Drago Nero

Dear gods of perfumery, this is stunning! I ordered a bottle after the first sniff, which is rare for me. Winter test, dry air, cold skin. Every vetiver oriented scent (unless we are talking trace amounts) normaly presents a sharp and prominent vetiver that may or may not bite your head of and is rounded by soapiness sooner or later, drying down to either a smokiness or a fresh soap. Here the softest vetiver is carefully blended with fruit and flowers and you are left with the nicest part of vetiver that does not bite and the most aromatic, sweet and juicy parts of ananas and mandarine, no sourness or bitterness. I find that it smells the same way on blotter and on my skin, equaly fantastic. Lasting power is impressive, easily the whole day, during which I often get distracted by the beauty of Drago nero. I am exited to see how it would behave in the summer, but right now it is divine! Absolutely incredible on a woman.

I get an unmistakable masculine vibe sprayed on my skin! I really like it! Sort of mature and sophisticated. I get a slight ambergris warm and round, woody notes, present clean Musk, the Vetiver smooth and herbal but delicious! Definitely rounds out the scent. I don’t get many florals, peppery slight citrus notes I guess the fruitiness is dark in this one! I also get a slight petrol note I really am enjoying this! So glad I got to test it! I imagine a man that knows what he wants wearing this. Very good.

So, I got a tester for this last week, and decided to try this out. Just sprayed it on about ten minutes ago, but so far all I'm getting is a very dusty pineapple and nothing else really. Dust as in actual dust. Not powder. Also, I really detest the pineapple note. It's probably my most hated note, together with coconut. Kind of curious what the drydown will be like, but I kind of don't want it to be really good, because I'll never be able to get over that opening. Not sure what the idea is here, but so far it's not working for me. Edit: Waited it out, but nothing happened. Dislike, alas.
