this stage, and has a vintage feel to it(in a good way). Jasmine? Not getting any. Shortly after, it becomes a combination of ylang anf guaiac. After a few hours, the vetiver becomes noticeable again; the scent becomes woody and slightly earthy, and always with some ylang. I think the problem here is the Ylang, there's just too much of it, and it "swallows" the rest of the ingredients. It's not a complex scent, and there isn't much Jasmin(if any) in here to justify the £225 they're asking for; the other ingredients aren't that expensive, so... PS: I don't get the "most suited for WINTER+AUTUMN" votes; this is a fresh, floral, woody, and slightly earthy scent suited for spring and summer.

Testing this blind from their discovery set, this immediately gave me a throwback memory of pizza pepper flake topping, which was brief and fun, but this isn't really the fragrance's character. It dries down holding onto the pepper with clear smokey (assumed vetiver) and some powder. It stays dry, and the powder lets it sit relatively unisex. There's a nice balance to the fragrance, not getting too smokey (which is to foodstuff memory invoking for me). Looking at the notes, the jasmine and ylang-ylang calm the obvious vetiver, but are singularity noticeable. At times I get little moments of lemon, and thought that would be interesting, but it must be the ylang-ylang. Not sure if it's my favorite vetiver, but quite enjoying and had a good silliage, being able to smell it myself easily throughout the day.

From the sample pack they offer this and Incarnation were the standouts to me with this being the most unique of the two. Reminds me of the grassy vetiver from the old Dior Prive line called. Haitan Vetiver. The floral tones add a touch of sweetness to the grass. I could see myself wearing this during warmer weather.

I'm giving another review on this porfume . I took my sample to Italy in the summer , I used it all . I was so addicted to it . I wish it more affordable. I'm testing inhilio vetiver moloko and it's very similar to this one . They both gorgeous. But unfortunately are very expensive .

Very fresh and for me in the end smells like grapefruit . Nothing special , not a complex porfume . It is very plesand , every day pofrume . I'm not sure I would buy FB .
