Esencia pour Homme Eau de Parfum

This is not an aventus clone and it also does not imitate mont-blanc's take on Aventus as some here claim. This thing is quite natural smelling in comparison to MB explorer, and it also goes on it's separate way in the dry down, maybe more then a bit. Don't get me wrong, this fragrance is a take on Aventus, but it is managing to project a similar scent with different notes that are easy to peak on if you bother. It is darker and not smoky, yet still reminds you of that aventus. I never worned Aventus or aventus like fragrances in the sommer cause i found them to be somehow cloying, this one tough, actually does ok in sommer. Hot weather makes it a bit sweater and for whatever reason the darkness turns airy. It lingers for a long time on skin and projects more then 6 Hours for about an arm lenght. People here complaining about it not lasting, should really step away from fragrances for more then a month and go softer the next time they use fragrances. They are most probably those ones that smell from 1Km and nobody that far wants to smell them perfumes. An advise for those people would be, stop being that guy and start wearing less fragrance. Anyway, some people might get nose-blind to it, but that does not mean others won't smell it, and if you spray to much, well, choke on it. Now, do i like it? YES. Great one but not for 20s or under, in my opinion, 25s and up would be the crowd for it. It is a natural smeling blend in comparison to a lot of Designer fragrances, it is tough a bit pricier then the avarage designers...

To me, this is an exceptionally elegant fragrance, leaning masculine but still very wearable year-round. It strikes a balance between presence and restraint: noticeable, but never loud or overbearing. It’s important not to confuse this with Loewe Esencia Eau de Toilette: they are completely different compositions. The EDT is a very classic, almost old-school fougère (the kind many of us associate with a previous generation, I remember my father wearing it). The EDP, on the other hand, takes that fougère backbone and gives it a modern twist. It keeps the structure but refines and updates it, making it far more contemporary and versatile. I can understand why some people draw parallels with Creed Aventus, mainly due to a certain clean, confident masculinity and subtle fruit-wood contrast. That said, the comparison only goes so far. Aventus leans brighter, more youthful, and more immediately attention-grabbing. Esencia EDP is more restrained, more composed. If Aventus is something a younger man might wear to stand out, Esencia EDP feels like a fragrance for someone over 30, someone who wants to leave an impression, but without trying too hard. It’s confident, understated, and quietly assertive. Performance-wise, it tends to stay relatively close to the skin with moderate projection, which reinforces that idea of controlled elegance rather than loud presence. Overall, this is a refined reinterpretation of a classic DNA: modern fougère done right, with maturity and intention.

I have the all black, older style bottle. Opens with a fairly synthetic bergamot note supported by cedar/IsoE Super and some peppery musk. Maybe a hint of juniper in the top. It’s evident upon spraying that it’s an Aventus clone. Smells pretty similar to things like L’Aventure Intense and CDNIM. Edit: In multiple wearings, this is nicer than the clones (smoother and not quite as synthetic). The opening is better than the ME clones but still doesn't match the Aventus top. It has greener/darker notes than current Aventus - a bit closer to older Aventus, if that's something you want. Longevity is 6-8 hours on skin with below average projection. This is a weird one. If you read the reviews there are quite a few that say this disappears fast for users and others that say it lasts 24 hours. Sprayed on one hand and Aventus on the other at 9pm on back to back nights. In both situations my Aventus (F batch) was still clearly there at 6am the next day. No Loewe was present. So, I'm confident that this has less performance than current Aventus in my experience. A 7.5/10. The scent profile isn’t new. This is very similar to Aventus (and especially the clones) but costs more than most clones and still uses a lot of Iso E and synthetic musks that make you noseblind. So, if you’re like me, and struggle with smelling larger synthetic molecules, you won’t even get good performance out of your purchase. Word of caution!

My signature fragrance of 2023! Exquisite citrusy opening that transform throughout the day and stays forever! I was sampling this at a Sephora because I have never heard of the Loewe house of frags. Among the unisex and masculine scents ( I tried 7, Man 001, etc), this was easily my favorite, a love at first sniff! I was apprenhesive about the price tag so I decided to sleep on it and only sprayed on my fall jacket. I kid you not, this fragrance is sublime on fabric and lasted more than a week. I could not believe that I could still smell it. It has such an invigorating sweet and intoxicating lavender/woody mix of notes that I personally love and mellows into a powdery scent that is like a balm to your mental psyche. Every time I sneak a sniff, it's there like a reliable friend you go to for advice. It's relaxing and dependable. The girl I'm dating especially loves this because she thinks back to our first date together when I wore it. A must have for any man looking for an all-rounder fragrance that is sophisticated yet also modern! Worth every penny!

Esencia has become a staple for me- as soon as I’m running out of a bottle I’m sure to have another one ordered and on the way. I have yet to find another fougere that delivers elegant freshness without ever getting too screechy and synthetic or stuffy and dull. It opens with nice oily (not acidic) citrus before giving way to a warm yet invigorating blend of herbaceous and peppery notes that delight every damn time a wear it. I always get compliments and questions about what I’m wearing when I spray this (and I wear Esencia several times a week- that’s a lot of perfume chatter!). Yes, it does smell like Aventus, but I’ve done side by side comparisons several times and each time it’s clear that Esencia is the superior juice. Aventus singes your nostrils with its brightness and its citrus notes are blaring. Esencia is much more mellow and integrated, and frankly smells way more natural. Loewe would be committing a criminal act if they ever discontinued this- it’s a true classic that any man with taste should own.

Just bought today a new edp bottle, blind buy. It reallly is a woody fragrance. Maybe the woodiest fragrance i've ever smelled. Yeah, it is a close relative to Aventus after the opening, after that they come really close. A connaiseur/perfectionist/Aventus fanboy maybe would strongly disagree with this statement, but for 9 out of 10 people it would be true. Loewe is more creamy, lot more woody, less smoky (it's smokeless in fact), less musky, and got no pineapple. How then are they so close? They are, inexplicably they really are, not identical, but close, after 5 min. I've had CDNIM Limited Edition, to which this resembles more. But a huuuuge difference in quality sets them apart, Loewe having a much better quality, more natural ingredients, just like Creed. And Loewe has a nice and interesting woody creaminess. I sold my CDNIM LE long time ago, as it was too chemical for me. Basically you get a slight citrusy- vvery woddy- creamy- top quality fragrance. For any season. Very masculine, James Bond's fragrance.

I traded in a 50ml Esencia pour Homme Edp and now I see what the hype is all about for it. It maintains itself as a good quality juice that is worth the brand and the price. It is a fraction off the price of Creed Aventus but can be found cheaper at some resellers. Only thing not so ideal is the long and thin width bottle, hard to keep it standing straight and properly so better for it to have some support amongst other bottles. Back to the juice, the notes here aren't right, do check out other sites for the notes. Yes, Esencia pour Homme Edp is Creed Aventus inspired and it opens good however it was able to retain the pineapple dna for quite a while as a slightly greener Aventus, perhaps some might agree that is a more mature Aventus, Aventus progress kinda woodier at the end I feel. The moss here is just nice and does throw others who dislike moss off. Overall, Esencia pour Homme is better than a lot of similar inspired Middle Eastern brand's juices.

I got the elixir as a sample and took a chance on it, as it was a little out of my scent profile comfort zone. However, upon receiving a COMPLIMENT (!!!), I said yep, okay. I'm buying it. I bought the EDP, not realizing the sample I used was elixir, but I can say I absolutely prefer it. I get a lot of compliments from people when I wear this! From "something smells luxurious" to "I can't remember what I was saying, you smell incredible". For a masculine fragrance on a female, I'm so pleased with how I feel when I wear it. As for the actual scent, it's like going for a walk in the wet fern filled woods. I feel like it captures woodsy in a way that isn't too sharp. I love how it warms up on the body. It wears and layers incredibly. I find that even after a thorough scrub in the shower, I can still smell traces of it on my skin. This + cobalt 7 is a beautiful suggestion from Loewe. They truly know what they're doing when it comes to fragrance.

Starts off with an elegant symphony of citruses and fruits. Zesty bergamot, apple, grapefruit, black currant, and pink berries, wrapped in a bed of silky lavender. Within minutes it smoothly transitions, becoming green, very mossy, a little earthy, and also woody thanks to the vetiver. I also get a bit of spice coming from basil, or something that feels like tarragon. Just gorgeous. Esencia EdP shares similarities to Vespero, it's both playful and dark, but without the use of leather. The dark tone likely comes from the blackcurrant and moss, which I really enjoy and the dry down is all about woods, patch, and musk. With that being said -- if you're tired of "Aventus-y" fragrances, you'll find Esencia EdP as nothing new, nor groundbreaking. But if you're like me and never grow tired of this DNA, you'll find it to be a worthy adversary to your arsenal.

I really started to like it more with time by using it everyday, I think it is very well balanced, not to strong, but still not weak, and have a very natural smell to it. I think its better to not overspray because has some quite strong notes, that for me can be nauseating if I overspray, using 2-4 sprays for me works good, it lasts and smells even better than putting to much sprays. the fragrance has a very fresh and clean smell, I don’t love the opening, but what gets me is the drydown, is so clean, and earthy. so my top notes on this fragrance are really the drydown, works very well for a every day fragrance, smells very natural, thats a thing a like on my fragrances, and the bottle design, i really like the minimalist bottles of loewe.

I've been looking for a really good alternative to Aventus, and I believe I finally found it. Loewe Esencia EDP is fantastic! Is it a 1:1 clone of Aventus? No, it isn't. There are definite similarities, but they are not identical. If you're looking for the smokiness that Aventus is known for, you won't find it here. IMO, this leans a little closer to Morning Chess by Vilhelm Parfums (which I also love!) Fresh, green, citrusy, and woody. Excellent sillage and projection for the first 3 hours. On my skin I easily get about 9 hours worth of performance. This is a well balanced, long lasting, high end smelling alternative for people who love the Aventus DNA but want something a little different. I highly recommend this!

Loewe Esencia EDP es un perfume que se disfruta bastante traer puesto, fácil su estela te acompaña durante 8 horas. Su proyección es débil, ese no es su fuerte, pero la burbuja que te deja durante TODO el día, hace que te sientas bien y te sientas abrazado. Para nada es igual a Montblanc Explorer, explorer es MUCHO más frutal e informal, inclusive un poco empalagosa. En mi piel lo que más resalta, es esta combinación de musgo fresco y su combinación con la lavanda, lo cual hace que para nada sea una lavanda pesada o dulce. Me gusta que no tiene eata nota de piña y frutal que encuentras en Aventus e inspiraciones, si no que es más fresco/denso elegante pero sin llegar a ser pesado o empalagoso. 11/10

A lovely fragrance and the most elegant and sophisticated of all the Creed Aventus scent profile fragrances. This is a gentleman's fragrance that is subtle, deferential, dignified and true artistry. I do not understand that some argue that this is not Creed Aventus, but silky-smooth, well-blended and gracious -- never loud, harsh or synthetic. It is beautiful and will serve my collection in lieu of a $300 bottle of Creed Aventus. It is a shame to refer to this as a clone; it deserves much more respect and honor -- yes, it is essentially Aventus, but with Loewe Esencia there can be no other clone mentioned as being in the same realm as this beauty. I am glad to have stumbled on this one!

I have the Old Style bottle, a batch from 2019. Firstly, having those carvings on a bottle, an all black bottle felt so niche and exquisite. The sprayer was basic unfortunately. Coming to the scent, it reminds me of a twisted opening of that of Aventus, CDNIMs, however has a bit of greenness to it, which I believe is the moss here. Not sure if it has anything more, but it definitely does not open citrusy. Also, it is way smoother than CDNIM in comparison and unique post the initial spray, however the drydown gets pretty similar to that of CDNIM. Not sure how they get that through the combinations. Unfortunately, the performance is mediocre, with 4-6 hours, and okayish projection.

After being sold on this by a sales assistant at Selfridges, I really haven't looked back. This is an absolute masterclass in being an all round, wear any time, for any event type fragrance. It is not particularly strong in any department, but more of a jack of all trades, something you could rely on for any occasion. The fresh / woody / herbal balance is very nice, and if you want to smell like a clean cut, professional male - this will do the job. My only minor complaints would be the longevity, where it is definitely moderate to good, and the fact it is similar to the Aventus DNA. I'll buy this again and again though.

I absolutely adore this fragrance. Yes, it’s reminiscent of Aventus in the opening, but Esencia EDP is much smoother and possesses the most luxurious, masculine dry down I’ve ever smelled. You’ll leave a trail of amazingly soft, sexy muskiness behind you wherever you go. It’s the embodiment of a quietly confident, hot guy. I find Aventus to be quite bright and screechy, and women tend to not be that into it. This, on the other hand, is an absolute compliment magnet from women and men alike. It’s definitely signature worthy and incredibly versatile. A rare example of a clone besting the original fragrance, imho.

Lovely scent but only projects on me for about an hour before it becomes a complete skin scent. After reading about its great duration I couldn't believe how little it lasted. Pretty sad... lucky I got it for a bargain or else I would be really angry to pay the retail price for something that has no longevity. What a shame *edit* after wearing this quite a bit, I have to edit my post and say that it does indeed have longevity. Lasts on skin for an entire work day. Projects at close distance for a few hours. This scent smells delicious though I absolutely love it.

I’m a sucker for Aventus inspired frags. This should be near the top of your list if you’re into Aventus inspired frags as much as I am. The top reminds me more of CDNIM Parfum more than Aventus but it’s all in the same vein. As it dries down, I’m left with a beautiful dry/woody/smokey frag that pushes the 8+ hour longevity mark. It’s masterfully blended and pick is quality from start to finish. This is my top 5 for “dumb reaches” and never fails to have someone ask me what I’m wearing. Do yourself a favor and pick this up, you won’t be disappointed! Cheers!

A blind buy for me - which is a rare thing after being caught out too many times in the past. A good quality Aventus alternative, although not quite as juicy in the top notes but it certainly has the Aventus DNA. Performance is okay but nothing special and, on my skin at least, Aventus is stronger and lasts longer. Longevity is fairly good but, like many fragrances nowadays, projection dies back too soon - people will need to be up close and personal to smell this on you. Good but not quite the Aventus killer I was hoping for.

This made me write my first review ever. As someone rightfully said "clone journey of Aventus is over" - this is the perfect replacement if you find the dry down of Aventus the best part. 6 sprays on clothes and skin lasts about 7/8 hours, which is more than enough for the office. The sillage isn't as strong as something like CDNIM but at least with this I don't have to sit through an hour of sickening lemon mess and Escencia EDP is priced well enough that I feel comfortable over-spraying or topping up throughout the day.
