Solo Loewe Ella Eau de Toilette

I am usually drawn to elegant, classic perfumes but I gave this one a try and I am so glad I did! The fruits in here are much more natural smelling than you would expect from a designer perfume. The cotton candy lingers through the whole experience. So you will already smell it with the fruits when you spray it. It dries down to a peony and cotton candy scent. The cotton candy note in here is very well done in my opinion. You really get that cloudy texture with the individual little sugars, it is almost sparkling. It is suitable for spring and summer, during the summer maybe more during the evening time as it is sweet but tropical. Holiday feeling for people not loving the typical sun tan lotion kind of perfumes or coconut. I would wear this to a date with my boyfriend because it is flirty for sure. I can't imagine a men not liking this scent on you. Give this a try because it is surprisingly well done even if you are not a fan of sweet perfumes!

Starts very fruity and fresh. I'm not sure what passionfruits and pitayaha smell like but it sure evokes the imagery. A slight bit synthetic. But these notes fade pretty fast into a sweet and slightly tropical profile that settles on the skin for a long time. The sweetness is very pink and fun, almost flirty. It makes me very happy. The projection is just right so that someone talking to you would smell it quite noticeably but it does not distract nor does it project too far to someone walking by. If you smell it too close though it might induce headaches so don't do that. Quite a safe buy if you like a sweet and smooth fragrant with a fruity edge. But if you don’t like this pink cotton candy vibe in the heart notes then stay away because the sweetness is quite apparent. This fragrance is way too feminine for me as a man, but it makes me extremely happy imagining this scent on someone else.

I thought I ordered a sample of the Solo Ella EDP, but the EDT turned up - and I'm not sad about it! This is definitely fruity and sweet but in a lovely, warm way. Definitely one for summer evenings and one to take on beach holidays. It's cheering me up greatly on a cold January day. There's a hint of a chypre to this with added peach notes. It's drying down nicely on my skin into something a little more blended and generic (I've been wearing it for 4 hours and I can still smell it), but it doesn't sell cheap or synthetic. So now I've snagged a 30ml bottle in a sale, because why not?

my girlfriend liked this scent so much on me that she got me a bottle for valentine’s. she says it’s her favorite fragrance that i own. it’s a beautiful tropical, summery scent, it makes me feel like i’m on vacation, sunbathing and drinking cocktails. i just feel so pretty wearing this. the first time i sprayed this on my wrist i could still smell it on myself after about 6 hours so it’s pretty long lasting. i can’t wait to wear this and i have a feeling i’ll repurchase once i finish this bottle

This is the fitst time I am reviewing a new purchase within one week with a firm steady feeling. Love this. Just want to eat myself, a fruity gourmand and a compliment getter. Wow, bottle will be gone very soon. Im in Spain now and hope this Beautiful smell will be in my memory forever! Just go experience it.

Valaya’s tropical version indeed. I love this scent! And I found Arabic perfume which is ~80% similar to this one for 11 euro it’s Ajmal Elegancia - the opening is a bit different ( Ella opens up with passion fruit note, whereas Elegancia with passiflora the flower ) but the dry down is really similar!

I’m wearing it now on Tenerife ( hot weather) and it’s so good sparkling and refreshing yet sweet yet feminine and both day and night scent! I can’t get enough of it! good alternative to citrus perfumes , when you want to try something new to wear on a hot day!

I LOOOOOVE LOVEEE LOOOOOVE THIS FRAGRANCE. This is one of my FAVORITE fragrance of all time. I get compliments on it EVERY TIME I WEAR IT however I get snarky comments from men saying it smells too much like tangerines 😸💕

opening is quite synthetic, but in a fun way lol. like a tropical shampoo. drydown is absolutely stunning and lasts all day. such an easy reach and nice for layering

Valaya moved to Bermuda. If Valaya/Fleur Narcotique are the wedding, Solo Ella EDT is the honeymoon. Love at first sniff.

How quickly the top notes disappear on my skin and how fast the base comes through 🥹 In the opening, strangely enough, I smell tangerine with a hint of abstract exotic fruits. And quite rapidly, sandalwood starts peeking out and pushing all the other notes aside with its elbows. It smells pleasant with a soft woody-bitter nuance, which is definitely a plus because it balances out the sweet notes. Amber is also noticeable, but it mainly makes the fragrance feel more rounded and warm. In cool weather the scent feels quite dense and thick, even though based on the notes I expected it to be very light and airy. It will probably perform more ethereally and lightly in warm weather. Still, it definitely deserves attention , I’ll keep wearing it and testing it in different conditions.

this perfume is so girly to me and i like it! it is so summertime brunch vibes with a little detour to the botanical gardens before heading home. this is definitely a more youthful, daytime scent for me. the initial spray is a bit abrasive with aggressive fruitiness and sweetness but it dries down to a sweet tea - like smell ? its super clean smelling and has great longevity

I do get the baccarat rouge comparison, I got a blotter at the store, super fruity and indeed tropical opening refreshing slightly gourmand, really enjoyable, then the heart gets fairly sweet quickly, that's where I lost interest. Left the blotter on my vanity, forgot about it, then after a couple of days I was getting ready and thought, "why does it smell like baccarat rouge? I haven't used it in weeks.. " it's the blotter. So yes, the dry down is similar but the journey to get there is completely different. Nice sweet tropical scent though.

I had to double check that I didn’t get the EDP rather than EDT, because I cannot smell much sweetness or tropical notes in the EDT at all. I get a tiny bit of guava and passion fruit on the opening but this quickly disappears and settles into a floral, amber and sandalwood scent. I can’t detect any vanilla. If you like other ‘typical’ sweet tropical scents, please test this before you purchase a full size! On the bright side, the sillage is great and it lasts hours which is great if you do enjoy this scent.

The cotton candy and peony predominate for me, and there seems to be some suggestion that I'm on holiday, on a sandy beach on The Canary Islands, it's late afternoon, everyone is tearing into an ice lolly. To me it's simple and friendly, and nothing more complicated than that. I don't really pick out the individual fruit top notes. Overall, it's quite anonymous. You'd wear this for yourself, for the imaginary transportation, but it won't be impressing anyone else.

For those sensitive to synthetic ambroxan type fragrances, this is definitely a BRougere style perfume. I also own Solo Ella Elixir and was not expecting the ambroxan overdose cloud from the EDT. Is otherwise lovely.

I Love Loewe, but apparently when I'm wearing anything with sandalwood, that's all I end up smelling like. On other people, this smells bright and lovely. On me, sadly no, just sandal 😔
