Esencia Elixir

Been aiming for a bottle for a while and finally got it. Esencia Elixir is released in 2023 and this Sabina bottle batch code is 01186390 which check fresh says is a 2018 production. Beats me and have no idea, I'll assume check fresh isn't accurate on Loewe codes. anyone else with such experience or knows more I would love to hear your share/opinions. Prior to this Elixir, I already have the lovely strong mossy Edp. Now Esencia Elixir opens lovely aventus like with the citrus and bergamot, slowly settles on skin and it gets smoky with the birch. It's also not so bright but still very bold very loud at close sniffs, seems normal projection and decent silage. 73% alcohol vol and still labeled Edp Pour Homme despite Elixir name. Classy scent but try not to overspray as it can become strong and cloying to some. The sprayer is great to use, lovely and pressured. All if not most Loewe atomizers are pretty great. Also after sometime, maybe the smokiness reminds me of cdnim LE, also has this cedrat Boise smell but it's not mossy like the 2018 Edp. Esencia Elixir has some greens and other notes in it but I don't get leather. This cost $437 for the 100ml here in Singapore and Sabina definitely have a better deal if u can get some discounts and a good shipping rate. After about 5 hours, I feel I still prefer the drydown for the Edp, this Elixir isn't extrait strength, just a name since it's clear on box and bottle is an Edp strength. Also my mancerated Edp seems to last longer cuz it's quite a light skin scent now after 5 hours so longetivity is Abit disappointing. It starts off just so very good and strong but I think at best this is just 8hrs or so. Added on 12/2. The drydown is gorgeous and it has similarities to the drydown of AA.

Loewe's Elixir Essence is a woody, earthy, and aromatic fragrance. This fragrance smells of a forest, with notes of pine and patchouli, and earthy, almost mossy, smoky accords. It's an elegant and formal gentleman's scent. It doesn't require much description because it smells the same from beginning to end. It could be worn in three seasons: spring, autumn, and winter, or in summer for evening outings. I see it as suitable for office work, as a signature scent, in both formal and casual situations. I think it will appeal more to a mature audience than to a younger one. In terms of longevity, it lasts very well, around 12 hours, but its sillage is somewhat discreet, which isn't a bad thing because I suppose elegance doesn't need to be overpowering, although it's not a skin scent either. A very good fragrance from Loewe, like many others they offer. The official price is a bit high, but you can find better deals with wholesalers. It's a fragrance worth trying.

Well, I've finally found a fragrance that I found interesting that actually fits me. I tested this a week ago and I'm in withdrawls😅 I did not really smell many aventus-likes for me to judge it's similarity but if I had to say it's a big No. In comparison to Cedrat Boise Intense - this, yeah, has a similar overall construction but the end result is completely different. This smells like a forest. A forest after rain, foggy, misty, with a spring basin coming from under a cold rock formation with fractaling mosses, firs and lichens all around it. Like a lot of Loewe fragrances (and clothes too tbh), it might appear simple for the first few seconds of contact with your nose (or eyes), but then it hits you with a "whoa" Lesser projecting, lasts through the whole day. 10/10, I will be buying this

I expected a true "Extrait" concentration, but surprisingly the bottle is still labeled Eau de Parfum, so here "Elixir" seems to be more of a name than a concentration. The opening actually surprised me. Instead of an explosion of woods, it starts very soft, almost watery with clean musk. After a few minutes the fir and forest character become much more noticeable. It's comforting rather than dramatic, like walking through a warm Mediterranean forest instead of a cold pine forest. I expected broader projection and a brighter opening, but Loewe clearly went for elegance instead of power. At times I even get Irish Spring soap vibe, which isn't necessarily a bad thing. Overall it's smooth, natural, easy to wear and, unlike many modern "Elixirs," doesn't become heavy or syrupy

This is exactly a concentrated Moncler Sunrise Pour Homme. I really like them both for casual/work style scents. Both better than Aventus and more modern. Update: I have been wearing this a few times lately, and it started to remind me on Intense Cedrat Boise more. A little less fruity, and little more woody, maybe on the account of the vetiver here. I was about to pull the trigger and buy a full size bottle, but I stopped...I actually like the playful nature of the Mancera a little more. This is kind of a mix of Intense Cedrat Boise mixed with Hacivat, still lovely, but those other two a little more affordable at discounters. That said, the quality on this one is fantastic, so is the performance, you can't go wrong.

This one its one of the few Loewe fragances that last long and I hope it remains like this for the price. I love the smell, it takes me to so kind of rainy forest with some low sweet smell on it, a master peace. This is not Creed Aventus at all, you ppl need to check your noses. Also it doesnt has only 3 notes like it says there. Those are the main ones and Im pretty sure it has way more notes that they didnt say and its a good idea also to avoid a cheap copy of it.

This one has just three notes: patchouli, vetiver, and amber. It's crazy that people say it smells like Aventus; it might resemble it from afar and just in the opening because on the drydown it smells like incense. I like this one. I just randomly grabbed it and put it on after taking a shower without noticing what I grabbed. So, I was doing some work on the computer when this soft scent came to me, and I was like, "WTF did I just spray?" I love it.

This perfume honestly is one of the top ones that i have tried so far. it works great for almost many different settings or events, really a compliment grabber and works great especially in warmer areas. i do not mean by that that its good for summer, but rather has an amazing profile when worn in regions such as middle and southern europe, Middle East etc... honestly a very good elixir

This is aventus DNA, but stronger and darker, it got a deeper earthier aspects and some suavage elixer-esque nuances. This is a winter time Aventus. As much as I love the OG, this right here is what I use instead during the colder months if im feeling that DNA. Lasts long time too, with good projection and sillage.

Really like this one. I find it quite fresh (in a slightly bitter way), slightly reminiscent of lemon peels. Now, when everything is sweet vanilla, this was a beautiful refreshment. I would defo recommend, if it wasn't for the price, which is pretty high. If it isn't a problem however, go for it.

Woody, dark Aventus DNA, but makes its own twist. Similar to NOI, but waaaay more natural smelling. I get the woodsy smell of Explorer, but more rounded and classy. Great stuff for all seasons except summer.

Fantastic scent. Spanish male elegance. Think Carlos Sainz wearing a blazer to lunch at le grill in Monaco. Yes it’s similar to Aventus. But it’s different enough. Greener, but still smokey. Super scent

Mix of Aventus and Sauvage, kinda smells like less bright Hacivat without pineapples. Idc it is not original, it smells very good. Signature material for men.

Smells amazing in the dry down, performs very well, last +day on the clothes easily. 8/10.

This is what aventus absolu should have been.

Quite a subtle scent to my nose, more so than I expected. It starts out Hacivat-esque with hints of Bvlgari Kobraa thanks to the earthy, green, resinous touches. In the drydown it comes closer to Absolu Aventus, but a bit more like MB Explorer Extreme. It's of good quality, smells natural and nicely balanced. But it just isn't particularly special or statement making enough to feel too strongly about it. Someone who enjoys it a lot.could really make this a signature for themselves, it just doesn't quite work like that for me though.

Opens with a blast of fresh, minty citrus. The fragrance is airy and expansive. It calls to mind walking a mountain trail as a cool breeze carries the aromas of a nearby wooded valley. Very musky and clean, masculine and with great projection. Lasts as a skin scent for quite a while too. It's essentially a close simulation of Creed Aventus. I like it. Although cheaper than Aventus, it's still pricey. If it came down in price, which I don't think it will, it might be worth getting as the quality is superior to most Aventus clones.

I purchased this upon its original release, and I can safely say it’s more or less a classy cross of Aventus and Sauvage Elixir. Basically, an Esencia Eau de Parfum remix, albeit darker, thicker, and greener. Reminds me a bit of Aventus Absolu. Esencia Elixir, however, has a really sharp saffron accord that I do not enjoy (in perfumery), so eventually sold it. Note pyramid is incomplete, and should include bergamot, grapefruit, leather, cashmere wood and saffron. A quality scent nontheless.

Ok addition in the Aventus/Hacivat line. Performance is slightly above average. Don’t see my self purchasing a full bottle to be honest. Update: performance is monster level. 7-8 hours & still going strong on my hand for 2/3 sprays. Definitely the best clone of Aventus I tried so far.

As a woman I loved this upon first spray and got a 50ml bottle for myself. It's masculine but simple and natural-smelling in a way that makes it easy for anyone to pull off. It's quite similar to my Chanel Chance Eau Fraîche, actually. Wet, earthy patchouli.

Very enjoyable rather fresh patchouli vetiver combination. Slight patchouli sweet in the opening and more vetiver centred towards the dry down. A normal silage and quite good longevity. Modern take on an oldschool theme. Nice!

I loved the original Esencia EDT, so was excited to try this. It really is a powerhouse - go careful with the trigger otherwise you will suffocate the whole building, let alone the room. I love it & purchased a full bottle.

bro what the heck is this performance, I sprayed it 7 small sprays from a tester, I walk into store, a few meters away form cashier and she says "who is perfumed so much" red tobacco level performance

I get the comparison with Aventus, but this one is more earthy, more herbal and more aromatic. On dry down gets a lot aftershave-ish. Darker cousin of Aventus I'd say. The OG is still the King though

It smells great after you let it sit for 30 minutes. It is dark, reminds me of a forest, in the dark night while it is raining. Great scent, although I find it too pricey.

no fragrance performas like this. red tobacco, montale black oud, sauvage elixir, are nothing compared to this. crazy.

I bought it because I thought it will be somewhat similar to hacivat. I found zero resemblance. I don’t get why someone say it is similar. This straight up smells like pine. It is screechy and smells like aftershave. Definitely not for women. Good thing I can give it to my boyfriend and that I bought it on sale, because it definitely overpriced.

Just smells like a fairly generic modern amber bomb to me. Just buy Club De Nuit if you like that sort of thing and save your money.

Having an instant negative reaction to a perfume I’m testing for the first time has happened a handful of times to me. This is one of them. It’s crazy strong, and I immediately wanted to scrub it off but waited to judge it properly. It’s awful from start to finish, and the projection is insane. I tried to scrub it off several times without success. I was in my bathroom when I sprayed it (only 1-2 sprays, mind you) and I can smell the fragrance from the hallway. I don’t know why I hate this scent though, I’m curious to investigate more. It smells so generic, so uninspired, not one once of creativity or realism.

I may have oversprayed this (used 10 sprays from an official sample) but I hated it (and I like the Escencia EDT and EDP). Horrible synthetic woody effect. Very unusual for Loewe who don't usually have such synthetic harshness

This stuff is good! I've had a bottle since October. I'm still getting the feel for it, but it's darker than Aventus. The citrus opening is still bright and sharp, but darker with an astringent edge that makes it unique and different than Aventus. Bergamot and citron? I think there are some floral notes (jasmine?) with slightly bitter herbs in the first couple hours. There is also a smoky/leathery birch in the mid that definitely makes you think about vintage Aventus. (I smelled vintage once in 2014 and Neiman Marcus, so I'm not an expert). The base is a lot of amberwoods (which I like when done well), patchouli, and vetiver. It somehow maintains the astingent aspect throughout which is cool. Longevity is very good, and it stays on clothes for a long time. Testing it side by side with F batch Aventus and Esencia EDP, it's much stronger and bolder than both. I can barely smell either one after smelling EE. I think it's the best Aventus type fragrance by far. Worth a sample or bottle from Sabina!

I'm so glad I got a bottle of this. It's such a beautiful woody, earthy, fruity fragrance. It absolutely reminds me of Aventus, but it's got an amped up vetiver and amber quality. Fresh vetiver kind of vibe. Imagine the Aventus opening, but dial down the sharp fruitiness and amp up a clean vetiver and patchouli. It's dense, like a foggy spring morning. It's (in my eyes) great for all 4 seasons. It's got this dark moodiness about it that adds depth to a popular dna. You can dress this up, dress it down, it works no matter what. As it drys down, you start leaning into the vetiver / amber dance even more. It's fantastic. So refined, simple, yet elegant and unique. Like others have said, it smells very natural. This is hands down a no brainer dumb reach for anyone. As the name suggests, it's and elixir so it will do fairly well performance wise. If you like aventus but want something with more backbone, depth, and woody / earthy facets, you will adore this.

I'd do it again. Who looks up someone for correcting them? You're still wrong by the way. The 1988 version is a totally different fragrance from the edp and the elixir. You think having the same name makes them the same? The edp and the elixir are most certainly aventus dupes. I may have been arrested but you certainly are dumb. Now go cry somewhere else honey. Aventus on steroids. At first it smells like those cheap ish aventus clones... but then it shows it self. Lasts forever and is a bit more green. I love it, at this moment in time this is as good as aventus gets and it has a little bit of that green idk, a bit of the other more clean smell to it as well. This is under rated and even when you do get a chance to sample it at the store you might write it off as another aventus knock off but if you have sprayed on something you will understand.

I was at Loewe store checking other perfumes and a walking customer entred the store and asked for a specific bottle, he purchased it and left. so i was cursious to ask sales person what is that perfume this guy took :) it was Loewe Esencia Elixir ..when i tried it i was like this is Creed Aventus :o . i got a sample from the store to try it at home. i really liked it, it has deeper and darker of Creed Aventus DNA..but what holds me back from buying is the price..a bit over priced

I was like: OMG... i know this! What is it? Oh? Its aventus! Actually nice Aventus DNA (but better? IDK never rly liked aventus that much... but this might be closer to older batches ppl cant stop bragging about? I am sure, if it were even little bit more fruity, i would fall for aventus too NGL) One thing i wanted to say: Its NUCLEAR in true way! Room filling. in drydown not as exciting... but maybe someday i apriciate it even more!

Couldn’t help but put a quick review up as I’ve just tried a sample of this. To my nose this smells just like a Marks & Spencer fragrance dermot o Leary vetiver I think it was called for about 20 quid a few years ago. This is £167 for 100ml on Notino and this is just a crap inspired by aventus frag. Nothing more nothing less. No trolling or blowing smoke up anyones arse.

Oh I feel relieved because I thought I smelled aventus. I got myself a sample of Hope by Frederic Malle (was wondering what the price point is about) and esencia elixir was one of the samples. Lovely scent, very much aventus like - that pineapple accord is here too although not visible in the note breakdown. Liking it a lot but not sure if it will be a full bottle yet.

Kells87 Loewe released Esencia in 1988. It's a 100% different fragrance than this elixir release. Your "review" makes absolutely no sense. It would be like comparing Diors Sauvage to its elixir release. 100% different fragrance. This is most certainly an attempt to cash in the Aventus craze. Without a doubt. Nice try though

العطر الوحيد اللي خلاني اقلل من استخدام افنتوس و ان كان فيه اختلافات بس كل شي هنا عجبني اكثر حسب ذوقي نقاء جودة اداء افضل بكثير تحديدا الهالة العطرية او السيلاج هنا له فوحان ملحوظ لدرجة ان اللي حولي اعجبو بالعطر اكثر مني حتى بالنهار العطر له حضور نظيف جدا ولا هو منفر

This smells sharp and pungent like Afnan's SNOI. Redundant if you own that or anything close to be honest. Kind of getting tired of that scent profile lately, so it was a disappointing experience to say the least.

Just smelled it and it's right inbetween Aventus and Hacivat leaning more towards Hacivat in the drydown, for the money I would just buy Hacivat.

Classic Loewe DNA as a darker, forest-focused take on Aventus. Strong, prominent resins combined with rich pine and smoky woods.
