Lolita Lempicka Le Parfum 2021

It's still pretty difficult to find this particular release in the US, but recently I come across an eBay seller who was selling mini-coffrets of a purse spray and lotion of it. It wasn't labeled as "Le Parfum 2021," but you can recognize it when you see it by the packaging. The packaging for this looks similar to the original LL boxes that are yellow with the white logo with gold "Lolita Lempicka" script inside, but this release will have "Le Parfum" underneath the LL writing. This is in contrast to the Mon Premier Parfum packaging that's white with the yellow ivy leaf logo with the LL script inside, and the 2020 "Original" release which looks like MPP but has "Original" on the box. Anyway, I bought the mini-coffret, and right after first trying the spray I pretty much immediately caved and tracked down a full bottle of this to throw my money at. I even promptly let go of my small bottle of original Pacific Creation LL (please don't crucify me). In my defense, I think the PC LL I had was on the verge of turning, and I wanted it to go to someone who would actually use it before it went bad. It was getting that strong alcoholic smell in the immediate opening, although otherwise it smelled just like it should. Le Parfum 2021 smells pretty much identical to me (minus the alcoholic opening, thank goodness). The only difference so far is that I've found Le Parfum to be not quite as long-lasting, at least on skin, but I'll have to test this out more. I never myself tried the 2020 "Original" release, so I can't tell you how it compares to this. And the much-maligned Mon Premier Parfum is just a different scent altogether to me. MPP is a good fragrance, honestly, but it's closer to Guerlain's La Petite Robe Noir than it is to the original LL, and it's mostly dark cherry on a spicy, even smoky base. It's bizarre to me that they ever tried to pass it off for the original LL scent, which is much heavier in violet and iris and has a more powdery quality. At this point, if you're in the US at least, it might actually be easier and cheaper to find bottles of actual Pacific Creation LL rather than buy this. But, it's great knowing that they've brought back the original scent and bottle almost exactly as it was before, and as long as Leslie-Leonor continues to produce Le Parfum, it will help to be a safeguard against the aging bottles and ever-inflating prices of Pacific Creation LL. Also, the bottle of this looks extremely similar and is about the same color as the actual original LL bottle. It's not nearly as blue as it's shown in some of the promo images.

Lovingly wearing a small sample I have until the last drop. I truly do LOVE it. No it’s not as magical as the OG (which I owned and used up), but it satisfies the craving I have for it well enough. It does carry strongly the DNA of the OG—the notes come together undeniably as LL. Anyone who knows LL, if they can manage to pick up your ethereal trail, they will pass by you and immediately recognize it. The only problem I have is longevity... there is none sadly with Le Parfum. Went out to dinner wearing it at 6:30 (sprayed right before I walked out the house) and by the time I left the restaurant 9pm, it was gone (2.5 hours max) and the scent even disappeared from my clothes. LL has always been an addicting scent. You just want to keep sniffing your wrists and enjoy your scent bubble. But in this case to keep enjoying it after a few hours, I would have to keep reapplying. Le Parfum is more costly than Mon Premier, and at its price point and longevity it’s just not practical. I would literally empty a bottle so fast... The OG was remarkably a beast! I would love to see the brand reformulate with improved lasting power because at this rate it’s doing itself, this gorgeous fragrance and it’s legacy, and its customers a disservice. As of now, I have ordered a bottle of MP to compare to Le Parfum. I will update my review once I can test side by side. I have also scored a vintage bottle of the OG, and am waiting for its arrival too. 💜

I’m gonna be completely honest, I know there are many versions of this scent, they all smell the same to me. (I don’t count flankers like Mon premier etc, I mean only versions of the OG) A lot of people mention it’s different from the old original but I don’t detect it. I had the old one few years ago, so I can’t smell them side by side, but this version is perfectly fine to me as a full replacement of the old one. I LOVE the Lolita Lempicka vibe, the bottle is absolutely gorgeous, and I got the gift set with a teeny tiny 5ml apple bottle and it’s so stinking cute I wish I could include pictures here. The smell is mysterious, witchy, interesting, strong, and I would say quite unique, despite the age and fame of this scent, I don’t think I have ever smelled it on anyone else ever here. I mostly detect Anise, Cherry and Liquorice (well duh, right?) Simply what you see is what you get. The design goes perfectly with the scent, and I think this perfume is for a bit specific group of people, definitely not for everyone, definitely not a crowd pleaser, and definitely not a safe blind buy or gift for someone who didn’t try it.

Purchased as a blind buy and I’m in love! I made sure to get the 2021 version, as I saw it named as the most similar to the original version. It feels soft, sweet and ethereal. I get both the cherry and the anise on the initial spray (though it’s not a very loud cherry, just a touch of fruity sweetness), the slightest hint of violet (which I’m grateful for; I love background floral notes but don’t care for them dominating a fragrance), and it’s becoming a quiet licorice on the dry down. My only concern is with longevity and sillage. It seems intimate (but so many frags are on my skin) and I’m interested in seeing if friends can notice it on me later. LL puts me in the same place as ELDO’s She Is an Anomaly, even though they’re not similar compositions. Both just feel so cuddly. Edit: Received several compliments in the immediate hours following my first sprays, so thumbs up for sillage. Unfortunately I can’t smell it on my skin or clothes after about 2 1/2 hours. So sad, because I loved it! Might need to explore frags with similar notes but better longevity. Still, no regrets on this blind buy.

The bottle is like an enchanted apple, and I remember how, as a child, my hands were always reaching for its golden stem. Mesmerizing. My mother had the 1997 version and, I think, it smelled very similar to the 2021 release - though back then, of course, it was the bottle that enchanted me most. I’m nearly in tears with happiness that it was reissued and is now mine: a true treasure. That fantasy quality, that soft vintage charm of the bottle, is present in the fragrance itself. It smells of violet powder, cherry, licorice and anise - and there's something timeless about it: a little girlish, a little witchy. A fairy tale for grown-up girls. Though I don't associate it with the delicate fae maidens from the ads, the scent itself is still sweet and dense. To me, it's more a girl who has slipped away from a ball into an enchanted forest - in a lavish gown, with tousled curls, straight out of a Gothic English tale. Compared to Mon Premier, Le Parfum has more violets and spice, and less sweetness and praline

Purchased a sample of what I will assume is the new formula. Buying a full bottle ASAP! This is sweet and sour - for me, I get predominately cherry and violet. You must like violet to like this scent. It's not at the forefront of the fragrance, but it is it's backbone, and is ever present as the fragrance evolves over time. Wet it is a big juicy blast of cherry. I don't get much of the anise, which is fine by me as it's not my favorite note alone, though I do suspect it's tempering the cherry to make it a little more sophisticated. I'm a huge fan of ultra sweet fragrances others may consider juvenile or cheap, ala Pink Sugar. This is not that, but it is close. It's what the girl who wore Pink Sugar as a teen wears when she grows up. It's playful and lighthearted, but self aware and intriguing. As it dries down the violet takes center stage, supported by a lush musk-tonka sweetness. Sillage is not the best, but not the worst.

I used to have a bottle of the Pacific Creations version, but I ended up selling it because as much as I loved the opening, the drydown had a very sweet scented candle vibe that I couldn't stand. Anyway, I purchased a small bottle of this new one because I saw the marketing saying that they tried to bring it as close as possible to the original from the 90s. I have sadly not smelled the original, but I definitely prefer Le Parfum to the PC version. The opening is both fresher and deeper - it has a woody depth that the PC version lacked. The sickly sweet vanilla/caramel drydown is also gone - the drydown of Le Parfum is darker - it’s more mysterious and mossy. I think in general people are too quick to jump to the conclusion that reformulations are always bad - in my opinion, this one is an improvement. I really enjoy smelling like a forest fairy. <3

Okay so I have an original formula bottle from 2002 before Pacific Creations took over and reformulated. I have the Pacific Creations "le premier Parfum 2010" and also the Leslie Lenore current Le Parfum formula. The original formula has less cherry than PC and has that ivy/soil earthy forest smell especially on the dry down. 2010 PC version is my least favorite it has no longevity and it's way more powdery and light. Cherry is heavier but it's not bad. No ivy detected. 2023 le Parfum is closer to the original. The longevity is better than PC but not as good as the OG. The ivy/soil smell is there from opening to end, my husband says it smells like a greenhouse and that's the vibe I'm going for. Forest witch where the PC is more fairy vibes. I'm glad this version seems to be easily accessible because it's definitely a repurchase for me.

The original Lolita Lempicka was what really kicked off my perfume obsession. There was something so unusual and magical about it, but eventually I switched to cruelty-free and phthalate-free scents. When I discovered that the whole LL brand had gone vegan and cleaned up their ingredients, I was eager to rediscover my earlier love. This version (Le Parfum) is supposedly the closest to the original. I haven't smelled the original in about 10 years, but from what I can remember, Le Parfum is pretty darn close. The strange, sweet licorice syrup notes are still there, and there is a depth to it that lingers in the drydown. It's beautiful and it's even more special now that it has fallen out of the mainstream (meaning you won't encounter many others wearing it!).

Can anyone even tell which version do they have? I don’t know if I have this one or 2023, and to me it doesn’t really matter. What I wanted to say is that this perfume is an absolute monster as far as strength and longevity goes. My 4yo son likes to choose out of my perfume collection and I give him one little spray on hand. Yesterday I sprayed Lolita on him, not even full spray. I sprayed it in the bedroom, and today the whole bedroom and a hallway still smells very strongly of Lolita. That’s impressive. I guess I was a little noseblind to it when I was actively using it, but now after some pause I can smell it full on. And I like it a lot. I always loved this scent, it is witchy and mysterious and edgy.

Thank you all for recommending this. My favorite parfum is Loverdose. I love it so💋. I was told that I would love LLLP even more. I just got it in the post and I have Loverdose on my right arm and LL on my left. I just keep sniffing to try and detect the note difference and they are different. LL is less parfumy sweetness and more exotic anise spice, it almost has a celery earthiness to it with the slightest hint of powder, so slight it can be confused for soily dust. I love them both. I feel like they will be fighting for first place. Right now I just don't know which is a great problem to have, I know I'm in love with this new beautiful bottle. I want all the Lolita Lempicka anise/licorice scents now.

Last night had this on for the first time and right away got compliments when my cousin hugged me! I absolutely love this scent, succesfull blindbuy that is love at first sight 🥰 Perfect for autumn and winter, or whenever you want to give off etheral and mysterious witchy vibes 🧚🏻 This is what I imagine what American Horror Story's witches and their coven to smell like! Light and full fragrance at the same time, little goes a long way. Violet, cherry, anise and liquorice notes are easily recognisable. Perfume gives off very warm and cozy feeling. As an european this reminds me of dessert wine and absinth/aquavit but also sweet and salty liquorice (in the best way possible!).

I have very high expectations with this perfume, as a faithful follower of the house I longed for vintage bottles, that wonderful Lolita lempicka from 1997 and later Le premier parfum were my signature perfumes for so many years I adore them even above the male version Au masculin, The vegan version Mom premier parfum is not that it was a disaster but it focused more on the cherry, I hope this is the bomb of dark violet, anise, licorice and ivy!!! (I don't know why I don't see the note here when it is the seal of the fragrance and supposedly this parfum is the resurrection), let's hope then .......

Leslie-leonor bottle here as well. Really,really nice stuff. Light, ethereal.... day time for sure. Extremely easy on the nose. One spray or 12 sprays actually doesnt matter,I I get the same peojection. Odd. To me this is a really nice remake, however longevity is abysmal. Barely 2 hours and then maybe the musk comes out but by then its barely projecting 10cm. Great for after shower lounging or if quickly running an errand or 3. A whole-day work horse it is not, unfortunately. Hence.. I'm picking up a vintage bottle to see will longevity be better. Yes, confirmed frag addict.

I’m so confused by all the Lolita formulations with the same looking bottle I bought this thinking it was the same one i wore for 20 years since my last bottle ran out (this looking bottle with the apple stem sprayer) This is not the same formula but close enough I also have the more geometric shaped bottle that isn’t as close to the original as this one is There’s so many it’s confusing but nothing beats my original Lolita that i discovered back in 2006 I feel this dna is an any time fragrance. Signature worthy. Sweet, powdery candy make up vibe that smelled so feminine.

i’ve heard so many good things about this perfume and it did not disappoint in the slightest. i’ve never smelled anything like it. it smells ethereal, slightly eerie with a soft gothic, witchy, faerie vibe. it smells like magic, like a fairytale, like a mysterious potion you’d find in a dark enchanted forest. it was love at first sniff. will definitely become a staple for me. i never tried the original fragrance from the 90s, but i’m glad to hear that this reformulation is quite close to it. i love it.

I love this perfume so much. I have no idea if I have the right one from the early aughts, but it still smells amazing. It does smell a little like a cherry Halls cough drop mixed with the original Ricola cough drop at first, but it settles down to a sweet, herbal, spicy, cloud. A little earthy, a little airy, a little candy. It smells like a fairytale. This is not a safe blind buy. I love the smell of anise (licorice), but some people really hate it.

I like it a lot. From what I remember of the original, its really really close. I miss the ivy, it gave the fragrance a particular texture, the herbal-earthy magic vibe I no longer find it so poignant in here. Yet it is beautiful, still retains that mossy, bitter sweet density I first fell in love with. And the cherry note is gorgeous, dark, fleshy, long distance from the one in Mon Premier.

I wasn't familiar with the original but I love this! Strong, sweet cherry with licorice goodness and a little woodiness. Mysterious, witchy, faerie vibes, definitely an autumn/winter scent. Unfortunately it doesn't last very long on my skin but hopefully the performance will improve in colder weather. P.S. My bottle was made in France and is labeled as Leslie-Leonor. Purchased on Notino.

The ‘97 version was my signature scent for years. I was so disappointed in its 2017 reformulation. More so sad and mourning it. Last year I saw a YouTuber claim this was the closest reformulation that resembled the original. And yes, it is. It was the original DNA. I nearly cried! If you’re looking for the original version, Le Parfum is your gal.

I've never smelled the original Lolita Lempicka, but I really enjoy this one. I was a bit worried about the licorice and anise combo, but it worked quite well with this scent profile. For a guy, this is most definitely feminine, and maybe that's why when I'm wearing it, I am kicking my feet and feeling cute inside.

There's no better DNA in the entire universe than THIS!!! Lolita is my biggest perfumery love ever, I don't think that anything will ever dethrone my licorice empress. Love, love, love 💕

I enjoy this one. It's unique, sophisticated and spicy in a clean way. I think it's perfect for daywear. Not the best longevity though, but that's just how it is.

Never smelled the original Lolita Lempicka but this one is similar but better than Mon Premiere. They both dry down to a powdery cosmetic smell but Le Parfum smells cleaner and more relaxing-- dare I say it kind of smells like baby powder? Le Parfum has a mild sugared liquorice scent that can be a bit camphoraceous and dries down to the cosmetic powder scent and occasionally I may get hints of artificial cherry candy scent (think cherry jolly ranchers) which I wish was stronger. I usually spray fragrances on my clothes so the scent might be different on skin. Alot of people describe this as a witchy or a fall or Halloween scent but it smells 'clean' to me so I think it can be worn year round. Sillage is mild and stays close to the body but it's strong enough that I can smell it on myself constantly and lasts more than 4 hours. Overall I do enjoy this one and will have to test it out longer and see what my boyfriend and friends think of it. I do not recommend buying it without sampling it but I do think it should be tried out if you like baby powder or those fresh powder deodorants, or liquorice, menthol, eucalyptus, Vicks VapoRub, etc. Le Parfum is more camphoraceous, 'spicy' in the sense that artificial cinnamon flavor is. Le Parfum has an artificial cosmetics scent that all the Lolita Lempicka fragrances seem to have on the drydown. I think that's why they are probably unpopular with some people. Also, are all violet scents powdery?

I've been thinking about the difference between the OG and this. This is lighter, less magical and animately reminds me of the times I wore Nina Ricci's Nina. It's like Nina and Lempicka made a baby. Still a pretty, spicy and ethereal scent and good for every day occasions. The original, I have only a small apple bottle tester, feels scarce and sacred. It's magic. But it's really good that many perfume houses are aiming to be cruelty free, I just hope they figure out something as good to replace the animal ingredients.

This smells very close to the pacific creation version it’s almost the same except the ivy that’s missing and probably a little lighter for the current standards set for perfume houses It has a cooling effect very airy and easy to wear even during the warmer evenings I have all of the versions and the older formula are probably best suited for cooler weather This is still lovely much more realistic then headache inducing version of mon premier Would like to try the new 2023 version with patchouli

Initial spray is a beautiful licorice and candied violet, the tart cherry note comes and goes and finally the dry down is a powdery orris musk. I wish that initial spray stayed a bit longer.. The original and the 2021 remake aren’t much different from each other at all. The only thing is, the original is stronger, a little sweeter. While 2021 has I pinch more of an orris musk. Overall super good <3

I was looking forward to finding a bottle of this for a year, but to be honest I feel disappointed. I love the Pacific Creations version, and though I get that there was force to reformulate, I feel like they still could have done a better job here. Whereas the old version had spice and a warm darker complex scent- this one is more watered down and seems focused more on sweet. It smells like a cheaper perfume and is also missing the mystery. Strangely enough I even prefer the Mon Premier version, because behind that one I feel like the real LL is hiding, behind the cheap smelling cherry overdose. The only thing similar here compared to MP is the dry down, though the original LL smelled more complex.

OH MY! This brings me straight back to the early 2000's, I think my childhood friend's cool older sister wore this! Although I have never had the pleasure to properly smell the original formulation, this one can't be too far off. LL's Le Parfum is a very strong fragrance, the licorice/anise are definitely the dominant notes here. I usually spray 2 sprays in the air and walk into the scent cloud, and that's usually enough to last for a day. I can't say it suits my usual taste, it smells more mature than I remember and it almost feels a bit dated to be completely honest. I'll keep it for memories and the magical bottle though :)

Lolita Lempicka by Lolita Lempicka original fórmula from 1997 was my signature scent for a year or two when I was in jr. high school, I know the scent well... And this is NOT it. I find some resemblance in the opening notes, but not quite. This is a disarmonios combo that has a very strong impact at the beginning and fades out in two hours, on my skin, the scent changes to a powdery sugar vanilla with a touch of licorice in the drydown (that is, after 1 hour...). Not a fan. Wouldn't buy it even when it's a cheapie, not even for nostalgia's sake.

Sweet cherry likened to candied cherries or cough syrup i.e. can get medicinal. Powdery, musky, a bit of perfumery makeup. Moderate anise-y licorice. Vanilla impression is noticeable maybe from the tonka. But definitively the standouts are cherry and licorice. Violet, oris, and tonka gives a nice contrast between airiness and weight. As well those notes seem to provide slight green and earthy undertones. Too much powder and medicinal for my liking but overall interesting and definitively a vibe.

Sadly I think I have to let go of the beautiful Lolita Lempicka perfume. I'm done wishing and hoping for the old juice to come back. The 2021 smells nice, but it feels like a fake/simplified version of the original that mostly smells like cherries. I'm bad at describing scents, but I miss the perfect blend of licorice, violet and cherries. I think the 2021 version is very linear and misses depth and the magical feeling I always got from it :(

Thick, rich and syrupy sweet Le Parfum is very perfum-ey and not in a nice way. I guess it is similar to the rest of the flankers as it feels like something I have smelled before, somewhere on someone but do not have a specific memory of it. Definitely for gourmand lovers but it is way too heavy for my taste.

I don't know what I'm missing. I tried this twice on my skin and once on a test strip and all I get is aerosol shaving cream. I wish I had something more nuanced to say, or could see glimmers of this incredible, mysterious fragrance other people are writing about, but I couldn't get past the shaving cream.

Here's a list of all existing forms of Lolita Lempicka's flagship fragrance that I'm aware of and the info I've gleaned about them. I could be wrong about some of the below, so please feel free to chime in. Lolita Lempicka (1997)- the original version. it was, from my understanding, discontinued sometime in the 2000s/early 2010s due to regulations around perfumery. Box/bottom of bottle will not have "Pacific Creations" or "Leslie Leonor" listed. (other Fragrantica users have gotten more in the weeds on batch codes). Lolita Lempicka Le Premier Parfum (2010) - Pacific Creations bottle, released around 2010. Lolita Lempicka Mon Premier Parfum (2017) - geometric bottle, some reviewers dislike it as it is more cherry forward. Unsure who created this and/or Original. I'm guessing Leonor? Lolita Lempicka Original (2020) - same deal as above. geometric bottle, more cherry forward. I'm not 100% sure why this was made and it also does not seem to be commercially available any longer, while Mon Premier is. Lolita Lempicka Le Parfum (2021) - return to original round apple bottle, reviewers complain no ivy note. Box/bottle will say Leslie Leonor. Lolita Lempicka Le Parfum (2023) - I believe identical to the 2021 version, just released in 2023 in the US. Then there are offshoots. Midnight editions, a "Le Parfum de Lolita Lempicka" from 2016 with a much darker bottle, limited editions in gold... etc. The two most readily available in the US are Mon Premier and Le Parfum (at Macy's, along with a few other Lolita Lempicka offerings). So pick your poison. Do you want to hunt for the 1997 and/or 2010 versions, asking your Ebay sellers to send you a pic of the bottom of the bottle for batch codes? Do you want to by Le Parfum version only to come on Fragrantica and read reviews from OG Lolitaheads saying something is missing and you forever wonder what all the fuss was about? Do you save $30 to get the Mon Premier even if it makes you smell like cherry cough drops (per a reviewer lol)? To Le Parfum itself: Licorice and anise forward. Reviewers complain the ivy is gone... but I do detect something woody or green (but not sweet or sharp like cedar). Lovely vanilla drydown. Subtly gourmand but never cloying. I wish the cherry on the opening was a tad stronger (it's funny that people have the exact opposite problem with Mon Premier being too cherry-forward!). If you don't like licorice or anise, I would not recommend this as a blind buy! Good silage but longevity leaves a lot to be desired. The cherry is yummy, but at times leans a TAD medicinal. Such a dreamy fall fragrance, I'm glad I finally bought it in time for Halloween. I may have found an original for a good price, and I also see Mon Premier is on sale at Macy's so I hope I can update my attempted Lolita version breakdown with more info. I feel insane writing this lengthy screed, but I hope I can spare even one soul from the headache of trying to figure out which version to buy.

I waited so long to write this review because I was afraid I wouldn’t do this perfume justice. But here I come — hoping I’ll manage. This is the first perfume in my life that I ever fell in love with. I was a small kiddo in a rectory garden, and I got a tiny sample to try. It was like a new me was born. I smelled magic. 🔮✨I saw in my mind magical, beautiful gardens, fairies 🧚🏼♀️— all the things I used to only read about in books. I treasured that sample and kept smelling it in my room from time to time. Like a capsule that took me somewhere else. I used to think I hated perfumes — until that day. A few years ago, as a grown woman, I bought myself a bottle of it. And I use it religiously. When I’m in the forest, it just hits differently. I think that’s because it was made for forest fairies. I stumbled upon a review below from Snugs (an older lady, I suppose). She wrote that she never received any compliments on it. And then she added: “I guess some people can’t smell magic.” Boy, was she right. That is something so true. I share the same experience. And I think — to truly appreciate this scent, you just have to be able to see/smell magic.🧙🏼♀️🧹 And before I finish this review — yes, the older version was way more magical. I also miss it. But part of the magic is that it changes. You can still remember it, and that makes it even more magical — because you can’t go back. And this reformulation? It’s really close, I would say. It has its own magic. You can’t compare every reformulation to its original all the time. Just appreciate it — or move on. The world changes.⏳

So, I own the original '97 version, and I have a backup, and I haven't used them up yet because the scent is potent and long-lasting, and because of how I've stored them, they've remained sound. I had not been able to purchase or try the 2010 Le Premier, which was supposed to be exactly the same as the original. I had heard it was close, though maybe not as deep or potent. I feel this way about this 2021 Le Premier. Upon first spray, it is very, very similar to the original, but then it starts to fade faster. While the original is deep, complex, with the sharp herbal qualities balancing the sweetness, this new one doesn't have the same balance. It dries down to a more basic sweet cherry-floral scent, whereas the original is complex spice and powder with the cherry and licorice. I don't think anything will ever compare with the original formulation. I've been much more fond of the Minuit bottles that I've been collecting, since they are essentially the same scent minus the cherry, but the last one I purchased was the 2015 Minuit d'Or. Still, this new one is quite a good perfume, and if you like this vibe, I would say, get it. It's good enough that I will keep it and wear it as a scent for warmer weather, and keep the original for fall and winter. Edit: So, I just wanted to add that this lingers on my skin even after having had a shower. As it fades, it seems to be much more similar to the original. I'm actually quite happy with this one.

i heard soooo many good things about this perfume, so i blind bought it. i am rather disappointed with it tho. i can't smell the cherry AT ALL and none of the people i showed it to can. most of my friends were neutral about the scent and so am i. by no means it is unpleasant but there is nothing remarkable about it to my nose at least. another friend said it smells like bruno banani women which seems pretty random to me tbh. i get a very soft, almost just a whisper of spices and that's pretty much it. smells like something a very cool and alternative grandma would wear since she was 15. would not repurchase but honestly, i can't say anything particularly bad about it either.

Never smelled the original formulation unfortunately but I thought the sample I did acquire was charmingly off beat-definitely distinct enough that I understand why it's a cult favorite over twenty years later. I can only describe it as a blast of cherry with candied violets with below middling longevity-it was fully gone on clothes after about four hours. I wouldn't necessarily describe this as "witchy" (or whimsigoth as I think the youths were saying) but it does give distinct Lilith Fair vibes.

Blind bought it because of the bottle . It reminds me of those times when I was doing ballroom dancing and during competitions my mom would put tons of hairspray on my hair , the whole area where girls would put make up, tan , hairspray smelled like this perfume . It’s quite powdery. I wouldn’t say it’s a total wow for me , but I do like this association with childhood competitions.

it's soooo good, like sugared violets and dr pepper!! sweet but not overbearing, clean and dainty and ethereal, a little bit green-floral like fresh cut flowers... the cherry really comes through for me. I was worried the anise and licorice would be too strong for me but it's not, it just adds a slight edge that stops it smelling too sugary and saccharine. I LOVE it!!

Cherry? What cherry? It is mostly violet and little anise as it settles down. Very powdery, and light in my opinion. The power of other flankers has disappeared. I have 8 of them, and this does not compare in term of strength, longevity or projection. But, yes, the gorgeous bottle is back to please fans and collectors.

This reformulation has taken away everything that was magical and unique about this once gorgeous fragrance. Now simply a watered down version of La Petite Robe Noir, a scent I have always detested as it smells like cough sweets. So glad I bought a load of back up bottles before it was reformulated to rubbish.

I'm so happy about this! So glad they've brought back the iconic bottle that never should have changed in the first place! This is the closest I'll get to the OG without having to sell my kidney. Hopefully it'll knock people off their high horse who are selling it for ridiculous prices.

Yes!! Lolita is back!! Bring them all back but especially Le Parfum purple bottle, L de Lolita, Fleur de Corail & Fleur Defendue, women's Minuit Noir & the Male version of Minuit Noir Au Masculine. Those are the best besides the original OG Lolita..Happy they got the bottle's back!

Lempicka is one of the best perfumes in the world. Her ingredients are the best. And it is so feminine. Long lasting, not too dominating when you walk into a room if you know what I mean. I love her perfumes. Sadly, they are not sold anymore in our shops here. I don ́t know why.

This is so beautiful in the beginning, it's a warm sweet apple and cherry pie scent. But sadly once it dries down a bit the orris root takes over and it becomes very very earthy on me, like dirt. I've had that issue with orris root before in Eternity Intense by CK.
