Lavande Blanche

I visited our area's L'Occitane store the other day with my older daughter who has recently taken a shine to their products. I was there to pick up a small order and to sample some of their other scents that I am not familiar with. DD applied this scent and I sniffed it and immediately fell in love with it. I dislike lavender and would never have tried this on my own so I'm so happy that she did. It totally reminds me of Noa. It was the first thought that came to mind and when I checked Fragrantica I saw that I am not alone. I don't get any lavender here thankfully. Just warm and cozy powdery goodness. This has gone straight to my want list. Update 4/24 - My very darling daughter who had accompanied me to the L'Occitane shop back in the winter bought this for me as a gift and I'm absolutely loving it. It has citrus in the head notes, unlike Noa which I wear mainly in the winter, and thus feels very appropriate for spring.

This is honestly my favourite scent ever. It opens with a very strong, almost citrusy aroma that is both bright and floral. As it settles on the skin, it transforms into the most beautiful powdery lavender. Typically, I think that lavender notes are herbal-ish at their best and reminiscent of detergent at their worst, but Lavande Blanche perfectly captures the softness and mildness of a dried lavender bouquet. When I smell it, I feel like I’ve just stepped out of the shower on a warm spring day and am ready to head to the farmer's market.

It's definitely not a " lavender toilet spray" smell. It's very subtle, gentle, calm, clean, fresh, inoffensive scent. As some people said earlier, it's more like a body spray or a pillow spray. By the way it's one of my "go to bed perfumes" I also wanted to say this is how I imagine expensive hotel bed sheets smell, but I actually think they can't smell anything at all because they have to be hypoallergenic, but you get the idea

This edition is soft and clean, I can't detect the rose and citrus notes. It's so light and faint but it leaves a trail ,I love it !

I use it to go to the gym. Clean, elegant, soft, pleasant.
