Bisous

Am not big on white flowers, mostly as they turn indolic very quickly on my skin. Not the case with Bisous though, this scent is quite adorable and unique. Note-wise I get more jasmine than ylang which make up about 80% of the composition, the rest is somewhat equal proportions of zingy lemon/ginger and amber. Overall, it is an alluring and chic scent, very feminine and inviting, am tempted to purchase...but then... Only qualm is that it is merely a skinscent on me. Yet, this is probably due to the fact that I got a dabber sample and not sprayed on clothes. Longevity is not stellar either by the looks of it, about a couple of hours. While sillage and longevity are important evaluating factors to me, I might pull the trigger on a purchase as it's an excellent scent. Side note: this is categorised as 'Oriental Floral' on the official website. P.s. As mentioned the sample is a dabber so I wanted to see if the performance is better when sprayed hence poured it into a sprayer. Projection and longevity has improved a lot now, up to moderate for both.

At the inial blast I said directly - oh no... this is not for me. The ginger note was so prominent and Sharp that it blocked my nose for a while. Then I started to feel amber base, ylang-ylang, jasmine and still ginger. The ginger is very strong, it is the heart of the fragrance. I would say that this scent is a mixture of Hermes Un Jardins apres la mousson and Bortnikoff Amber Cologne. In fact, I wouldconsider buying this one instead of Mr Bortnikoff as Bisous does not feel animalic at all. If you like ginger-it would definitely be Worth checking out. I would consider getting a bottle if I find it at a discount.

Bisous, for me opens up with a huge dose of ylang-ylang and stays like that throughout it's lifespan. There is a touch of jasmine, beeswax, and the smallest dose of dark chocolate. This scent is quite thick because of the aforementioned ylang-ylang, however there is some kind of sparkling quality there as well. Quite feminine, I can enjoy it, but it is not for me. The longevity is the weakest from the line, about 5-6 hours on my skin with a soft projection. It is worth checking out, but, subjectively, I would not recommend getting a full bottle.

A beautiful classic scent, fantastic quality and longevity, one of those amazing scents that linger on your scarf and coat lapels. Very floral and chic. I mostly get jasmine and white flowers. Could easily be a signature scent.

This scent presents a quite sour and unpleasant ylang-ylang (maybe it’s the combination of ylang-ylang with the ginger that makes it become so sour?) in combination with a too sweet honey. Based on the notes this is not what I expected. I think this might be one of the scents some people love and others hate. For myself, this is a scent giving a headache. Not a blind buy!

Petitgrain, citrus, & ginger... With doses of ylang, jasmines, & some beeswax. I can't detect any amber or chocolate. This is white floral blend with petitgrain, & citrus. 70s style blends.
