Lavande Blanche

I visited our area's L'Occitane store the other day with my older daughter who has recently taken a shine to their products. I was there to pick up a small order and to sample some of their other scents that I am not familiar with. DD applied this scent and I sniffed it and immediately fell in love with it. I dislike lavender and would never have tried this on my own so I'm so happy that she did. It totally reminds me of Noa. It was the first thought that came to mind and when I checked Fragrantica I saw that I am not alone. I don't get any lavender here thankfully. Just warm and cozy powdery goodness. This has gone straight to my want list. Update 4/24 - My very darling daughter who had accompanied me to the L'Occitane shop back in the winter bought this for me as a gift and I'm absolutely loving it. It has citrus in the head notes, unlike Noa which I wear mainly in the winter, and thus feels very appropriate for spring.

This is honestly my favourite scent ever. It opens with a very strong, almost citrusy aroma that is both bright and floral. As it settles on the skin, it transforms into the most beautiful powdery lavender. Typically, I think that lavender notes are herbal-ish at their best and reminiscent of detergent at their worst, but Lavande Blanche perfectly captures the softness and mildness of a dried lavender bouquet. When I smell it, I feel like I’ve just stepped out of the shower on a warm spring day and am ready to head to the farmer's market.

It's definitely not a " lavender toilet spray" smell. It's very subtle, gentle, calm, clean, fresh, inoffensive scent. As some people said earlier, it's more like a body spray or a pillow spray. By the way it's one of my "go to bed perfumes" I also wanted to say this is how I imagine expensive hotel bed sheets smell, but I actually think they can't smell anything at all because they have to be hypoallergenic, but you get the idea

This edition is soft and clean, I can't detect the rose and citrus notes. It's so light and faint but it leaves a trail ,I love it !

I use it to go to the gym. Clean, elegant, soft, pleasant.

Lavande Blanche is rather zesty and zingy bergamot with sparkling fresh blackcurrant on a musky base than anything else, so, of course, if you expect to smell lavender here you will be disappointed (try their Lavande Eau de Cologne which is calm, relaxing, bedtime scent). This one somehow does something to my salivary glands that my mouth watered most of the time I tried, lol — the same effect as when you smell a nice cocktail. Very carefree, clean, and energising without being too fruity.

According to the website, the current formulation contains: Top Notes: Bergamot, Cedrat, Petitgrain Heart Notes: Blackcurrant, White Lavender, White Rose Base Notes: Cedarwood, White Musk, Sandalwood I mostly notice the rose, musk and a tiny bit of bergamot. It's very light and sits close to the skin. It's an inoffensive warm weather scent that is unisex and suitable for all ages.

A nice soapy fragrance but unfortunately dries down to a boring skin scent on me. I don’t think it smells like Noa, both smells like soap but completely different soaps. The name is misleading because it doesn’t smell like lavender at all. After a few hours this turned sweet on my skin and smelled really nice again.

This is not a straightforward lavender scent and some lavender enthusiasts might actually be disappointed in this one. The lavender stays politely in the background while the musk and citrus notes take center stage. All in all, this is a very refreshing fragrance that is ideal for hot and casual summer afternoons.

This smells very nice. It’s fresh and clean with a touch of citrusy sweetness. It’s pleasant and relaxing. Almost like smelling the washed clothes dry in the sun. Safe blind buy and great for summer.

I can see the comparison to Dawn by Sarah Jessica Parker - it has that light no ethereal feel, but the drydown is definitely similar to Noa! It’s not quite as creamy, definitely not as strong and is lacking the coffee note, but it is definitely soapy and in that realm profile-wise. Super pretty and delicate. Not particularly original but still rather lovely!

i went to smell this today and was disappointed, top notes are very citrus forward to the point it almost smells a bit bitter and i’m going to be honest i didn’t smell any lavender, even after it dried down i could only smell musky citrus, which was actually very nice and clean but ultimately not worth it in my opinion.

I was looking forward to trying this but I am really disappointed. The lavender is very subtle, instead I mostly get musk. Smells like (a very pleasantly scented) fabric softener. And it is so ridiculously light - barely noticeable after 10 min...

Tested that one time and it's alright, but I don't really like it. No longevity whatsoever. It's just very herbal and smells like as if I just showered. For the record, I love shampooey or bath gel scents like that, but with so many other perfumes out there, this isn't standing out.

More like "White musk". Very light bergamot & citron, some sweetness. The lavender is only barely there. I see this as a feminine version of Dior Homme Cologne or Body Shop White Musk.

The nose is Nathalie Cetto. The notes are listed as Top: bergamot, citron, petitgrain Middle: white lavender, blackcurrant, white rose Base: cedar, white musk and sandalwood.

I thought this would be a safe blind buy, as I adore L'Occitane's fragrances. Personally, I find Lavande Blanche has a syrupy-cleaning scent. I just can't handle the sharpness of this citrus mixed with the floral musk in this one (and I love citrus and musk). I rarely wash fragrance off my skin, but this one was an exception.

Lavender is light and musky. This is light pretty water. I will purchase soon perfect for summer and spring. I am happy that Lavender is not as a main accord. Freshness and clean citrusy musk takes a lead and this is why its subtle. Its not perfume I would call it body spray and sleeping pillow spray...And I don't mind it I like and I need products like that near me.

NEW PACKAGING Just giving everyone a heads up - on October 1, 2025, L'Occitane globally relaunched this scent in new bottle as part of their reimagined and minimalist "Flora Orchestra" collection. The formula of the fragrance has not changed. Hope this helps!

This was such a surprise! Yes, not much lavender but this is beautiful. Light, clean, and yes very much like Noa without the coffee note. I think I might go back and buy this. I do hope L'occitane makes this into an edp concentration. Love.

Very clean, almost detergent-like musky lavender scent. Genderless. I would love that my home or bedding smells like this, but not sure that I will like to wear. Lavender is not very prominent and the perfume is not long lasting.

Fruity water, I would say mandarine orange, but not a hint of lavender, it may be a l’Occitane private joke or a commercial challenge, lavender without any lavender, and you sell it. Funny.

If only this lasted. This would be one of the greatest fragrances of all time to me. Absolutely gorgeous scent.

Beautiful citrusy opening. Softens to powdery musky floral, gone in about 3 hours.
