Pêche et Suède

This is hands down the #1 peach perfume I recommend to others. This is a true peach, a white juicy creamy peach in the heart of summer. Hyper realistic, and runs the full length of the perfume (instead of just running off right after the opening, or getting lost in a sea of other notes, like a lot of peaches do). This peach you can eat, is instantly recognizable for what she is, and is a big compliment getter because of it. More on what this isn't, as I've kissed a lot of peach frogs. Unlike a lot of other peaches, this one is not synthetic. Many peaches on the market are peach candy - that fake, overly sweet, "it says peach but actually smells like amorphous fruit" variety. If you are looking for the real deal, look no further. It smells exactly like your hands do after eating a fresh peach and having the juice run down your skin. This is also not a crap body spray peach. Many peaches I have tried fall into this category, even at incredibly high price points. The suede and soft wood background make this more grown up. This is certainly light hearted and summery, but it could easily be worn by women of all ages. As a 40 year old, I have handed many a peach perfume to my daughters, because the scents are just too immature. Lastly, this is no grandma, bitter peach. (While I despise bitter peach, I do love mitsuoko, which I'd also place on the chypre peach category.) There is nothing boozy, spicy, jammy or bitter about this. It isn't cloying or headache inducing. Simply put, this is the best true peach ever. This is also my best blind buy, as it actually lived up to my incredibly high expectations. Beautifully blended skin scent/suede base that adds to the softer side of the fruit without dominating it or interfering with the elegant simplicity. Plays/Layers beautifully with others (favorite combos include +Creed virgin island water for a peach daiquiri, +blanche bete for milky peach, +Santal piano to omp up the sandalwood). Can easily be turned into all those peach/flower combos by layering with your favorite flower. (I love +Kai and +Narcisco Rodriguez if you love fame, I love choo, the one, or that variety of peach). But I mostly wear her by herself, and she always makes me smile. Sillage and longevity are moderate- 4-6 hours and smellable at arms length. She is no beast, but she also has a lot more staying power than most peaches. If you want a real peach, look no further. I've tried seriously about every peach on the market (as peach was my first perfume as a girl and made me fall in love with fragrance). This one is a clear winner.

First blind buy EVER. Just got my bottle and... I really really like it! It does smell like peach but to be more specific – and as Linda's web says– it smells like flat peach, it's sooo good. As other commentators say, it's a great balance of tangy and sweet, a combination I'm getting addicted to. It's soft and intimate, though I wish it had a bigger silage. Personally, I only smell the suede note at the beginning, and as the fragrance melts with my skin it isn't noticeable. I got it directly from her website at 99eu and she was very kind to send additional samples from her other fragrances.

Peche et Suede is a beautiful peach and suede combo with a pinch of freesia and a smooth sandalwood base. This peach is super realistic and just perfectly ripe, not too sweet or sour, just in the middle. The suede adds smoothness and creates the feeling of peach skin. The peach and suede dominate the whole fragrance, therefore it is quite linear, which is great since I enjoy it very much. On my skin, it lasts for about 7 hours with moderate to soft projection. It does lean a bit feminine, but I don't care, it is just so good. Do check it out, you might enjoy it as much as I do.

I am always very careful with fragrances that include the note of peach. I love the actual fruit and its scent but for some reason peach in the perfumes doesn't smell as ripe and delicious as it does normally. So I didn't expext much from Peche et Suede, however it surprised me very much with its natural and very pleasant fruity scent of real peach. It is smooth and yummy with gentle touch of white floral freesia. It is the best peach accord in the fragrance I've found till the present time. Evokes memories of summer and vocation in the South

This is heaven. I’ve been on a peach hunt for months and can end my search. My bottle arrived today and it’s everything I hoped it would be. Not shampoo peach, not powdery retro peach, not peach candy- a glowy realistic peach with the elegant suede like it’s name. Linda Landenberg is so cool too! Very friendly and great about shipping to the USA. I wish she was better known over here. The packaging & bottle are beautiful. I’m thrilled. Best blind buy ever!

Peach note lover here! This is indeed a realistic juicy fresh peach, one of the most realistic I have come across (only Peche Cardinal is bigger in this sense). While the peach note is most dominant, this perfume retains a nice balance and somehow stays in the grown-up realms (probably the light woody support notes). Overall, another unique, feminine, chic frag from the line (not unisex to me).

Best peach scent everr! Don’t know why this gem got discontinued. Fresh, little sweet, most realistic, fleshy peach with tiny bits of suede and something floral. It doesn’t last very long though

Wow, this is so much better than I expected. This is a realistic peach fruit, the scent of a pecah nectar that you buy at a supermarket in a tetra 1 liter packaging, the scent of a peach tea. I don't feel any Suede note, which is good, since I Think many can be scared of it. Freesia is noticeable. This will suit a younger generation - 15 to 30 years old, I guess, since it is so innocent. Try to get a sample, I Think Linda runs a promotion on her Facebook page from time to time to get free samples.

All I get is a smell of cat urine and something sweet, it's awful.

The most amazing fresh realistic peach/nectarine smell I have ever smelled other than the actual fruit itself. For anybody who dislikes traditional perfumes and wishes something that smells like the real fresh peach without any headyness, any perfumy alcoholic undertones, this is it. My search for a clean, eadible, fresh, inoffensive, juicy and addictive scent is finally over. Compared to Peche Cardinal this is WAY BETTER. Peche Cardinal got nothing on Pêche et Suède! At least to my taste. Peche Cardinal smells way "older", it smells more like a "mom ́s peach perfume" and Pêche et Suède smells like "adult daughter ́s peach perfume". When I wore Peche Cardinal, to me it did have a better sillage and longevity, but the smell itself was more like an expensive lotiony type, not old in a way that it smells vintage or perfumy but it has more of that expensive, elegant fake smell and it ́s more like synthetic peach essence when Pêche et Suède is fresh and realistic as if you are eating a fresh peach and wearing a suede handbag. This is not a childish smell at all, it has that suede note in there which adds just that bit of skin-like scent to it and makes it more sensual and because the peach is fresh and realistic (and stays that way throughout the wear) it is not soapy or shampooy neither too sweet like many peach scents. On me the first spritz gives most of the peach and a tiny bit of suede and the suede comes a bit more noticable from 30min to 1h in, but still the peach is more dominant and just as fresh as in the first spritz (thank you God! Well i should say thank you Linda!!<3<3<3). Sillage is not much, this is an intimate skin scent. But you can definitely smell it on yourself and get a stronger wiff of the scent when moving around. My husband always compliments me and tells me I smell lovely when I wear this. The smell is very linear in comparison to some other fruity perfumes that loose that fresh fruit immediately after spraying. In this one the peach is noticable and fresh(doesn ́t turn too sweet) the whole wear time but I would say slowly the suede becomes the more prominent accord in the drydown and the peach takes a backseat. The longevity is perhaps 4h... but I still smell it on my clothes the next day if I sprayed some on my clothes. I love love love love love love love this scent!!! I am so grateful I found this and as others noted when you order from her own website, you get samples from her other scents which are so good too, I got the full Savour discovery set with my order of just 1 bottle of Pêche et Suède! But all in all to me this scent is 9,9/10. If only it had a stronger sillage and longevity it would be 10+.

If you truly love peach in your fragrances, I think this is a must buy. Also had a great experience ordering from Linda's website. I thought shipping would be slow from Stockholm to the US, but it was lightning fast. Not to mention she threw in a ton of samples. Personally reached out via email to communicate. I'm going to come back and update this review once I get a better sense of it after a longer wear, but if you're on the fence - just take the plunge.

It’s sweet, it’s tangy it’s peachy very pretty, low sillage more a close skin scent. If you love the smell of peach you will love this fruity scent. It’s not girly though it’s an adult scent with a more earthy dry down

Sandalwood peach skin... i get real peaches, like peach skin with sandalwood, and suede. Kind of dark but very direct. Good.

Can't believe how someone can discontinue such a beautiful unique scent. It's a damn shame!
