Brume Délicieuse Amande

THE PERFECT ALMOND FRAGRANCE!!! This is EXACTLY how i envision an almond-centric perfume to smell. It's creamy, nutty, lactonic, slightly green, slightly sweet, and just the right amount of powdery. There definitely is some brightness in the opening from the begamont and elemi, but the stars of the show here are the almond, heliotrope, and vanilla. The majority of olfactory experience is heliotrope and almond, but the base turns vanillaic in the best way possible. There is some minor floral undertone here but this is a TRUE ALMOND FRAGRANCE!! This truly smells like getting fresh out of the shower, slathering on cocoa or shea butter, and diving into your warm, freshly-washed cotton sheets with a worn-in book in hand. Maybe you even have a cup of chamomile tea on your bedside. This will work in every season, and layer with almost every perfume perfectly. And the PERFORMANCE?? AMAZING!! I swear this body mist lasts longer than so many actual perfumes I have. It's the perfect amount of projection and lasts about 2 to 3 hours. Rating: 10/10 NO NOTES!!!!

Managed to get my hands on the old bottle as the packaging has recently been changed but I'm not sure if its been reformulated. They don't tell you these days, even though I asked the sales assistant at the store and she said they haven't. I really hope they haven't. But it was love at first smell for me. Its smells incredible. I smell the Almond first, then the floral notes, then the green notes, then the creamy notes. It smells so fresh but cosy at the same time. I'm also so glad they haven't added vanilla in there as that would've ruined it completely and they seem to add vanilla in everything these days for some reason. It lasts very long on me as well. And the fact that you can spray it in your hair too is just perfect. I'm very picky with fragrances and I LOVE this one. I feel amazing wearing it and I agree that its a safe blind buy. Love love love!

i have this in the body lotion and shower gel. i can't imagine myself getting sick of it. it's so beautiful. BDA is milk, almonds, and baby powder. on my skin, it turns sweeter like vanilla. i use the gel in the shower, then apply the lotion right after i get out, which creates a baby powder base for layering more fragrances, because i find that milky/vanilla scents go with most other scents, just like white goes with every other colour. if i was in a Vogue beauty secrets video, i'd share that. BDA is too powdery to be a gourmand. very clean. TOTALLY unisex. can be worn for virtually any occasion, and has good sillage + longevity. this is one of my favourite scents, you can't go wrong with it. 11/10.

Blind bought this with the shower oil a couple of months back and when I first sprayed it I wasn’t crazy about it because it reminded me of B&BWs Japanese Cherry blossom and also a cherry blossom perfume I bought years ago from L’Occitane in duty free because I didn’t bring any perfume with me overseas, but I just tried it again today and the almond really came through this time and I love it! There’s a light sweetness to it as well, but I wouldn’t quite say gourmand. It’s very green, nutty, and has a touch of that floral cherry blossom I first smelled with just a little bit of lactonic accord that’s not too heavy for summer. I see what the fuss is all about, now!

This was a blind buy and ... it’s PERFECT !!! I’m so in love with this mist. I’ve also bought the Almond body cream and they both are amazing. It doesn’t only smell like almond but a very clean, fresh, creamy type of fragrance without being too much. It’s perfect for wintertime but I can totally see me wearing it in summer too. For a mist, it lasts very long on my skin and even longer on my cloth. I love to wear it at home when I wanna feel fresh and cozy. If you’re an almond lover and are looking for a little twist, I couldn’t recommend it more.

This is what I always dreaming of. Finally here in store. But once again, it's just limited release and in a blink, all sold out so fast. I just pray and hope they make the EDP or EDT. This is the perfect balance of sweet, comforting, bitter and musk. You can't blame the longevity but the way this fragrance blend with your body is so beautiful, it's skin smell but. better. I wish I can hoard a lot of bottle.

This has the staying power of an EDP and honestly... I bought 2 more bottles of this because I was scared this might be limited edition. I love this. It’s creamy, floral, fresh, yet extremely warm. It smells like vanilla and almonds to me. Fresh and cozy almonds with a touch of floral freshness. This mist is beautiful and I can see myself repurchasing this for the rest of my life lol.

Here is a soft, gently sweet, and balmy mist that I find delicious to wear to bed. The mist is hydrating and very comforting. The tonka bean and almond settle on the skin to envelope in an established way, but refrains from becoming candy-esque. I have purchased two bottles, as I was told by the sales advisor that this was a limited edition release in L’Occitane’s catalogue.

Oh wow! I was looking for a fragrance that smells similar to many body wash you can find in France with almond oil, almond extract or almond flowers notes in it, and this smell exactly like those with a sweetness added to it. I'm so in love with this fragrance, I just wished that it would last longer but it's a body spray so obviously the longevity is not crazy.

A blind buy that I absolutely love!!! This is so clean and powdery while also smelling like a sweet gourmand marzipan dessert, my favorite thing on the whole world. For a body mist, it performs exceptionally well. I love to wear it right after a shower, it makes me feel clean and cozy. Nothing but good things to say about it, and I will definitely repurchase!

A must have for almond lovers! Very creamy and rich and high quality, and smells like the shower oil imo. A safe wear all year around but personally the creamy almond scent reminds me of summer and sunscreen a bit so I’d say summer if I had to choose. Also quite similar to SDJ 62 but a bit sweeter so if you like that you’ll probably like this!

This is the perfect companion to the almond shower oil, they smell pretty much the same. I really enjoy it! The scent last about 4-6 hours on my skin and longer on clothes. It’s comforting and easy to wear, perfect for casual days. It also makes for a good after the shower and bedtime scent.

NICHE fragrance memory: bright pink gas station hand soap. It smells exactly like that in the most wonderful way. A bit like ludens wild cherry cough drops. Also in a good way. It has what I recognize as cherry but I don’t see it listed anywhere. The second I smelled this I knew I needed it

milky, almondy baby powder. i currently have this in the shower gel, body lotion, and hand cream. its that good. i wear this every day as a clean base to pair with another perfume, otherwise its amazing on its own too.

This scent is somehow able to be a clean, post-shower, musky and powdery scent, while also being sweet and delicious. My nose picks up whiffs of amber, almond, pistachio and vanilla. Love it.

Creamy almond white musk, clean and airy and fluffy. Really just creamy and light and airy. Such a good post-shower scent in the hot weather, sweet and creamy without being dense or cloying, clean without being squeaky-sanitized. I find it works best as a hair mist, the almond scent lasts in my hair until the next day and I catch whiffs of it. It doesn't work nearly well as a body mist though, the performance is real bad. Spraying it on the skin works for a nice pick-me-up, but not for realistic wear. Can't really justify the price personally but I'm happy to have it as a gift. Probs will miss her when she's gone.

Not quite what I had expected having used other products from the Amande line; favorite products would be the Shower Oil, Supple Skin Oil and this fragrance. As time has progressed most of the line has started to smell synthetic with a plasticky undertone. However, I do like this fragrance, so far no smell of plastic, its not super sweet but smells quite clean and cozy. Its not a strong fragrance, does wear close to the skin. At first sniff, I immediately smell the warm Almond and Tonka Bean, soft floral and hints of citrus. Well formulated and balanced.

It smells like you just came out of the shower and put on almond oil all over your body. So fresh yet so warm. It's very marzipany. It smells like a sweet almond milk with some musk and florals. I love it so much, but it might get a little overwhelming in warmer weather. It smells like a clean cotton sweater mixed with a smell of baked almond cookies. It lasts a while if sprayed on hair. I like to drown myself in it. I wish this was turned into perfume for longevity but I get solid 4-5 hours out of one wear

the history between me and this fragrance is crazy like we go way back, so i might be a little bit biased but ill try to be as unbiased as i can. when first spraying it on its literally playdough, but you have to trust the process because after letting it air for about a minute it turns into this rich salty almond and amber kind of smell which i love. i do feel like as it macerated it got more and more playdoughy which i find so unfortunate but it is what it is

To be honest, I was disappointed! This is not the exact same scent as the shower oil or the cream etc. The fresh aromatic & sort of greens scent to it ruined it for me! It would’ve been much much nicer & better if that note of undertone is not there. I’ll still use it, but I’m sad, I wished so so much it was the identical scent because that’s heavenly, but it’s not. 😔 Still nice but no where near the shower oil or cream & body oil. 😔

it smells pretty alcoholic when first sprayed and it takes a couple of minutes for the scent to settle down. After it settles down, it smells exactly like the shower oil which is so pleasent! Smells like a beautiful clean almond milk. However the scent goes away very quick. I was still going to purchase this but then learned L'Occitane is not cruelty free... so I will not be buying from them no more. :(

The bitter almond opening is ephemerous, as in any other perfume of this kind. The drydown smells nice, it smells familiar, like a generic body cream : a clean, envelopping buttery scent. It lasts well on clothes. I like it for what it is : an inoffensive and shy fragrance which makes you feel clean without smelling like a laundry product.

Okay My fiancé sniffed my hair, then actually buried his face in it, said it smelled really good. Okay fineeee I guess I'll have to put her on my repurchase list lol

UPDATE: it looks like L’Occitane may have discontinued this already?! 🤔 I bought this when it first came out (in the States). It’s true to L’Occitane’s Amande fragrance, which I like but wish was more almond and less floral (and less synthetic). Nonetheless, I think Amande fans will be pleased with this. This is sort of an interesting product because it’s not a typical fragrance, it’s actually a moisturizing spray. You’ll want to spray it directly on your skin and rub it in a little bit. But because of that, it sorta loses that re-application aspect unless I’m really careful to spray it on bare skin lol. I wish this was also available as an EdT.

I have not smelled the almond shower oil, or anything from the rest of the line, but the hype over the smell convinced me to blind buy this. Personally, it's not my favorite. It's a clean, semi-sweet almond fragrance. I can see why a lot of people do love this, but for me the almond doesn't feel balanced. I think I would need to pair this with a vanilla or sweeter gourmand fragrance to work, but I will probably be returning this anyways because it gave me a headache. I do really see the appeal though, and I think it's great for any season, and as a go to for bedtime or straight out of the shower.

I love the almond line, but this smells nothing like it. In the first few minutes, it’s super intense and a bit too musky, and then it just starts to disappear. For the price, I just don’t think it’s worth it and there are better ones out there.

I was so eager to try this scent! But it smells more like powder or baby powder than the almond scent I usually get from this line. It’s like the almond is there, but it feels more like a bitter almond hiding behind a powdery milk scent.

This is just not good. It doesn't have the same or even similar scent as the lotion or body oil or shower oil, which I absolutely love. And that's fine if the idea was to create slightly different scents (like mini flankers) for different products across this line so they compliment each other and of course encourage people to buy the entire line. I use all of them, and my favourite scent is the body oil. To my nose, the body mist smells cheap dry cold and artificial, while the rest of the line feels warm luxurious and natural. Thankfully it does not last very long!

First impressions (full bottle): The beginning start remind me of cough syrup, like louvre serge lutens which I’m not a fan of, but as it dries down it smells like more of the l’occitane almond oil. Edit 1: Oh no, this smells too pungent according to my friends. This is too jasmine forward or alimony’s. It doesn’t smell like the L’occtans oil at all. That one is almondy clean, but this is too alimondy pungent. Kind of give sol de janeiro body spray, and Louvre? by serge lutens.

Wow. This might be the perfect wintertime fragrance. Warm and cozy without being cloying or too creamy. It's not plasticky or synthetic the way almond scents can be. I was a little afraid at first because of how sharply and bitterly this opens (it was a blind buy), but thankfully, 15 minutes into wear, it becomes the coziest almond-croissant scent. Picture this: it's a wintry but sunny Sunday morning in the French countryside and you're sitting watching the local baker make a fresh batch of almond paste that's about to be spread into croissant dough. I'm packing for the holidays with limited space, and to my own surprise, I am taking Brume Delicieuse Amande as my only fragrance for the next month straight: I can see this being totally pleasant for myself and others at holiday parties, on a NYE night out, for daytime shopping, brunches, lunches, dinners... it's absolutely versatile. Warm enough to read as "sexy" on a night out but light enough to wear around family or even coworkers in the daytime. And because it's a body spray, it doesn't read as trying too hard: projection and longevity on this are quite amazing for a body spray but it's still not as "much" as an EDP would be. Just perfect.

This is so disappointing - the products smell yummy but this bodyspray smells like chemicals. I love L'occitane Terre de Lumiere edp, which is a delicious almond, honey and lavender perfume but whatever modern aroma chemicals they've filled this body spray with have really spoilt what could have been a genuine delight. A surprising blind buy fail for me but happily I already have Lolita Lempicka Mon Petite, which is a lovely, musky, linden blossom and almond milk scent (edt and alcohol free versions are both good!). I also have the wonderful cheapie À L'Ombre des Amandiers by Jeanne en Provence - which I don't think smells like delicious almond outside of them both having almond in them - and that is a fabulous sweet and sheer iris, orange blossom and almond milk perfume. Both are much nicer than Brume Délicieuse Amande Imho!

Buyer beware-- the 2025 hair and body mist version of Brume Délicieuse Amande (a.k.a. Almond Delightful Mist) is a very different fragrance from the original, moisturizing, limited-edition version by the same name that was sold in fall 2023. I have a bottle of the 2023 moisturizing version. I brought this with me to L'Occitane today so I could test the new one side by side with the original one. The new one has a harsh cherry-almond /bitter almond note that is absent in the original. It does mellow over time but I just didn't care for it. Some folks didn't like the skin-feel of the original. This new one is specifically advertised as being non-sticky. It's simply a different product with a different scent. Test before buying.

This was my first impression, and I’ll admit the bottle had been sitting in my warm mailbox for a few hours before I tried it. I was too eager to wait, so I sprayed it immediately—and what I got was straight-up playdough. There were no transitions between notes, no evolution on the skin; just one continuous blast of playdough with a faint trace of marzipan. That flat profile lingered for the full two hours it lasted on me. What makes this especially disappointing is that I absolutely adore the body oil and body moisturizer in this same scent. On my skin, those smell like a creamy, warm bar of Dove soap—soft, clean, and comforting. I was hoping for that same effect in the fragrance, but instead, I was left underwhelmed.

the shower oil is one of my favorite scents, and this is definitely nottt the same scent as the shower oil. it's far muskier and the almond note is akin to cherry cough syrup. it's closer to the lotion scent, but i don't think it's a dead-ringer for the lotion either. this is harsher and less well-balanced. the sharper citrus notes and the harsh tonka are nauseating with that cherry-like almond and heliotrope combo. such a disappoint. i wanted this to work so badly because i love the oil and shower oil so much.

I love this fragrance! Sprayed right after a shower, it leaves a fresh, creamy almond scent on the skin. On the initial spray, sheer green notes take center stage, but as it dries down, the vanilla and musk begin to emerge. It has excellent projection on me and lasts throughout an entire workday, especially when I spray it on my clothes and in my hair. It's noticeable without being overwhelming, and it consistently earns me plenty of compliments. I like it so much, I got a backup bottle.

i got the reformulated version, i haven’t tried the old one unfortunately. i absolutely love the smell of this line and i will only be buying refils for my old products instead of new ones with the hideous packaging. this does smell different from the body oil tho idk if that’s because its a mist or because of the reformulation. it doesn’t smell bad or very different though. its just sweeter and more powdery. i like it🥰

Smells pretty similar to the shower gel, but I actually prefer this to it. It’s like a creamy almond musk, with that signature L’Occitane product dna. I wouldn’t say they’re identical though. And I’ve seen others compare it to a wet wipe scent, which I kinda agree with. Luckily my nose picks up on the vanilla and almond, making it super creamy, which makes it a love for me!

Even though it’s beautiful, I have to say it does not smell exactlt like the Almond line. Have been using the whole line for years now and this smells more bitter-almondy. Still great but anyone blind buying it to get the scent of the Almond line could be a bit disappointed, just fyi.

Unfortunately this is e x t r e m e l y powdery. If you're someone who likes gourmand scents, this not a safe blind buy. It's super perfumey and vintage.

More vanilla in this than the oil, lotion, body butter, scrub etc. it smells like vanilla baby powder with some freshness to it.

It smells like the body lotion of the range, not the shower oil. I wish so much there was a perfume that smells like the oil!
