Just got my 50ml bottle in the mail today. I blind bought it and I couldn’t be more pleased with the purchase. My only complaint is that I didn’t spring for the 100ml. Because my collection is rather large, I usually stay away from bigger bottles, but I could and absolutely would end up using all of a 100ml. I had heard and watched a ton of hyped reviews on this fragrance. I own basically every high end “blue fragrance on the planet, from designer to niche. I thought to myself, “ how special and different can this scent really be”? Well, it truly is both of those, special and different. Different in the sense that it isn’t linear, because it changes as you wear it in multiple phases. Special in the sense that it really does have sneaky performance. Not only does it jump off your skin and have really good sillage, but it is super potent in the way of a little really does go a long way. I put a single pump on my wrist after I got home from my night shift and tested it for the first time. 2 hours later my wife woke up to get ready for her shift at the hospital and immediately asked what the amazing scent was. I was super shocked because I literally only did one spray. And, you have to keep in mind that I am talking about a woman who IS NEVER IMPRESSED with anything I buy or wear. And not to brag, but I have a ton of heavy hitters in this fragrance realm! Basically, this scent is a super star blue and it very well may be the king of blues. Let’s just say I won’t be wearing my BDC EDP, BDC PARFUM, Dior Sauvage EDP, Chanel Allure homme extreme, Dior homme sport or Dior homme 2020. I could go on as I have at least 15 fragrances in the blue genre, but I listed these because they are what everybody holds high in this particular landscape, including myself. I consider them the best of the blues. 7 cobalt takes the crown. I buy a lot of my fragrances blind. To me it is a fun part of the hobby. Pleasant surprises or reselling to get something else, lol. This one will ALWAYS be in my rotation. BDC Parfum is now bumped to number 2.

Oh, man, where to even begin describing this masterpiece. Loewe 7 Cobalt is a fragrance reminiscent of Chanel’s Bleu de Chanel line, though I’d argue it should be compared to the Parfum version rather than the EDT or EDP, since it is denser, heavier, and more mature, very much in line with BDC Parfum. Don’t get me wrong, it carries some DNA of BDC, but the scent itself is different. That being said, it is far from linear; it evolves noticeably from start to finish. To my nose, blackcurrant stands out as the main player here, supported by tonka beans. As for longevity and performance, I applied this fragrance to my cap yesterday, and more than 15 hours later I could still smell it in my room as if only a few moments had passed. The longevity and projection are outstanding, especially considering that this is only an EDP. In fact, it performs on the same level as BDC Parfum, if not better. The quality of the ingredients used in this creation is undeniable. It feels appropriate for almost any place and occasion though probably not for the gym, despite its shower-gel freshness. I also need to mention, however, that the packaging could be improved. I like the box art, but the box itself should either open more smoothly, like Apple products, or include a feature that makes unboxing easier. If I worked as a designer for Loewe, I’d redesign the bottle to look more premium. As it stands, there are visible manufacturing defects (lines), the label feels as if it may eventually fall off, and the cap isn't great, almost as if I could tear the atomizer off by accident when I open the cap. A magnetic cap would be far more appropriate. If Loewe 7 Cobalt had been released by Chanel instead of L'Exclusif, people would pay the ridiculous price without complaint, and it would surely be hailed as a masterpiece. Beautiful creation and hidden gem in my opinion. 10/10 Honorable mention to @Cleanmayne2055, your review convinced me to order a decant and then 100ml bottle. Thank you!

A year ago i stumbled upon this one in a shop. I wasn't familiar with the brand Loewe at all, so i tested a few of their different colored bottles. I sprayed this on my hand and in the beginning it felt like just another blue fragrance, but the quality was undeniably there. I'm not a big fan of blue scents or summer dna's in particular. This time though, i kept sniffing my hand the rest of the day. Each time realizing the artistic workmanship it takes to strike a fresh scent with complexity like this one has. Today i finally got it and tried it out again, sniffing my hand all day for the sake of olfactory science. It starts aromatic with a combination of lively sage accompanied by a citrusy burst of fresh, yet tart juniper berry note. Once it settles, some fruity and spicy nuances start to make it to the stage. The pink pepper and clove notes appear and play a part in this twist of tales. During the later stages, the incense and vetiver as well as sage note create a very sexy smoky, yet herbal, aromatic drydown with some pink pepper in the background - which is my favorite part of the fragrance journey. Got a compliment with it on the first wear. Versatile as fuck. Performance wise, it's more of a long lasting scent than a projecting scent - though it projects nicely in the first hour. This one doesn't scream at you or others. It takes a step back after asserting itself, and starts to brew the magic on skin taking you through a sophisticated, deep, blue journey. 10/10 & I'll definitely be looking more into what Loewe have to offer.

Not the most impressive fragrance in the opening, but wait. Just wait for the top notes to fade, and it gets really good. But, wait a while longer, and you will be greeted with something very special. But wait a little longer and you will be greeted by one of the best things I have ever had the pleasure of getting my nose over. Absolutely superb, this is stellar fragrance unlike any other. Sometimes I forget how good it is, and I have to wear it and wait. This fragrance has four different phases. The opening is aromatic sage, fruity currant and citrus, then it loses the citrus and the pepper makes it spicy, then it gets green and creamy, and finally it becomes smokey and earthy. It's really one of those fragrances that takes me on a journey. Safe for all seasons and all occasions, but it really needs heat to lift up that drydown and let it open up properly. I have worn this in every single type of weather, and in the Spring and Summer it evolves into something absolutely spectacular and it lasts and lasts and lasts. It doesn't scream, it stays relatively close for most of its life. I have seen this fragrance compared to many others and some of them do contain shades of it, but none can truly come close to the magnitude and artistry on display here, not even the "similar" fragrances that cost quite a bit more. This is a niche blue fragrance, cut and dry. I think this will forever be in my top 10 fragrances and it smells better than almost anything that costs 3x as much. 97/100

  • em inglês

One of those fragrances I had heard of but never went out of my way to test. I am now a huge fan of this fragrance. I see this as the more mature blue fragrance. Definitely not an older person blue fragrance but more sophisticated. It doesn't lean too sweet or woody or citrus like most would. This one has a clean soft spiced incense vibe throughout. I totally see the BDC similarities. It's like they made a grown up niche style fragrance then they said ok now make it very mass appealing and made BDC. At first you get YSL Y EDP then BDC parfum. Just to give an idea but this totally does its own thing. It's a clean almost shower gel like opening with nice aromatics then it starts really leaning into the incense. It's a super clean incense. You then start getting light touches of the cloves tonka and pink pepper to round things out. Performance is pretty good. 6 hours out of 4 sprays has been the average so far which isn't bad . It's as versatile as any other blue fragrance but this can be worn in a more professional setting . As far as comparisons BDC is close. YSL Y EDP just a bit. I have to really disagree with the Moncler comparison, it's almost shocking that it's the highest comparison. Gladiator is another one of my favorites but gladiator is more bright and woody. It's really doing its own thing with the use of incense. I give this an 8.5 /10

  • em inglês

This is awesome. The reviews are correct and it does have hints of a ton of blue fragrances. Up top the two things I get that set this apart from other fragrances is an aromatic green herbal feel and an incense/smoke/slight resin that is different from other blues and sets this apart, but blends perfectly. Those two things are in a ton of fragrances but this one does it a little differently to add a twist that sets its apart. I get a little bleu de channel, peppery spice (insert any of your favorite spicy blue scent here), small hints of percival/Fierce and boy is it amazing, lastly hints of the DRY DOWN of the new Ysl Y EDP intense. I sprayed this like 6-7 times and it went loud and hard for hours! The reviews are correct. This is no slouch so 3-5 sprays should get you where you need to be with great performance. I got 8-10 hours with the first 4 being heavy projection and sillage. I could smell it on the clothes and as a skin scent the next morning. I see this working in every season except the high heat and deep cold. Versatile, office, errands, day wear, dinner, to the bar, this would work. You just have to get your sprays sorted. Worth the $100 I paid for 100ml and its quality. Im glad I checked this out and will have to look into more from this house.

One of the few times I was not let down by the fragcomm hype. Scent: 9/10 - This sh*t smells so good that I was a c*nt hair away from gatekeeping it. To me it's as if you took the best facets of Bleu de Chanel EDP and Drakkar Noir, then added in some secret sauce so it all blends together beautifully. In the opening I get a blast of aromatic spiciness rounded out with the sweetness of blackcurrant. The vetiver and incense are there from the get-go, but are more subtle until a couple hours into the dry down. Longevity: 7/10 - Not bad, but wish it lasted longer. Projection: 7/10 - Projects well in the first hour, but calms down after that. Uniqueness: 8/10 - Apparently it's more popular in Europe, but here in the States you'd be hard-pressed to find anyone within a 10-mile radius wearing this. It's different, but in a conventional and comforting way. Versatility: 8/10 - I may be in the minority here, but, just like BDC and Drakkar Noir, I consider this a nighttime-only fragrance. There's a certain allure it has that just doesn't pair well with daytime to me. It's a year-round scent for sure, however. If I ever decide to strip down my collection to the bare bones, this is one I'll never let go. Easily a top-5, for-life scent.

Blue. Bleu. Indigo. Colbalt. Azul. Azure. A horse by any other name... They’re ubiquitous these days. Every house releases them. Loved and hated for their “mass appeal” character. Criticized (probably correctly) as smelling like supermarket shower gels, for arising just as the Axe wearing tweens from the late 90s and early 2000s became old enough and rich enough to purchase fragrances... I do not care for these kind fragrances, but.. as I enjoy Loewe’s fragrances and seeing their obligatory entrant in to this endless expanse of blue, I had to test the waters. As with many Loewe fragrances, this one does the mainstream just a little better. There is more depth, more interest, more quality here. The fruity/smokey accord (black currant and incense) isn’t cloying or sickeningly sweet like some *other *popular designer blues. And it isn’t so generic, either, as it riffs on the fantastic Loewe 7 DNA. Yes, there is a hat tip to mainstream “cologne guy” smell in still in this, so be advised. But when occasion calls for fresh, deep, modern manliness, I’ll reach for Cobalt. It is a much more compelling option than many of its comparative Blues Brothers. Loewe is a house worth looking into if you aren’t familiar with it.

  • em inglês

Loewe 7 Cobalt is an aromatic, herbal, spicy and woody fragrance. Its opening is fresh, slightly fruity and spicy, with some pink pepper and a herbal chord of sage and other aromatics, even the original Loewe 7 incense is perceived, but quite attenuated. And precisely that hidden incense is the only thing that remains in relation to the fragrance that gave rise to the Loewe 7 line, because the aroma of Cobalt is more jovial and modern, more aromatic, slightly sweet and also less dry, characteristics that make it they make it more likeable for a general public, but at the same time less unique. I liked Loewe 7 Cobalt for the addition of aromatic herbal notes without going directly to the side of blue fragrances, but it does share some elements with that type of perfume. It should also be recognized as a versatile fragrance, almost multi-season, but preferably spring and autumn, to be used in any situation. Its longevity on my skin was approximately 9 hours, feeling good for the first hour and then it decreases in intensity. In summary, it is a likeable, aromatic and fresh fragrance, but my recommendation is that you go and try it in the store before making a blind purchase.

  • em inglês

This is really nice. I was a bit skeptical about Loewe 7 Cobalt with all the claims that it's as good as or better than Bleu de Chanel, but something about this always piqued my interest so I recently took the plunge on a blind buy and I've got to say, this absolutely lives up to the hype! For me it combines BDC with the Polo Blue dna and Dior Homme Sport 2021. That's basically the vibe going on with this and I am here for it! The incense is more natural smelling than in BDC (the edt which gets kinda metallic for me) and the overall blend is simply excellent. I couldn't stop sniffing myself and the wafts this gives off are just so good. Signature scent worthy stuff, very easy to wear in any season, versatile enough for practically any situation, and it also lasts longer on me than the Chanel. In my opinion this is hands down the best alternative to BDC out there right now. That said it's not a clone by any means, just a different and high quality take on that scent profile. All in all a super solid release by Loewe (pronounced Lo-wey-vey) and if you like the popular designer blues especially BDC, you will enjoy this!

  • em inglês

This was my first blind buy and let me tell you, my thoughts shift constantly. At first I really was upset because I prefer unisex fragrances and this leans very masculine, almost cloyingly so. Hated this. I could taste it every time I wore it. You can easily overdo it and it will stay with you. It’s a very earthy and smokey scent, that has this almost dingy dried herbal medicine presence. I definitely get the sage and incense. The black currant is there, but to me it’s more reminiscent of the taste of dried black currants. Then you get the vetiver/pepper mix that is almost hard to describe without just saying icy/chemical. I put it on my shelf for a year and never touched it, in fact almost gave it away. Then I started reaching for it a bit at the later end of last year. Now I’ve been alternating it in, and enjoying it. Everything I got initially is still there, but it’s not like many other things I’ve smelled and I guess now I like it. Its staying power is really next level too, and without really changing too much. Definitely don’t recommend blind buying, but I’m very happy I kept it.

Overall Rating: 9/10 Loewe 7 Cobalt is a standout fragrance, especially if you’re into blue scents. Here’s why I think it deserves a solid 9/10. Scent: 10/10 The scent is amazing. It starts off fresh and aromatic, thanks to the sage and incense. As it dries down, the tonka bean adds a warm, slightly sweet touch. It’s unique and works well for both day and night. Performance: 9/10 This fragrance lasts a good 8-10 hours, so you won’t need to reapply throughout the day. It’s reliable and long-lasting. Sillage: 8/10 The sillage is just right—not too strong, but enough to get noticed. It leaves a nice trail without being overpowering. Pros: Unique Scent: The mix of sage, incense, and tonka bean makes it stand out. Long-Lasting: Stays on all day with just a few sprays. Versatile: Great for both casual and formal settings. Underrated: Despite being less known, it’s as good or even better than popular blue fragrances like Bleu De Chanel EDP or Sauvage EDP. Cons: Price: It can be a bit expensive, but it’s worth it for the quality. Availability: Not as easy to find as some other fragrances.

Arguably the best fragrance in my small collection. I bought this blind (dangerous) based on School of Scents YouTube review and I'm so glad a did. I'm confused by what is a "blue" fragrance, but this is exactly what my head tells me it is. Prior to getting the fragrance bug, I had both Blue de Chanel and D&G ligh blue as my two bottles over many years, so I figured I was a 'blue" fragrance guy. Having purchased several new additions described as "blue " and finding them to smell night and day different, I was struggling to define it. This is hands down the best blue I have. I'd chose this over Blue De Chanel every time, it's fresh, aromatic, herbal, clean and soapy all at the same time, but also refined and classy but versatile enough to wear casually. It's beast mode on me, 6 sprays - two neck/chest, two on wrists each side and set for the day. I wore this for work involving a commute and a 12 hour trip and I could still smell it when I got home. So yes it's not a cheap cheap fragrance, but a bottle is going to last a long long time! 10/10 for me.

  • em inglês

I believe that this fragrance doesn’t receive the same hype as other “blue” fragrances like YSL Y EDP, Bleu de Chanel or Sauvage, but the Loewe 7 Cobalt is definitely an amazing alternative for the other fragrances that were mentioned before. The opening is very clean and soapy, with some fresh spices. The smell doesn’t change over time, except the tonka beans aroma which comes very slow. The performance is very long in my opinion, like between 10-12 hours. The sillage is also strong, and suprinsingly, it is the first fragrance where I got multiple compliments in a short period of time, so I can say, it is a safe buy. I have seen that the fragrance has a harsh price especially for a designer fragrance, but you can find them at a very rational price online or fragrance stores in Spain and Portugal, where I got it. In conclusion, I believe that Loewe 7 Cobalt is a step up from my YSL Y EDP, since it has more of a serious scent to it instead of that sweet apple tone, but works at any kind of environment without offending someone.

I’m really glad I finally added this one to my collection. I had seen a lot of people talking about it, but kept putting it off. Definitely wish I picked it up sooner. This is an excellent take on a blue fragrance. I understand the comparisons to Bleu de Chanel, but only in a loose sense. It opens aromatic and slightly spicy, with a subtle sweetness from blackcurrant. As it dries down, the incense and vetiver start to come through and gradually take over, giving it a more refined and slightly darker edge. It honestly feels like a niche interpretation of an everyday blue scent, but done with more character and depth. There’s also a fougère-like quality here, almost like a fusion of a clean barbershop fragrance and a modern blue. It comes across very put together, smooth, and confident. Performance is solid. Moderate projection for the first few hours, with around 7 hours of longevity on my skin. Overall, this is classy, versatile, and extremely well blended. I love it and will definitely be picking up a backup bottle.

  • em inglês

Opens with a beautiful black currant note that isn't sweet but is tart/sour (not in a bad way). The tartness of the black currant is backed with a slightly smoky incense and uplifting pink pepper notes. Earthiness from the vetiver and spiciness from the cloves combine in the base and really provide nice longevity. It smells great! I got it off a discounter and I'm pleased with my purchase. This is too deep and complex to be considered a "blue" fragrance, in my opinion. Really great stuff. As a side note, this has a fantastic atomizer. Sprays like a firehose. I initially bought this to be a summer fragrance but it could possibly be a little too heavy with the incense note, only time will tell. EDIT: 7 Cobalt is a great fragrance. It is at the same time a blue fragrance that is suitable for summertime wear and also incredibly unique. Sillage fills a room and longevity is insane. If you can grab this at a discounter it's an absolute steal. Very slept on. Worth gatekeeping this one.

7 COBALT by the Spanish Brand LOEWE 🪵🌿🫐 Oh boy! Finally a fragrance has returned my faith to the perfumery. It’s just MIND BLOWING A Smile puller The opening is juicy/fruity (The Creed Aventus Cologne ghost is definitely there) so that, the first impression will be pleasant. Incense? Oh YEAH, however not the ecclesiastical or the unwearable challenging one, in fact Cobalt 7 has the friendliest smoky note I’ve tested. In some point of the developing, I get a Bay rum leaf vibe. The Dry down is highly EARTHY, LEVEL GOD! not old schooler but very modern. And yes, a compliment galore: a coworker told me that I smelled better than “THE MACYS STORE” :) and my WIFE’s cousin got close to me twice and said “Tu hueles muy Rico” (smell awesome) Super elegant, versatile, for the office or any formal occasion. *please do not waste it for daily or sporty wear, this one is so special. Bravo LOEWE RATE: 🏆

  • em inglês

First impression: Opening is kind of synthetic, but once it starts drying down you can feel the quality. Great blue fragrance, elegant and smooth, perfect for professional settings. Some similarities with ADG Parfum and BDC Parfum, two other fantastic options for the office. Ill need to try it more to determine the performance but seems to be good. Well deserved hype. Next impression: After wearing this for a week, my thoughts are very similar. However, I found some earthiness in the first hour that I don ́t feel in the next hours and that is very good. Highly surprised by the depth of this perfume. Scent: 9/10 Elegant, fresh and classy. Specially lovely after the first hour Longevity: 8/10 Good for a blue fragrance Sillage: 7.5/10 Good, I always demand more from great scents Overall: 8.7/10 Safe blind buy, perfectly balanced for mature/modern men One word to describe: POLISHED DEMEANOR

  • em inglês

This is an instant love for me. From the first moment I sprayed it on, it took me back to some of the older style spicy masculine fragrances, and at the same time felt modern and familiar. Reminded me in many ways of the old spice my dad wore many years ago, and simultaneously of something in the BDC family. I actually prefer this, if I am being honest, to a considerable number of other fragrances in my collection that have similar intended purpose. I completely disagree with the folks here that say this is 'generic' or 'not unique enough'. There is a distinct quality to this that even non-fragrance people seem to resonate with. At least, in my personal experience. Performance is great, and it was very reasonably priced considering the quality. I understand now why this is rated as highly as it is. Deserves a high score.

  • em inglês

This fragrance is like a mix of every blue fragrance you know with just a touch of barbershop DNA. I can find a bit of Rochas L'hommes fizzy barbershop opening and the sage from YSL Y Intense. I even get a little bit of Lalique white, maybe because of the pink pepper. Then in the drydown it becomes around 80% similiar to Bleu de Chanel. I have never smelt Aventus Cologne, so I cant compare it with that. Overall its a gorgeous fragrance with great performance. It lasts 12 hours easily on my skin. A compliment magnet. Very elegant bottle too. However it resembles too many other popular blue fragrances. I wish it had something more distinctive like just a touch of tobacco or leather or almond maybe... But if you can find it for a good price its worth it. Smell- 10/10 Performance - 10/10 Uniquenes - 6/10 Price - 6/10

Got this at a great price recently online and very impressed. School of Scent hyped this and I think he's one of the more trustworthy YouTube faces, saying it was blind buy safe and I'd fully agree. At its core it's got that fresh shower gel blue feel BUT also has this gorgeous mysterious dark smokey vibe to it making you stand out but this is blended so well to not get too dark and heavy to become off putting, it's blue and black perfectly complementing one another. It's powerful too. I could smell one single spray on my arm in the car after buying to test and it filled the space around me no problem and lasted good few hours. A One season wonder and a compliment beast. This is for the guy who wants to smell great and show they know their fragrances as not everyone will know about Loewe 7 Cobalt!

  • em inglês

This fragrance is in the same DNA as the BDC line. It sits in-between BDC EDP and Parfum. To my nose, the difference is that 7 Cobalt is slightly sweeter due to the blackcurrant and slightly smokier due to the incense and vetiver. However, these notes does not make this cloying or headache-inducing - it is well balanced. In comparison, BDC EDP is more fresh and bright whilst the Parfum is subtle and heavy. As a result, I find this scent to be far more versatile than BDC EDP and Parfum. Performance-wise, the scent have lasted an average 10 hours and sillage is within 5 feet radius for at least 3 hours. Overall, 7 Cobalt strikes a balance between the BDC EDP and Parfum. I do not find it redundant if you already own the BDC line and is a welcome addition to any collection.

  • em inglês

This is an absolutely stellar blue fragrance — bold, magnetic, and dare I say... a dead ringer for Bleu de Chanel EDP! To my nose, it’s easily 90% BDC EDP — so similar, it almost feels redundant to own both. That said, where this one *truly* shines is in its performance. The projection is incredible, creating a rich, long-lasting scent bubble that turns heads. The vibe is deep, sophisticated, and unmistakably *dark blue* — definitely not your breezy summer spritz. It’s got depth, elegance, and a moody edge that makes it better suited for cooler evenings or dressed-up occasions. And thanks to the high-quality naturals in the blend, it evolves beautifully on the skin, changing subtly with temperature, chemistry, and even the season. Bravo to the creators

  • em inglês

For a blue fragrance, this has crazy good performance. Lasts a full working day, easily 8+ hours and strong projection for most of that time. Even after that it's a skin scent for a few more hours so great all day choice. To me it smells like YSL Y EDP but less fruity and more woody. The clove note stands out a bit so this I'd say is less universal than Y. Good office and daily wear option if you like a louder fragrance, very easy recommendation but still an interesting choice as it isn't a complete clone of anything. UPDATE: After wearing this a lot more, I can say the clove note stands out from the rest and is too overbearing. It's still a nice daily wear choice but the clove is too heavy and a little bit headache inducing after a while.

  • em inglês

This isn't as mindblowing as people say it is. This smells classy, well put-together, handsome etcetera. It also smells "expensive." It's not life changing by any means. It is not a reinvention of the wheel. It fits the "blue" genre while dodging the urge to make the scent too sweet; it teeters on the edge of smelling old fashioned, even. It's riding the line between newer trends and classic perfumery. It is riding that line very well. I enjoy it a lot. Good performance, good value, good versatility, etc. Safe blind buy for someone in their 20s or older. The youth of today would find this too soapy and spicy - it lacks the nauseating sweetness we are so well acquainted with these days.

  • em inglês

I'm halfway through my bottle and this stuff is so strong that I started disliking the scent, thinking something went wrong that is smells so bad. I stopped using it for a week and it smells so good again. I got a compliment 8 hours after applying 3 sprays on skin. My parents both hate the smell (though they only smell the opening because when I spray it inside they can smell it 3 rooms away in seconds if the doors are open. If anyone says this is weak, than they just went noseblind for assaulting their nose by staying in a room where it was sprayed. Got a 50ml in Spain for €50 and I'm very happy with my purchase.

  • em inglês

I FIGURED IT OUT! Back when I bought this fragrance in Spain, it was literally 45°C there. And this smelled insane - fruity, soft spicy and herbal in the opening. When I got back it started to smell worse - blue linalool "arctic extreme frost man product" with earthy notes type fragrance... Today I sprayed under my shirt (which I don't usually do) and it smells Fruity again! It's the heat! Your skin is way warmer under clothes than exposed wrists and it is more humid there too. So people who say this is just a boring/of putting product - try spraying under clothes and thank me later!

  • em inglês

Just blind bought this and although it’s not original it does smell good. Im getting a mix of bohemian lime, speed legends living on the edge, ADG Profumo, L’immensite, DH2020 & DHS2021. It’s just got that typical “most masculine” blue scent for lack of better words, but women usually love this type of scent on men, especially older & more mature ones who don’t want you to smell feminine or unisex & wear something they would wear. This ain’t for you TikTok kids who wanna smell fruity like with pothole, limonata & pacific chill. This is a classic gentlemen’s cologne type shit.

  • em inglês

I use this everyday at the office. Very clean and mature profile, without being boring. However, it's not a fragrance one would want to use if the objective is to impress or stand out, even though my fiancée likes it, I think this is not a compliment getter if that's what you're seeking. Feels high quality, but the longevity on me seems to not be great. 4-5 hours post-spray and I feel like it's a skin smell only, lacks projection post the first 3 hours, but that's fine for me and for how I use it. In my opinion it's a perfect fragrance for everyday use.

It smells somewhat generic at first - Initial impression "Yes, this is cologne. This is a fragrance." There's a reason every other review you'll find mentions something else that it smells like. But once you give it a moment it relaxes into a super swell blackcurrant/vetiver moment with a touch of sage, and then sage/pepper. It's interesting. I like it. Overall impression is kind of like the tartness and acidity left in your mouth a while after you've eaten a blueberry. Longevity is okay. You'll get roughly an 8 hour shift of it being pretty low key.

I already own a rounded Loewe 7 bottle from 2016 (150ml Special Edition) and I can pick up the same incense and the peppery note (but in this Cobalt one, it's pink pepper). It opens with a beautiful black currant note and some sage. With only 2 sprays, it lasts for 8 hours at least (up to 10 hours) and has a good projection as well (100-150cm) It's even sexier and better than the original Loewe 7. Fall and spring seasons are the best for this gem. A bit similar to BdC EDP with incense and strong pink pepper. 8/10 €45 / 50ml Batch 01014149 (01/2021)

A good aromatic fragrance, It has a good amount of freshness and cleanliness but with a herbal, almost old school touch. A good note of Currant, not too fruity or sweet but quite sharp, almost lemony, and a good dose of sage too, I think the vetiver/sage/cloves combo gives this nice aromatic touch and "80's" vibe. I think it's a good fragrance that merges the current fragrance "recipe" with a more classical one. It has somewhere inside the Sauvage-Aventus vibe too, but it's not too much present to my nose.

deleted the original review here, was not that at all. was 17 and blind bought this... edited version: darker smelling blue fragrance, you can wear it to the office or with a suit. dont compare this to mass appealing stuff like bdc, sauvage or aventus. earthy but also a bit fresh. it is def still a masterpiece, and a true underrated gem if you want it. starts with the blackcurrant and goes to the vetiver/earthy notes quickly. I usually wear this with a blue suit to grown up parties (now 19)

It’s an amazing fragrance on the “office-safe” direction. I really enjoy how it smells, performs and lasts, and it feels like it fits perfectly along fragrances like BdC, Sauvage, Y EDP, while also being distinct from those. Definitely enjoy it. I do think that the retail price is detached from the smell(it’s a designer for sure, but priced above Chanel), but this could easily be your favorite dumb reach fragrance. Easily wearable 365 days of the year and never out of place. Very versatile.

Loewe 7 Cobalt, The scent is fresh, reminiscent of shaving cream or aftershave musk. It is long-lasting and projects well. I recently sniffed it on a man I met in a hospital in Istanbul and immediately decided to buy a bottle. I think it is a masterpiece, it stands on its own and is surprisingly pleasant in hot weather. I think this perfume has somehow missed the attention it deserves. If it had reached more people we would see it on the bestseller list now.

It's not a knee buckling 'wow', then very few of this type are. But this is really (really) good. Not sure fragrantica's listed accords capture this so well, suggesting a darker experience (amber, smoky?). This is more like an aromatic, lively, aquatic Blue de Chanel, very smooth with it. EdP concentration, performance is decent. Full retail was close on £150/100ml but the odd offer comes up at the usual discounters at £100, thats a steal. 4.5/5

... simply stunning... it gets so many compliments.. it's just a fresh, blue, fuzzy, aromatic fragrance bomb.. it lasts a good while too! ... it's really different to the other 7s - the elixir in particular is so balsamic / aromatic (challenging? but nice when it dries a bit) - but cobalt is modern, airy, breezy, and great for anytime use! ... will make you stand out and get you compliments and should give you confidence - 10/10 fragrance!

I blind bought a bottle of this. I also bought a 2nd backup bottle shortly after smelling the first blind buy. I still have 95% of the first bottle remaining and havent even opened the 2nd bottle. But Im strongly considering buying a 3rd bottle, just to make sure I never run out. Ever. For context, I have around 175 mostly niche fragrances. I want a 3rd bottle of this though. But thats it. Thats the review. Make of it what you will.

I originally didn't like this. I got a strong sauvage/ aventus note that I really hate but after wearing it a couple more times I haven't smelt that again and I like it so much I want a bottle (I have a 2ml decant). The incense note is really well blended and I get hints of the blackcurrant too. It's like an elevated blue fragrance. Very classy. Edit: I bought 150ml. This will definitely become one of my staple scents.

This is a solid choice. Based on the Currant not I thought it would be fruity, but to me it smells almost like a more complex Orpheon with incense replacing the powdery notes. The notes also lean masculine rather than unisex, but that’s up to your taste. The sillage is good, but longevity is lacking. I would love if they had a travel version to keep in my pocket to freshen up.

Beautiful freshie with a heathery kick. Love it! Very similar to a Blue De Chanel but with a peppery twist. I have a very large collection and I reach for this one often. (very unusual and says I see that Fragrantica has this as a 4.39. This is a high rating and is accurate. A very safe blind buy if you like freshies. I give this one a 9.5, buy with confidence.

Makes me think of what a high-end barber shop would smell like if made into a fragrance. Might be considered a bit old school by some. To me, it is a classy, mature, clean, and inoffensive scent. Perfect for casual or business attire that you could potentially even wear year round for the work day (but with so many great "winter only" scents why would you.).

While I typically don't enjoy blue fragrances, this one stands out nicely with a sophisticated twist. Although it may not be earth shattering, Cobalt presents itself as a more mature, polished take on the Bleu genre. The vetiver and incense keep it from feeling bland and generic, while adding depth to the overall composition.

After some testing from stores and samples, I finally got a full bottle. This is a masterpice, in my opinion. Versatile and all year around scent. This will not offend anyone, and still, you will smell amazing. Maybe not be the loudest projection, but trust me, you will feel amazing when having this on. Very underrated brand.

Classic and modern at the same time. Not sweet, not fruity, but smoky, aromatic and earthy, with an unexpected airy impression thanks to the underlying subtle incense. Wonderful fragrance aura. Perfect business fragrance. Overall a wonderful fragrance with good performance and strong 80s/90s vibe. Exactly my thing.

I bought this without knowing or caring that much about fragrances just because it caught my eyes and my nose. But as time went by, and now that I'm starting to get into the fragrance nuance, this one is incredible. Very subtle compliment grabber. I'm probably gonna return to this for daily usage/office fragrance.

I’ve had this since the day it came out in Spain and I must say buying a new bottle I think it has been reformulated however this could be that it hasn’t macerated enough it’s been 2 months already and I’m still noticing its lack of depth to when I first got it and it smelling more soapy could be reformulated ffs🤬

An elevated niche easy everyday blue fragrance. Like a better BDC parfum. I wear it in the office all the time, smooth and clean shaving cream vibe. With some nice incense mixed in there. Another 10/10 blind buy on my list. Wear it anytime of year day or night and you won’t smell like a basic Macy’s blue boy.

Currently my personal favorite. I wanted to hate it what with the yearly hyped up blue scents. It’s not reinventing the wheel but it strikes a perfect balance of fresh shower gel vibe and classy elegance. Smooth and manly as a female coworker described it. Well done Loewe you are currently my signature scent
