Angelo di Fiume

My sample opens with a blast of alcohol which may be because it's aged but all the alcohols go away in a minute and left me with a yummy scent which I can't get enough of it When I first checked it's notes I imagined a very girly,fruity,super sweet caramelized gourmand something in the vein of Viva la juicys but I was wrong.ofcourse it IS gourmand and it is sweet but not a syrupy sweet fruity one.it's caramel note reminds me of Xerjoff Lira's caramel just that here it's paired with cherry licore.all in all I can pickup caramel(not a gooey one),vanilla,a boozy cherry note,an unlisted tonka bean,an unlisted cacao,in a base of woody,slightly smokey,slightly balmy,slightly powdery notes.a gourmand for grownups which is wearable by both men and women.oh and yes,I can get the Pink Sugar vibe in it but this is like a more balanced,more refined,niche version of Pink Sugar More than a Pink Sugar dupe It's like a child of Xerjoff Lira and Cacharel Gloria on me For now I'm adding it to my wantlist but considering it's price further wearings will indicate whether I truly can't live without it or not

مارک بوکستون عطار عجیبیه من از غالب کارهاش متنفرم اما سه تا کارشو خوشم اومد که یکیشون عاشقشم، یعنی آکوا سانتا با اون بوی عجیب جلبکی گیاهی اش و دیول این دیسکو از برند دیگه اش که بنام خود مارک بوکستون باز خوشم میاد چون طبیعی ست و البته فقط تک پاییز و به تنم نشست، اما این کار بعید کسی بخواد بخره بپوشه و من نزدیک پنچ شش سال که هنوز کمتر ده میل ازش مصرف کردم.پنچ تا کار سر جنون از نوبهار تک حراج گرفتم که دوتا خنک هاش واقعا مفت گرون و حتی یکبار بیرون نپوشیدم و گذاشتم رد کنم.اما این یکبار زمستون رفتم تو یه پاساژ کامپیوتری و داخل مغازه ای بودم چونه میزدم که یکی از رفقای صاحب مغازه اومد داخل گفت بوی قند سوخته میاد!! طرف گفت آره اما بوش قشنگ و فکر کنم عطر باشه، منم گفتم مال من قندسوخته نیست اما خوب واقعا فرقی هم باهاش نداره. من بیشتر بخاطر یه کاری از سرج لوتنس که دیگه ندارمش اینو گرفتم و دوستش دارم اما غیرقابل پوشیدن و پول حرام کردن بود.بدون تست نخرید و تست هم کردید جوگیر نشید چون محال بشه پوشیدش. البته فارسی نوشتم چون تو فرهنگ های دیگه ممکنه کارامل و قندسوخته باهم براشون عشق باشه کمااینکه من عاشق رز هستم از هر نوعش اما ایران ما رز دوست ندارند‌. پرفورمنس میشه گفت هشت از ده و خوب واقعا

I can see that this one gets mixed reviews, which is understandable, because the scent itself is actually nice, and can be categorized as fruity gourmand, however, i think Angelo di Fiume may garner more positive comments should it have better performance. For me the main scent is smoky caramel and cherry, with vanilla always sing at the back. As for silage, it is moderate at its best. Longevity? It radiates only for 4-5 hours, and then it is hiding into skin scent... And like the others I thought that the skin scent would disappear in a few hours, but when I checked the shirt that i used today (i wore the perfume at 7 am, changing clothes at 5 pm), i can still sniff the perfume on my clothes. So yeah it stays very long with very weak silage after 4-5 hours of application. The flacon is gorgeous though....

I wanted to dislike it as two people whose reviews I follow have disliked it also, but I couldn't. Yes it is very sweet, almost cloying, but nothing beats the fantastic smoky vanilla drydown. It is almost angelic in it's sweetness, it wraps around the wearer like a fog, blinding completely. I don't really know if I will ever find an occasion I will wear this, but I crave a bottle of this. Why? Well, I don't know. I just do, I find it simply non resistible. As for the "generic" part, well I disagree. There is nothing too generic in ANGELO DI FIUME. It most certainly has niche quality, the notes are perfectly blended and the whole composition is flawless. Is it worth the 145 EUR? Doubt it. But what can one do upon falling in love? :)

Very similar to Moresque’s Diadema but without the leather note. It is less sweet than Lira. I detect fruits like cherry and raspberry, then some caramel, finally a few slight floral hints and a soothing, ultra refined vanilla. I find it quite pleasant for any time of day and for all year round. It is a very fruity sparkly gourmand. Subtle but very present throughout the day. Whoever insinuated this resembles Aquolina’s Pink Sugar is out of their mind. Too far from that screeching scent! Feminine leaning and my cup of tea! 10/10

I have loved this perfume since 2015, and once I smelled it, understood that this would be my signature scent. I love sweet, caramel scents, but this one gives me warm, delicious soft sweetness. Someone said that this is similar to aqualina pink sugar, and I can say, that is definitely not. This perfume gives niche quality, and for a person who loves berries and caramel, but doesn't like synthetic sweetness to the tooth, this will be the one. It also little bit reminding of Xerjoff Lira.

A scrumptious scent for fall! This is happy laughter around a backyard bonfire, complete with caramelized toasted marshmallows! I wish the longevity wasn’t so poor, it’s not worth the asking price for sure. But it’s a unique caramel fragrance in that it’s not sticky sweet. It’s got warm spices and a slightly smoky hint in the drydown. Scent: 8/10 Sillage: 4/10 Longevity: 5/10

Yum! Just got a sample, this is very similar to my Diadema, definitely grabbing a bottle Smoke? Poor longevity? No idea what fragrance some of you are referring to, I get no smoke and amazing longevity

Smokey vanilla with caramelised citruses and some dry fireplace ashes. Not at all gourmand or eatable. Very perfumery, unisex and unique. Winter in the bottle.

This is my all-time favorite second only to SDV and DHI Vintage. Beautifully done masculine, fresh and fruity and gourmand. Delicious!

When I close my eyes, I see fairies. Flowers, candies, fruits but not silly at all, just elegant and romantic! I love it:)

On me it smells like Yves Rochers Nature Millenaire, which is not bad at all.. Such a pity, it doesn't last long.

This one is a mystery to me. I received a sample, but I totally forgot the notes, so decided to blind-test it. It opened with a straight-up absinth to me. I definitely picked up something like aniseed, and something slightly smoky, immediately followed by a fir tree note. Instantly a Christmas at grandma's house flashback! it is a very sweet scent, with vanilla and caramel shining through. The notes I smelled differ from the notes listed, yet I really enjoy this scent. It could be patchouli that gives this perfume a slightly cold and medicinal layer that is hidden underneath caramel sweetness. An unusual twist on the caramel theme but done in a very artistic way.

Angelo di Fiumi (Google Translate says this means "Angel River?") is very sweet. I get kind of a sweet pipe tobacco or cigar element in this scent, though I don't see tobacco listed as a note. But yes, sweet smoke and cotton candy and fruits. Sort of an upscale, classier Pink Sugar, but much more polite and less "in-your-face" than that scent. It stayed very sweet while it lasted, but disappeared before I could detect the lovely base notes. I'm not particularly interested in gourmands these days, but this is a nice example of this category if you enjoy these. It's youthful and very pretty overall, and I have a feeling men will enjoy smelling this one on a woman.

reminds me a lot of carolina herrera tonka bronze. woody caramel with a bit of smokiness. it makes me feel like im by a fireplace eating werthers originals. I like this scent but not on myself, prefer it on men.

It s another Pink Sugar followup, basically... alright, not offensive.

I love the idea of a smoky caramel scent, so I had high hopes for Angelo di Fiume, but I think I'm going to have to accept that this combination doesn't work for me in practise. Any hint of smokiness just seems to be blown out of all proportion on my skin (or to my nose, I don't know which); especially when it's combined with sweet edible notes it can tend dangerously towards smelling burned or even a little like barbecue sauce. Fortunately it's not quite that bad with this one, but the smoky aspect does dominate quite strongly all the way through for me, leaving little room for the lovely caramel note, and none at all for the other components: I don't get any vanilla at all, let alone flowers or cherry or other fruits. The end result isn't bad, exactly - the smoke overload is unfortunate because it overpowers the fragrance, but I don't actually mind how it smells, and that caramel note really is very nice when it does come through. But it's not what I was hoping for, and what other people seem to be getting from it: something sweet and delicious, just subtly enhanced by a hint of smoke. So I guess this isn't so much a real review as a note to self (and maybe to others who react to smoky notes the same way I do) to avoid this type of thing from now on - it can only disappoint.

Very strong orange smell, opens up sweeter and the dry down is kind of disappointing, orange gummy bear. not FBW

Angelo di Fiume is an extremely sweet caramel perfume which strongly reminded me of Lancôme's sugarbomb,La vie est belle and YSL 's Manifesto.To me it's just another girly fruity gourmand that makes me feel sick because of its exaggerating sweetness. Fot the price range I would go for La Vie est Belle or any other substitutes..Great lasting power maybe because of its excessive sugary stickiness.

Not sure if I’ve had a different batch to everyone else but this is straight up gross. It’s that really ‘older’ smelling type of sweet perfume that has no longevity and smells cheaper than Britney Spears - Fantasy. If I had to sum this up into one sentence, I’d say ‘Prada - Candy but double the price’.

وانیل و کارامل معمولی به بهشت نخواهیم رفت؛ مادامی که افراط و تند روی و تکرار؛ از تفکر، گفتار و رفتار ما رخت بر نبندد! خیلی وقته که حتی با کلی شعار، تبلیغات و توصیفات لامارتین گونه؛ نمیشه عطری رو انتخاب کرد و هر اندازه هم که این عطر با عناوینی مثل بهشتی، فرا زمینی، اغواگر و ماورای تصور ؛ مورد لطف قرار بگیره و بزرگ بشه؛ باز هم راهی به بهشت نداره و یه عطر مارکت پسند، خسته کننده و تکراری خواهد بود. آنجلو دی فیوم هم یکی از همین عطراست که با توصیفات و القاب زیبایی مورد خطاب قرار گرفته؛ اما خب این کجا و اون فضاهای نامبرده شده کجا! این عطر از همون آغاز که با فضایی درخشان و سیتروسی باز میشه؛ تم وانیلی-کاراملی تکراری خودش رو ارائه میکنه و بعد از اینکه اثری از اون فضای شاداب باقی نمی مونه؛ وانیل و کارامل شیرین، خشک، ترد و همیشگی رو تقدیم شما میکنه. تمام اونچه که بعنوان نتهای این عطر ذکر شدن؛ در برابر نمایش قدرتمند وانیل-کارامل؛ فرصتی برای اعلام حضور پیدا نمیکنن. فقط در قلب کار به شکل عجیبی بوی خمیر کلوچه بخوبی احساس میشه که دلیلش رو نمیدونم! انگار تو یه شیرینی پزی هستید و در حالیکه بوی وانیل و کارامل و شیرینی در فضا پخشه؛ حجم بالایی خمیر هم حاضر شده. این تنها وجه تمایز آنجلو دی فیوم با سایر هم نوعان پرتعداد خودشه؛ که البته تفاوت زیبا و دلچسبی بحساب نمیاد. بعد از اینکه خمیرها رو از شیرینی پزی خارج کردن؛ باز هم ما می مونیم و وانیل و کارامل که ته مایه های میوه ای و دودی خیلی ضعیفی به خودشون گرفتن. آنجلو دی فیومی یه عطر معمولی؛ البته با ارفاق؛ هست که پخش متوسط و ماندگاری حدودا 6 ساعته داره. یه ترکیب آشنا که میخواد از طریق سیرینی پزی و با استفاده از وانیل و کارامل؛ ما رو به بهشت ببره. ولی من پیاده میشم! از بس که در محاصره ی این ترکیبات تکراری و خسته کننده قرار گرفتم می ترسم از اون سر جهنم بزنم بیرون! بررسی خود را بنویسید! کامنت:م.ع (سایت لوکس بایر (با امکان تست سمپل

This is beautiful! I can't stop smelling this! It's creamy, so so warm and cozy, sweet heavenly caramel river with a hint of flowery notes. I don't particularly like overly sweet perfumes but this one is such a cozy scent you just want to be surrounded by it and sink into this tooth-aching caramel sweetness. It is winter here when I am testing this perfume, and it's spectacular for this kind of weather. Warms up everything around you and makes the day brighter and more festive. I like how flower notes are here not overpowered by caramel notes, which is most of the time the prominent note if used, and it doesn't turn to this childish sweet scent, it's still elegant and elevates the mood for sure. There is no cheap sweetness, it feels like you just went through an angelic sweet portal of heavenly notes, that created an olfactive aura around you, I don't know how to explain it, it feels somehow natural to me. I would definitely love to smell this on someone else. For me this is heaven! If you have any problems with longevity, just try spraying more, I did that the second time I tried it because I too thought that it doesn't last or project as much, but more sprays helped for sure and it doesn't turn cloying or overpowering. So don't be shy on your sprays would be my advice and you will definitely enjoy this scent and realize the beauty of it!

Linari ANGELO DI FIUME is a very sweet floriental perfume, with much more caramel than flowers, in fact. Although it is classified as unisex, I'd be very surprised if many gents took a liking to this. I'd even go so far as to say that this fragrance bumps up against the limit of acceptable sweetness for many gals as well. The composition seems similar to a celebrity scent intended for teens, except that the quality seems a lot better than most of those. Aside from the sweet caramel, I smell a fairly big dose of benzoin, which is always a good thing in my book, along with the sandalwood-vanilla combination so often featured in designer floriental perfumes. Here, I grant, it smells fresh, not sour or stale or synthetic and seems to last forever (I eventually took a bath...). Nonetheless, all in all, when all is said and sniffed, this fragrance seems to me to be redundant, and I cannot imagine very many people wanting to buy such a scent at the asking price, unless they have become smitten with the fancy bottle, in which case I'd recommend seeking out one of the more distinctive perfumes of this line.

I've to resign to the fact that Linari's fragrances are anything but distinctive or original. With the exception of Acqua Santa and Fuoco Infernale which, IMO, are the stand outs of the line, the rest of the offering is made out of trite and derivative designer compositions sold at high-end niche prices. Angelo Di Fiume is Linar's take on gourmand and strikes as a cloying and banal vanille/caramel combo that smells like a puerile deodorant for 13 years old. The worst news is that it's by one of my favorite perfumeurs of the new school: Mr Buxton. Awful. Rating: 2/10

100% Lira to me, caramel vanilla with a touch of citrus and fruit (nondestinct, I smell no cherry or raspberry note.) Can even pass as Aquolina as imho these are the same genres but at different price points (so obv. better quality although not really justifiable extra cost if you're not a real gourmand connoisseur.) It's nice, gourmand, super sweet though. I love my gourmands but this is a little too "generic" for me - bunch of sweet caramel, lovely, too sweet, not really unique.

Smell : Candies, fruits, flower. Gourmand, classy, adorable. Angelo di Fiume is for lovely women that want THE very gourmand fragrance. I mean this is really gourmand, not very sweet, because (it can) feel too gourmand to be sweet. Linari is a "niche" house that use top quality materials so that's why it smells really sharp. If you are looking for a more expensive and sophiticated version of the over-famous gourmand: "La vie est belle" from Lancome, you can give it a try.

This is beautiful! A well distinguished creamy warm vanilla, very long lasting. Caramelized marshmallows and chocolat, a pinch of bergamot and cherry.

Finally the Linari line hits Fragrantica! This is basically a Sweet smoky vanilla with lemon (or citrus really as per the notes), soft and beautiful.

This is basically Aquolina Pink Sugar plus a strong smell of woodfire smoke. I quite liked it, but the longevity was very poor.. less than an hour.
