Oh Mon Dieu!

I love this scent. I don’t detect any smokiness (perhaps it’s very subtle) but it’s a rich, delicious and expensive scent. The lipstick note is very prominent, it adds luxury to this fragrance. It’s a very well-balanced and long-lasting perfume. Its projection is excellent too.

This is one of those fragrances you just keep coming back to. It has the comfort of a sweater, but the sensuality of a nightgown. I love it. The floral is totally balanced by the woods and spice.

Came across their brand in Harrods today. I tried all 5 of the perfumes and to my surprise this is my favourite. When the saleslady told me the opening note is lipstick, I was a bit unsure as I don't like the cosmetic-like perfumes and always find them very artificial, chemical and vintage in a bad way (e.g. Lipstick On by Replica and Lipstick Fever by Juliette Has a Gun, etc.). However, this fragrance is nothing like that. As the name 'Oh mon dieu' suggests, when I smelled it I was like 'oh my god!' I can smell lipstick, leather and rose in the beginning and after a few hours when I went home, I can smell a balanced dry down of sweetness and booziness from plum and cognac. It is absolutely growing on me and I am still hesitating if I should get a bottle.

Very nice. Well-blended and thus pleasant to the nose. Somewhat familiar scent profile but well-done. I'd describe it as a dark iris scent. A little mysterious and seductive. Slightly boozy. If you're not a fan of a leather note, you don't need to be afraid of it here. Unisex. I'd wear it for special occasions like a date at a theater/orchestra or an evening in an upscale lounge. Reminds me of classy European evenings for some reason. It feels modern enough yet it has a bit of bohème vibe. A great option if you're looking for a new and uncommon scent with iris/lipstick note.

I received this fragrance as a christmas gift—It is a beautiful fragrance but this fragrance is not Unisex—it is clearly a woman’s fragrance!

This is a gorgeous scent! On me it opens up with a caramel/cognac, similar to that found in Side Effect from Initio and once it starts to dry down more of that lipstick/incense/(soft) leather comes out to play making this less gourmand than the opening. What I really like about this it's that you can detect every note listed which rarely happens in the perfume world. Performance is excellent. Can see this being worn year round but maybe a tiny bit more appropriate for fall and winter. Admittedly, I was reminded of other fragrances, maybe bits and pieces of them. 😅 This is a perfect option for those of us who are "non gourmand lovers" but still want a gourmand option.😉 Will I buy a full size bottle? Probably not but I'll continue to wear the sample & keep it in mind as a future option.

What I adore about this scent is the slow burn you feel as the notes unfold... the hypnotic chemistry at work, as your skin is coated in the most irresistible aroma. I’m fully and utterly in love with this scent and encourage anyone who loves decadent, layered gourmands to give it a sniff. Oh Mon Dieu is outrageously good. Simultaneously elegant and bold, comforting and seductive, its hedonistic streak softened by the aura of true French refinement. This is a scent for the lovers of Plum in Cognac by Scents of Wood, Black V by Widian, Let The Dance Begin by La Perla, Soie Malaquais by Dries Van Noten and Rivalite Imperiale by Plume Impression. 🖤

I have never liked this brand. I always thought they were like a wannabe Fornasetti. So I avoided even bothering trying the new-ish perfume line. Well, they actually did a really good job with them. There’s a really good rose, a really good incense, a really good citrus, a really good woody/spicy, a really good sandalwood, and now here is a really good lipstick and whiskey scent, nicely balanced, very harmonious and pleasant to wear. Good quality and long-lasting. And they sell reasonably priced 50 ml bottles of each scent. I’m pleasantly surprised and impressed. 4 out of 5.

Smells good, sweet, but ultimately very candle-like.
