Solo Loewe Platinum

وقتی اولین بار این عطر رو تست کردم بوی لاوندر کمی بوی فلفل ویه بوی میوه ای شیرین واندکی نت چوبی رو متوجه شدم که بعد از چند ثانیه حالتی کمی تلخ ، تاریک رو به خودش میگیره که به خاطر رایحه چرم هست ولی دراین عطر چرم رایحه رو تاریک و فقط در اوایل کمی تلخ میکنه پس فکر نکنید که عطر دودیه . ولی بعد از چند بار تست متوجه شدم که این بوی میوه ای مربوط به روایح میوه ای نیست صمغی به نام کندر وجود داره که حالتی شیرین ، تمیز ، کمی تند و چوبی داره و اگر با روغن های عطرسازی کار کرده باشید ، و اگر کندر رو با استوخودوس ترکیب کنید میشه همین نت اولیه این عطر که فقط چرمی نیست رفته رفته عطر شیرین تر میشه ولی بعد از حدود8 دقیقه یکدفعه بوی عطر عوض میشه یه نت شاداب و کمی ترش با روایح قبلی ترکیب میشه و از اینجا به بعد عطر خیلی خوش بوتر و خنک تر و کمی ترش و تلخ خواهد شد و البته نسبتا سنگین که پخش بوی عطر رو هم تحت تاثیر قرار میده و قویتر از نت اولیه خواهد کرد بوی بسیار شیکو رسمی داره و جزء کارهایی هست که حتما در لیست خریدام قرار داره ترکیبات عطر در نت میانی زیاده و شما چندین رایحه رو همزمان میتونید حس کنید . حدود نیم ساعت بعد از اسپری عطر دیگه داره به نت پایانی خودش نزدیک میشه و در این لحضات بوی چوبی همراه بازم لاوندر و یه رایحه بسیار لطیف گلی که بسیار بسیار آرامش بخش و حسی آرام و مهربون و رنگ سفید رو به آدم القا میکنه حس خواهد شد. و رفته رفته هم حالت لطافت خودش رو حفظ میکنه و دیگه روایح دیگه کم کم محو میشن این عطر در 20 دقیقه اولش کاملا مردانه هست ولی بعد از اون یه عطر یونی بسیار بسیار عالی میشه پس خانومای محترم باید 20 دقیقه قبل از خارج شدن از خونه از این عطر استفاده کنند در مورد کیفیت رایحه باید عرض کنم که با قیمت مناسبی که داره ، من رو کاملا متحیر کرد و بسیار راضی هستم از کیفیت ساخت عطر ماندگاری و پخش بوی مناسب و کاملا قابل قبولی داره وتا یادم نرفته بگم که این عطر شاید اولش شما رو به اشتباه بندازه چون تا نیم ساعت اول فکر میکنید عطر خنکی هست ولی بعد از اون عطر گرمای متعادلی رو خواهد داشت . پس این عطر رو دربهار و پائیز و زمستان با خیال راحت استفاده کنید و در تابستان فقط بعد از زمانی که خورشید غروب کرده میتونید استفاده کنید ممنونم که وقت گذاشتین و این تحلیل طول دراز رو خوندید با تشکر

After continued successes, in 2012 arrived in the market Solo Loewe Platinum, a year after the launch of Solo Loewe Absoluto. Bringing the same quality of ingredients and the timeless and virile beauty of the bottles of the line (now in black and silver details), this fragrance brought a more intense approach to the original version. According to the company, the inspiration for this creation was the search for a unique, exclusive product, made with the finest materials, taking the time and the devotion necessary to achieve the final result. This time, the composition has preserved many of the notes from the original version (Solo Loewe - 2004), bringing the balance between two contrasting accords: black tea and leather. Everything revolves around them, in a setting of sophistication and elegance. In the output, notes of black tea and lavender absolute; in the body of the fragrance, notes of leather, frankincense and Atlas Cedar; at the base, notes of ambergris, benzoin from Siam, black pepper, nutmeg, thyme and musk. During the first hour after application, the result is strong, dry and smoky. Without doubts, the tea and the leather reins, but the olibanum doesn't give truce and confers a distinct and similar nuance to that found in niche perfumes with DNA from the Middle East. Only after it settles down, the spices begin to appear. We have, then, a spicier fragrance, where the nutmeg presents its confusing facets of cinnamon and cloves, over a creamy and vanilla base quite similar to the original version. Definitely, it could have been called Solo Loewe Intense (or Supreme or Extreme) that would not disappoint. Meets the demands of the man who prefers noble materials and the work of who creates fragrances of exquisite taste. Obviously, presents great projection and impeccable durability.

I absolutely love this! To me far more interesting and appealing than the original, which I also like don't get me wrong but platinum is more of the same a kind of orange blossom, ISO E SUPER and curious amber accord with an opulent mixture of frankincense and spice, which I just find more enticing. This is a really solid release from the Spanish house that gave us my all time favourite aquatic, agua de Loewe EL. Also, the bottle is very stylish has great attention to detail like the information pressed into the metal tag on the bottom, also the logo on the sprayer and the modern design of the stopper all give a wonderful feeling of quality. From a collectors point of view even the box is nicely presented like a proper niche, boutique fragrance the box is almost ready gift wrapped and resembles a hardback novel, with a sliding action. As if that wasn't enough included with my 50ml bottle was a small 2ml heavy metallic vaporiser which also came in a fancy velvety feeling box. I'll be honest I normally throw the box away but I don't know if I can bare to with this one.

My gosh it is soooooo gooood!! At first the impression was that it felt different. Something completely different from anything I had tried before. Not a shock, but a weird kind of pleasure. With the dry down it transforms into a classy, easygoing scent, perfect to wear anytime. I can understand the people who say it’s too dry, because when you look at the notes you might expect something fresher and sweeter. Yet the dry down is almost pure cedar (with that raw, photorealistic wood scent) — and that’s the charm. For me it feels classy, and at the same time not at all outdated. Performance is average for an EDT, with projection about arm’s length in the opening, then settling closer to the skin after the first hour. That understated character matches the scent’s elegance perfectly. This is not a mass‐appeal or youth‐playable perfume. It feels made for mature men who appreciate refined, woody sophistication. I loved it, and it will be amazing to wear to work.

I've wanted to try this fragrance for some time now, finally I've had the chance. I don't know if it's my nose meter or my skin, at first spray, I almost get this balsamic blast which settles quickly and turns out to somwhat a powdery/sweet aroma. A couple of minutes later, it fades away and takes on a real attractive olibanum/tea aroma. I'm also able to pick up a hint of lavender in the background. I don't know if it's the batch that I have...I'm not able to pickup much of leather and frankincense which would rock this juice. Longevity and Silage is excellent lasting over 8hrs Finally thoughts, It is late at night and perhaps my nose meter has gone to sleep. I really enjoy this fragrance and I'm going to try it again after to see if I'm able to smell the notes that everyone else is able to. All aside, I do appreciate the quality of this fragrance and will use it regardless of any frankincense/leathery aroma or not. 8/10

Great fragance, very UNIQUE... Classy, elegant, and even "exotic". The package is great, you feel the quality of its design, almost like a jewel. The first spray.. it just amazing!! But doesnt last long. then you get a woody, spicy smell, really good. Finally, you stay with a strange mix of fragances. kind of sweet, and powdery.. a little bit femenin on the top.. but with a strong and masculin leather and spicy scent on the bottom. It last for hours on your skin, and gets complimented. At first I dindt get used to it, but at the same time I could stop smelling it from my arm. Its kind of "addictive". In my country, its been sold at very expensive price, higher than any other brand. So is a very luxurious fragance taht is not very common.

The original Solo seems discordant with its fruity guava, citrus, aldehydes, overload of various spices, vanilla, etc. I couldn’t love it, but Platinum is a different story altogether. This composition works very well. It certainly seems to have some kind of fruit in it, though none is listed, but there is an initial accord that reminds me of the guava in the original. Rather than clash with the other notes, that tartness settles into an heavenly blend of leather, incense, and woods. I love fragrances like this, and Platinum has a special uniqueness about it that makes it stand out in a crowded field. Because Loewe is not well known in the USA, you won’t smell like anyone else wearing this one! Excellent fragrance.

Solo Loewe Platinum is a fruity, amber and leathery fragrance. Its opening is slightly fruity, although never in the fresh way, because from the beginning it is perceived a little darker than the original version, due to the handling of the leather accord, together with a note of tea and other balsamic notes plus the DNA original aromatic floral lavender, they make it more of a fragrance for formal situations and I personally like this version more. As I was saying, I see using it in formal situations or romantic dates and preferably in autumn and winter. Its duration is quite good, exceeding 10 hours in me.

This juice is awesome!! I love this! It's rich, it's lush. It smells just like the first Solo but it's a little darker. I love fragrances with ambergris. It gives a fragrance a creamy smell if done right and in this it's perfect and the leather also gives this a fantastic edge. I agree with the comment from Dark-X below. He nailed it right on. I think this is like a date night fragrance at an expensive steak house wearing a dark button up shirt and with a very gorgeous woman. The projection is very good! This is a high quality fragrance! I give this a 9.6/10

Solo Platinum is to the original Solo is what Dior Homme Parfum is to Dior Homme Intense & what AdG Profumo is to AdG; a woodier, more serious version of the original. It has the same guava-lavender scent but much woodier, more serious, & much more elegant! While I like the original, I didn't love it but Platinum is much better. Unexpectedly better. For me, it's somewhere between "like" & "love". If you liked the original you'd love Platinum. If you were on the fence on the original, try Platinum. Good job Loewe.

Well, I tested it and I'm starting to like it more and more. The opening smells like melted plastic to me. I don't know why, it just does... The more it lasts, the better it smells. It's getting more smokey and incensy - I think it happens so "thanks to" olibanum. I also feel quite a lot of lavender and a hint of nutmeg. Longevity, sillage and projection - all three are very good. This one and 7 are my favourite ones from Loewe brand.

Loewe Solo Platinum is a great one! At the opening I am reminded a little of the original Solo DNA. However, this one has a slight pepperiness in the opening. It progresses and then dries down to a slightly soapy, slightly sweet, peppery leather. It will get you noticed. As someone has said, it is highly refined.This one is great and worth every penny!

If you want a darker version of the original Solo, this is for you. Smells almost identical as the original but the frankincense, tea and leather notes add a darker vibe resulting in a deeper and richer formula. Longevity: about 7-8 hours on my skin. Better performance in cold weather. Sillage: heavy Overall: 8/10

Oh, and I don't know any other fragrances containing tea and frankincense. Solo Platinum is unique in its own way. Now, after so many tests, I realise it has everything that I love in a perfume. Tea, spices and incense. It's a must have for me.

Platinum has the DNA Solo Loewe with a higher power setting and projection. Fragrance very nice and totally versatile. In my opinion probably the best of the Solo collection. Great perfume! Thumbs up!

good choice for everyone who like he wood silver wind wood but hate in dsquared vanilla. This fragrance show us good mix nutemeg + olibanum. Projection and lasting are good.

Smells great...Solo Platinum lasts a bit longer than the original. But it's still a Solo so it doesn't last long and sillage sucks. Meaning you're not getting the bang for your buck. But it smells great, WTF. Those don't mix. Plus how and why does Loewe Solo series smell so good, but doesn't last long. Wtf! It gives you fragrance blue balls, all tease, and no action. Would I buy this again...depends on if I can get another 4.3 Oz bottle for less than $40. I paid 4.3 Oz Bottle for $47.00 "Just wished it was sold in the USA. I have to buy it from eBay, Amazon, Notino, FragranceX, FragranceNet, etc...Can't find it in a physical store. If it's still there online. I will buy another bottle, just in case, it's discounted or price jump. But I do know, the longer it's out. The harder it is to find in the USA. Need an example; Remember Midnight In Paris EDP, Gucci Envy, BLV Notte or Invictus Aqua? All of those are hard as hell to find or the price is so jacked up, that it's pointless." Smooth, deep, and resinous. A really nice one from Loewe. There's no citrus listed in the note pyramid but I have a hard time believing that, especially because the other fragrances in this line are heavy on the citrus. It's somewhat bitter and not at all the focal point, though; this one is a nice, creamy combination of tea, lavender, leather, and spices, making for a mature and sensual blend. Definitely better suited for colder weather, but I could also see it working great for a spring night/night out. If you're a fan of the Issey Miyake Nuit line, definitely give this one a try. It seems to be a little more expensive than those but the quality is definitely worth it. Terrific modern masculine fragrance!

I got an initial scent of balsamic vinegar on this one, then a strong peppermint herbal tea. Now as it’s dried and settled on my skin it smells like one of the organic herbal teas that I have before bedtime, a minty scent that is a bit spicy as well. It’s quite nice, not spectacular, but pleasantly different, not too feminine and not bad at all. I would wear this one as a nice change-up scent every now and then, but I don’t think it has the stand-out quality or wow factor that would make it a signature scent, or something that I would wear for a special occasion. It’s something a little bit different, a bit quirky and a scent that would be nice to wear every now and then.

The leather note is nowhere to be found

Got myself a bargain on eBay. As soon as I spritzed it on my wife said, "that's familiar". It certainly was - to us both, it's close to Van Cleef & Arpels Midnight in Paris. Unfortunately, I'm not big into balsamic scents and give my Midnight in Paris away; however, this has enough twists and turns through notes to make it a keeper. Tea and leather? Sure thing. On initial application its almost a fresh scent, but this then moves quickly into the main body, which grows well for 4-5 hours before drifting off. Projection and sillage are good on both counts, and it is a quality fragrance, as you'd expect from Loewe. Best used for evenings, but is equally suitable for office wear in fall / winter time. this scent disturbs me dont know what it is one of the worst i have ever had. smells like an old very dusty gymnasium on an very hot day sticks in my nose and pallet took me days to get it out of my system ,still having flashbacks .....harsh review ? no not for me

I may have a bad batch but this is straight dumpster fire. Opens up spicy and fresh like a toilet spray, in the dry down some salty, ambergris mixes in to make this perfume even worse. Had to scrub it off.

I don’t really review fragrances but I felt like reviewing this one ... I have around 400 fragrances (niche and designer) and among those 400 fragrances I have around 275 blind bought ones (the ones I purchased online without even trying) and this Loewe solo platinum is among those 275 blind bought fragrances and I can admit and confirm that this Loewe solo platinum is the WORST BLIND BOUGHT FRAGRANCE OF MY LIFE!! Do not trust on the colour of the bottle or the colour of the juice !!! This fragrance is NOT DARK AT ALL OR INTENSE OR ANYTHING TO DO WITH THE DARK BOTTLE AND INTENSE JUICE COLOUR!! The fragrance is so bad so bad it’s not worth even for free !!! Take my words please! DO NOT BUY THIS FILTHY FRAGRANCE WITHOUT TRYING !! Or you will regretting !!! I will never rate any fragrance below 5 specially the ones I own but I would proudly give this fragrance 0 !! Says it all !!

This is spicy, herbal, fresh and soapy to my nose. At the opening I get a vibe similar to Prada Amber Pour Homme, but with an added fruity sparkliness which seems to come from the tea. After that, a sort of fresh leather/ambergris shows along with a prominent note of thyme. I recognized it immediately, cause I use thyme to cook. It has a similar smell to oregano, herbal and peppery, but is more floral and fresh. So to me, it stays like that after that: a peppery, spicy, fresh and herbal accord of tea and thyme with a soapy, musky and slightly sweet accord of leather and ambergris. It is certainly very different, and very masculine, not unisex at all. I see it as a spring or autumn, office or casual. I can see Harvey Specter from the series Suits wearing this lol

I just bought this scent some days ago. I already have Solo Loewe Absoulto and used to have Solo Loewe (original). I consider this SLP even better than the original (it has a lot in common), but I still think that Absoluto is the best in this line. This one is perfect for spring/summer, also as the original, and Absoluto more for auttum/winter. That kind of scent that keep your attention and everybody around you loves it. Sillage and longevity are both great as usual in Loewe fragrances.

Firstly, I love the design of the bottle, heavy, masculine, it shouts premium. Immaculately blended, at no stage of its life is it sickly, heady or overpowering. The initial opening I thought was a combination of citrus and black tea, it moves through a lavender/benzoin middle and dries down into an old world leather. This is a true quality fragrance. I love it.

Very close to the original formula. Can't see a real meaning for this fragrance other than profit. Great disappointment cause I was waiting for a more leathery version of the traditional Solo. I have to confess though that after taking a shower I can still smell this ob my arm and I get the leather note, but this fact doesn't justify a purchase.

I tried it yesterday "Dubai", it took literraly 1 minute to fade away, smells very soapy and nothing destinctive about it, it pretty much remind me with CK Encounter, i recommend going for the Solo original or for the absoluto... i tested the absoluto and almost after 20 hours (shower, party, gym, shower) and i still can smell it on myself.

Pleasant scent, but nothing amazing. To say that it smells similar to Midnight in Paris is just wishful thinking! Would I buy again? Not sure at this moment. For me, Loewe 7 Anonimo is the one that is captivating my olfactory senses!

Solo Loewe Platinum opens mainly with tea, nutmeg and olibanum. When it settles down spices and cedar start to appear. It is a classy scent for the gentlemen; well balanced and never overbearing. Just brilliant!

I tried it at the beginning of January in Spain. I wasn't impressed but, since I was with a cold and I rushed smelled it I can't really tell. Promise to try it again a post a better review

Very similar to the original. except for the opening because of the tea note and the drydown being woodier, darker, less fresh, but it is clearly a flanker, a good one in my opinion.

Very beautiful blend of strong lavender, leather and ambergris. I enjoy this sample, and my husband... There should be more lavender based scents for women.
