Rose Citron Meyer

I bought this after visiting the L'Occitane store multiple times to give it a sniff. I also got the accompanying body wash and lotion amd they are divine! I'm a huge citrus fan and the Verbena EDT is one of my favourites but it sadly does not last. This one us an improvement, especially when coupled with the lotion. The lemon is the most prominent note with the rose in the background. I liken this one to a more subtle version of Elie Saab Girl of Now Forever but more lemon and less rose. It also gives me Lancome Idole vibes but again, more lemon and less rose. Really happy with this. I think the rose and sandalwood give it more longevity than other L'Occitane fragrances and for summer this is absolutely perfect. I would highly recommend getting the gift set and/or lotion.

absolutely gorgeous. smells like being in love

Sparkling, fresh, and joyfully unexpected this one holds a special memory for me. I picked it up during my Turkey trip and wore it through the crisp winter air in Istanbul. Traditionally, winter calls for deeper, spicier scents... but inspired by a dear friend’s advice, I decided to go against the grain and wear this bright, citrusy rose instead. And honestly? It felt rebellious in the best way. The zesty lemon gives a burst of sunshine, like golden light cutting through a grey sky. The rose is soft and elegant, not powdery .. more like a freshly plucked bloom. The musk grounds it just enough, keeping it clean and delicate. Wearing something this light in the cold felt refreshing, like I was wrapping myself in a shimmer instead of a blanket. It made the whole experience of winter travel feel brighter, more playful. Photorealistic rose, and prominent citrus.

This should have been released in early summer so refreshing and "awakening" , it's like being snoozy then take a dip in a slushy bath with fresh big lemons slices and rose petals floating around.. The citrus and rose are racing to show up first , citrus wins the first 15 minutes then just gives up to rose to cross the finish line and sets into a casual plain aquatic rosy scent .. Not into the drydown but the top notes are worth a bottle right after a morning shower when u need a wakeup slap in the nose lol Longevity is ok , projection is poor u have to dig your nose in to smell

I used to mix Sicilian lemon and Persian rose perfumes by Pacifica, which I procured in the 2010s from a health food shop. Not sure if they're available anymore, but that combo was so beautiful for summer. I want to try this to see if I can recapture that smell; but the Valentino and perfumer's workshop comparisons give me doubts... The bottle is luxe, and I've always loved l'occitane brand. We'll see if it's available in my area I'll try it.

I tested it and immediately fell in love. What a genius combination - fresh citrus opening slowly evolving into rose. Simple but unexpected. It stays rather close to the skin. Reminds me of a rose lemonade or sorbet but not in a predictable way. At the same time it is rosy but not too serious.
