Solo Atlas

Solo Atlas by Loewe is a floral, aromatic and amber fragrance. It has a floral, citrus and green opening, where neroli is the main note, which is accompanied by other white floral notes, perhaps gardenia or peony as stated in Fragrantica. Also from the opening and until the drying phase you can perceive the DNA of the Solo line, with the notes of mandarin and amber, but in this version they are not the main accords, since as I mentioned here the neroli flower shines by itself. This is one of the freshest versions of the Solo line, almost entirely for daytime use, but the amber base that it inherits from the original Solo could give it evening or nighttime use in summer. Mainly for casual use, outings with friends, school or office work. Its longevity has been good, with me reaching a little over 8 hrs. without problem and it is also noticeable during the first one. Solo Atlas is a unisex fragrance, I think it could be worn by men and women, because it is in the style of classic neroli colognes, but here with the DNA of Solo by Loewe. I like its aroma, so for lovers of fresh neroli-based fragrances it is a good recommendation, for those who are not, try it first.

Oh, and here is a precious nectar! I am speechless for this delicious hidden gem... A rather beautiful though common opening could mislead you, but be patient and wait, and behold the curtain opens and here is Néroli letting the protagonists of this masterpiece dance be incense and white flowers. You will not forget them easily. And they will never leave you. And for hours they will come back to visit you with a lucid vivacity that I have rarely encountered. And never forgotten. Hopelessly in love! I think it's wrong to position it as a masculine fragrance, I'd say unisex and perhaps even more feminine, women try it, it's really sensual... Nuclear duration and discreet projection, I'd say a perfect combination. A masterpiece on my skin.

In my oppinion every man should have a clean, bright, néroli fragrance - perfect for hot weather and for office wear. This one is not very unique, but what makes it special is the longevity. These type of summer, clean, néroli fragrances usualy don't last very long, but this one lasts 7-12 hours easily. Loewe did a great job here. Edit: I see how the salt and néroli combo could come abit weird for somebody. It feels almost like you are washing something with soap in the sea water. But I think it would be great for hanging around the beach bar wearing a crisp clean white linen shirt and feeling the salty breeze.

It was one of my impulsive purchases and I don't regret it. I loved it from the first sniff. To my nose, the most dominant note here is definitely neroli. It's like a more bitter version of Neroli Portofino. Smells more expensive than it is. I'd say that the longevity is pretty damn good and the sillage is fine for about 1h, then it's a bit weak. But I really appreciate it that this fragrance smells divine throughout its lifecycle, it never gets dull or generic. The drydown is even more bitter than the opening. Good deal for sure.

Amazing neroli, one of the best, and most unique. This is not sweet or creamy, instead it's bitter and oily. Smelled up-close, it is backed by olibanum, which gives depth and a slightly incensy feel, and some aromatic quality ( think of a basket of herbs dried by the sun ). The sillage develops a softer aura, and loses that herbal and incensy feel, and feels like something closer to a regular neroli scent. Solo Atlas makes me think of the Mediterranean hinterland, an everlasting sunset, a white shirt and brown hat ... A total gem.

Blind buy for the summer. I thought it would be fresh, clean, and meditative. I was wrong. Soapy, but not fresh. Something makes this unclean, un-fresh. The salt ? I don't know. First day wearing it, and it's not a big love. I will give it more time. By the notes, I hoped for a fragrance like Olibanum Profumum, but there is almost no resemblance. It's more like a darker Mugler Cologne. I feel like Loewe added some notes to make this more masculine than unisex, and these notes might be the culprit of taking the cleanliness away .

This is like Artisan Pure, but warmer, and with 2x the lasting power. There's lots of orange blossom in the opening and bitter orange leaf in the mid. It's not very salty, but you can notice it definitely. When it dries down you can notice all this is based on warm amber and lots or olibanum - not in a smoky way, but in a before being lit incence :D I guess. Lasts 7+, moderate since the beginning, will be brilliant in the summer (and probably project and last more).

This truly a beautiful scent. If you want a nice floral designer fragrance for men and can't find anything, then this is your pick. It's unique, so It does not remind of anything actually, which is a good thing. I don't think it smells like bvlagri wood neroli. Maybe in the same ball park but not a clone. This one smells better in my opinion. Loewe is such underrated fragrance house. Quality is really good with this one, almost niche like.

Had a free sample of this with a recent purchase. I don't normally like floral scent but there is thus mineral element with this that makes ut unique. So combination of the neroli, mineral and slight saltiness blend really well. It stays consistent in the dry down as well with a bit more of a woodsy element. Honestly this a lovely scent fir the confident man. I absolutely love it and just ordered a bottle.

One of the best kept secrets in the perfume industry: the answer to neroli that doesn’t vanish. It’s potent neroli and white floral, not dainty or feminine, but a fresh summer’s breeze in the salty Mediterranean orchards. If you want a stronger, lasting version of neroli portofino for a fraction of the price, you should be good to go. But beware, it’s really strong. Some sorcery must have been made.

I always thought I would not like green scents. But this. I was so wrong. I do not smell the fruit much, but more the fresh green plants with some water added?? It's the most nature like smelling fragrance I own, it's so fresh, fresh, fresh! Loewe is a quality house and this one is great. I love it. I feel fresh and clean just by spraying this on me. Sample first though.

a surprisingly long-lasting neroli with some salty accords to give a little bit of an aquatic feel. Reminds me of clean linens hung out to dry in a coastal area, which is a nice thought to have. A little reminiscent of freshies before the ambroxan blue wave became the norm, so i guess it is a little bit more mature feeling, but thats perfectly fine for me personally.

Lonewolf summed this up perfectly... But i will just add, the 1st spray is a fresh punch, awesome smell, so different to all the other Mwaaah scents out there at the moment. And then you find its discontinued..why!! I loved Gucci Envy, discontinued. I loved JPG2 ,discontinued. I'm beginning to think this is personal 🙂

How is it marked as "male"? Definitely unisex and love how it translates on my skin. An explosion of neroli and orange blossom, just up my street. Beautiful florals and sophistication in one mix, petitgrain and salt supports the main notes, and pink pepper adds punchiness.

Smells heavenly. In my opinion this is the best neroli scent out there. Sharp, zingy, very little sweetness. Unisex but leans a bit more masculine in my opinion. The performance is also really good for a fresh scent. A hidden gem 100%.

Another great perfume from this brand. Floral with the right amount of spice but gets more soapy as it dries down. It is original yet inoffensive, could be both signature and office scent.

If this was launched in 2021, I shouldn't be getting a production date of 2018-01-10 on checkfresh.com when I check the batch code. Really bizarre.

Smells fresh, floral, clean... It brings you happiness! It's like a happy song in a sunny day at the beginning of spring. It cheers you up :)

Both longevity and projection are enormous. It's growing on me, I like it more and more.

Someone else said it perfectly, a neroli fragrance with some balls.

This really smells lovely. Neroli, orange blossom, musk... it's very nice scent and a decent price point. Does it have amazing sillage? It's fair, I'd say. Does it project much? No. To me, it sits close to the skin and while I was able to smell it on myself, and others were able to smell it on me, when I moved around them or were very close to them, it's not a beast projector. However, what kind of surprised me was that even while the scent is fairly close to the skin and a bit light, I was EASILY able to smell it on me skin the next day. That's like 20 hours after having sprayed it. Not strong, but easy to detect and still quite pleasant. That was pretty awesome. So, I'm looking forward to wearing this some more this summer.

This is so similar to Artisan Pure John Varvatos. Suppose I had known that earlier, I would not take it. Varvator seems more refined, soft, and stable. Update. Ok with a little time, neroli feels good, stable, and sharp - this is what I actually looked for. Also met in this Neroli journey - Chopard Neroli cardamom - very similar, also a good one. This seems to lean more towards the unisex category. Its floral/soapy opening is a beast. It’s not a rose scent though but flowery/clean to my nose. Another very different frag as opposed from my others. I would put this in the same area as Moschino ToyBoy because of the floral-ish scent but not the same at all. I like it though it’s different. 👍 {edit} 12+ hour performance.

I can smell neroli/orange blossom, mastic, and little olibanum . It's fresh, but also woody at the same time. I'm not sure how they did it, but the freshness and the smell of neroli/orange blossom doesn't fade away, it's always there, even the dry down!! Lasts for very long, but doesn't project much.

A citrus/white-floral scent. Neroli is light, natural smelling and upfront throughout. Has a very clean, quiet, linen-aroma and would suit women as well as men. Good in the spring and summer. An inoffensive and approachable fragrance with ok projection and longevity.

It's just, okay. I'll give another week and see if I change my mind. Sooo many others out there that are better, IMHO. Update...it's good. Just had to wear it a few times.

It depends what you are looking for. This is a fresh synthetic mandarin. That's it. It projects and lasts several hours. I think its too strong and slightly offensive.

I thought it is a more citrusy, but it is not, It is more floral and ambery/balsamic than another typical neroli fragrance as I have collected quite a few neroli fragrance. It is very unique take of a neroli which is a good thing. I just blind buy it and try it. And I like it but not yet love. But I think it have a good chance to grow on me to love it. Seems to perform very good on my skin. No doubt it is a unique take of a neroli fragrance.

I've spent MANY years looking for a quality neroli fragrance that actually has balls. I have both Neroli Portofino and it's Forte flanker among many others but this is the one. Neroli Portofino Forte is damn good but check out what they're asking for a bottle right now! This to me is the perfect neroli fragrance. Exceptional quality and performance is AMAZING. Loewe does really good stuff at even better prices. Highly recommend this!

A fragrance with the most prominent note of neroli. In the ballpark of Neroli Portofino. It's in the middle between floral neroli and citrusy neroli. It has a mineral quality to it, maybe it's the bitterness other reviewers talk about. A really nice scent overall and it manages to stand out from other neroli frags in a meaningful way which I find is often a problem with neroli.

One of the best summertime perfumes I have ever smelled. Different, perfect for anytime during the warmer months and I would dare to say that even for cold weather. Very sexy and alluring. Perfectly unisex as well. Long lasting with a fabulous trail. What can I say? I love it!
