Aire Sutileza Elixir

I was in Espana for a trip when Sutileza Elixir was released early to the department store El Corte Ingles. I bought a bottle for my dear friend, but decided to wait to buy my own bottle until I got home because I didn't want to put too many bottles of perfume in my suitcase. I bought mine from the Loewe website when I got home from my trip. I love everything about this fragrance. I never wore the original but I think the pear really elevates this elixir. It's fresh, feminine, pretty, and powerful. The longevity is incredible. I can spray it on in the morning and still smell it in the evening. The notes in this fragrance are all very common scents to the landscape of Spain - orange blossom, lemon, etc. I'm a huge fan.

Smelled this fragrance at the store today. It is really nice and calming. Sillage is fine, I did 4 sprays in the store and I got compliments from people walking past. After about 45 min it becomes closer to the skin and you are in a little scent bubble. Longevity is great so far. I spray around 13:00 and it was still in the bubble phase at 21:00. So around 8 hours, which I think is pretty great when you look at the notes. Fully gone at 10 hours. I would 100% buy this. 8/10 - It's safe and easy to wear. Not much going in terms of standing out. Perfect for the office or school.

I got a chance to try this perfume at the airport in Spain: it was love at first whiff. I ordered a bottle when I got back home. It now reminds me a lot of Chloe Love Story. Comparing the notes, I can see they share a lot of the same top notes, orange blossom in the middle and musk at the bottom. However I find Sutileza to be more fresh / bright / green while Love Story is more delicate and floral. I suspect the projection and silage will be poor to moderate at best, although it is exceptionally hot today. Would be a safe & inoffensive work fragrance

A floral fragrance that reminds me of a walk through a blooming park on a late spring day. To me, it’s slightly sweet, but the sweetness is so subtle that it’s not at all overwhelming. I think it’s an interesting fragrance for spring and summer in the city. In my view, it’s more of a women’s fragrance {I would rather buy it as a present for a female friend}, although I’d classify it as unisex. On my skin, the fragrance comes across as somewhere between barely perceptible and moderate. Longevity is rather average. Might have different performance on other's skin.

Citrus and pear are very noticeable on the start; shares fruity opening as the Original; but not as tart. White florals are fresh and airy, uncomplicated, a bit predictable. Has more body and clean feel vs rest of Loewe Aires. I wanted to love this; for me it wasn’t a wow, but a how nice. And that is not worth the price tag. Maybe when available at an off price retailer... 7.8/10

This is really pretty, an easy reach. The drydown is where is shines, it becomes a lovely, almost powdery floral vanilla. I’d say it’s a safe blind buy. Good for day time and warnmer weather.

I usually pick up notes very easily, but not with this one. It smells green, almost like ivy, but subtle and not aggressively green, nondescript fresh florals, and a bit fruity. Unisex, but leans feminine, imo. It's "nice" but lacks personality, imo. Performance is so-so(18°C). It lasts OK, but it doesn't project much. At £215 it's a hard pass for me bc I can do much better at this price range.

I'm very pleased and disappointed with this perfume at the same time. The blend of the elixir version is much smoother and pleasant. However, I do agree with the others that the longevity isn't better the original. The original has a stronger punch and longevity, but a bit one note. The elixir is good if you want something much smoother and intimate. I just bought both, the original and elixir, for my mother because they're both good and very pretty bottles. I'd love to see an elixir and modern version of Aire :)

The original Sutileza is one of my favourite perfumes that I keep on going back to in the summer. Despite his dire longevity it’s still the one I reach for. The elixir is advertised as the stronger, more lasting version of the Sutileza but is not. Similar DNA just as bad longevity. Still a lovely warm weather perfume with the fruity start that ends in a musky woody scent but it’s so fleeting.

I tested this in store and it took all my restraint not to purchase this. It is really beautiful. It is like the lovechild of Blue Talisman, Valaya, Tilia and Fleur Narcotique. I have all of those so I felt this was a bit redundant. If I can, however, find it for a bargain at a discounter, I’m all in.
