Paula's Ibiza Cosmic

So I’m on this mango bender. Not a “cleanse,” not some Gwyneth Paltrow stunt. Just me chain-chewing them like a fruit bat out of hell. Fresh mango, mango yogurt, mango sorbet, mango beer. If someone sold mango cigarettes, I’d be sparking ’em off with a gas station blowtorch. Obsessed. 🥭🔥 You know that point where compulsion totally goes off the rails? When you eat yourself stupid until you hurl or catch some weird-ass allergy and swear it off for the next decade? Yeah. I’m one mango away from that. But until then, I damn well want to smell like one too. Problem is, most mango notes in perfume smell like gummy worms cooked in a meth lab. Or worse, that dumpster-juice stench of an overripe mango at the bottom of the fruit bowl. Either it’s chemical sugar slop or rotten-fruit funk. 🤢 Magic Mango by Fugazzi and Black Mango by BTSO are still on my radar, but everything else I’ve tried so far? Blegh. Total trash fire. Enter Paula’s Ibiza Cosmic. I spray it and oh. Oh. This is it. Juicy ripe mango, creamy coconut, sweet-sour pear, soft woods, hot resin dripping like sweat. Underneath, something ambery, honeyed, almost leathery. Starts purring, then growls. Tropical, chewy, but in that addictive, can’t-stop-smelling-yourself way. 🥴🫠 And yeah, fruity woody is a thing. Fight me. Not all men should smell like your dickhead boss in oakmoss, or some 90s everyman dripping Cool Water and loserdom. Just as not all women need to be drowned in bubblegum fruit or mothball florals past their prime. Enough. 2025 deserves better mashups. Like this. The vibe? Guys in their 20s or 30s, ripped shorts sticky from last night’s beer, mellowed out with blunts and King Gizzard with Tropical Fuck Storm on loop. Girls in crop tops, belly rings flashing, burnt-pink shoulders, piercings, tattoos, purple hair. Basically, people who’d sell you bad mushrooms at a psych-rock festival and call you “man” even if you’re a chick. Never been that type, not my scene tbh, but sometimes I crash into those moods. Which is why this was an instant impulse buy. Normally I stick to knives-out citruses and aromatics in summer, but this one seduced me differently. I caved. Hard. The only downside: on me it lasts maybe three hours, with only moderate sillage. And that opening, the juicy mango hit I adore, vanishes faster than your dealer when cops roll in. I’d pawn my worst best friend’s soul to keep it blasting longer. Others swear they get more, so maybe it’s just my skin clowning me. Or maybe that’s the point. Good things die young. Bottle’s a win though. Round, sunset-orange, trippy as a lava lamp. Finally Loewe did something different instead of clinging to their boring rectangle IKEA-shelf aesthetic. The biggest mystery is why this isn’t hyped. Where’s my chaos, my cult, my TikTok teen crying in Ibiza saying this perfume “changed her life”? 🤨 Other niche brands peddle literal floor cleaner and call it “edgy,” while this gem sits ignored. Loewe drop one banger for every five duds and can’t even push it right. Their marketing team must be in a coma. Or dead already. Wake the hell up, Loewe. Anywho, this def felt like a damn lucky find. Like pulling a crumpled $10 bill from a thrift jacket pocket. Or finding an unsmoked blunt under the couch cushion. Score. 🔥 And for once, I didn’t even recognize myself: a sweet mango-coconut fragrance by Loewe? Guess I really pushed it with the mangoes. Still, stepping out of character now and then is good. Keeps you from spinning the same old wheels. 🌌✨🥭 4.5/5. Just get it while you can. Loewe’s track record says they’ll probably kill it off like they always do. This is that unshakable mango high you’ll be jonesing for every summer to come.

Got a generous decant of this scent thanks to a work friend who just returned from a holiday in Spain. My initial impression is that Paula’s Ibiza Cosmic it’s a woodier version of Xerjoff’s Erba Gold. And a more unisex fragrance, without being a masculine scent. I see major similarities between these two beautiful fruity fragrances. Loewe’s scent is more summer/fall scent for me while Xerjoff is more of a spring/summer scent. I’ d say Paula’s Ibiza Cosmic is slightly less sweet and more amber heavy while Erba Gold has that amped up sweetness that I personally love in perfumes, a brighter, citrusy opening and a heavy dose of vanilla in the dry down. Even though the fruity notes are different, they end up smelling similar somehow. Price wise, Loewe’s the obvious winner without any doubts at about a third of price I paid for my bottle of Erba Gold! From what I can see it advertised online, it’s way more cheaper than Xerjoff. But since I already have a big bottle of Erba Gold I don’t think I need Paula’s Ibiza Cosmic unless I would buy it as a replacement for Erba Gold, when I finish my EG bottle! Comparing the performance, Erba Gold is stronger on me than Ibiza Cosmic. So there’s pros and cons for both of these perfumes, depending upon what’s important to each person. To summarise, I love Paula’s Ibiza Cosmic. I want a 50 ml bottle but not immediately since it’s still summer and I have something similar in my collection already. I will have to give it credit, Loewe’s creation is beautiful nonetheless but not entirely unique as scent. And very decently priced if we compare it to the latest releases from YSL, Burberry, Paco Rabanne, Prada, JPG, Lancome and other similar European designer houses!

Oof! First review is a little bit intimidating but I will do my best. First, I have all three of the “Paula’s Ibiza” frags and each of them are unique in their own ways: the original for its bitter green galbanum note, “Eclectic” for the feminine and creamy ylang and incense take on a beachy fragrance, and “Cosmic” with its very unisex woody mango fragrance. Each of them are tied together by a sunscreen like coconut note that immediately transports the nose to memories of applying sunscreen at the beach. Of the three fragrances, I personally find Cosmic to be the most approachable and universally appealing. The Mango sits on your skin with beautiful blended sandalwood and coconut creaminess. There’s a bit of amber sitting in the base but not enough to turn the scent too resinous. Pear also shows up giving the fragrance a sort of cooling fruitiness. And of course it wouldn’t be a “Paula’s Ibiza” fragrance without a lotion like coconut accord in the middle... It’s a fairly linear, simple, and easygoing fragrance. For me it’s a perfect match for wearing with some of my more tropical resort wear outfits. There is something about it that reminds me of a tiki bar - tropical drinks in a bamboo hut... it’s an effortless vibe for sure, but it definitely doesn’t stand out in the way that the original does. It’s my second favorite of the line with the original still at the top and “Eclectic” underneath. If you like smelling like mangoes, I say give this fragrance a try. It has a moderate projection and 6 hours of longevity on me. Also I enjoy layering this with “Sunny Side Up” from JHAG just to give it slightly more creamy depth.

This is for me a tropical take on the original Paula's Ibiza, coconut and fruity notes with a "sunscreen" feel is what i recognise by smelling this, from the opening to the drydown pretty linear in scent profile. I've just had this on me 3-4 times and have already received a lot of compliments, funnily enough one by a waitress in a cocktail bar saying it smells like a "very sexy pina colada". As a man myself I think this is the most masculine leaning out of the 3 even though it is completely unisex. I would save this up to wear in the late spring & summertime. Longevity on me is like 5-7 hours with a moderate projection, that being said, it is worth a purchase imo, but maybe it would be worth it to wait for it to reach retailers, even though Loewe is typically not so easy to find outside of europe. Final score for me is a 8/10, i like it a lot but it is not something completely new in the dna and longevity could be better for this price range.

... this is an amazingly fruity / floral that dries into a wonderful vanilla / still fruity & floral - but much more toned down... ... and this lasts FOREVER.. it's really strong on application and you can smell this for hours afterwards - on clothes, forget about it - they'll smell like a tropical island forever! ... this does have whiff of Mancera's Sicily, but I would say not as floral (which I love, don't get me wrong) it's a great daytime smell, I wouldn't go on a night out with it, but it's a great all-year smell (no problem with it cutting through the cold weather) if you want those tropical / summer vibes... ... great to layer with other fragrances (vanilla / sweet ones) - a really great buy - 8/10 fragrance!

This is an interesting one. Like the original in the series, it definitely has a vintage vibe, 1980s Balearic Beats feel. Unisex but dries down a bit more woody, a bit more masculine. Lovely labdanum underscore. Maintains the driftwood note of the original. Mango and coconut are there, but it’s all tied together with the pear and sandalwood. Deep down the cedar, resin and cypress are detectable and add a sharp pinch to the creamy fruitiness. There is definitely a camphorous accord deep in there. Longevity is good, projection moderate. Good performance overall. Quality is there. Packaging on point.

I am personally very in love with this perfume. The initial spray reminds me of a very old limited edition B&BW scent that I adored. It swiftly develops into a light, creamy, woody floral that stays close to skin but wafts allllllll dayyyyyy if I spritz a light amount on my clothes. To me, this is fruity without the sticky sweetness, but it doesn't lean too green. The woodiness and creaminess sits really well with my skin chemistry and feels like a gentle fruit scent without being childish or overly musky and sharp - it's the perfect fruity fragrance for people like me.

A Sweet, woody-amber driven fragrance. AMBROXEN? I swear i smell it. Mango makes tropical, coconut blends it. I smell more pear than mango; however this is not just a fruity fragrance. Smells similar to something in my past but I cant place it yet but I do not get anything remotely like Mango Skin (except for the mango) . Original = synthesizers and pool parties, Eclectic = beach breeze, volleyball and drinks, Cosmic = hanging w friends, mellow, tie dye shirts, and laughter. Maybe it’s cause it’s the first time I wear it, but it’s been on me for 24 hours and I can still smell it! Insane! It was very noticeable still 12 hours in, now it’s just if I smell my wrist but I can definitely still smell it. And, contrary to most other fruity scents I’ve tried, the mango doesn’t fade at all, it’s fruity the whole way through with some muted wood coming in at 8-10 hours in. But still, 24 hours in can still smell the mango Highly highly recommend, beautiful scent

I tested this today, in a Sephora in Hong Kong and I must admit that it smells awesome....it's a tropical fruit (mango & pears) combined with fresh if you ask me, it lasted for approx 8-10 hrs on my skin. The price for it is approx 985 HK Dollars for 50 ml, which I believe it's overpriced for this quantity. But definitely I like it and I'm gonna buy it soon, it's perfect for the summer-ish weather and when you go to the beach :) (Greece, Italy).

Warning - if you can barely smell this fragrance, you may be partially nose blind to it. This is not a weak performer. I was somewhat nose blind at first but now i see :) - i could barely smell the fragrance but I could make out notes, it smelled like a weak frag - so I thought it was a dud. Give it a moment to settle and for your nose to warm up to it. I think it is a fabulous fragrance for summer at a fabulous price point. Stay Fab, dab

It’s creamy from the sandalwood and coconut, but not lactonic. It’s sweet and fruity, but not juvenile or too feminine. It’s comforting and woody so it’s nice in cool weather, but also tropical and the fruitiness shines in warm weather. And I can’t sing its praises enough in sillage and longevity, it lasts all day on skin, days on clothes, and I can smell it on myself all day. It’s so, so lovely, my favorite discovery of the year.

been waiting for this to get added! i love this scent so much. just randomly went to the store and this caught my eye and i immediately loved it. little did i know it would become my favorite scent ever. it's very strong on me, after a while i can't smell it anymore but i get comments all day. it is divisive though, i've gotten many people saying it's not their cup of tea. im so glad i've found this scent.

I left a review earlier - but I have to add that either in time my nose adjusted or it "macerated" - this fragrance now smells so dam good. Dam dam DAM! (in my Florida Evans voice) Originally I could barely smell but now I have no issue and it seems to project nicely- I have had several compliments. Sexy Sweetness- Really Nice, my favorite for the summer. I LOVE the Paula's Ibiza Collection - all 3!

My sister has this fragrance and after having a spray I fell in love and became obsessed with finding a bottle for myself. Notino delivered and I now have my own bottle so I can stop stealing sprays of hers. This is my favourite of the 3 in this line by far. It’s summery and beachy but without being overtly sunscreen. Really well blended mix of coconut fruit and woodsy smell. One of my faves

I’ve just blind-bought this perfume (after optimistically searching for a summer scent in the midst of snowy weather) and I have to say I’m shocked nobody has likened the dry down to Mojave Ghost?? The mango note definitely threw it off slightly at first but, as it dried, all I could think about was how familiar a smell it was— and then it hit me! It’s delightful either way, would recommend

Just received a sample and my oh my is this beautiful! I showered shortly after and it’s still on. My sibling compared this with similarity to Lattafa the kingdom for women however, I think that similarity is more vague but there! Both individual fragrances in their own right with Lattafa being strong and sweet but this being more relaxed. Just a chill guy/girl I smell a lot of pear

This is f%ckin awesome.. Sweet, but not cloying. Sweet, but good for hot weather. Opens tropical and fruity, dries woody and sweet. Can smell the mango in the opening but sneaks to the background rather quick. Much better than it's 2 predecessors imo. 8/10

A tropical gourmand! The mango is prominent like everyone has previously mentioned, but I keep coming back for the creamy coconut and rich sandalwood. Reminds me of waking up at a beach resort or going out for brunch on a Hawaiian island.

This is a perfect unisex chill fragrance. The first times I sprayed this the mango was predominant. After some weeks using it I noted more the woody notes. Loved it

The opening comes off as a more pleasing Erba Pura Magica with it being less in your face fruity sweetness and musks. I like the Sospiro offering but this is for someone who wants a less intense experience. At the same time it's no slouch. The EDPs and also the EDTs from this house pack performance. The thing that loses me is the fact Im reminded of shampoo or a body spray. Then again all scents in this category get that criticism anyway. It's fresh, a little soapy, and woody as well. It leans fem in the opening but I may just have to get used to it. The dry down becomes woodier but holds a certain amount of sweetness from the mango and coconut that reminds you of the tropical opening. This part is more unisex and finishes in this fashion. Overall, if I had never smelt Erba Magica or bought a bottle of Porthole this would have a place in my collection. At this point in my journey, this doesn't add much. Due to the size of my collection, I barely get to wear the other two mentioned, so this would sit. Overall, I would give this an 8/10 with average to above-average performance in all areas lasting 8-10 hours on skin. There is a certain balanced nature to this fragrance that gives it a vibe of its own. If you're looking for a good tropical scent that is more quality than the clone offerings, spend a few more dollars and get this. Samples are hard to come by but if you find one it's worthy of a try.

This flanker feels like running through a grove instead of sand, with sticky hands. Sun-scorched bark, rough and resinous, streaked with golden rivulets of mango sap, apricot flesh half-mashed between fingers. That first inhale is almost too much—sharp, raw, like the resin of a tree freshly wounded, a little bitter, a little burnt. But then, the softness unfurls. Pear nectar, smooth and cooling, like a balm over scraped knees. Cypress, crisp and grounding, its green whisper threading through the fruit’s bright chaos. There’s something cosmic about it, indeed, but not in a weightless, ethereal way—more like the feeling of touching something impossibly ancient, alive in its contradictions. Wild yet polished. A crash of elements that somehow, impossibly, develops to blend gorgeously!

This smells like a mango coconut syrup in the begging and it dries down to a warm amber/sandalwood in which you can still notice the mango. It's brilliantly long lasting and considerably strong. On my skin it remains sweet and warm throughout. Never spicy, just warm and comforting. It feels like it's 17:45h and your at the beach, the sun is hitting your skin and warming you up and also the mango body lotion you had put in earlier. The only thing I will say is that the only way this is woody is from the creamy-warm sandalwood, so not what you usually expect when the woody accord shows up. Brilliant and after wearing it on myself for a few days it's fully become a favourite of mine. Honestly, it's probably my favourite fruity scent.

Tried it on paper and bought it. Big mistake! On paper it was sweet and creamy, on my skin the sandalwood (maybe with the cedar?) smells like pickle juice, like in Santal 33. It is quite unpleasant. Try it on your skin before buying it. Fortunately, I got only a 50 ml and it was quite discounted, but still.... Now I am trying to layer it with heavy creamy vanilla and coconut fragrances to tame the pickle-y sandalwood as much as possible. Layering it with Cheirosa 39 and Jimmy Choo's Rose Passion it seems to be working...

10/10 Ever since it came out, I've been dying to test it out! what i can make out is that it is woody, floral and slightly sweet. Unfortunately, i don't smell any mango but i do predominately smell amber, sandalwood, pear and the Spanish labdanum notes. the projection on this fragrance is fairly strong and the longevity is fairly good as well. I hope to add this to my collection very soon!

While this doesn't totally wow me I would say it's blended really well and "plays nice" much more than several other tropical scents. The fruit is not sappy; the wood is calm and grounding. It's surprisingly soft, given the notes.

I get from this dry woods combined with a sticky mango. It is light wearing but has a lovely sunny, tropical vibe. The fruity, woody thing reminds me quite a bit of Vilhelm's Poets of Berlin, but more beachy. I like it!

A light, summery fragrance dominated by the note of juicy fruit (I feel apple). Fresh, crisp, and effortlessly wearable, it presents as a delicate skin scent.

Paula’s Ibiza Cosmic is yet another representation of the Erba Pura Effect. With the popularity of such an abomination, you can’t expect any less than neighbouring brands wanting a piece of the action. That’s all this is. The scent is led by mango, which is initially very bright, juicy and refreshing. However this somewhat pleasant tropical effect begins to get lost in a sea of sickly sweet vanilla, coconut and creamy sandalwood. There’s not much development, its cards are laid bare. It’s not awful, it’s a damn sight better than Erba Pura thankfully (although that’s not a tall order), but neither is it particularly good either. It’s just another fragrance you’ll smell and go “meh” and never think about it again.

Cosmic? What a Joke. Being an absolute fan of Loewe both in the fashion and perfume scene I was very excited to try this one. Meh, this is Loewe selling you their Pear signature paired with cheap smelling mango and peach, dusty sandalwood, a coconut that you'd find in a 5$ Walmart body spray and mediocre longevity. Of course all of that for 120€. Not a scrubber but not a keeper either, it smells like that girl who puts too much sunscreen on and showers with "Victoria's Secret Mango Smash", it smells ok but after a short while you'd rather stop being around her. Cosmically desceptive and disappointing. The bottle and box are pretty though. Do not blind buy any perfume.

Compared to its Eclectic sister this one is better and a tiny bit stronger. Here I can smell the mango, the sandalwood and something warm resinousness in the background. But that's all. Ok, it's az EDT, but God, it lasts about 5-10 mins on my skin. Like a body mist. This one is more tropical but really pale. If you want to wear something on the beach but you don't want to be loud or recognisable, sure it's a match. But I wouldn't waste my money on this either.

Well, this was so disappointing. It smells really mundane, boriiiing, not new. I was expecting it to be fresh and creamy, sophisticated and for the price, I wanted it to be like lavish vacation to Maldives. Instead I got frizzy trashy vacation to the beaches in New Jersey.

Smells exactly like Erba Pura. Just much less strong and more airy. Doesn’t last very long and smells very synthetic.

If you like this and it’s one for you, then I’m happy for you, because I wanted to like it, but I didn’t. At all. TLDR: It’s very sweet and swings more towards feminine-style perfumery on the unisex dial, to me. I’m a guy. I’m a big Loewe fan. I have eighteen bottles, several of them are discontinued fragrances that I’ve managed to pick up. I recently purchased eight 1.5ml Loewe samples that I wanted to try. This was one of them, and the first of the samples that I wore, on a very hot summer day. I really enjoy the original Paula’s Ibiza, mostly in the summer. I love the sharp, bitter greens which moderate the sweetness from the coconut, the citrus and the yellow florals. It’s not my favourite style enough to wear very regularly, but it’s always a nice change and a treat when I do choose it. Cosmic, however, was a hard no for me within just a few minutes, sadly. It’s not one of the ones I need to learn, or need to learn to appreciate; it was just not for me, ever. There was a pleasant, lifelike mango note within sixty seconds that sunk down into the syrupy mix with the coconut just as quickly, before all the sweetness developed. And yikes, was it sweet! I don’t love sweet. Inside the fruitiness, it was also a bit white floral somehow, and reading the breakdown and description, I don’t know where those impressions were coming from? I didn’t get much standout woods or resins, just a bucket of general assorted candy and a lot of disappointment. What was interesting, and somewhat of a relief, was that after maybe five or six hours (I wasn’t tracking it as I was not enjoying the experience) everything vanished and labdanum (I think) suddenly appeared, singularly, surprisingly, distinctly, but as a skin scent, like I’d never even worn Cosmic in the first place! Labdanum I do like, and I could still smell the nice leathery effect when I sniffed my arms the next morning. All I could think of whilst wearing it was of a cheap and cheerful drugstore skincare brand, a range that’s fun for teenagers, one with bright, busy packaging, a bit tacky looking, who have a strong, very sweet, non-descriptive, generic “fun” fragrance in all their products that is just about tolerable in the face wash for sixty seconds but nauseating in the creams and lotions! I considered this to be more feminine leaning, much more so than the original, but again, that’s just me. If you’re a guy and you like it, I’m pleased for you. However, as a fair warning to others, it’s very sweet, and did not deliver anything to me like the impression the description suggests. I shan’t wear it again and I’m glad I never blind-bought it. This is why samples work (counterintuitively for the companies I’m sure) but I think it’s better to have no sale than a sale and an unhappy customer. I’m big enough to be able to say that this one was just not for me. I can see why others might like it, and I wouldn’t be offended if I smelt it on someone else; that person just won’t be me.

I’m a bit confused with the pyramid here ... all I can smell is apples and pears. I have the og sample of this and notes listed are only: apple, sandalwood and vanilla - that’s it! Where the rest of notes came from? And why aren’t apple and vanilla even listen above? Can someone explain? Anyways... I personally don’t like this scent, I tried and gave it a go several times but the pear is too potent for me.

Loewe Cosmic is fresh juiced mango and amber woods, that is light enough in the opening to let the juice, juice away. There is coconut, that isn't so lactonic/milky, and later there as a hint as this dries down. It dries down 5-6 hours later more into a smoky amber with hints of mango and coconut. It is very faint at this point and honestly was low-moderate in projection from the very start, on me. I actually liked this after purchasing blind because there was no way to sample. Unfortunately it wasn't the mango I was looking for but I'm sure it is for many people. I can see anyone wearing this if they need that tropical fix with depth. Very unisex.

I get more sandalwood and coconut milk/cream than I do mango. It’s very creamy and woody with fruitiness flowing through. It’s very pretty but to me and my nose it’s no where near the tropical fruit basket that is Erba Gold/Erba Pura. It’s very lovely and I fell in love with a sample of this and have just purchased. Unfortunately my cap got stuck and my bottle is now cap-less but the perfume still sprays and doesn’t leak. FYI You do need to like sandalwood to enjoy this scent. Last a long time too thanks to its woody amber base.

I tested this on my skin this morning in Malaga airport, went and had some breakfast, researched it a bit, read a few reviews, looked at the notes, finished breakfast, smelt it again and decided I had found a rare gem! I can still smell the Labdanum note after 12 hours! I’ve not found a fragrance like it since Helmut Lang discontinued his signature fragrance so I really hope this doesn’t vanish into thin air anytime soon!

Wore this all week on a trip to the Dominican Republic after buying it in a gift shop. Such a beautiful perfume. The mango does not feel artificial on my skin at all. It's sweet, but not too sweet as it's balanced by my favorite scent family - woods. I'll be wearing this one as a pick me up for sure - I also want to get my hands on earth!

This perfume is so irresistible! It smells like woody Mingo with maybe some brown sugar. It is much much much better than Erba pura, And to be honest, I wouldn’t even compare the two. Yes they are both fruity, but that’s where it ends. This is in my top 10 for life. Highly recommend. This was a super successful blind buy for me.

Finally! So glad it has been added. This is a pleasant musky pear-mango cocktail with an ambery base and decent longevity. I just don't know if my tastes have evolved too much to favour "sophisticated" perfumes that this is a little bit basic for me. It was a bit disappointing that no coconut whatsoever is detectible in this.

This is the perfect balance of sweet, tropical, woody and summery. It’s not body spray and unlike Erba Gold it doesn’t have the spiciness. I thoroughly enjoyed this one except...the longevity is horrible. Doesn’t last on skin or clothes for me. Back in the hunt!

imagine if JHAG not a perfume has a sweet mango note but it smells nice i like it very crowd pleasing i don't think it projects or i just easily go nose blind but still its a beautiful scent

If you mixed Erba Pura with Devotion by D&G you will get this smell. It is nice, happy fragrance. Probably perfect for Ibiza holiday ;)
