Hello by Lionel Richie

I simply can't get enough of this fragrance. It's such a unique floral fragrance with a hint of sweetness. I get a 90s vibe from this fragrance. I let my mother smell this fragrance and she said the exact same thing. I feel like this fragrance would've been legendary if it was released in the 90s. But it being a 2019 release doesn't take away from how amazing this scent is. Surprisingly, the lemon, Grapefruit and Tuberose aren't really prominent in this fragrance, and that's a good thing because I'm not the biggest fan of Tuberose or citrus fragrances. They're so well blended. Through the dry down, i get a mildly sweet Honey and Tonka Bean. There's nothing like this on the market. The performance is out of this world. This lasted 6-7 hours on my skin and projects 4+ feet. Even after 4 hours of wear, i could still smell it on myself, meaning i know for a fact that other people could smell it. Lionel Richie outdone himself with this fragrance and I'm really hoping he continues this line. Maybe we'll get a "All Night Long" fragrance sometime in the not too distant future lol Scent:10/10 Packaging: 7/10 Performance: 8/10

I bought this on sale for £4 at my local savers (uk), I should've stocked up because it's a really nice safe perfume. I can smell "suddenly madame glamour" (the dupe for chanel coco mademoiselle) in this. Funny how it reminds me of the dupe for chanel but not for chanel 😅 Anyhoo, there is something in this that gives this perfume the most subtle and fun sweetness. Its juicy too, not tart but gentle. The dry down and how long it lingers is so amazing. Completely changes into a more cuddly cashmere sweater, cotton wool clouds type of smell. That's a bad description but that's how I feel 😅 I really like it and for the price!? Can't complain.

i'm so glad i didn't read the notes or reviews before i bought this. i love it. i bought the body spray, so that's what my review is based on. i will be buying the perfume, though, as well as the masculine counterpart cologne. i do believe this is aimed at an older crowd... i turned 44 this year and it reminds me of some perfumes i loved in the 80s and into the early 90s. most especially it reminds me of Caesars Woman...and maybe a little of Ungaro's Diva.

I am very surprised by this Fragrance. I paid $10 for this bottle and had very low expectations. I initially thought it was good but not great and was going to declutter it when I gave it another try. I completely changed my mind. This smells much more expensive than it is and rivals some of my niche fragrances. I definitely recommend you give this a try, especially at such an inexpensive price point.

Omygoodness this has an addictive quality about it! To be frank I cannot handle jasmine sambac! It's too much for me, headache inducing even. But my word! I'm going back again and again to this heady perfume. It's to my senses tonka bean and jasmine sambac. That's all. But wow! It's strong! It's a Powerhouse! But addictive! Please create more! I'm intrigued to see what is in the next perfume!

This is really scrumptious to me. The dry down is lovely. I’m pleasantly surprised!

Jasmine with honey and a touch of ambroxan. It feels clean, but there’s a warm base that makes it a bit more interesting. The honey isn’t heavy or too sweet; it just softens everything and blends nicely with the jasmine without taking over. On clothes, it lasts around 7 hours. You can smell it, it’s there, but it doesn’t take over the room. It’s quite versatile and works most of the year, although in peak summer it might feel a bit heavy. I see it as perfect for work, office, or university. It’s not too quiet, but it’s definitely not overwhelming either. It just smells good, in an easy and natural way. It really shines in cooler, rainy, or mild weather. That’s when the honey and jasmine feel more comforting, almost like a soft wrap around you without being too much.

Hello beautiful Christmas steal!! I love trying a new bargain and finding a wonderful new scent. Hello is now on clearance in the big drug chains.at $15 for a 1.7oz spray gift set I am a Happy Elf!. The citrus is up front and under a velvety pillow of tonka and warmth. Amber isn't listed but I smell it...not spicy..not floral. Not a loud banger-no 'Dancing on the ceiling' here, arm length silage. Sophisticated and simple. Elegant, 'Hello..was it me you were looking for ?' A snuggler, comforting. A pretty bottle, especially at this price. All in all a great starter for a patchouli Apprentice, and a great casual wear fragrance. It's so warm and Easy..it might be my new bedtime compliment.

I saw the pretty bottle on Amazon and blind bought it. I sprayed it on as soon as it arrived today! It is a sweet light floral feminine scent but not sickly sweet. It has a hint of powder but doesn’t smell like baby powder. Definitely has honey in it but it is a clean version nothing animalic or skanky. In 65 degree weather it has lasted on my dry skin 4 hours and is still going strong! This is a strong skin scent so you smell it and anyone standing close to you but no scent trail. I really like this perfume and will wear it a lot this winter. Doubt I can wear it in high heat but I will test it and may edit this review.

This a beautiful, clean classic floral. everyone will appreciate it. it is similar to a lot of Estee Lauder perfumes. you will never tell that this is a celebrity fragrance. i think he targeted over 30 years old audience.

I feel like this one is similar (not a dupe) to La Belle by JPG. If you like that one, then try this one. You can find it online for under $20 USD. Pleasant fruity floral with some sweetness in the drydown.

Very pretty; sweet white florals deepened with some tonka and honey, opens a bit sneezy with pink pepper. Perfect for warm/hot weather, I think scents like this just wear better. Arms' length projection.

There’s something about this that reminds me of Coco Mademoiselle. By no means a dupe, just something that reminds me of a much lighter version.

Bought this because it was cheap but was shocked at what a lovely scent it is . Bottle is gorgeous too.. smells expensive and different

This is a strange one. It smells like food. When I smell it, I feel like I am at a buffet.

I bought it when I went to the US, and I am underwhelmed, it isn’t anything special, it is hard to define , soft sweet floral, it is feminine, but way too soft...had it been stronger, maybe I would think this is worthy of buying...mind you, it isn’t expensive, neither should it be...it is like a nice little scent, but I much prefer more complex perfumes...I don’t detect tuberose, or patchouli.mostly warm sweet musks...had it projected more, I might have been enthusiastic..I wore it several days in a row and nobody even noticed...the bottle is pretty, the scent is like, ok, nice..not much more to say.

I think Lionel Richie might be a little late to the celebrity fragrance game, but better late than never! So, I tried this today at Walgreens and I think it's lovely. I sprayed my hand once walked around a bit then sprayed one more time before I left. My first thought was bazooka bubblegum, candy sweet at first. Then, I smelled a retro vibe circa 1990. Sweet, tuberose, a bit sophisticated, dried down nice and warm. I thought I smelled sandlewood but I guess I am wrong. I think it will be popular and the bottle is pretty!

Between this one and EL's Beautiful Belle, I found out I do not at all like ambroxan. I like ambergris, but not ambroxan on its own. I am an absolute sucker for a grapefruit-pink pepper-patch team though (I *am* a millenial, after all), and the one in Hello is utterly superb. To my nose the drydown is dominated by that pesky ambroxan, but the base is definitely a soft, vanillic tonka bean and just-perceptibly indolic jasmine. Overall, I like it. The bottle is beautiful.

A $10 steal from TJ Maxx. The bottle is so cute and kind of expensive looking, and the fragrance smells far more expensive that what it sells for. On me, this is sweet and deep, perfect for fall and winter. This gets LOTS of wear. I agree, I feel this is aimed for a woman late 20's+. Great job sir Lionel.
