Cèdre & Oranger

great scent ! so sad this perfume is for a limited time :/

Cèdre & Oranger opens with fleeting orange, bergamot and a blast of cardamom. The citrus notes are minor players in this perfume. After about 15 minutes, it relaxes into a beautiful blend of vetiver, pine, cedar and a touch of musk. It is well worth the wait. Cèdre & Oranger is one of the most truly unisex aromatics I've experienced. It does remind me of a man's skin about 45 minutes after a shower, when just a trace of scent remains. (I love that smell.) It remains skin close from beginning to end. I think it would be a good choice for a man wanting an easy perfume day (as a break from the heavy-hitters), or as a low-key out-to-dinner scent when you want to be considerate of your dinner companions. It would also be a good choice for a woman wanting a soft woody aromatic, as it is not overly pungent or herbal. Edit: I've sprayed about 7 sprays now for review purposes, and this does project after all. It is subtle, but I can detect a scent cloud around me.

I can smell the green-citrus of orange groves; verdant and summery grass; musky, woody, minty pine scrub. Despite the boring name, this unisex (not masculine as marketed) scent it actually a very nice buy that brings Floridian springtime to your doorstep. Good, so that I kept going back to sniff myself. Just my luck- I love how it smells freshly sprayed, but it gives me a headache when I wear it too long (though I think that might be more of a "me" thing, since that's happened more often with perfumes now). Oh well.

A light unisex fragrance for cedar lovers. It's quite simple but not primitive: you get a cedar in the begininning - and the same clean note in two hours. It is atmospheric, has breeze in it, not plain. Good for spring / summer and for a warm skin. I'm used to carry small pieces of red cedar's (Juniperus virginiana) bark, just for aromatherapy. Maybe it's worth to search for a pure essence / oil, as it's usually the fragrance of pure materials which catches our noses, while choosing the perfume.

I know it's for men, I couldn't resist testing it! I must say I quite enjoy this one. One of the better 2013 creations by L'Occitane. I am sure I would have loved it in the summer - it's got a cooling effect. It must be the pine and cardamon that give this cedar fragrance a minty vibe. It's Tam Dao's cousin from far north ;)

My fave L’Occitane men’s fragrance. It’s crisp, sharp, overtly masculine but not loud and not screechy. Longevity is a real bummer, though, which keeps it on the shelf over other similar frags from similar dna from niche brands.

Good but i think they stopped short with this. Light,good summer choice. If i had a complaint it would be poor longevity.But I accept this because the ingredients are natural and citrus is always short lived anyway .

A typical citrus masculine cologne scent, but a notch above the average male frags out there. Citrusy, lightly woody with that aftershave/aquatic note. Would have thought it's a greenish-blue scent.

Took me a while to realise Cedre & Oranger was originally created for men. It's this refreshing green paradise on my skin, a mix of forest scents with a hint of citrus. It is just perfect. I love the smell of freshly cut grass, leaf buds in springtime, pine trees, cedar, etc... So no wonder I'm drawn to Cedre & Oranger. I did feel that it was less girly than the rest of my collection, but actually would have never guessed it was for men until I saw the title here on Fragrantica.

I have the tiniest bit left in my bottle, and I'm keeping it to scent to try and find a replacement! This is the perfect fresh masculine leaning scent that works unisex. It's refreshing, but there is a clean woody scent that lingers. SUPER flattering, wish they kept making this range of fragrances, it featured a few of my all time favourites for every day wear!

So sad they discontinued this! I worked there for a bit and it was my favorite in the store, by far. I'm a woman and would wear it, because I loved it so much. I would say it comes off as a light spice than a "wood" note. Never had an issue with longevity. Bought a bottle for myself and tested in the Texas sun even, so that should say something.

A nice, fresh, woody citrus that I am sure had mass appeal as there is nothing strong or offensive about this. A crisp and citrusy summer scent that I think leans masculine but could be easily worn by anyone wanting to smell of the given notes. A light body scent that doesn't last long but some people want it that way. :)

Its not the most amazing but it is very good indeed, stars with a fresh orange and cedar notes but the citrus of the orange fades away fast, but good quality base notes on this fragrance, I think is unisex, no problem at all who has it on.....

It's a very addictive fragrance. I keep craving it. Soft but very high impact
