L de Lolita Lempicka

I'd like to answer my own question and add to what the reviewer before me said about L Concentree. I sought a bottle of L recently and wasn't so happy with what I found online. I thought the concentree would be a good alternative for now. Happy to report I was right. Concentree does look thick like maple syrup in the pen. It applies like glycerin. I was a little surprised by that because I was expecting liquid perfume before I saw it in person. But I'm very happy with this formula! Perfume oils, solids, anything except a spray, are never my first choice, but with this, because of the means of application with a rollerball, it goes on in a thin layer and absorbs into the skin quickly and beautifully. No rubbing! It doesn't take much, so it will last a considerable length of time. It would make sense that this is indeed more concentrated and has higher % perfume oils than the edp. The orange top notes are more pronounced in the "oil" than edp, the vanilla/cinnamon combo is always there but it takes a little longer for the orange to fade which I like. Once it's reached mid point, the vanilla/cinnamon carries it out until it has turned into a yummy, mostly baker's vanilla scent after 5 hours or so. The immortelle flower was not my favorite part about the edp. It gave this delicious fragrance a dusky overtone that made it feel stale (atleast I always associated it with that, could have been the musk but I don't really think so). With the concentree, i find that immortelle is toned town but still noticeable in the overall smell. The concentree acts like a pure parfum in my opinion that projects more like an edp or edt. It is hard for me to guage distance because I don't know where my scent bubble ends with any perfume I wear. But I sense it's strength and get wafts of it regularly so it is not a skin scent! It's about average in projection I'd say. Lasts 5 hours on my skin before fading to baker's vanilla. I recall the edp being average as well in both projection and longevity. L Concentree is exactly L De Lolita Lempicka edp with less duskiness. 100% satisfied with this alternative and I plan to buy more since most of the remaining bottles of the edp for sale are dark and scary looking. Mine smells fresh, hasn't turned in the least bit. Lastly, I noticed for more intensity to wait for the first layer to absorb then apply a second or third. It's like spraying two sprays instead of one when applying liquid perfume. Hope this helps someone!

Lolita Lempicka seems to specialise in perfumes that are fun and feminine yet deceptively clever. I have loved several scents from this house, most notably the original Lolita Lempicka in the purple apple-shaped bottle - my favourite gourmand. I was keen to try L for a long time, it being frequently recommended as a good sweet amber scent, and I recently acquired a miniature from c. 2010. The pretty bottle is mermaid-like, another whimsical fairytale-inspired creation from this brand, and happily, the scent inside lives up to my expectations. A warm, rich amber-vanilla scent, it is just the kind of thing I crave in cold weather. Good quality and surprisingly timeless and mature despite its marketing, L is really good stuff. Vanilla is present from initial spray, sweet and rich but not syrupy, forming the backbone of this scent. A lovely orange note is evident at the opening, adding some citric freshness. Alongside the smooth vanilla, it feels like orange blossom, creamy and sweet. The amber develops as the scent progresses, initially soft and increasingly musky, slightly animalic. It marries beautifully with the vanilla, forming a rich, cosy and satisfying amber-vanilla accord. Cinnamon adds a hint of warm spice, complementing it to perfection. The drydown is slightly powdery, with the vanilla becoming dry and a hint of tonka bean adding soft spice. Some woodiness creeps in here, and it becomes a musky amber-vanilla skin scent as it fades. Sillage is strong and longevity is long-lasting. One of the best amber-vanilla perfumes I've tried, L is sweet and feminine, yet high-quality and sophisticated despite its simplicity. Rich, smooth, creamy and just the right amount of sweet, it is a great winter scent featuring an unchallenging amber note. It is a real shame that this has been discontinued - but worth the eBay mark-up I paid for it. Excellent. 4.5/5.

I had the luck to receive a largely used bottle of L today. What's left of it has turned yellow, but its beauty is intact : sweet cinnamon and vanilla heaven. I love cinnamon and L has the most intoxicating kind of cinnamon in a perfume. It doesn't have any of the same syrupy character that more recent sweet fragrances have, and yet it manages to be much more gourmand and yummier than any of them. The lightly powdery base that's typical of Lolita Lempicka gives even more of a soft, cosy, christmassy feeling. But at the same time, there is something tropical about it, that makes this fragrance just as pretty and wearable on warm days. How come can a perfume evoke both Winter and Summer holidays at the same time ? L does. It's versatile and unique enough to be a year round signature. And I'd be tempted to make it my signature if only it weren't so hard to find and crazy expensive. I'm so happy I got this stunning blue bottle, even though I know I can't get attached to its content as what's left of it won't last very long. I'm tempted to buy backups, but they're so expensive and hard to find. I now get why people are fighting to get the last bottles online. I agree with ForrealMe2 and drklttllght. If you love cinnamon, you need to try L at least once. Edit : Laurence Dumont Tendre Madeleine is a pretty good dupe of L, at least in the opening. In the far drydown, Laurence Dumont Vanille Noire is an excellent dupe of L, closer than Tendre Madeleine IMO, although L and Vanille Noire have very different openings and you'll need to wait a couple of hours to see the similarity. If you want a nice cheap dupe of L, if you love its citrus and vanilla, get Tendre Madeleine ; if you prefer longer longevity and love L's vanillic cinnamon, get Vanille Noire.

@davisdm61 L is available from Fragrance X at the time of writing this edit (Monday 27 August 2018). I own and love L - and also have two of the "similar" perfumes listed above (the Laurence Dumont Tendre Madeleine and Les Senteurs Gourmandes - which is the one I have - are the same perfume). Try Meharees from L'Erbolario. It's not discontinued and is available direct from them online; they also have a shop in Miami which sells online - it's $44 from there and you wouldn't have to worry about import taxes on entry to the US. L'Erbolario are an ethical company and don't test on animals. If money isn't an issue, Xerjoff Lira is also a good substitute - I've tested it but don't own a bottle, as I can't justify the expense. Hope this helps you (and any other US citizens in mourning for L). B x ETA: OK, so I've just sprayed Meharees on my inner left arm, LSGTM on the back of my right hand and L on my inner right arm. I only had a sample of Lira and have no idea where it is, so can't compare it. In my opinion, LSGTM is the most conventionally "feminine" and is the sweetest. Of the two, Meharees is closest to L, although it's not quite as complex, rich or sweet and you have to give it a chance to dry down. I honestly can't remember whether Lira is closest to L, but I'd suggest Meharees is your best alternative, particularly when factoring price into the equation! I personally see few similarities with L and Musc Ravageur - but I have a sample of pre-reformulated MR, which I think predates 2008; it may be that the later formulation is the one to which it's being compared.

Just like with the Fleur the Corail version of this I never quite understood why they marketed this as a youthful ocean/summer kind of scent. It's one of the most cozy scents I ever owned. The vanilla is clearly dominant, but there is some soft spicy depth and tender sweetness to it. It's so cozy but never boring. I loved this back in the days as a winter scent. Even sitting down in a subway train with my thick woolen coat I'd still time and again get a whiff of that soft cookie like vanilla. This might sound weird but as an added personal bonus this really really reminded me a lot of my late aunt Mary. She must have been using a very similar scent as perfume or body lotion, because the very first time I applied it I instantly thought of the scent that enveloped me when getting a hug from her as a child. Nevertheless I find this scent equally suitable for all ages. Some notes are just quite timeless. If you love vanilla and you can still get a hold of it somewhere grab yourself a bottle. I'm not sure what's going on with Lolita Lempicka these days but they are drastically discontinuing loads of their old classics and as far as I can tell at least in Germany are currently only on the market with three scents (Sweet, So sweet, Le Premier Parfum, that only occasionally). On their social media they are advertising some new fragrance now but as far as I can tell even french people have a hard time finding them in stores. Hope they recover from whatever is going on right now and really hope they'll revive this one some day.

I have a bottle of this perfume which was made in 2012 according to it's batch code(unfortunately doesn't have the gold linings on it) but I opened and used it first in 2016.now I revisited it and it's liquid has darkened. I can smell alcohol when I first spray it but fortunately the alcohol goes away in two seconds and the scent is as good as it used to be. it opens with a fresh, slightly citrusy note and I'm not into citrusy scents but soon vanilla and cinnamon kick in, creating this warm, delicious scent which reminds me of my beloved Xerjoff Lira. it's like a vanilla scent with spicy,citrusy,powdery twists.very yummy but eventhough it's a true gourmand, it has some freshness and it's totally unisex IMHO. I find Lira sweeter, rounder and even more delicious thanks to it's caramel note. to be honest I love Lira more than this. but still L de Lolita is a huge love too. designer brands should stop discontinuing some of their best perfumes. حیف عطر به این خوبی که تولیدش رو قطع کردن. خوشبختانه مال من هنوز بوش تغییر نکرده بااینکه تولید یازده سال پیشه و مایعش تغییر رنگ داده. شروعش کاملا مرکباتی و فرش هست اما در ادامه سر و کله وانیل پودری و دارچین پیدا میشه و شباهت زیادی به زرجوف لیرا پیدا میکنه. خیلی شبیه لیرائه اما تفاوتهایی هم داره. لیرا شیرینتر و خوشمزه تره به لطف کاراملش درحالیکه ال د لولیتا مرکباتیتر و فرش تره و بنظر من یونیسکس تر از لیراست. درکل بعنوان یه عطر دیزاینر محشره. اگه لیرا رو دوست دارید یا درکل روایح خوشمزه وانیلی-پرتقالی-کمی اسپایسی رو دوست دارید اگه یه جایی ال د لولیتا رو دیدید بنظر من حتما بگیریدش.

I'm going to be very bold in saying if you miss this pick it up from Hayward Enterprises on Amazon. They sell through other places and I think they have their own site. I have a one ounce of the oil and it's close. Real close. First day or so the cinnamon was obvious but after about five days it's opened up. I can imagine as time goes on this will only get better. But I'm happy with this right now. I had a 1.7 ounce of the actual perfume and I loved it but it didn't last on me. I bought that bottle five years ago so it was brown. Still smelled great but the lasting power was maybe five hours. The oil last way longer. They do make it in spray form but I'm not buying spray perfume this year just perfume oils. It's so good y'all! I took a risk because I missed it and it paid off. I've tried Hayward's dupe for Organza Indecence and I can't remember if it was the spray or oil but I found it lacking. I think it was the spray. But I may try it in the oil because of this one going well. On dupes, I don't ever expect a perfect match no matter what the brand or anyone says. A perfect match is the actual thing. But close to or near perfect or a better interpretation of the original I'm cool with. Tldr: I wasn't hyped for this inspired by. I gave it a chance. I'm pleased. Keep expectations low but if you're open to trying it I think you should. Update 4/23: Well, I don't know what happened but they are not showing up on Amazon anymore. Maybe they are taking a break from there but hopefully their site is still open.

L de Lolita Lempicka is an absolute darling. Imagine you and your soulmate are wrapped in a cozy blanket at a beach one night. The evening breeze is slightly chilly so you start to dig your toes under the sand. You and your love are staring out into the darkness, where the stars are the only thing that distinguish the sky from the sea. That is the image this juice evokes in my mind... the first time I laid eyes on this bottle I assumed this would be an aquatic/Beachy scent, but it’s not really aquatic to me at all. Let me explain... while the opening is bright and bitter with citrus (a common theme in marine fragrances) it fizzes away into a salty and warm vanilla, the warmth comes from the thick tonka/cinnamon mixture, which is playful yet cozy and comforting. In the end the vanilla meets a smooth sandalwood that is more sweet than woody. This fragrance also has superb performance that would be overwhelming in the summer.... in conclusion, the bergamot/orange opening and the sandalwood base would suggest a fresh aquatic scent but these notes are not used in any ozonic capacity, there is nothing watery or light about this scent. Secondly, this scent does not really have typical “beach vibes”, there is nothing sunny or breezy about it, this perfume is actually just a memory of that lovely beach morning. A memory you can now savor while snuggled next to your soulmate. And with the rising of the tide you realize you have to leave... your entire soul yearning to stay in this moment

Seldom are the opportunities when I decide to wear L, but whenever I do, I can't help but thinking: They don't make perfumes like this any more. L is extreme. Extremely yummy, extremely spicy, extremely warm and extremely long lasting. I even get some leather from it, but I get dominant leather from the good ole Addict, too. To me, L is like a younger, less seductive and more gourmand version of Addict. They carry equally rich vanilla, smooth phantom leather and exotic spices, but L is more innocent and girly, while Addict is the Femme Fatale. The bottle is a piece of art, that ambivalently heart shaped, water polished gem, and that photogenic turquoise liquid, but indeed it says nothing of the very scent. The scent doesn't behave well in summertime, I can tell you that much. In the warmer weather it develops the infamous plastic impression, such as VC&A Vanille Orchidee does. But during the cooler months, those two make the best, HQ vanilla based fragrances out there. Signature worthy! That candied burnt orange peel is everything! It's Christmas in a bottle, forget the visual, even though its pretty. Thay don't make such bottles any more, either. But it doesn't give the fragrance justice anyways: one may think it's not being a perfume for grown ups. It doesn't look niche, even though it certainly smells and behaves that way. Five stars.

It is basically Xerjoff's Lira with more pronounced bitter citrus and stronger cinnamon. It's less sweet, it has more substance, it's "heavier" so to say. One of my favorite perfumes. This was a fragrance ahead of its time. If it came out a few years later than it did, when gourmand era started, it would have been a major hit and would have never been discontinued. And perhaps the unfortunate bottle design and marketing had to do with its demise. Don't get me wrong, the bottle is gorgeous, but this has got to be the greatest mismatch between the bottle and the contents in perfume history. Blue heart shaped bottle, golden fishing net-like lace, commercial with mermaid, ocean and beach, all implies something of aquatic, light, vacationy, breezy nature. And it's nothing like that whatsoever. Instead of beach vibes the unsuspecting purchaser got a cinnamon spiced vanilla cake. You can still buy this online, and prices are not even that outrageous. But be warned that this does not store well at all. It took me three tries on ebay to get the juice that smells like it's supposed to. First two were pale shadows, watery, scent barely detectable. I don't think they were fakes, but who knows...

Bring this beauty back!!! I am left with an almost empty bottle and a well done dupe (Divain), which is close to it only after 5 minutes and lasts a lot less long. I am so sad... One of my favourites, and that bottle is stunning. Why, oh why did they discontinue this perfect scent? To the perfume review now: Imagine a better blended version of Lira, where the initial citrus note lingers on without being screechy, and where the cinnamon-ginger combo in the background plays hide and seek with a subtle, creamy immortelle and vanilla giving gingerbread vibes. It's sweet and spicy, but not too much. It is gourmand, but not in the face. It radiates decently and lasts a full day: a compliment getter, always, no exceptions. Office safe, cozy, delicious, unusual, bright, warm, but mystical. The bottle is a work of art, the scent is more elegant than Lira, Akro Bake, Devotion and all other citrus vanilla attempts of the last years. The nose behind it is the same of Musc Ravageur, and the two creations are very similar, except this one lacks the animalic musk. One of my favourite perfumes ever, forever missed.

An orange Dreamsicle and beachcombing date on Fire Island. A drag queen in a glittering sherbet gown gets her train caught on a boardwalk nail, spilling sequins and she chooses to laugh, because it's too nice an evening for swearing, isn't it, darling? Much later, sweet spicy comforting chocolate and cinnamon and flirty caramel musk, reggae night at the Latin bear club across from the Sandcastle--all the fabulous mustaches--and someone brought a marshmallow gun. Miles of sillage. We're talking on the other end of the ferry on the way to the Pines. Against the headwind. They can smell clementines and vanilla before the boat has left Bayshore. This stuff gets under the skin, deep into the hypodermis layer, untouched by ocean, shower or chlorinated hot tub--lingering tangerine peel and nutmeg and cream soda dum-dum pops--for days. You find a glittering spangle in the sand when you come back next weekend, and it still smells like Myrrh Maid's citrus spice smirk. She's got a regular show in Cherry Grove serving sea-witch realness. Come see me, darling.

I bought this in the summer last year and I liked it a lot at that time. In the summertime I loved it in the evening as it felt so soft and dreamy. But it wasn't until where I live got a very big chill that I 1000% got why this is so cherished. It has become so complex and harmonious with these cold winter days, and I could feel it as much as smell as it blended with the cold air. It smelled powdery and sweet in the summer like- yes its true, sugar cookies- but in a grown up artisinal way like you had baked them yourself and not like you are trying to become the cookie like a lot of gourmands sometimes end up emulating. Winter has made its lactonic notes come through more like freshly made icecream, a savory creamier vanilla without the maillard reaction. To be overly-dramatic, L de Lempicka makes me feel less like a seeker of sweet, but Gourmand's Keeper itself. Or maybe just a baker. This and Fleur de Corail are seasonal sisters that deserve respect, I hope Lolita Lempicka considers bringing them back or going a similar direction in the future.

It hadn't occurred to me until I saw some people mentioning the orange note (I've always previously focused on the warm notes in this one), but this bears more resemblance to Green Lover than anything else from this brand. My understanding is that older ones were produced under license by Pacific Creations, then in the mid-2010s the designer brought production of the fragrance line inhouse (?)(Leslie-Leonor International) and began rereleasing some of the prior core fragrances with new more angular bottles and updated "vegan" formulations. As someone who loves a lot LLs because of the anise/licorice notes, I've always struggled to place Green Lover in the house, but for anyone wishing they would bring back "L' de" I would suggest checking out Green Lover.. Later: The main difference that I'm picking up in the dry down is that Green Lover lacks some incense/myrrh that is part of the amber accord/ingredient in "L' de" instead going for a brighter finish and presumably more masculine coded musk (for those who worry about such things.)

How have I never reviewed this until now???!!! When you first spray this one on your skin, it almost smells like it's gone off but rest assured, it hasn't. This perfume needs a few minutes to settle down and once it does, it's stunning. I get something smokey coming through that I believe is from the bergamot. It grounds the fragrance, giving it depth and character and making it something more than a straight-on gourmand scent. On my skin, I get the most delicious glazed orange cake note, sprinkled with a dash of cinnamon. I get a hint of sandalwood in the base and believe that the vanilla/tonka combination is what's contributing to the "cakey" impression. It's an absolute travesty that this was discontinued. I'm on my second bottle but doubt that I'll ever own a third with the way the prices for this have blown-up. When people talk about fragrances being gems, this one is right up there with the best of them! As a side-note, I layered this with Bath & Body Works' new fragrance, Iced Lemon Pound Cake and it was "chef's kiss!"

You have to own this at least once in your life..I just got a brand new fresh bottle NIB for a good price and it is so amazing and pretty..i think every person who gets a chance to enjoy this one feels so blessed to have it..I didn't know if the bottle would be blue and it was..even if you get this in a mini it's worth it..whether the juice is blue or brown it will still smell amazing..one of the best scents to wear for the winter time..a great citrus zesty perfume with a nice twist of cinnamon and vanilla..like a citrus spicy wafer...and the bottle is one of the cutest bottles..very pretty to have and the box is so pretty on the inside...like the beach and the sea weed..in coral and green colors...and this lasts for hours this scent it's got great projection and longevity... very comforting..oh i hate that they discontinued this a lot ...I owned this before and I knew i had to have this again at least once in my life...so I will use this sparingly..and i'm very thankful to have it..store it properly and this will last..

I am writing this comment even though I have not smelled this IN YEARS. This might not be helpful but I got sentimental, ok I grew up seeing this perfume on a shelf at home and no one would use it because it was too sweet. I liked to steal it and perfume my bag (I had no sense no brain I was a child ok) to go to school because, indeed, it did smell super sweet. Then I was gifted this perfume and I loved to see it because the bottle is so cute, truly a mermaid dream. I am surprised at the notes I would not have guessed those AT ALL ??? Orange, cinnamon, immortelle and musk ???? I can only recall a cupcake/candy vanilla, with a citrusy and a spicy warmth in which the vanilla left a very sugary spicy trail. I can understand why some associate the scent with a Christmas like scent. I also understand why I love cinnamon in fragrances so much ! This was a comment to say how the bottle truly mesmerised me, and how sweet and comforting the scent was.

Gorgeous start with bergamot and bitterness against a soapy backdrop, smelling rather fougere to me. over time, L slowly morphs into a warm cosy nectar. I love that soapy note, with the hay of the immortelle and the saltiness, a slightly dirty salty amber reads ambergris to my nose. I have tried a few vanilla orange cinnamon concoctions on my perfume sniffing journey, but I didn't wish to wear any of them, as it always felt like the perfume was wearing me. Having worn Fleur de Corail for a few years and then trying this, there is more than a passing resemblance! They are indeed jolly similar and my brain is almost imagining that beautiful sun soaked driftwood in this also. I am not a vanilla cupcake kind of girl, but this, I thoroughly enjoy. Someone in a review likened it to a fougiental. I agree. And it reminds me of Shalimar Parfum Initial L'eau, without all that billowy powder. Lovely. Could be my favourite Lolita so far.

I was so lucky to buy this gorgeous fragrance boxed and sealed. The juice is still right in colour, and the bottle is lovely. It is a warm and spicy scent that, for me, says autumn and wintertime. The bottle is an enigma, and the fragrance is not a salty aquatic as the bottle suggests with its blue heart pebble and fishing net with the pearls and starfish. Because of the mismatch with the bottle and scent, I never bought it when it came out. Now I wonder if this put off anyone else. The bottle says summer, and the fragrance say winter. L is orange and cinnamon heaven with a hearty cloud of vanilla, and it's sweet, creamy too. I imagine it lasted a long time, but the age of this fragrance means the longevity is compromised. I may get 3-4 hours at best, but it is worth it. I bury my face into it. I would love it to return. PLEASE- EVEN IF THE BOTTLE WAS DIFFERENT! I am getting Lira soon and can't wait to compare them.

One word. Divine. After years of being captivated by the magnificent bottle (I've been obsessed with mermaids ever since I was a child) and being fascinated by the notes in this fragrance, I can finally say I have found a bottle and I just spritz it on my skin a few minutes ago for the first time. Oh my God. it is Christmas in a bottle it is everything I've ever wanted in a perfume. I think I had just found my fragrance soulmate. It is so warm and inviting, it's familiar and nostalgic. Every time I smell my wrist I can smell something different and beautiful. I have literally no words this is my favourite fragrance ever. I'm getting a little Shalimar vibes from it too. It's like shalimar's little sister. I am so sad that I just fell in love with it cuz I know it's discontinued but I would be willing to pay a good amount of money to own a larger bottle just for the future. 11/10 sugared seashells

Thank you, ForrealMe2! I'm gobsmacked. I have read all the reviews and I had a really good feeling about this buy... but dear lord, I wasn't ready. If you can pick this up and you like special gourmands then I will second her sentiment and say you need to experience this at least once in your life. After I sprayed this I knew I had to come here. I received another perfume today and promptly ignored it after smelling this. It became superfluous. Wow.... it smells cozy and sexy. I get cinnamon jammed inside of an orange drizzled over a rich vanilla wafer. That description doesn't do it justice. I don't know about longevity or sillage just yet but with how it's surrounding me with the tiny sprays I did I have high hopes. This scent is making me want to buy just one more as a back up. The urge is stupid strong. I highly recommend this perfume. And I also question why it was discontinued, smdh.

Oh wow this is delicious! I'm awe struck by this perfume! It's not at all what I was expecting! I was expecting oranges and cinnamon and vanilla. At first spray I get lots of very sweet vanilla and salt mixed with some immortal. The Immortal get stronger and instead of being in the background is front-and-center the boozy vanilla is still there. I'm very surprised that nobody mentioned ylang ylang. That note is very strong on my skin. It smells like October and November! It's warm and cozy, very sweet and thick while at the same time feeling Breezy with notes of tree leaves. Leaves that are falling. I'm so happy to have this perfume it's absolutely gorgeous. It has some similarities too Elle-L-aime with the same boozy vanilla of Dior addict. It seems that this perfume is totally different depending on skin chemistry. If you get a chance to test it you need to !

This is a gem . I just don't get why would they discontinue this beautiful scent? This was the inspiration behind lira I love both and will buy lira but this is special I'm trying to get a backup bottle This is cozy warm beautiful citrus spiced vanilla scent. It's citrus fresh balanced by the warm spicy sweet cinnamon and creamy sensual musk and the immortelle is what's making it unique ,it gives it this slight honyed herbaceous kick that reminds me of tobacco mixed with the smoky tonka just divine It's grounded by the sandalwood that gives it depth and Oriental touch with the beautiful sweet rich sophisticated vanilla. There's is a hint of saltiness in this that's brilliant, it's just a hint not quite prominent but it's there. There's a warm ambery feel to it This is just stunning. It's seductive ,warm ,cozy,rich,smooth and inviting. It's addictive and unique.

After reading glowing reviews here, I snagged a used bottle from Mercari. The initial whiff brings forth dry bitter orange peel, a touch of bergamot, and incense, with a subtle hint of anise. It transports me back to the South Asian cultural centers I used to frequent in my younger days. As time passes, the orange takes center stage, becoming more lush and juicy, while the scent hugs closer to the skin. To catch the sweet cinnamon-vanilla heart, I had to press my nose against my skin. The drydown unfolds into a delightful sweetness dominated by prominent vanilla and tonka beans, devoid of any spiciness. Contrary to my expectations based on reviews, I anticipated a lemon cake-like sweetness with less incense, but I appreciate the way it turned out even more. I just wish it had more projection. It's a unique fragrance, and it's a shame it was discontinued.

The warmth of the cup nestled in your hands brings you back into the present. As you bring the spicy, creamy tea to your lips, the warmth washes over you. You gaze around the room, as if for the first time, and notice the richly colored silks draped over the heavy wooden furniture, and velvet pillows strewn about. You notice the tables covered with trays of candy oranges and salted caramel sprinkled throughout the room. Taking out some incense, you hold a flame to the stick of resin. As it begins smoking, you place it in the corner. Positioning yourself on a heavily cushioned velvet chair in the center of the room, you inhale deeply. The fragrances begin to dance and swirl around you, until they merge together into the most richly, divine scent.

I received this perfume as a gift back in 2010 and it was the "wrong perfume", the scent was very strong and not at all what I was looking for-so I put it under my bathroom sink and forgot about it for awhile. When I found it again, the liquid was brown and I almost threw it away except that my curiosity got the best of me and I sprayed it. OMG. I'm so glad that I did! This is a beautiful chocolate covered caramel sundae topped with vanilla sprinkles and just the slightest hint of cinnamon. I love this perfume and hoard it when I can. I can't believe something so wonderful is discontinued-I keep trying to find something to replace it with when I (sadly) one day won't be able to buy another bottle. So far, nothing compares. Beautiful fragrance.

I'm wearing this for the first time in my new office and this happened just now! My boss walked in and she said "I just smelled the most delicious dessert in the breezeway". So I came out of my office and asked my boss if this is it...(and stuck out my wrist). She closed her eyes and smiled and said "That's it! Did you walk up such and such path? (outside)" I answered "no", but I went the other direction. We were both floored as to the powerful sillage this gorgeous perfume emits. The breeze must have carried my scent trail in the opposite direction. She said this is a beautiful fragrance and it evokes special memories for her....like cardamom and cinnamon and vanilla spices from her favorite childhood foods. LOVE THIS!!

I'm super lucky I managed to find this perfume... was looking for it for ages. When I first sprayed it a week ago I was so shocked because it wasn't what I was expecting at all, I gave it a bit of time and just now sprayed it and I can say that this genuinely smells like a well-blended Cinamon, Gingerbread cookie, with just a bit of Smoky incense in the air.. I'm not sure what Immortelle smells like but I get a bit of Chamomile added in as well! This is really unique, I wouldn't wear this in summertime only in cold weather! Like many of LL fragrances when I spray this I imagine a beautiful female, this time around I imagine a Whimsigothic female with Long copper hair, is a witch who loves arts and crafts ♥ opulent.

There's nothing like this perfume. It is the perfect blend of cinnamon, spices and vanilla, a balanced rich perfume that is not causing nausea to you wearing it or to those in your presence. It is guaranteed to make people ask you: what are you wearing, it smells fantastic. Once the dhl guy delivering something to my office casually said: "oh, miss, one more thing: please never let go of the perfume you're wearing, it is wonderful" That never happened to me before. It was like the most sincere compliment. A bit similar to Tom Ford Noir, but Noir has the anise vibe that ruins a bit the warm, delicious feeling. Perrrrfect cold weather scent. 10/10 for perfection of the formula 8/10 for sillage 9/10 for longevity

Warm vanilla Sugar cookies, drizzled in caramel, topped with orange zest for decoration with a gingerbread latte by its side. What a warm, sweet, comforting fragrance. Although this is not at all what I expected and nothing like the original Lolita Lempicka it is so good. Sea salt isn’t listed in the notes but my nose definitely detects salt. For the first few minutes there is a strange note that almost turns me off but only on my skin so it must be my chemistry but once that dissipates the true beauty really shines. I never mix fragrances but I’m going to try this atop Prada Infusion Amande. Powdery almonds would take this to an entirely different level for me. The bottle is Absolutely gorgeous.

I tried Lira in a fancy store and I loved it, not enough to justify the whopping price. I read that L by Lempicka smells very similar so I bought a vintage miniature and a 100ml dupe, to make a comparison. I have to admit that the dupe (by Divain) is so good that it made me interrupt the research of a full, expensive bottle. The original is a bit more uplifting in the opening and complex (Maurice Roucel style) in the drydown, but if you look for the coziness, delicate sweetness of the original fragrance, I strongly recommend this dupe. Duration is not excellent but it's office friendly for all seasons and I keep a bottle at work to spray it now and then.

I bought a sealed bottle of this on eBay. The juice is brownish, but the scent doesn't seem to be effected. On first sniff, it reminds me of a kinder, more modern cousin of Shalimar. It's a mature fragrance, but not one without a sense of play. On my skin, I get a short citrus/cinnamon opening, and within a few minutes, a heady sweet musk washes in. The dry down is a very warm, delicious vanilla, and on me, it lasts almost 12 hours. This is the type of scent that I have been searching for for years. It would just figure that the perfume that works perfectly with my chemistry, AND lasts forever would be a discontinued one.

God damn! I stopped by just to point out that even though I forgot at some point which fragrance I picked this morning, I am clearly reminded now, 13h later! 😮 And I thought it was not a "serious" perfume, due to its gourmand nature... Sure, it does smell like burnt candied orange peel, but maaan! does any other nowadays smell so vividly, after full working hours time: covering both my colleague's position and mine, a flight later and a minus where I landed, suitcase dragging... and it's still here, shining in the warmed condo like it was just sprayed on. Both yummy and HQ. They don't make such perfumes any more.

This is one of the very few fragrances - if not the only one that I’ve fallen head over heels in love with. It's just magical, creamy, sweet (not caramel sweet, but vanilla) and just so well-rounded I can't sincerely believe it's discontinued. What is wrong with Lolita Lempicka for Jesus sake? This is BY FAR their best fragrance and I will always cherish it. L smells like family, happiness, lots of spicy food and, more importantly, warmth and love. It's just that special and delicious. It reminds me a lot of Christmas time! I hope it comes back to the market one day. This fragrance really deserves that.

This is the scent that made me fall in love with fragrance as a teen. My mum took me to the department store to pick my first proper fragrance I must have been 14, I went round smelling all the perfumes and found this beauty and fell in love. My love for fragrance was ignited that day. This scent is so nostalgic for me and I will forever be in love with it. I’ve had to substitute for Lira ever since it got discontinued which is similar enough as I don’t know what I’d do with out it. I still have my original bottle tucked away, I still go and have a sniff every now and again nearly 20 years later.

I keep catching wafts of this floating around me in the air and wondering what smells so perfectly delicious. The sillage on this is impressive. My skin usually eats fragrance right up and after one spray I am enveloped in a heavenly cloud of this exquisiteness. I wasn’t too sure straight out of the gate. There’s a sharpness present in this fragrance before it dries down. Like a lemon rind/Lysol note there in the beginning. Once it dries though ohhhhh myyyyy is this good. Softly spicy super creamy delicious sexy lemon vanilla custard cake. I am here for it. So glad I blind bought this one!!!

My husband surprised me with a 1.7 fl bottle of this fragrance which has been discontinued, inexplicably. He knew I wanted it. The bottle is amazing. The juice is discolored to a brownish hue, but I love this fragrance!! It's just like I remembered from the miniature bottle I picked up many years ago. It smells like cinnamon-orange vanilla cookies. IN LOVE WITH IT!!! Perfect for this time of year (autumn). My daughter says I smell like a chocolate orange and says Hmmmm You Smell Good every time she's around me. Highly recommended while there are still bottles left!! I want another bottle!

Words can’t even express how much I truly adore this perfume. I first got this when I was a teenager, and it’s the perfume I wore in the fall, when I met and first started dating then boyfriend, who is now my husband. We were 16 at the time. This perfume brings him and I so much joy and takes us back to the time when we were getting to know each other. So many lovely memories. I have so many perfumes but this one is so nostalgic and special to me. No other perfume I own can make me feel the way this one does. Warm with a slight spiciness, citrusy and soft. I love it so much!❤️❤️❤️

I was lucky enough to find a full unspoiled bottle of this, but because of the beauty of it I had to give it to my mum. As soon as I smelled it I thought to myself... there’s no way this belongs on me. But by god it’s perfection. It is divine. I am so sad it’s discontinued and nobody knows any good dupes. I treated myself to a spray of my mums gifted bottle and my eyes rolled to the back of my head, it's seriously that good. I really think cinnamon is a holy grail of perfume notes. This perfume is a sweet dessert of no comparison. If you ever find a bottle, don’t even hesitate.

I love this one, so unique and original! So sad that it’s discontinued, I’ll have to try a dupe! It’s gourmand, yet sexy and addictive! All the notes come through with cinnamon taking the lead, but honestly I don’t know what immortelle smells like so I can’t comment on that particular note. This is so divine! I was able to get an ok amount for 30 bucks, but I know I will need more of this delicious scent! I can’t stop smelling my wrist! L is like a cinnamon roll with creamy vanilla orange frosting. I’m in love. The bottle is beautiful too, but I agree doesn’t go with the scent.

Divine. It feels cozy and welcoming, and it brings up fond memories. I can smell something new and lovely every time I smell my wrist. I'm at a loss for words. This is my all-time favourite scent. One of the very few scents, if not the only one, that truly captured my heart was this one. It's so amazing, creamy, sweet, and all-around delicious that I find it hard to believe it's no longer available. I wish it would eventually reappear on the market. That is just what this smell deserves. Miss out on this lovely scent!

I almost gave up hope of getting my hands on a bottle, until fate brought me to one, for just $30. This is a beautiful scent. I think it's very well rounded for a gourmand - spicy, musky, citrus vanilla. Very similar to Xerjoff Casamorati Lira, but without the caramel. Longevity on clothes is excellent - more than 12 hours and my 1 spray is still going strong; less so on my skin, about 6 hours and it's gone. If I can find another bottle, I'll definitely buy a backup. It's such a shame they discontinued this.

I bought this fragrance almost 10 years ago in high school on a whim at Sephora. Fast forward to now, as I dive back into fragrances..I couldn't even remember the name of the perfume and started on a mad hunt for the "perfume with a flat blue bottle." What an emotional rollercoaster to find the fragrance then learn it has been discontinued! I'm relieved to see my taste in high school wasn't all that horrible. All that to say: PLEASE bring this fragrance back! It is clearly missed by many, including myself.

Comparing devotion or lira to this perfume is like comparing Taylor Swift to Shakespeare. I know it sounds pretentious but I think it's true. The other two smell like perfumey dessert while this one takes you on an adventure, literally smells like you're on an old wooden boat surrounded by pirates drinking captain morgan but they also radiate the most amazing musky smell from their skin which is unrealistic but whatever. Plot twist the whole thing is happening inside a cinnamon flavoured chimney cake lol

I had this perfume years ago, loved it instantly. So cozy, so warm, so sensual! I used it up like an idiot and then it disappeared off the shelves. Recently, it came to mind again. I knew I had to have it. I was lucky to find a 15ml parfum of this on eBay for £72. I received it in the post today. So relieved I have this in my possession once more. I shall use it sparingly and wisely. She’s getting rarer and rarer to find. The parfum smells exactly like the edp I used to own. Silage is a beast!

Cozy fireplace crackling, smoky icense burning and a cinnamon sugary cake on the table waiting for you - that's the image in my head. This is my fall to christmas comfort perfume. I love this one and still got an old big bottle that I use sparingly on cold weather. I remember not liking it at first because it's a very distinct and strong fragrance but I came to love it and ended up spending 4 beautiful bottles. After all this years, I still feel amazing wearing it. It's spicy, sweet and warm.

I constantly dream about this perfume. It was my signature scent in late HS/college. I remember often getting compliments, over spraying because I loved it so much and had no purpose other than to be doused by spiced orange sweetened with vanilla and that hint of marine quality perhaps from the immortelle. I recently purchased Lira because it was the closest thing I could find to recreate that scent. I may layer Lira with Beach Walk from MM to see if I can get those mermaid vibes again.

I love love love this! It's one of my top five in the autumn and winter and especially around christmas. It's soft spicy with sweet orange and vanilla. And a light touch of cinnamon, but not too much to make it real spicy. I get no lime at all. And the immortelle, tonka and musk are all too well blended for me to be able to pin them down separately. This is christmas in a bottle but it still manages to be wearable the entire winter.I also find it very similar to Xerjoff Lira.

The best citrus vanilla gourmand that was ever made! The citrus in the initial spray is NOT like a cleaning product as in many other perfumes, the cinnamon gives it a spicy touch, the vanilla is dreamy, it's like a orange/lemon vanilla cake, sweet and creamy, not powdery, it's warm, rich, cozy, it smells like Christmas actually!!! It has resemblance to Lira for sure, but L de Lolita is much, much better!!! I can't believe they discontinue the best ones. BRING THEM BACK!!

Has anyone tried the L concentree that comes in a 10 ml glass pen? I just ordered one and havn't been able to find info anywhere online about it. Wondering if it is an actual concentrate, meaning like a pure Parfum of the original, an entirely different scent, or just the edp in a smaller (concentrated) bottle. Guess I'll find out when it gets here but it's had me confused since the first day I saw them online. I'm hoping it's a more concentrated L. Hmm
