Roses et Reines Jardin Secret

The most gorgeous natural smelling fresh rose. Nothing added, nothing taken. A beauty with minimal silage and moderate lasting power . Highly recommended to rose lovers !

I'm wearing it atm, sprayed a generous amount from a tester. I can smell a hint of it now after more than 5 hours if I stick my nose on my hand. Anyway I'm not crazy about this one. It's rosey, dewy and green in the opening, very similar to latest Rose et Reines, but diluted and lighter. Nice enough but really nothing special and not worthy a purchase if you still own some of the regular rose line. There is a screachy edge in the opening that fades away soon. NO real magnolia nor black tea. I had an impression that L'Occitane is not working very hard on their scents.

Light, natural and airy tea rose. It's juicy, fresh and young in feeling, like dewy petals in early morning. The base is soft white musc and cedar. It's a very lovely rose soliflore and for an EDT the longevity is decent. To my nose it is very, very similar to Roses de Chloe, in fact it was hard for me to tell the difference between the two. So, if you like this type of scent I suggest trying l'occitane as it is much cheaper than Chloe and you get the same effect.

The sales woman told me this has a pepper note (which I was saying generally I don’t like but if I sit thru it, it calms down). I was surprised because usually I smell pink pepper right away (in other perfumes) and I smelled nothing here but I did only test in the air and on paper. It smells nice.
