Lolita Lempicka L'Eau en Blanc

I find this to be an incredibly delicate (without being too weak) crisp and clean iris scent. Like the remnants of a fine soap or talc. Heavenly! Soft, smooth, slightly effervescent. It's a predominantly powdery, subtly fruity, musky skin scent. There's some saltiness/smokiness in the drydown that balances out the tart & sweet raspberry wonderfully. At times it brings to mind little tubs of vanilla ice cream with raspberry sauce swirls that were available during my youth. The only things I would change about this, if I could, are the following: First and foremost, I'd make it last longer. Secondly, I'd make the top notes last for more than the measly five to ten minutes provided. Thirdly, if I could have my way, there'd be another version with peach in place of the raspberry. But this is simply a personal preference. I love the scent as it is, but would adore a peachy version of the same scent. And last but not least, I'd make it a little cheaper. Somehow it smells like it ought to be cheaper! (Not intended as an insult, but it's very delicate and not so long lasting as others from the Lempicka range. Having never tried scents such as "Sweet Honesty" or "Love's Baby Soft", this is exactly how I'd imagine/hope/expect them to be, and they're both far cheaper than this. They have both been described as powdery, soapy, talc-like, powdered makeup, lipstick scents - just like this. I'm head over heels for the subtlety of this. It sits very well in my collection with Bijan Nude, Prada Candy & Muse de Rochas (the latter being a scent that was, like this, created for a bride to wear), for providing me with the most luxurious "my skin but a million times better" kind of scent, which I've really grown to love lately. And of that selection, this one is definitely my favorite. I'm a fan of simple white soaps that are milky & creamy, scented with iris, rose, almond, violet. I'm also a huge fan of Johnson's baby products, so this is right up my street. This soft, powdery scent is just so fresh and clean smelling, but also having a uniquely subtle smokiness in its depths, probably from a combination of the tonka and licorice, giving this an edge. I can't get enough! The top notes have a beautiful papery quality with a heavy dose of sweet almond, tonnes of powdery, smooth iris and sweet, waxy violet leaf. (From the bottle itself the smell is more raspberry, whereas the raspberry doesn't come in straight away when wearing the scent on skin.) The middle is lovely, with some salty musk, soapy violet and smooth heliotrope, leading through to hints of the raspberry and such a soft amount of licorice - it's almost indiscernible! (Though in the air around me the licorice is slightly more prominent, making this distinctly LEMPICKA!) For me this is the perfect scent to wear to bed or to the Doctor's/Dentist's office where you don't want to overpower anybody with perfume-stink. This might overPOWDER some people, but for me it's utter perfection. I love the slightly waxy, metallic, cool element here, and the fact that it's not so gooey, sweet, green, earthy or fruity as some of the other Lempicka scents (therefore I personally wouldn't recommend this as somebody's first venture into the land of Lempicka; it doesn't really provide an accurate representation of their usually rubbery and herbaceous cherry and licorice heavy scent range). Overall, I believe that this would be equally perfect come rain or shine. It seems suitable for all times of year as a daily, staple scent. I personally love spraying it on when I'm in my pyjamas, ready for bed, after a nice bath or shower using my favorite white soap (or as a means of giving the impression that I just had a nice bath or shower using my favorite white soap). And I feel that the concept behind the scent is also quite accurate; with the idea of wedding cakes and lace wedding dresses. The scent's certainly evocative of sweetened, sugar coated almonds & lightly dusted icing. This is a delectably soft vanilla and raspberry ice cream scent in simply the most delightful bottle. The design on the box is like a beautifully intricate adorning of leaves made of marzipan/icing atop a smooth white wedding cake - literally the perfect vessel for the wonderful vapors captured inside.

Absolutely gorgeous, and underappreciated in the "powdery clean sweet purple flower" category. It starts off with a burst of sour cherries (LOVE) with a hint of raspberry, but those fruits quickly make way for a beautiful powdery entrance, albeit not the most powdery I've ever smelled, and that's not a bad thing. Although prominent, the iris I feel is secondary to the heliotrope, and I would bet this perfume has a very large percentage of heliotropin. The violet is very subtle, although I suppose if you're not a violet freak like me, it could be more prominent to your nose. Likely my favorite violet of all time is the older version of Insolence EDP, and there is nowhere near that amount of violet here, so if you are looking for a violet forward perfume, you'll find this Lolita on the subtle side. The perfume is very soft and subdued, and you'll need to apply more than usual to achieve any sort of noticeable sillage, but that's one thing I appreciate about this scent. I like the drydown, as it's more complex than just "powder" and it doesn't feel like I just slathered myself with baby powder. It feels like a proper perfume. The hint of tonka in the base are the cottony musk are lovely as well. It's pretty, feminine, clean, a tad sweet, and insanely versatile- you could wear this to a wedding, to the office, to a lunch, to a baby shower, or even a football game or a night out if you like to "keep it classy." It has the ability to be very professional but in a more playful way than some of the more stuffy scents which are traditionally pegged as "professional" such as a Chanel No 5 Eau Premiere, for instance. And I also find that this scent knows no age. I can see it beautifully on a teenage girl in the same way I can see it on my 80 year old grandmother. It feels sort of timeless.

I received it as a new year gift from two of my best friends and this makes it even more special for me.I couldn't stop thinking about it after the day I tried it on my skin and this is such a baby powderyish,innocent and beautiful scent that I knew it's exactly what I'm looling for(this spring I'm experiencing a love story between me and clean,powdery musky florals) Lolita l'eau en blanc goes through several phases of development which I can't really describe but if you're looking for intense cherry or liquorice like original lolita it would let you down.heliotrope,iris,musk and tonka(which is more like a not really sweet powdery vanilla) are the main players here.all these notes are powdery so one can expect a very powdery scent It's musk is exactly the type of JLo Glow's musk but in lolta blanc it's less cold probably because it's balanced by raspberry,licorice and tonka I'm surprised to see many people are complaining about it's longevity as it's pretty long lasting on MD(+5,6 hours)but sillage is soft and it's a skin scent almost all through it's life It can be a lovely perfume for a bride who doesn't want to be showy.lolita lempicka is among my favorite brands and l'eau en blanc is another sign to proof this brand can make different and all great perfumes. I believe this one could be more than a flanker.an independent one as starter of a line of clean,innocent lolitas. I wanted to write a long review for it but now that I want to start,I see that I can't!it's not your typical lolita lempicka yet it has the lolita gene.it's a very soft and clean scent but unlike most other soft scents I can't call it safe.it's not everyone's cup of tea because it's very powdery,well one of the powderiest perfumes I ever experienced.I have a friend who calls this much powder chocking but for me it's a fluffy heaven As I said I can't write a real review forit,not before owning it because although it may seem simple it goes through several stages.I'm not a fan of it's opening part(maybe because I don't like violet Leaf)but as it develops I like it more and more.middle stage seems like tones of powdery iris,violet and white musk.very powdery,makeup-like,clean scent.I think wearing it in a sunny spring or summer day would be a real pleasure like being enveloped by white and clean,sheer powder puffs but I like it's drydown even more than that. As a true lolita lempicka it shows that it can be very powdery and delicious at the same time.powdery musky florals are settled down and I can smell a combination of heliotrope,raspberry and tonka.it's very delicious in a unique,powdery Way!in my experience these notes need heat to come out so they stay very faint sometimes but they bloom on a warm skin,yummm and make the overall experience very interesting Longevity is impressive on my skin while sillage never passes soft I can't wait to add this ice powdery apple to my collection.I think I can name myself a hardcore lolita fan

I loved this perfume from the first moment I sprayed it but this was my first time wearing it all day today and here are the results: As everyone else has already said, this is a soft fragrance. It's truly, truly a skin scent. In order to even smell it on myself I had to spray liberally and without reproach. Fortunately, a 3.4 oz bottle can be had for around $30 on ebay... At about the 2 hour mark I hugged a coworker and she could smell it on me and loved it. It's the quintessential "Hugger," the kind of scent you only smell when you go to hug someone and it leaves a pleasant impression. It's all a matter of preference but for those looking for sillage, look elsewhere. Maybe look beyond the hills to Keiko Mecheri's Loukhoum Eau Poudree for something sweeter (super sweet, actually) but less fruity. But I digress. I still love this perfume even if I confess myself a wee bit disappointed in the projection. Even now, 10 hours later, I can smell the soft scent of raspberry on my skin and it's wonderful. The consensus seems to be that it skews young, however, it's been marketed as a bridal perfume and it seems to me just as appropriate for a fairy queen as a fairy princess. Either way, it smells like something out of a fairytale.

Endlessly feminine. There is something old-fashioned and glamorous, yet youthful about this scent. L'eau en Blanc is what a delicate young lady with shiny, long ringlets and a floral sun hat would wear while having tea in the garden, shielded by her parasol of course. She would keep it in her ornate powder room, and spray it on her neck in front of her silver vanity mirror. It's the type of scent that could make gentlemen's hearts ache, for the creature who wears it is an unattainable and impossibly dainty nymph. There are strong notes of powder to this scent, but it's more complex than that. Behind them are whiffs of a bouquet of iris and mysterious wild flowers. Even fainter is the hint of fruit, as if a blooming raspberry bush were just a few steps away. The subtlety and soft sillage of this perfume actually make it special to me. It blends in with your skin and makes you smell as if you naturally emit a soft, heavenly smell; as if you were born with it.

This has the innocence of a baby, perhaps the newborn baby princess who is next in line for the throne. This lovely scent starts off with powdery burst of sweetness, the Iris, musk, and violet are what gives this perfume a baby powder like scent. Then later this goes from that to baby powder with a fluffy soft cloud of sweet cherries, licorice and warm Tonka bean with a slightly smoky hint. I have to say this is a pretty in pink princess kinda scent, very soft, soothing, innocent and cute! I like this. Lolita Lempicka has done it again Overall this scent is great for little girls to women who still have that youthful innocence to them, when I smell this perfume it makes me think of a baby princess of the magical kingdom of the elven or the fairy race. If your an older women, who cares about the age rules?! wear this and enjoy the whimsicleness Perfect for the daytime of any season and any occasion, this is light enough to not offend anyone

I’ve been counting down the days that I could get my hands on this beauty. L'Eau en Blanc, doing justice to its name and repute, is the "whitest" fragrance I’ve ever had the pleasure to smell. As far as Lolita flankers go, this one is probably one of the least sweet ones. The opening is fresh due to the presence of the violet leaves but in a few minutes it turns into a powdery aroma with underlying notes of raspberry, violet, and iris. I can barely detect the woody base notes, which I’m sure is the reason why this perfume is missing an anchor that would have made its sillage and staying power stronger. It possesses a kind of "versatile flair" that renders it appropriate as the first fragrance of a young lady or even that special perfume for a wedding day. It represents purity, innocence, new beginnings, and hope for me. I’m proud to have it in my collection.

This scent is lovely. It's a more soft, toned down interpretation of the original Lolita Lempicka. The original DNA is detectable, but the Iris, Voilet, and musk swings this fragarnce in different direction. The cherry is noticeable, but not sharp. L'Eau en Blanc is a perfect after shower scent. It reminds me of a expensive lotion or body wash, but nothing like I've ever had before. Two years ago, it was impossible to find this fragrance, so I'm overjoyed that it's finally in my collection. The performance is very moderate. It projects well for the first 30-45 minutes, then it almost becomes a skin scent. And by "almost", i mean you would have to be arm's length range or closer to smell this fragrance. It last about 4 hours on my skin. Though it's a very inoffensive scent, I'll probably just wear it at home. Scent: 9/10 Packaging: 10/10 Performance: 6/10

I really like this but had I known how similar it is to Ultrared I wouldn't have bought it. It's also not as strong as Ultrared and is considerably more expensive. Never mind, it is still lovely and the bottle is beautiful so I will spray my Ultrared with abandon and put it away in a drawer while keeping L'Eau en Blanc on my dressing table for show. Edit: I have changed my mind about this - it is in a different league to Ultrared. It has a magical dreamy quality about it which I think is unique to the Lolita Lempicka house. It lasts on me but doesn't have a lot of sillage, it's a perfume you notice when you get up close. It is much softer than Ultrared and less fruity.

Can't wait for this to arrive!!! Am hoping for a less fruity lolita, as Fleur Defendue turned out to be a bit much with the cherry -- looove the musk, iris, and violet though -crossing fingers- Update: Fairy baby! Sweet, tender, with little sparkly bits of fairy dust floating about. Not all powder, imo. Iris and violet leaf leave me with a sense of fresh greenery, very soft and delicate. Just as I had hoped, the cherry and raspberry are practically muted but still present. Each Lolita takes time for me to warm up to, but I already feel budding affection for this little treasure. Nothing like this out there, folks.. similar maybe, but this one is special!

Of all the ethereal scents out there this is the one, without a doubt. Forget the no 1 ethereal Dama Bianca compared to this. Candied, softly powdered violets with just the right touch of cherries to balance the florals. It seems simple, but is truly fairylike. Hard to explain. Not juvenile at all, but at the same time playful. Just enough to keep you wondering what soft blurred, kaleidoscopic alternate universe this is coming from. It has the OG lolita dna in it, but enhanced with that bibbidi boppedi doo magic. It’s such a shame it’s discontinued, I have to carefully choose the right occasion with my bottle I found miraculously.

This is such a cuteeeee scent! It smells like marshmallow with raspberry jelly filling >__< I really love the combination of violet iris and tonka bean in this. Powdery sweet, fluffy, transparent, innocent. It doesn't feel like wearing a perfume, rather it feels like your skin naturally smells so yummy :3 And I'm surprise how something this light can possess this great longevity...I only put on 2 sprays at 9am, now it's 9pm and I still get occasional whiff of it. And the bottle is such a delicate thing. Really suits the scent. Love love love love love! >____< ♥♥♥

WOW, so soft and powdery! This is a perfume to love. I know almost all Lolita Lempicka perfumes, but in my opinion this is far the best out of the apple shaped line. It's dreamy, intense and consists almost only of powder. Not baby powder, but a very delicate, feminine one you would use to enhance your decolletée. It does not exactly remind me of Le premier Parfum - but there is a loose connection to it. That's the licorice-cherry-sweetness. Here it is surrounded by powder and vanilla which makes it even more delicious... Such a shame it is a Limited Edition!

Second review/update: I am so, totally in love with this! I'm on the hunt for something similar, but much stronger! Anyone out there have suggestions? I love the vanilla and violet combination, and with only a touch of the fruit. May need to buy back up bottles very soon.. This just feels like clean, cool cloud is surrounding you. Warms up into a vanilla skin scent, but still has that sweet violet tinge. Does really well on clothes, and underneath clothes. I've never owned anything like this before, it feels like I've finally found what's been "missing"!

I absolutely love, love, love this fragrance!! Its a wonderful blend of soft powder and soft florals with just a hint of raspberry. My all time favorite Lempicka scent..If you are like me and love a nice soft floral scent with a touch of non-invasive white musk, then this s just the perfect fragrance for you. and bought this as a "blind buy", Its great because it doesnt have that obnoxious licorice smell. It's the best scent in this line i beleive. so go for t, buy it!! you wont be disappointed :)

MI got my eight year old daughter a bottle of Love's Babysoft perfume, just like I had back in the day. I know, dangerous to be starting her that young, right? We both agreed this is the grown up version. Sweet, powdery ethereal cloud of loveliness. This is great for quiet nights snuggling at home, and for a sweet and angelic vibe. I'm so glad I have it even if it's not a typical Lolita. I love it when the mood strikes, and lately, that has been often.

This has grown on me after wearing it for a while. It's comforting, a soft sweet raspberry-ish musk. I love the original LL but don't find it very wearable. This is different, much mellower and softer, but has something in common with the sweet violets. It is cosmetic-powdery, soft and fuzzy, but also a little gourmand, with something a little vanilla/almond-like to it. It's one of my favorite everyday fragrances when I need something soft and cozy.

Holy grail from Lolita Lempicka and I love almost every one of their perfumes but this one stood out to me the most. It is very light and powdery, but delicately sweet on the skin and not too heavy. I've worn it to bed a few times and it makes me feel soft and pretty. It's unique to me, but I am not very experienced with perfumes so maybe not. Either way its definitely for specific people and whomever adores this scent gets it!

Such a lovely little iris heliotrope violet raspberry confection. Still has the gorgeous LL dry down but keeps the variation going with the heightened iris and violet. Good in warm weather with a surprising amount of depth. A unique take on a gourmand iris. Far better than it should be but Annick Menardo is always far better than you remember. I feel she is a bit of a chameleon perfumer.

How divine, especially in the dry down. So so pretty. The initial spray is somewhat sweet and almondy, smells almost like a few other young girl fragrances. But after a couple of hours, a cloud of soft violet petals and a haze of light vanilla emerges. Really pretty, really feminine. Definitely recommended for any time of the day or for any occasion. This one is a keeper.

This is like pure light. But it's not a blinding light. It's a bright, yet soft, white light that glows and gently envelopes the wearer. It swirls, slowly then more quickly, then slowly again. Makes me think of angel-like creatures swathed in white dancing in the air. Another LL creation that I've fallen in love with. Damn you, Lolita Lempicka.

This is such a pretty scent! On first spray the violet leaf & floral notes,quickly morphing into a pink marshmallow of berries and cherries and powderpuff. This is quite a light fragrance for Lolita Lempicka and develops quickly. I find I am left with tonka bean,heliptrope and musk notes with a slight hint of violet and iris. Lovely!

I love it ! I'm so happy to love this new fragrance (I didn't like Si Lolita and I was disappointed by Morsure d'amour). This Eau en Blanc (so perfect name) is yummy, sweet, powdery and romantic. To image it : a sugar with notes of Fleur Defendue on it. A sort of cherry marshmallow. I love it !

At the first sniff, I was disappointed, it was a baby perfume smell, which reminds me of Bvlgari petits et mamans. However, the dry down is really soft, sweet powdery smell. Like candy frosting or white chocolate - not in a cheap way like pink sugar. Anyway, worth buying.

I love this fragrance!! its by far my favorite Lolita Lempicka scent :) Its right up my alley as far as perfume goes. I love he soft white flower notes, and i love that this scent does NOT have an overpowering licorice smell. I will def buy more :) Just wonderful

'Fairy princess' sounds quite right. This is a very innocent scent, perfect for a gorgeous white dress. Very powdery, and reminding me a little bit of play dough. A special scent for dreamy, starlit nights. The bottle is an A+, as usual.

If you are powdery scent Lover, then this one is must-try. This one have purity like a girl, but also mature like a woman. LL's another great achievement! Just a shame that is limited edition, but that gives adventages as specialty.

This is by far the most adorable Iris perfume I've ever come across, but it's still not too young for people over 30. I actually love it, and boy-howdy am I normally impossible to please!

It's so dreamy and smells so lovely indeed. Sweet & powdery at the initial usage, and will leave moderate fruity scent. Downside: the silage is very weak.

I feel almost like a fairy princess when I wear this one. It is beautiful and magical. Every note in this one is a win for me, I love this perfume.

I find it very pleasant. It smells very much of violets. It is very sweet and powdery. Unfortunately I find silage and staying power quite poor.

I voted it, because I smelled it. A good friend, which owns an Perfume Store gets the perfumes sooner. Therefore I votet, that I love it.

Lolita Lempicka L'Eau en Blanc must be the most girlie, playful, fluffy perfume I've ever owned. It's practically the powdery interpretation of a white cake filled with cherry-raspberry cream and topped with candied violets but not really edible. Or even closer to the powdery-sweet scented dolls I had as a child. I get the green violet leaves first and then it sweetens immediately. I don't enjoy cherries in perfumes often but they work well here. The drydown comes a bit too fast and due to the musk it's more skin-like than gourmand. It doesn't really remind me of baby powder since it holds a good amount of fruitiness through the whole process. It also bears little to no resemblance to the original and it is fairly linear in comparison. I had no problems with the longevity and the sillage is low but I'm not sure if I'd like it to be stronger anyway. I would have loved to own L'Eau en Blanc as a kid. The pale pink and white frosted apple shaped bottle is incredibly cute and the scent brings to mind white rabbits, pressed powder compacts, fairy dust, satin bows, birthday cakes, rainbows, princess gowns and pink unicorns. Of course it's not the one to wear when wanting to be taken seriously but it's lot of fun to have around while daydreaming about a trip to Disneyland...

It is foremost a powder fragrance. Like plain J&J powder. It is very gently, though absolutely floral, followed by soft musk and a little sweetness - and it needs a big boost in the sillage arena! It is very pretty though. An airy, classic smelling, sweet powder fragrance - however, it has no umph! It makes me think of pastel cashmere and scented pressed powder compacts. Maybe that is a nice thing, maybe not.... I can't decide. This was my first "powdery" fragrance purchase, and while I'm not disappointed, I am a little underwhelmed. I really wanted to sense more of the other notes, but I'm afraid the fruits and licorice kind of get lost somewhere. I don't find this to be a gourmand fragrance at all. Very powdery violet, musk, a bit of sweet tonka, and hint of violet leaf essense. I had 7 sprays of this to review, and I even put 2 behind my ears which I rarely do. It is very delicate and pretty much a skin scent, though it does stick very nicely to and smell lovelier on fabric. It is very dreamy, soft, and pleasant - but something is missing. I will use it up though, despite what is missing, I do like it very much. Actually, I'm thinking this will be very nice as a linen spray for spring! Sorry for the double post!

In the sea of powerful, complex fragrances and definitely not for all tastes of the house Lolita Lempicka it is pleasant to find this delicate limited edition work by Annick Menardo, which although plays with some notes of Le Premier Parfum (licorice, iris, Violet, tonka and musk) gives a 360 degree turn to the previous works of the creator for the Lempicka house. From the start we find a bouquet of white violets on a smoothie of red fruits (cherry and raspberry) with the most powdery of the Irises and a super delicate and powdery musk, all of them dancing in unison throughout the life of this fragrance, together to the aforementioned components that do not stand out, no, rather they lie hidden in a corner giving a more complex touch to this beautiful and delicate fragrance. This is an ode to the fairy tale heroines of the house, nymphs, elves and delicate fairies, a perfume that reflects delicacy and sweetness and as its campaign indicated it recalls lace, veils, pearls and fine porcelain. Although its character is discreet, it lasts well, but with a very intimate projection, I think it is the ideal perfume for spring.

I found this scent to be quite pleasant. The initial note that comes out once sprayed is definitely raspberry, but it very quickly turns to powder: sweet & inoffensive, laced and intertwined with delicate florals. It's very soft, and though I'm not a big powder-person, this perfume did not bother me at all. I can vaguely smell licorice, but it's not strong. This powdery iris is what I smell for about an hour, when the powder simmers down and is cut by something sharper, but still sweet. I believe this is the cherry and tonka bean coming into play, and this is also when I can't stop smelling my wrist and feeling happy. But I hate the longevity of this perfume... :( unfortunately on my skin it is gone without a trace after about two or three hours, max. It's a classy scent, and a nice addition to my collection, but I would not repurchase as it's too soft-spoken for my tastes and it's not much for lasting power. But worth a try if you prefer light, classic, and utterly lovely scents.

This has a Guerlain vibe, in my opinion. If Insolence and L'Instant Magic had a newborn baby girl, she would be Lolita Lempicka's L'Eau en Blanc. This is such a soft scent, I can barely detect it at first. Then a very slight, powdery fruitiness comes out and is so subtle and lovely. Cherry is usually so hard to do and here it is natural and blended with raspberry. I get the violet/iris too, but again, this is SO light, I'm really trying hard to detect the notes. It lasts at least 5 hours and I can definitely smell the heliotrope when this is fully dry. (Reminiscent of L'Heure Bleu, to me) It's a little more deep and mature smelling in the base notes. A powdery beauty that will never intrude on anyone, even yourself! A very young girl could wear this, and it would make a very special gift as the bottle is gorgeous.

This reminds me of playing in my nana's cosmetics as a child. All the powder puffs and lipsticks. Playing dress-up in her jewelry and the frothy lacy garage sale things she'd buy us that were just ridiculous and fun. I can't tell yet if this is going to be headache-inducing. I don't think I have any allergies to tonka, but I'm suspicious of it since it's so similar to vanilla. o'.'o Definitely powder, heliotrope, and a bit of iris. Also something sweetish, like tonka/vanilla in the drydown. I smell something earthy, but it feels more like patchouli than licorice or vetiver. Needs a bit more of whatever it is to calm the sweetness down a notch. Interesting trip down memory lane. Someone mentioned it reminded them of babywipes, and yeah, I can totes see that, too, lol! But an expensive brand of babywipe! ;)

I've come to the conclusion that anything by Annick Mennardo is a perfume I will fall in love with. Oh such a soft and pretty iris and violet scent! This is violets done beautifully. I needed to reapply more frequently than with my other perfumes but that is no great hardship in the long run, when those top notes are so lovely! Reminds me a little of Laura Mercier's Gourmande Violette, which also has vanilla notes but I prefer this one, it's way gentler on the nose. There is also something about this which feels a little like Cerruti 1881 to me but the much softer version, I think it's the violets - and is there chamomile in this one, too? Safe for work but also incredibly romantic - and the bottle is so pretty, too! This perfume is love and comfort, it reminds me of the way I think and feel for my son.

I fully agree with everyone who've said that this is a scent suited for a girl in the universe of Jim Henson's Labyrinth. Everything about it is so mystical and whimsical which fits right in with the aesthetics of the crystal ballroom. L'eau en Blanc is everything I hoped LL's Le Parfum would be; feather-soft and pure while still maintaining a dark mystique. If Le Parfum is sweet licorice, L'eau en Blanc is violet candy. The opening brings my mind to Fazer's Violet tablets; tiny, chewy, dark purple bursts of violet sweetness. The dry down is much more powdery-smooth and sits close to the skin, which I don't mind at all. This is a great LL option for those who like the thought of the original composition but want something lighter.

I blind bought this a while back because I love the Lempicka house and haven't been let down by them until now. Don't get me wrong, the fragrance itself is beautiful but it is so soft that I need to bury my nose in the spray spot to enjoy it. Oddly enough, on me this rendition is frightfully similar to Molinard's Habanita, it's just much softer/lighter but the scent of the dry down is the same. So I prefer instead to wear Habanita because I personally opt for sillage. Still this is a beautiful fragrance but is has no sillage at all on me and longevity is below average. Lots of violets and powder, just beautiful and so feminine.

"Cherry cake with marshmallow" kind... I also get gentle powdery & sweet almond notes on my skin during dry-down . I got more impression like it was created for a young crowd and not so in-common with bride & wedding ceremony image actually.... Gentle / Not overpowering fragrance. Very pink scent indeed as a bottle's colour. It's quite different from all the other's Lolita's perfumes and don't have strong licorice base. Can be great at spring / summer day's or evenings (and even for office its ok too!). Now I spray it a little bit before I going to sleep. Very comfortable :) Yummy & Cozy

I once reached out for advice and opinions on this fragrance and was repeatedly told that this is just powdered cherry water that does not last even 30 minutes and how this is not worth purchasing. So glad I did not listen to that advise and those comments. I don't find this to be watery or very big on cherry. This, to me, is a powdery iris scent more than anything. A lovely vintage lipstick/cosmetic powder scent. I always get atleast 6-7 hours out of this. It does not have mad projection but it is more than a skin scent on me. Beautiful bottle too. Sad how this is discontinued.

sugared almonds. it reminds me of the soft sunset clouds at the end of another day on a greek island. that was where i was first given sugared almonds wrapped in a piece of white veil. i can't remember why someone gave them to me, i wasn't at the wedding. this perfume can lift me up. the smell of promise, of sunsets and gentle sweetness. in soft pastel hues of innocence. it smells exactly like sugared almonds. beautiful. the bottle is smooth frosted with white icing. sillage is perfectly soft and longevity is great.

I love Lolita Lempicka so much,and I would love L'eau en blanc only if it would last more than 10 minutes. Seriously it has zero longevity. After first sprizt I get this powdery fruity scent which I love, but after few minutes it's completly gone and I don't understand why would Lolita Lempicka made a fragrance like that. It has kinda put me in a state where I only feel annnoyed by it. It doesn't deliver at all. Such a shame for such a promising smell.Thank god, not all lolitas are like that. On to the next one!

Chh, chhh, chh, chhh, chhh. Oh that's just me -- every five minutes with this perfume! Sheesh, constant reapplication is needed; don't leave your bottle at home! That said, it is very pretty: sugary fairy dust on a fairy cake. I can understand the one reviewer's comparison to Petits et Mamans; this one could easily be used by a little girl. It's kind of difficult to pick out individual notes, as this is a well-blended composition, kind of nostalgic but not at all dated.
