This just about resembles the OG Eau des Baux. But only barely. If you love the original get yourself a bottle asap ‘cos this stuff ain’t it. Poor performance and longevity. Loses any warmth and uniqueness the OG had. Why L’Occitane ? 5/10.

I still own old bottles of Eau des Baux and this doesn't hold a candle to the original. It's so much more watered down. Such an utter shame. This was my signature scent for years and even after I got more into perfume, I kept buying this. First I saw them sizing down the bottle to 75ml (keeping the same price) and it seemed like they had tinkered with the formula ever so slightly. Perhaps not as smooth and beast mode longevity, but essentially the same. But now with the rebranding and new 50ml the changes are very apparent. Again, the formula pales in comparison and the reduction of the bottle size BY HALF while keeping the price the same is outrageous. It pains me so much to say this because Eau des Baux has been my favourite affordable perfume for almost 15 years, but I won't be purchasing it any longer. I hope L'Occitane come to their senses and bring the original back.

This is exactly the same as the original, super gas. I actually prefer this bottle over the old one even though it’s more generic. Wish they sold it in 100ml bottles though instead of these tiny 50ml bottles, super over priced at nearly 2$ per ml.

I’ve tried the new version last month it was like the old one I didn’t notice any difference as I remember but they reduced the amount to 50ml with same price maybe a little more ... what a shame !

definitely unisex in my opinion; doesn’t feel overpoweringly masculine. super beautiful for layering. goated af

A fresher version of eau des baux... amazing!!
