Elle L'aime Édition d’Été

I don't know why there aren't anymore reviews on this fragrance. I signed up just to give this lolita one. This was a blind purchase but I'm so happy to have chosen it. very citrus in the opening, warm and soft a tad bit powdery just slightly though. I can get the jasmine and sandalwood at the end . all around a great summer fragrance would definitely get if your looking a citrus flower scent .

After the fresh citrus opening, this fragrance becomes a smooth, creamy, and slightly powdery lemon. In a single word, I would describe it as "mellow". This was a blind buy for me, and I'm relieved that this is not a sharp or headache-inducing citrus. It is warm, but also delicate and easy to wear. I don't typically complain about a perfume's performance because I prefer low-sillage fragrances so as to avoid offending others. However, this one becomes a skin scent on me in just a few minutes. I wish it was a little bit stronger and longer-lasting because the composition itself is lovely. So far, I've loved every Lolita Lempicka fragrance I've tried.

What a pleasent surprise. I'm not a fan of overly tingly, fizzy, citrussy scents so I was a bit apprehensive because of the big emphasis on citrus top notes. But this is different. It is warm and creamy and sunny and delicious. It almost has a gourmand quality to it that lasts all day. It is a summer scent. Having said that, it is November right now (the rainy, windy southern Scandinavian type of November), I just received the bottle a few days ago and I can't stop smelling my wrist and smile. Absolutely gorgeous!

Smells like a lovely toilet cleaner. But sparkly and lovely. Lasts about an hour. Dries to a skin scent in about 20 minutes, and is gone completely between 1-3 hours after that. Bottle is amazing, one of the coolest in my collection. Will keep for summer.

I like a brazen citrus bristling with kinetic energy or a citrus scent with a novel accord that jumps out and shouts, "plot twist!" This is a subdued orange scent which is probably best suited to people who are wary of citrus. I don't see how anyone can find this sharp when the resins here seem to be blunting any edges. The petigrain and orange are a soft, constant citric presence and the sandalwood is so quiet at the end that I have to put my nose into the crook of my arm to smell it. However, this isn't a trail of orange incense curling into the sky. The orange isn't juicy and sweet or zesty and acidic. I would say this is citrus performing outside of its character made from quality materials by a skillful nose. I'm just not the intended audience for this composition.

Lolita Lempicka has done incredibly well with the flankers for Elle L'aime. They all maintain a beautiful undertone of deep resins and amber, but every variation of the scent is unique - and good. This is probably best suited for spring or summer, as citrus is its main component. It's bright, sunny, and fresh. There is a slightly green element from the lemon leaves and the whole composition is grounded in a rich base, just like its sister scents. I would highly, highly recommend this to anyone who wants a deeper experience from a citrus scent. Also, longevity and sillage are average. You won't clear a room with this, but you will get compliments!

This smells exactly like a refreshing lime summer drink at first., very zesty , then the amber comes into play, warms the fragrance up, I like the heart, pretty, floral, , then lastly a bit of sandalwood..it isnt a heady scent, I dont find it to be oriental floral, more like a fresh floral with some woods?! I love it, it is actually a nice surprise, smells great, feminine, fresh, attractive..with a soft warm base, a hint of ylang ylang, all smooth and a tad powdery,,nice creation for a summer scent, far from being a fruit salad.,..really worth buying as it is rather cheap.

Happy sunny juicy floral scent - little bit of a hairspray/hair product vibe imho but overall really pleasant for daytime in warm weather. I wouldn't say it's something very special but I can't imagine anyone would be offended by it and it's easy to wear. I feel like this could be something put out by Juicy Couture...
