Pamplemousse Rhubarb

How lovely this fragrance was. Oh how I wish la occitaine would bring it back. The bottle was beautiful, a heavy glass. The label had a pretty peach and tiffany blue colored motif. The glass bottle was difficult to use because of the cylindrical shaped wide heavy glass, making spritzing awkward. It opened with a citrusy rhubarb grapefruit and dries down to a warm slightly sweet musk. So unique, and had good sillage. Stayed on your clothing and skin for hours. Sigh. 😢 Update: So this beautiful scent has been revived by La Occitane as of late 2024. Sadly, this scent is only available in certain markets and unavailable in the U.S. I was able to get a hold of a bottle of the revival version and it's just as beautiful as ever. To my nose, no reformulation was done 😄 ♥️

I am in the Dallas airport and I just bought this. I sprayed it, walked around a bit and had to have it! It is probably more appropriate for summer, but it's almost 80 degrees in Texas at the moment. This has a light and sweet-citrusy smell. I love it! I don't have any other fragrances that smell like this and it's a limited edition, so I am glad I picked it up while I could! It's yummy!

It’s like the freshest grapefruit ever! Pure citrus joy, I love it however its quite simple/linear so I add another fragrance with it to add complexity. And oh yes what a terrible atomizer! Keeps coming off and not working in between.

i love this perfume. so good and fresh, and i always get compliments on it! sadly it just doesnt last long at all:(

gorgeous citrus with poor sillage and longevity...real shame

I received a sample of Pamplemousse Rhubarb body lotion and fell in love. Amazing smell! Couldn't stop sniffing it! Decided to buy a perfume, tried it and got disappointed - it didn't have a charm of lotion smell. So I ended up buying lotion and using it as a perfume. :) About smell overall: it' light sweet, tart with a hint of bitter.

Refreshing and pleasant, I like to spray it on myself and on my bed sheets during warm summer nights.

I tested this at the L'Occitane store yesterday, and liked it enough to buy a set to share with my husband, who also enjoyed it. Initially I was uninterested in trying it due to the mention here of a musk note. However, musk is not included in the notes printed on the paper testing cone at the store, nor do I smell musk when wearing it. This is what the cone had printed on it: top notes: Rhubarb, Grapefruit, Lemon, Cypress heart notes: Clove, Nutmeg, Lavender base notes: Cedar, Vetiver If you are a grapefruit fan, give it a try. :) 4/14/2024; Edited to add: Ultimately the spices in this didn't work for me, so if you need a bottle, message me! I have an opened, barely used one and also an unopened backup bottle.

This is very nice and luscious. The rhubarb adds a sweet and juicy edge to the grapefruit to round it out. But if you already have Guerlain Pamplelune, I think the purchase would be redundant, as you can find many of the same facets.

This is an "Eau de Cologne" inspired fragrance. The grapefruit is the star here and rhubarb just provides more tartness as support. It reminds me of Tom Ford's Neroli Portofino if anyone wonders how this smells like.
