Agua de Loewe Ella

First test,it was all about citrus,I could just say,meh,not bad,but nothing special or lovely for me But I never give up easily on any fragrance,second test,it opens as citrus dominated as I remembered,very fresh lemon,bergamot,orange etc..but I also can detect lovely floral notes beneath lemon juice,it's difficult to put finger on specific notes but I can see there is my beloved rose among them,there is also something deliciously spicy here but not very dominant,I'm very happy to detect paprika,it's differant from usual pepper notes,not powdery like black and pink pepper,I really love it Ella is great for hot days,it's a real fresh summery scent,one of few citrus fragrances that I love... light floral notes give a feminin touch to spicy citrus and the combination of all these notes is unique..also very good longevity and sillage for such a summery fragrance Ella is moved to my very very long wish list,another excellant job from loewe

This review is for Loewe Agua Ella— not to be confused with the Solo Ella (which I did at first and was not getting any of the notes listed.) This is a crisp, clean, lemon citrus scent. The opening is just on the right side of being sharply citrus, so much lemon! As it dries down, the lemon softens considerably with notes I can’t discern, but it rounds out nicely. I put it on five or so hours ago and it’s not projecting really, but I can still smell it about a foot away. This is going to be a great summer scent, and I think then I will likely find some more of the listed notes. I got the older triangle shaped bottle and I am shocked how much scent is still there, happy I got the 5 Oz bottle. This is a lot like Dolce and Gabbana’s Light Blue, but without the bounciness and sparkle. Ella is more straightforward, and a smooth blend. Well done, Loewe!

This is so lovely on my skin. I can't pick out individual notes, but it is light, soft, citrusy, natural smelling, and very pleasant. Nice choice for work. A patient and a coworker each told me I smelled good the first time that I wore this. I live in a very dry climate and my skin eats up fragrances in no time, so it doesn't last long on me, but this isn't super important to me since hardly any scents last on my skin and I don't mind reapplying it after lunch. Great addition to my scent collection.

An amazingly citrusy, lightweight and floral scent, that screams summer and holidays in the south. Fresh, clean, elegant, feminine but not sweet. Perfect for hot summer days and days when you just need a little splash of energy and happy vibes.

Ella opens up with a citrusy note, then transition into light floral that gives a feminine touch. I like the clean and fresh aesthetics of this fragrance. I'd say... it's a mood lifter! The dry down is magnificent. Definitely great for a hot day. I normally use this perfume when I feel like I'm gonna sweat a lot for the rest of the day. Lasting power is good considering it is EDT. Can we also talk about the bottle packaging? I'm really fond of the effortless design of this translucent glass block-shaped flask. I feel like I need to get all the colors just for aesthetic purposes.Haha. Is this safe as a blind buy? Totally! Anyways... You might disagree with me, but this scent really reminds me of Eclat d'Arpege perfume by Lanvin! It's probably from the lemon and cedar notes.

this perfume reminds me alot to Frey, a man perfume from Oriflame, and I try both in my different hands, first spread both smell oranges sour & sweet so strong, musk and flowers. 30 minutes left the Loewe staying on her masculine smell , sweet oranges musk with a little rose, a very little lily and noticed water lily and the Frey staying with his not too sour but not to sweet oranges, undetect flowers and feminine musk. This is funny, because Loewe's for her and Frey's for him. :D but the freshener from Loewe's more expensive smell, sweeter, and last longer than Frey. I choose Loewe than Frey.

It is gorgeous for summer. Watery, fruity. Like morning dew refreshing garden flowers. The beginning is subtle. Citrus is represented by lemon and zesty bergamot. Heart radiates water lily. Background is delicately present thanks to cedar. I think rose is also detectable, and musk and sandalwood but a drop. The watery notes remind me of L'Eau d'Issey Pure. Agua Ella is gentler and more floral in comparison. It wears very well and is around me many hours. I'm not the biggest fan of the ozonic drydown this year.

it starts off citrusy with lemon but in a few seconds it turns sweet with a bit of praline note, there is an discreet scent of red pepper that is spicy with a sweet nuance, with Day lily barely can detect rose it's elusive of course we got sandalwood dry as usual with watery musk with a sweet tinge. Ella is a girl that every boy wants to take home to his parents because she's a non safe non threatening plane jane of a scent that can be worn anywhere and doesn't make people gag.

When I was trying this perfume in Spain, to me it seemed to be rich of elegant lily and cedar notes which I like. However, when I bought it back home the fragrance was smelling differently, it was all about zest with no smell of flowers. Despite of my disappointment I still like this smell,it's kinda of luxury fresh style.

What a great surprise! Beautiful, translucent, light and feminine. A hint of fruity sweetness, beautiful flowers in the wind. Light, sun, air. Incredibly long-lasting on me, which is very rare for such a light, translucent scent.

A bit too sultry on my skin, even if it is described as fresh one. Lily is very noticeable, and can't smell any paprika. Nice spring & summer fragrance for lily lovers. Update: With time it is much better than at the beginning.

Absolutely in love with it! I wouldn't say that it's for everyone, it has this weird citrusy-woody-flowery combination that's somehow captivating and isn't annoying at all. I also get compliments for that, so it's a win :)

Generic body splash. I blind-bought this as a substitute for Aire, which I can't get where I live. Unfortunately, it's not nearly as good. Nothing objectionable, but nothing worth the money, either. Reminds me of a 4711 or other body splash/after-shave cologne.

Light and fresh, but peppery fragrance. The most noticeable notes in this fragrance are the lemon note, the bergamot note and the pepper note. Floral and woody notes are also noticeable. Because of the bergamot note the citrusy freshness in this fragrance reminds me the other fragrance by Loewe - A Mi Aire. Only I prefer this one, because citrusy freshness in A Mi Aire after the opening starts to smells also something a little bit chemical, maybe it's the musk note in the base smells this way. And because of the lemon and the pepper notes this fragrance reminds me Chance by Chanel, which I just can't stand because it seems to me smelling cheap. So I even surprised that I like Agua de Loewe Ella. Maybe because these notes in combination with the other notes in it seems more nice to my nose, especially I like the citrusy freshness. And luckily there is no hyacinth note here, that I don't like in Chance a lot. I like the citrusy freshness and the lightness of this fragrance. It even makes my mood better. Only, as not a fan of the pepper note, this note seems to me annoying sometimes in this fragrance. But I rather like this fragrance than don't. The lasting power is good.

The drydown of this fragance is incredible. Its feminine, but in a differente way. Envolves you. It ́s citrusy, but that ́s not what complain your attention. Not even the rose. It ́s somenthing else. Maybe all the notes together. It ́s really mediterranean. For women who like to be different.

It is such a clean, lovely summer scent. I tested this one in the store and I loved it. It has super fresh, clean scent that makes me happy even to think about. It's nothing extraordinary but if you like clean fresh scents that is not going to offend anyone, give this one a try.

The opening is very, very citrusy and almost sour. Then floral and woody notes come through and make the composition more balanced. I'd like it even better if the lemon note was more muted/better blended, but for those who are into citrusy fragrances it might be just right.

Citrusy and very masculine. Can be easily compared to Insence de Givenchy.
