Karite Bebe

This is lovely. It's like a sweeter version of Eau de Cologne, lots of orange blossom. It don't find it "baby-like" at all but it would be suitable for a younger child if you were looking for gifts. Just as great for adults. It doesn't seem to be very long-lasting, perhaps because it's water-based? I'd love an oil or balm-based version of this. As a water-based perfume, it feels a bit more like a refresher spray, like a rosewater spritz, though it's a bit more strongly scented.

I love the smell of the soaps and hand creams from L’Occitane, and this smells like their Shea Milk soap mixed with baby wipes. I’m a fan of baby hygiene product smells, so this one’s a WIN! The projection is terrible though. My fiancé can only smell it if he leans his head very close to me. LAME! I imagine because it’s a “fragranced water” it’s a super low concentration, so it might not be worth your money but it’s a great smell though!

Such a lovely scent! So gentle. I love how are the ingredients nicely blended together.

Doesn't last long, and is very faint, but it smells like the sun on linen. Love it.

Karite Bebe has arrived to L'Occitane store right next to my office. As expected, it is such a nice, pleasant fragrance. It doesn't really smell like babies, and I certainly wouldn't dare spray this on a very young child's skin, regardless of what it says on the label (hypoallergenic, all-natural, yada yada yada). This is aimed at grown-ups who need a soft, not too soapy, mild floral fragrance. The first phase of Karite Bebe is quite citrusy, with neroli and orange blossom initially being the most prominent notes. As it develops on the skin, other (floral) notes emerge, namely mimosa and linden blossom. It projects softly and doesn't last long, which means it will work best during the scorching summer months.
