Mare Pacifico

Lovely, lovely fragrance altough its name doesn't match the smell for me. More than the pacific ocean, to me it reminds the mediterranean, that salty turquoise water and those green trees... Plus, it has some kind of bubble bath smell, seems like you are in a bubble bath in the middle of the mediterranean sea in a Mallorca Creek. Smells like Rafa Nadal :-) On a side note, the bottle is the most anti everything on the market. It's difficult to spray the perfume without being afraid of dropping the bottle, plus... the bottle is so wide that distance between the spray and your neck is really long, and a nice amount of juice goes lost in the base of the bottle itself. Who's that genius who designed that? I also have to say that i splitted the 100ml bottle into 10ml decants and turned out to be around 92ml

I didn't expect to love this hahaha... Because the review is not that good, so I was hesitant to even try this out. I thought it's gonna be salty, dirty, and not very pleasant. But strangely, I find this perfume calming. Imagine a calm Mediterranean sea, and you are on your own in a small boat not too far from the shore, you might be fishing, or reading, or simply having a sip of tea.... In short you're having a me time there. For me it's calming lemon and birch fragrance. I did try not to like this, but when I wear this, the more time lapses, the more I'm loving it. Don't worry about overspraying it, because it's not cloying, and it stays and detectable around 5-6 hours and then turns into skin scent for another 4 hours.

I really like this one. Even though the longevity could be better. The sea notes are not fishy. I think it ́s more beachy then marine. Not much calone here, fortunately. A warm Mediterranean breeze. The bottle looks nice but sucks.

"Mare Pacifico" for me was a bit different than your usual aquatics - there is nothing fresh, nor very breezy about this. The previous reviewer suggested that this smells like bubble bath, but I strongly disagree - for me "Mare Pacifico" is very dirty. Imagine a seaside with all the algae and something rottent and industrious scent of some sort of factory just behind the trees. I find "Mare Pacifico" to be something both sexes can wear, but I think it would suit male skin better. Nevertheless - this will appeal only to those who love how the sea smells - not the hotel resort pretty sea, but the real thing with all the guts and gross stuff floating around. You know what I'm talking about. Excellent longevity (9 hours strong) and a good sillage. Pass from me as I'm not a fan of marine like scents, but worth a try - very interesting.
