Lolita Lempicka Le Premier Parfum Eau de Toilette (Morsure d'Amour)

I have been a fan of Lolita Lempicka since the first fragrance back in the 90's,and I will say that these scents in the apple shaped bottles are all true "flankers" ie;variations of the original,so my advice would be do not purchase them if you are expecting something radically different from each one. They all have subtle nuances that make them slightly different, but I would say that you can instantly recognise them as a Lolita Lempicka scent. I am happy with this,as I love them all and am collecting the range for the beautiful bottles as well as the perfume. This one to me is like a combination of fleur defendue,eau blanc and the eau de toilette. On first spray I get the cherry,vanilla and almond which develops to the middle notes within around 30 minutes-the trademark licorice making an appearance along with the iris.It is quite powdery from the beginning, which continues throughout. I'd say within the hour,the fragrance has fully developed and brings out a slightly earthy quality from the incense and violet leaf. The amalfi lemon,jasmine and apricot are the least noticeable notes to me. I would say that this is a Lolita you can wear any season any time,as it isn't too strong for daytime use and is really quite lovely. Thumbs up from me !

I sprayed this at my son's house while visiting and with a shocked expression, he said "THAT smells good!". My husband reacted very similarly. ..as did I. It's a rather light perfume. It's not offensive. It's quite tender and youthful. I feel it's a very young adult perfume, but I can't help myself. I love this so much. This perfume and Sweet Honesty are best friends. They are alike in many ways. They are often asked if they're sisters. I see it compared to Fleur Defendue. That's a favorite of mine also. It may be similar yes, but that wormwood sets it apart for me. I love wormwood! This is such a lovely and gentle perfume, wearing this to a christening would be appropriate. I just can't believe a person could dislike this. This will charm any young miss on your Christmas list.

Another lovely perfume from the house of LL. The opening is fresh and sour and there is a fruity thing going on here, must be the cherries and lemon. Typical of a lot of LL frags there is that heavenly almond note which eventually makes way for the licorice which I find prominent in a lot of LL perfume. All of this is wrapped up in gorgeous floral notes and there is an undercurrent of violets as well. Beautiful. Not so long lasting on me but I don't find re spritzes a problem and silage is moderate. You have to love licorice to love this perfume but it's very lovely, sunny perfume, great for every day wear and even into the evening summer sun.

Yay! My summery Lolita arrived today! Lovely silhouette of the Le Premier edp but much clearer, transparent and airy. Not heavy on the cherry or licorice, I get quite a bit of the iris in this, which is perfect! This feels little drier, not as sweet to me.. delicious, well balanced and I do detect the apricot! It feels like the slight hint of warmth, pairs with the almond really well, they sort of melt into each other. So you're not getting strong hits from any of the notes, imo and I've tried about 5 of the LL flankers.. this is a favorite! I'd recommend this one if you have any trouble with the original LL! Must love licorice.. ;p

Okay, so recently got this beauty for 30 bucks. It's basically a slightly fresher (just a tiny bit lemony) and more delicate version of the 2011 reformulated Le Premier Parfum EDP. I's so soft and pretty, and ironically i can smell it in my sking for longer than the EDP. Works better with my skin chemistry and works much better in the heat. I get about 4 to 5 hours of longevity with the most delicate and soft medium sillage! I'm inlove with this little treasure, and i love the classic LPF bottle with the heart-shaped bite.

I love Le 1erParfum but I just like Morsure d'Amour. It's a very good EDT with long lasting power. It suits the EDP. It's very fresh. At the beginning it's like a fresh masculine perfume, it smells like cut grass. Then it reminds Le 1erParfum main notes. But there's no sensuality : it's too fresh. It's not the same temptation anymore. So I think I won't wear the EDT without the EDP. Without the EDP it's a simple and fresh EDT for young women.

Fairylike, innocent, and youthful. Starts fresh, then the violet flower, and dry down is powdery. It's not a dry powder, but watery powder with little bit of sweetness. I love the scent, although it is quite synthetic. It's a beautiful and magical scent. I only wished the violet flower scent lasted longer before it turns into a subtle powder. It's airy and light, sillage is not that good.

I LOOOOVE Morsure d'Amour! It's like a perfect blend between Lolita Lempicka EDP and Fleur Defendue. While LL is too strong for summer wear for me, Morsure d'amour is more mild with this tasty sour cherry note from FD. One negative point though... unlike two others, Morsure d'Amour doesn't last more than a couple of hours on me. Maybe because it is EDT and not EDP?!..

All the loveliness of the Eau De Parfum but more hushed. There's a babydoll head/sweet plasticky feel to this one from the sweetness and powder. On my skin this is a very dry sweetness devoid of any fruit whatsoever and the Iris is the main player. It's more powdery and toned down and you can get by with it year round on cooler days.

Blind buy purchase from my local drug store and I LOVE it. The scent lasts forever on me and it's great for work or evening wear. By applying directly on my skin I get deeper scent for the evening but if I spray it on my clothes I get a very light powdery scent.

This is DIVINE!!! I am sooo in love with this perfume! PERFECTION!!!

A very surprising Lolita for me. I liberally doused myself with this particular Lolita, expecting another wonderful experience, such as I had with Lolita Lempicka L. As I was dousing myself, I dropped the little bottle on my carpet. It rolled. I quickly picked it up, but some of the perfume had gone into my carpet. But I digress. This little bottle is adorable, and it's that darn little bite out of it that made me drop it. It's unwieldy. I digress again. So I waited to see what notes would appear. This Lolita smelled of almonds, surrounded by violet leaf and licorice. In the background I sensed incense. It boiled down to powdery nuttiness on me that lasted perhaps an hour and then disappeared. It's a very pretty fragrance, very light and unassuming. It's sillage on my body was not very strong at all. If I wanted it to last longer, I'd have to re-apply more often, which is ok, albeit this is a very light, summertime fragrance. The bottle is more outstanding than the fragrance. The idea of a bite out of the bottle is a cute marketing idea. But this is one Lolita that doesn't take a bite out its victims. It just didn't work for me. Having to re-apply a fragrance constantly is not something I like to do. Especially an Eau de Parfum, which should have more lasting power. Unfortunately, this Lolita did not stay with me or leave a lasting impression. Here's the ending to where I digressed before. A few hours later, I returned to my bedroom where I had spilled the perfume earlier. Phew! Even tho the A/C was on, I could still smell this Lolita pretty strongly in the room. Apparently it stays on inanimate objects longer than me. My room smelled beautiful for a few hours, but that's not why I bought this perfume. It's not a room freshener.

It's so nice to see how Annick Menardo plays with her glorious 1997 creation and later 2010 reissue of Lolita Lempicka's Le premier parfum making some wonderful variations, here we are in front of a 2011 flanker called Morsure d'amour. As soon as we atomize this perfume, it reminds of its mother fragrance but this is only a first impression because although we feel the DNA of "Le Premier parfum" it lacks star anise and violet, this composition begins a little fresher due to the amalfi lemon that it brings a freshness to the classic aroma, the almond note it contains does not feel sweet or creamy but is rather a green and somewhat crunchy almond, in the absence of the ever-present violet at the heart of this fragrance notes of violet leaves are added which also give it a certain green freshness, the iris and regalis two-component always present in almost all the versions of Lolita Lempicka, here they give a more powdery touch but at the same time very clean a little soapy, giving more light to this composition where also a clear and clean musk appears next to an incense that in the same way does not feel dark as in other fragrances. This is a delicate flaker, more luminous and fresh ideal for warmer or slightly cooler days.

Lolita Lempicka is my signature, so I really wanted to try this one too. I feel a warm, sweet almond petal "snowfall" with a hint of lovely, aromatic bitterness in it. A warm, mild spring breeze caresses a blooming almond tree, and the petals are flying all over me- on my face, in my hair, everywhere. By the way- there's a mint growing near there, which adds some freshness to the scent. And this white/ rosy petal snow makes my head turn- aromatic, realistic, makes me remember my very first, secret (of course) love. A romantic, dazzling haze, a spell cast by a very beautiful, realistic almond note. This version is lighter and fresher than the regular Lolita Lempicka, but the perfume keeps the same vibe, the same mood, the same unique handwriting. I'd like to smell more apricot or citrus. The drydown on me smells like crushed cherry pit and vanilla powder with some light, transparent violet added. Very nice for this summer! P.S. If you collect the perfumes of LL, I suggest you this, but if you already have the regular LL and expect this to be something different, you could be a bit disappointed. This perfume is quite similar to the regular one, just less sweet, less intense.

I purchased this blindly thinking it was the original Lolita Lempicka and you can imagine my surprise when I smelled it and compared notes. Now that I know it is this one, I'm STILL shocked. Skin chemistry is a funny thing but I don't pick up almost ANY of these notes. On me it smells like fresh, juicy red apples and pears??? accented by the licorice which takes these notes and matures them to a woman's fragrance rather than a body spray. I get absolutely no florals, and in my opinion it is everything the DKNY Delicious line should be but DKNY pales in comparison. I can definitely see how the bottle got it's shape as I myself want to bite into my arm. It is delicious, fresh, and fruity, however it is not how I want to smell. If this sounds like you then I definitely suggest it! The sillage is personal for me, as are most EdTs.

This one to me , is a mix between The original and Eau de desire . stronger on the lemon note and on the Vanilla note then the original . Sweeter whitout the forest feal that Lolita have whit it depth and clas i would say. This to me is simpler , maybe easyer to wear for thouse who could not take the dirtynes of Lolita . but i prefer the Original by a long shot. nice , but nothing special . i expected more from this . Maybe even closer to Fleur defendue aswell whit stronger almonds and cherry notes .

I love Lolita Lempicka and I never had a bad experience with any of their perfumes. And it's the same with this one. It's a lovely powdery scent with a touch of almonds and licorice. To me it smells almost exactly like weaker version of original Lolita Lempicka. So, if you think the original Lolita Lempicka is too strong and cloying for you go for this one. The bottle is very cute and I'm glad I own it just for the sake of it. If only the longevity would be better... still I quite like it!

This is a lighter, non spicy/Anise version of the original. I like the original but prefer this one with it's lighter licorice notes and audition of violet leaf. Wish they left the violet flower too. If there was a bit more vanilla I think it would improve the almond note. All around though a very nice scent.

this one is weird for me as from reading the note's listed I really should love it but I just don't, I don't hate it either but am kind of indifferent to it, it does nothing for me & actually smell's like furniture polish to my nose :-( so I am passing this one on to someone who will love it .....

I do believe in fairies! I do! I do! This one reminds me of Peter Pan and Neverland. At first it's lemony, then it smells like leaves or grass, definitely something green and fresh, not annoying, but as if you were a forest elf. Very gentle, it quickly becomes one with the skin, smells powdery and slowly it turns more and more soapy, leaving a feeling of cleanliness. Νo cherries, no licorice. Even though it's fresh and romantic, it has no age. Ideal for all seasons and hours, but we're talking mainly about a spring fragrance. The bottle looks like a fairytale dream. Star Signs: Gemini, Cancer, Libra, Pisces.

I LOVE this, but it's so light after such a short time wearing that it's like I'm not wearing anything at all. It doesn't come close to the original EDT version (blue and silver with little gemstones), though the bottle with the bite taken out of it is appealing to look at. It just doesn't last. It's fresh and bright. Overly mild, gentle, meek. Nice scent, but my preference lies with the earlier version and, hell, pretty much any other Lempicka version is favoured over this. A shame, because it's such a pretty scent. Smooth & woody. Weak.

This is the only perfume by Lolita Lempicka that I’ve tried. I got it as a sample after buying another perfume . And I’m pleasantly surprised. It’s a really lovely fragrance. I love the cherry and the almond together. But it’s even lovlier as it dries down. It’s sort of “creamy”, very sweet and feminine. So I see how some people might not like it. Personally, it makes me want to eat my arm. The only let down for me is that, being an eau de toilette, it doesn’t last long on my skin. So I guess I’m compelled to try the eau de parfum version now. Since, I really liked this one. I would wear it as an everyday fragrance (applying just two spritzes, as the beginning can be quite sharp). Although, in a very hot whether I imagine it can be rather annoying, due to the velvety quality that it has. I’m not sure I would buy it, because of the longevity. But I always have problems with that. That’s why I’m going to try the EDP in the near future. But if it lasted longer I would buy it. EDIT: After wearing it for 3 days in a row, it became a bit too powdery for my taste.

I got set of miniature 5 ml Lolita Lempicka fragrances as Christmas gift, so now I can enjoy little, beautiful bottles on my shelf, and also check for the first time how some of it smell. Le Premier is quite strong and unfortunately, very soapy on my skin. I think that must be licorice note I don't like. Also, cherry is quite intensive and smells a bit artificial. I am not a fan of Lolita Lempicka fragrances, cause all of it have something I don't like, even if it is not listed in ingredients. But, I do not give up! I try every new Lolita fragrance. However, now I am quite happy about miniature bottles. I don't count miniatures, samples or fragrance mists into 'I have or had', cause it is not a real EDT/EDP bottle. But, I love these cute miniatures.

Weak! Two full sprays to my arm, and I couldn't detect the fragrance until the alcohol evaporated. When I could smell it it was so light I had to sniff from an inch away. This is like Fleur Defendue 12 hours after spraying. An hour later it's COMPLETELY GONE! Even where I sprayed on fabric it's as weak as if I had sprayed 3 days ago. I wish I had not wasted my money on this! I should have bought a back up of another Lolita. -I'm going to save this for Summer, I may adore it then. My skin is dry in winter and I have to use a lot more scent, whereas in Summer I get much stronger projection, and longevity. This could be a perfect summer version for me.

I thought that it will be a lighter version than the original EDP... MISTAKE! Opens weird, dusty, like old violetes. After that, it keeps in the skin powdery, like baby wippes. Nothing in common with the original version. Sillage and longevity weak. So sad with this baby pumpkin :(

Smells exactly like the regular LL in edp. Burning rubber, sweaty feet, patchouli and Windex. NO sillage or longevity at all. And I sprayed like 15 times. Cute bottle though. :-/

Tested it recently , the licorice still makes me sick :-( Sorry it's a "dislike" for me !

When first sprayed this scent is really alcohol-lemony, sharp and too chemical for my liking and I found it good that this lasts just a few minutes. There is no vanilla, which I like, but no cherry and apricot as well, no sweetness at all, just lemon like a dish wash smell. I love lemon notes in my perfumes but here the lemon is really sour and rubbing alcohol smelling. 3-4 minutes later I smell iris which fast turns the fragrance into mono iris scent, a tiny bit of licorice and no jasmine. There is no lavender mentioned in the notes but on my skin appears a lot of lavender. This scent on me is like a combination of iris and lavender plus a lot of powder. Musk is slightly detectable in the base, a didn't feel any violet as well as any sweetness. Le premier EDT is completely powdery-floral scent. I feel it cold (probably because of the lavender), dry and really powdery, (like i've snoozed my loose powder) it's just not my type of fragrance, it doesn't suits me and I feel like i'm wearing someone else's perfume. I don't like iris, I found it's scent so dry and it makes me feel like i'm having a sour throat. I don't like lavender too when it comes to perfumes – I always feel it ice cold and it makes me think about men shaving cream. I also don't like powdery scents too, they are too overwhelming and I stay away from them but if you're into powdery scents this might be for you – it sooooooooo powdery. I'm 23 and I feel like this fragrance would suit a lady that is older than me and more sophisticated – my mom for example liked this a lot. I didn't like Le premier EDT and I won't buy it full size but I have to say that it's a classic fragrance, always trendy, really feminine – smells of flowers and powder and suits every season. I found it strange that I don't like it and I won't wear it but I would like it on someone else. Longevity is great – over 8 hours and keep in mind it's EDT concentration. It has good projection and it's noticeable. The bottle is super pretty, like all of LL's fragrances. I won't buy it and I don't recommend it without test. I'm curious to try the EDP version since i'm sucker for violets, licorice and cherries and I hope i would like it better.

As I said in another review, I do love the Lolita Lempicka bottles. This one, I don't love the contents so much. I'm not a big fan of iris, I have some growing in my front yard and they smell like rubber. Yes, strong unpleasant rubber. Violets and their leaves are also a little too powdery in fragrance. I grow these too, they are delicious but much is lost in the translation into a fragrance bottle. Not the same at all, so violet isn't my favorite either. This one is too powdery musky for my taste, I get no licorice which I love, no almond, which I love, no vanille- you get the idea. There is a hint of cherry which gives the iris a rich dense edge. Finally I detect a little vanille in one spot of the application. No, I'm not kidding and even I think that's weird. Perhaps it's because I applied from a bottle. I might decant this into one of my small spray bottles to see if it thins the iris out enough to experience the rest of the notes. It sounds luscious, but unless you love LOVE iris and musk I wouldn't recommend this.

This being my first LL perfume I'm totally suprised.Very sweet and powdery with Violets or is it Iris? I have no idea, but I like it.So feminine and lovely.It reminds me of fairytales not because of the advertising or marketing stategies LL use.But simply because that is what is being awaken by this perfume. Worthwile having this in my collection. I like this being a simple perfume not many complicated notes.I can't smell any fruits here or the insence.For me this is simply blue florals.There is vanilla and almond but I can't say which is more prominent. Doesn't last long being a EDT I should try the EDP. Didn't like it on the first spay but......I thought this is diffenent.So I kept on trying this couple of times at the store before I thought this is it, I should have it. I'm glad I did. Unique boquet of blue florals This is what it is. Edit Licorise is so dominent in winter so I will only use this in warmer weather.

Verrrry pleasant surprise. Today I bought this scent on a flea-market. Still new in box, never opened. I had to buy it, even though I don't like the original edp. The edp is too harsh for me, giving me a headache. I have a friend who adores it, so I thought I could give it to her. Then I realized this bottle was the (a?) edt. Hm. Shall I rip the cellophane and take a careful snif? Yeah. This is a softer and fresher version of the Original. After a hour or so, it starts to resemble the edp, but wayyyyy softer and nicer. I think it is the licorice (too much in the edp, toned down here). The name "morsure d'amour" isn't mentioned on the box by the way, nor on the bottle. It took me some searching here to detect the combination gold top/lilac bottle/faded text/bite out of the apple/pale green box meant this is the MdA version. Me likey. Me keepey

wow Olga, spot on with "a world of pure secrecy and intimacy, inciting you to keep desires and emotions all to yourself. " i totally feel like this is my scent, and noone around should be smelling it because it would be like them smelling a very intimate part... lol! sounds terrible. This scent is sweet, floral, soft, and really lovely. As an inexperienced nose, it reminds me a whoooole lot of Silver Iris by Atelier Cologne, which is a bit more bitingly floral and very sweet as well. Also the lasting power is short, but after a few hours on the skin it changes into something very close to the skin which my boyfriend ADORES (and he doesn't enjoy it freshly spritzed) so there you go.

Licorice, iris, almond, vanilla and jasmine with a tiny hint of cherry and incense (in the base). The licorice and almond are prominent from the first spray until it's almost faded. Powdery and a little balsamic. Unique bottle. Looks like the gold colour on the letters (on the bottle), which says "Lolita Lempicka", have faded and I understand it's part of the concept but I think it could have looked prettier if they were completely filled in with gold. It has an ok scent, definately not something I'm a fan of but if you like the thought of the listed notes mixed together, you might be a fan of it :)

There's not much to say about this. It's just like Fleur Defendue when applied (prominent cherry and almond). It dries down to a cross between Fleur Defendue and LL EDT (violet without depth ,because it's violet leaf?, iris and some vanilla steps forward on top of the cherry and almond notes). I was hoping the apricot would make this fragrance different than the other LL's, but I couldn't detect apricot at all... The original is still my favorite, and both Fleur Defendue and LL EDT are better than Morsure d'Amour IMO. Disappointing.

I also got a set of the 5 bottles which includes Si Lolita, L and the original and the cologne for men I LOVE all LL fragrances and I love the way these look on the dresser, the bottles at minimum are conversation pieces. I never thought I would like the licorice note-can't stand the candy though I think getting these is a good idea because it does allow you to try them. I wear the cologne for men as well, not the hubby, because to my nose, it does not smell masculine, also a beautiful little bottle, blue wood glass.

It's the LL edt in a different package - all about green violets and powdery warm drydown. Like a more feminine version of Grey Flannel or a more refined and complex one of Berdoues' edc Violette. The drydown is what relates it to the edp (IMHO). I love violets. And, even though I didn't found a perfume able to recreate the smell of the real fresh flowers, I enjoy violet perfumes. The same goes for LL edt.

Okay, where can I get this?! I bought it on vacation at a Loehmanns...Loved it!! And I haven't been able to find it since. Am I crazy? Does Saks, Neimans, Nordstrom, Sephora sell it and I'm just not seeing it? I love this. And I'm not computer savvy so the internet is not being helpful.

Nothing special, just a lighter version of LOLITA LEMPICKA EDP and-to be honest-I think that they have removed the notes or they have decreased the concentration of the most appealing notes that make LOLITA LEMPICKA EDP an amazing scent. Thumbs up for the incredible bottle.

Do not waste your money on the old EDT with the rhinestones.... this one is MUCH better!! Much better rounded, lasts better (but not great), smells a bit like the Forbidden Flower. I like this 10x more than the crappy first EDT.

really like this one. drydown does clash a bit with my chemistry, but I use it as a room spray in my bedroom - love the atmosphere it creates - exactly how I imagine smell of woods in the old Celtic legends

Love the scent, on me it is almost the same as the original but softer. I am so disappointed with the longevity of this perfume. I've had BBW splashes last longer than this. Boo to them for that.

It's just Lolita Lempicka, but for summer. More ozonic, more almond, more iris. The licorice is very mild. It smells like Fleur Defendue, but I find Fleur Defendue more interesting.

Lolita Lempica comes out with the most amazing bottles, and this is not an exception. However, by looking at the notes it looks like the same composition in new packaging, again.

A lot of old-fashioned baby powder (or some face powder from '80) with something bitter-sour. This is what I get from this one. Not my cup of tea.

One of the notes in the fragrance description is violet wood. Well, what exactly is it???? Has any of you seen violet flowers growing on trees????

I really like this one..this will sound weird,it reminds me of Johnson's Baby Shampoo, the original scent.
