Agua Drop

I fell in love at first sniff. Ugh! It smells so good! It is fresh, citrusy, I notice almost a baby scent that I love so much! In my opinion, it is so unique and sophisticated, THE clean girl scent 🫧 It is that kind of perfumes that not bother anyone, perfect for any occasion. It is on my spring-summer wishlist, and I cannot wait to buy it. I love Loewe perfumes so much!!

How this is less than 4 average review is beyond me. Lots of bergamot, but it's far from being the only note. Getting lots of nice pepper in the drydown. It's better than Dior Homme Cologne in terms of value for money, and better than other top citrus fragrances like Chanel AHEB in terms of longevity

Cheaper, longer lasting and better smelling than Dior Homme Cologne. More lemony in the opening and more floral in the drydown. Awesome for the summer or hot spring days. Perfectly unisex. Buying a full bottle soon.

LOVE this fragrance it is a 10/10. Super unique and fresh. Lasts all day on clothes, 2-3 hours projection, 6/7 hours on skin scent. Crazy florals, citrus peel, crisp.

Agua Drop stars a bright, linear citrus. You get the whole gang: grapefruit, bergamot, neroli, but drawn in sharp lines and sketched with a glass-dipped nib. It’s crisp. It’s shower-fresh. It’s the sun refracted off polished tiles at noon. This is your cleanest self, ironed and laundered, grapefruit pith and neroli flower not candied or creamy but aerated. Citrus in its most classical cologne framework. Familiar. Functional. Elegant, just. There is, however, a touch of something else. A shy spark, a different bloom underneath the citrus fanfare. The absinthe accord, most likely. Not enough to sway the structure, but enough to make you look twice. The softest whisper of anise, maybe fennel water left behind on a marble cutting board. Nothing loud. Nothing sweet. You might not even notice it unless you’re looking for a reason to be intrigued. The “Loewe accord” is just warmth. A sheer skin-musk finish. A human quality tucked under the crisp edges. Like a body under the robe. Cozy, yes, but the kind of cozy that feels showroom. Smells like one too. I’ll be so completely honest—it's basic. Doesn’t attempt anything wild. Compositionally, this is a scent you’ve met many times before. And yet. The ingredients, though, are beautiful. You can tell. The citrus oils are bright and vivid, the musks are smooth as a cloudless sky. The whole thing is so clean, so quietly self-assured, it almost becomes emotional in its restraint. Still, no sugarcoating. The price asks for poetry where there’s only precision. This is very good. But that’s it. Just very good. Not art, but very fine architecture.

Loewe Agua Drop feels like one of those quiet moments you don’t plan, but end up remembering. It’s soft, luminous, and completely effortless, one of those fragrances that doesn’t try to impress, yet stays with you. From the first seconds, there’s a gentle citrus glow, bright, but never sharp. It feels like sunlight filtered through something soft. Then the orange blossom and neroli start to unfold, and that’s where it really becomes addictive: airy, slightly floral, with that clean, almost comforting warmth that sits close to the skin. It actually reminds me of Azemour Les Orangers from Parfum d'Empire; they share that same Mediterranean light, that same orange blossom soul, but here everything is quieter, more intimate. Less about the landscape, more about the feeling. There’s a subtle warmth underneath, something soft and ambery, almost like fabric warmed by the sun, that keeps it from ever feeling too light or fleeting. It’s not a fragrance that announces itself. It just blends into you. Completely unisex, completely easy, and perfectly at home in spring and summer, this is the kind of scent you wear without thinking, and somehow, it always feels right.

Not sure how I feel about this. Smells like pure bergamot on my skin, with a slight hint of floral. Fresh, fruity, very citrusy. It's a nice scent and I do definitely like it, but I think it's an acquired taste that not everyone would want to smell like on the daily. Not a safe blind buy, I feel like it's definitely a hit or miss. I love it when I'm in the mood for it. Can be unisex, but on the feminine side. If you like citrus and bergamot and you usually reach for those kinda of scents, you'll probably like this. The longevity and sillage is alright, it's a good quality fragrance and I would say it's worth the price. Update: Just came home from the pub and I can still smell it very clearly on my skin even though I've been sitting in a room filled with cigarette smoke for six hours. I'm about to fall asleep but I feel like I need to let you all know that the longevity is crazy (on my skin).

Now I know what reminds me of. Escale a Portofino and 4711 and Neroli Portofino. I feel has more neroli than Escale being closer to Tom Ford's creation But still, it is very similar to Dior as well, a tad sweeter and more ambery. It lasts longer, which is great, Escale a Portofino was my first freshy favorite back in 2009, but it was fleeting in an instant. I had two dupes, great ones, from F.Mahora and Eden UK, both very long-lasting and still better than this new creation by Loewe. Nonetheless, Agua Drop is a good release.

Pleasant one! Reminds me very much Mandarin Carnival by Merchant de Venice 2013 and Chopard Bigarandia. There is no mandarin in this one, but lemon sounds quite like mandarin maybe bec there is an orange blossom here and they play together that way. P.S: I dont understand why the name is "Agua" and color of the bottle is blue. There is nothing blue or watery like in this scent. This is warm scent that should be yellow or orange colored.

I got a sample of this and the leaflet stated bergamot, vetiver and absynthe as notes. I think that is much more accurate than the notes listed on Fragrantica. Bergamot is definitely the main note but it is pefectly balanced by the others and the absynthe lends it a certain boozy quality that is quite rare. It's not heavy or sweet at all. Very refreshing and modern. Pefect for spring and summer daywear. I find this unisex.

I'm shocked this isn't labeled unisex? I personally wouldn't wear it as a woman but I think it's a super sophisticated men's fragrance - the leather background note makes it male appropriate while it's not too overwhelming for a softer fragrance profile. I don't find it as citrus-forward as something like light blue by DG, it's way more of a fresh unisex scent.

Loewe is great, they have pretty good ones. This appears to be the classic bergamot, lemon, grapefruit, and other citrus plus neroli, however has an addictive quality. Smells like I found myself enjoying it so much. And the drawdown is warm and very seductive.

Sophisticated, clean, light, slightly sweet and fresh. It can be unisex, but it leans to female more for me. Love it.

sharp, fresh and fizzy; reminiscent of lemon sherbet sweets, but not too sugary or immature. however, it does err a little too far into cleaning product category - citrus scents can smell like bathroom cleaner to my nose. the longevity and sillage are decent, especially for such a scent profile that tends to be fleeting. it's okay, nothing groundbreaking, and not for me 5.5/10

It's an ok daily summer scent. Bright citrusy opening with bergamot and orange blossom. Not much more to say

They named it Agua Drop but forgot the “agua.” What you actually get is vetiver, absinthe, and labdanum, three notes so dry they could start a brush fire. The bergamot tries, briefly, but it dies faster than your date’s attraction after they smell that you’re wearing this. There’s nothing watery about this. No fluidity, no sparkle, no life. It’s screechy, closed-off, and brutally dehydrated. Yet somehow, it’s being marketed as “dew drops on wildflowers.” 🙄 And that mysterious “Loewe accord”? You mean they slapped a trademark on labdanum and prayed nobody would notice? Then, because chaos apparently needed a plus-one, they added a “for her” label. As if. This is definitely masculine, but not in a sexy way. More like “don’t touch me, I’m posing as an edgy sigma male meditating on a rock about nothing.” Cold. Detached. Terminally self-serious. And honestly, I think most men would pass on it too. I appreciate well-executed masculinity, and I don’t mind androgyny one bit. But this? Just dull. And overpriced. 💧❌ 1/5.

got a sample of this. 4/10 the bergamote in the beginning is too strong, it shifts to a synthetic lemon based cleaner smell and then it becomes creamy -- kinda like a lemon pudding with the smallest drop of vanilla in it. didn't last long on my skin. at max 1.5hrs it might be nicer to someone who really likes citrus notes

This is citrus, citrus, citrus. The biggest surprise is the longevity - citrus notes are usually the first to disappear, but here they’re embedded into the full composition and actually stay till the end of the show. I’m not sure what is "aqua" about this. I know aquatic profile very well, and this ain't it. If you set that aside, and take it at a face value - a bright, sharp, in-your-face citrus - you're good. The strong aromatic undercurrent actually helps to make it balanced and not smell like a toilet clearner, which is a danger with prominent citrus fragrance. It lasts, and it projects reasonably well, which already puts it ahead of most citrus-heavy scents. But this is not aquatic at all, just ignore that. Edit: A slight aquatic note showed up on the next day. Weird.

opens sharply acidic and bubbly, like a glass of tonic water with lemon. dries down to a faint, papery sweetness that lingers long after the citrus fades. feb 2026 update: this has gradually taken on more of an astringent green tea note & the staying power has vanished, which is more than a little upsetting. i wish i could go back to the way this fragrance performed last summer ):

This fragrance came as a surpise to me because I expected something different. I know Loewes "Agua" range and this doesn't strike me very fresh or aquatic. It's citrusy in the beginning and then quick turns into a very aromatic, woody/green and earthy leathery fragrance, that goes for women and men. It's quite strong but not very elegant in my opinion.

Loewe is generic?! They had a few releases that were common scents but they have many unique ones: The whole 7 line, most the Solo line, many of the Agua line. Those are like 10 fragrances at least from those 3 groups only. I haven't tried this & it might be generic but I wouldn't call Loewe "generic".

This smells 100% like bergamot. It smells like bergamot, fresh lemonade, lemon liquid soap. A fresh, pleasant scent, if you love citrus. It's a very basic one-note-only fragrance. Spending almost 150€ on Agua Drop is a huge scam. Being made only with a citrus note, it doesn't last at all.

It follows the Loewe s Agua line, I find it similar to Agua (the original) and It smells to New West for Her but in a light and more waterly cologne.

@AMajeedQT ignore the niche snobs. They label all designers as generic (even if the scent is pleasing).They are not to be taken seriously.

smelt extremely generic...no surprise considering it’s Loewe.

It smells almost identical to Neroli Amara. I love this DNA.
