Cerisier Rouge Eau Intense

Between my green fresh citruses and my oriental spices, summertime sometimes requires a sweet and fruity tone. This perfume hits this spot perfectly. Zesty, fruity, yummy and happy, yet the sweetness is tamed by some flowery and fresh undertone. I will even say it reminds me somehow of the tomato leaves background in Nina Ricci's "Les Belles" (a long lost favourite). Main notes are cherry and raspberry as noted, and I detect quite a lot of blackcurrant as well. Also notable - green and citrusy notes. Longevity is very good (could still smell it after showering), and sillage is moderate (an advantage in warm weather).

I loved this. I would jump at the chance to buy this again. I got so many complements when I was wearing it (more so than any other fragrance). A fresh, oriental fragrance that is not overly feminine or girly, despite the sweet floral notes. I do hope this is bought back one day.

Really lovely. It's a red juicy cherry. Fresh, joyful and sparkling. It makes me think of Fleur de Cerisier - Berdoues which is fresh and fruity too. Correct lasting power, a little bit too expensive to me (I would like L'Occitane to make 30ml bottles). Nice idea for a gift.

Fell instantly in love with this perfume when I saw it in stores on 1/27! I've always been a fan of L'Occitane's Cherry Blossom perfume and Cerisier Rouge is a sweeter version of Cherry Blossom. It is a very darling scent which reminds you of love. PERFECT.

My favorite perfume ever, I've looked for it for years. Will always be a nostalgic smell. It is regal but still playful and girly. edit: i got a bottle of her off ebay c: i cried smelling it out of the atomizer!!

This is freshly washed cherries in a bowl! Just a great, not too sweet scent that pleases the senses. It has a natural smelling quality to it with the combination of other fruits and a hint of musk.Sparkling

I was looking for "THE" cherry scent and although I like the Guerlain La Petite Robe noire, I was looking for a softer version. I did not like the other Cerisier version of Occitane, that one is not bad but it is too "mellow" for me, something is missing there so that I did not buy it finally. And then they launched this version and I am so happy that they did because this Cerisier Rouge has it all : it is a strange contradiction long-lasting yet light scent. The initial phase is a glorious burst of lemon, orange without giving this perfume a "cologne" character. Then follows the incredible "juicy" blackcurrant and raspberry notes and before they can turn into horrible sweet jam, they get attuned by wild lily of the valley, which in my case is giving a lot of depth in the middle tones of the perfume, complimented by red cherry. It is not easy to make a balanced fruity/floral : most of the time it is either too sweet, too sour or not sweet enough or too floral and I think Karine Dubreuil, the actual master perfumer of Occitane succeeded to blend everything together into an extremely pleasing perfume which is at once bright, sparkling, delicate, and feminine at the same time. I regret they don't have yet the big bottle of 100 ml because I could personally bath in it for hours :-) The quality is incredible, don't get misled by the naming of "Eau", it has the concentration and longevity of a typical EDP floral perfume you find everywhere. It lasted on my skin more than 6 hours and I sniffed constantly my wrists.. Highly recommended !

This perfume is exactly what I expect from L'Occitane. The bottle design is true their brand. It exemplifies natural, simple beauty. I have never found fault with the quality of L'Occitane products, and this product is no exception. The smell itself is something sweet, tangy, and refreshing--fruit-like with a sharpness that gives it edge and makes it specific. The smell lasted all day. It is uplifting and heavy at the same time. It is sharp, sweet, and delicate, which lifts the spirits. Yet also it is heated and aromatic, with hints of syrupy cherries and raspberries that soothe and mellow the soul. It is an easy perfume to like, many people compliment this fragrance, yet it does not lack in some interest because of it's wide acceptability. While it is a rich, playful fragrance, it lacks in maturity. It's biggest fault (or greatest virtue) is that it is does not provoke seriousness but fun.

It's described by the SA as the EDP version of my beloved Cherry Blossom fragrance from L'Occitane en Provence. It's stronger and longer lasting. Well, I think, except for the name, it doesn't really like Cherry Blossom - more the cherry fruit. It's the juicy fresh sweet red cherry and additional berry. This makes my mouth water lol.. I like it. But I love my Cherry Blossom more.

I was so disappointed when I tried this. The assistant said if you love Cherry Blossom you will love this. Well I find Cherry Blossom fairly meh and this offering is double meh - I can barely tell the difference between the two fragrances. If you're going to bring out a limited edition then at least bring out something different. Wish I had stockpiled Cherry Princess when I had the chance... I think L'occitane has lost its mojo. They used to carry some wonderful unique fragrances but there is nothig that they are selling right now that falls into that category really.

Very nice fragrance dominated by the smell of cherry. It's moderately sweet. On my skin it becomes an unusual combination of sweetness and cleanliness, feels more like a scented shower gel rather than a perfume. Reminds me of Nina Ricci's Nina collection, only a fainter version - so if you find Nina yummy but too overpowering, this bottle might be the better choice for you. Longevity is great, sprayed myself before I went to sleep and the scent was still on me the next morning.

I'm a guy and I wanted to wear a cherry fragrance so I went to the l'occitane shop in my country and bought this wonderful fragrance. I've got many complements from my colleagues after one hour of wearing it. And my brother told me it smells like fresh shampoo very clean. I really like this fragrance and enjoy of smelling it.

Beautiful smell love it, it's my signature scent. It's fruity and a tad bit sweet with a zingy tangy touch to it. It gives it a fresher feeling to a sweet fruity scent compares to other. My mum brought me the 30ml back in secondary school and 6 years later I've finally hit the 80ml, I wish they had a 100ml mind you.

This remains among my top five favorite fragrances. Beautiful, dignified cherry scent, with a musky base. I am so disappointed it has already been discontinued, but this seems to be L'Occitane's course of action.

This is saved from being overly sweet by a musky yet clean undertone. Maybe a little too much musk? Maybe not.... I haven't quite made up my mind about this yet, but it's promising. And the bottle is lovely.

It's childish to me :/ Actually I had a toy troll that was supposed to be cherry scented and it smelled just like this.. it has a kind of plastic note that's quite musky and tame

Such a wonderful bottle. Almost as i fall in love with the bottle :P The notes sounds good too. Will defenitly buy this when it comes out.

Smells just like Bassett's Cherry Drops! Which is very lovely, but I find it rather weak.
