Lolita Lempicka Mon Premier Parfum

I find that it’s only the initial opening that is sweeter and tarter than the Lolita Lempicka most of us are originally familiar with and are most fond of. That being said, the original DNA remains but isn’t present upon initial blast. It takes a few moments to eventually get there. After a few minutes, the tarter and sweeter cherry most are put off by, calms down and you are welcomed by the licorice, anise, ivy, and the violets and powderiness we all know and love. Yes this makes it different, but it’s not as terrible and cavity inducing sweet as most of the reviews make it out to be. I’m not quite sure what all the fuss it about, really. It’s still very much LL— the family of notes and DNA we all adore. I find the tarter cherry notes (especially in the opening) make it brighter, juicier, and keep Mon Premier from, only slightly, being as earthy, dense, dark, or gothic as Le Parfum or the OG, but even so, it’s not very far behind. And this juicier cherry aspect has its perks, making it a contender for spring and summer—likewise I feel also helps it to project the scent a little further and lasts significantly longer on skin than Le Parfum. Both last equally on clothes. As far as projecting further, lasting on clothes and skin than the OG, I don’t think any modern version at present can truly top it. But I digress... The dry down is close enough as the above mentioned, perhaps more cherry forward throughout its stages, unlike like the others. But what remains the same for all the flankers is the symphony of its notes which play both cold and warm at the same time. This aspect of Lolita has always fascinated me, how is it that a perfume can be both cold and warm, so pleasurably wafting between the two simultaneously... I have the OG, Le Parfum, and I will also keep Mon Premier but use it for spring and summer. LL is so mysterious and beguiling in all her forms. Just a magical icon of a fragrance all around! And as far as the comparison to LPRN (which I also own), I’m not fully on board with the comparison. Guerlain’s DNA and Guerlinaide is distinctive and is solely Guerlain’s and VERY much present in LPRN and no where found in MP.

*I have now smelt the original LL and honestly, they are similar scents. MP really does have the dna of the original the main difference is the dry down and the sweetness. LL is stronger whereas MP is much sweeter, those cherry notes come through heavy. Overall I still really enjoy the MP even knowing that LL is probably more favorable. I truly TRULY wish the brand would stop beating around the bush and just re-release the original formula with the original bottle. I had to purchase a used 50ml original for nearly a 100 dollars off of ebay. Its frustrating because the brand would make a fortune if they just gave us back the OG lolita. People on ebay are content selling it for over 300 dollars and it's such a shame. REVIEW: wow, okay I totally get it. this stuff really is magical. I was so looking forward to buying it that my expectations were so high I literally had NO clue what this stuff would smell like other than it is so SO amazing. So my first reaction was "OH WOW" because I have never smelt anything like it. I'm addicted. Instantly addicted. The initial notes are cherry, violet, and ivy, almost like stepping into a forest with dew settling on the leaves. That star anise comes through with the spice, It smells poisonous but in a completely alluring way. Think Uma Thurman's, Poison Ivy. It has this sort of beautiful yet toxic allure to it really. The vanilla comes through later on but DAMN. I am impressed. Seriously, don't believe the hate on this one if you haven't tried the original LL. It will not disappoint at all. Total forest nymph vibes. Earthy and wet yet it the most wonderful way. It makes me want to run through a beautiful forest, eat candied fruits and flowers. Love it so so much. THIS is my new signature scent. Think Forest nymph running through the trees; ethereal, wild, strange and alluring. Maybe it is inferior to the original LL, but for now, since I can't get my hand on a bottle of that, it TOTALLY suffices. You can't miss what you never had before. And since I am ignorant to the scent of the OG, I totally love the mon premier as is! 10/10

Such an unexpected surprise! While I knew about this fragrance, I was never interested in it. I wanted to try others from this house, though. I saw the tiny bottle in the drugstore and could not resist the urge to spray. The scent was amazing. The main note here is the cherry, being sour, juicy and synthetic. It smells exactly like a cherry chapstick which I love! A soft, powdery note of star anise combined with licorice makes the fragrance powdery and slightly sweet. I can also smell a little ivy and violet. The rest of the notes are quite distant however I do need to give the fragrance a few more wears to fully understand it. What I love about "Mon Premier Parfum" is that it is not at all sugary despite being a gourmand scent. The sweetness is very subtle which makes it gentle, wearable and appropriate for everyday use. It is very easy to wear yet unique. Women of all ages will be able to pull it off. Not a childish fragrance at all. In fact, some teenagers may not enjoy this because it is not that sweet. I recommend that you test it before purchasing! Despite being pleasant, it has its quirks. It reminds me of Britney Spears' 2001 music, especially her "Cinderella" song. It appears to be grown up while retaining some youthful qualities. "I'm Not a Girl, Not Yet a Woman" in a perfume form. Cinderella herself would probably wear this perfume, too. It is a great reminder to not take yourself too seriously. For your inner child. This is probably unpopular, but I prefer this bottle to the original one. I have to give major props to this house because all of their bottles are stunning. I love each and every one I have seen. They are unique, adorable and fairy tale like. I love how imperfect and unusual they are. The design of the box is also beautiful. LL, along with Thierry Mugler, have the best bottles in my opinion. Longevity: 6 to 8 hours depending on the amount of sprays. Sillage: moderate to soft. Noticeable, but not overpowering. As I said, the fragrance is very easy to wear. Overall: 7/10 I cannot wait to try "Homme" next!

Just a quick disclaimer: I've never smelled the original Lolita Lempicka. However, if it's even better than this (like everyone seems to think), then all I can say is WOW. Because this is absolutely gorgeous, and it's probably going to take the spot of one of my top 5 favorite fragrances. I cannot get enough of it, and when I've finished the bottle, I will certainly either repurchase Mon Premier or try the "original" formulation (whatever I can find) because it's just that good. On me, I get the cherry, licorice, ivy, and a healthy dose of vetiver. It's both sweet and green, a perfect balance between the two. Oddly enough, one of the reasons I love this so much is because it reminds me of my favorite movie: Corpse Bride (for those who have seen the movie, hopefully this comparison helps you get a feel for this fragrance). To me, when I smell this I think of the scene where Emily is dancing in the forest under the moonlight. She's dead, sure, but that doesn't stop her from enjoying herself and appreciating how beautiful the night is. The moment is sweet and quirky, but also sad (even a tad moody, like the rest of the film), and I would definitely use all of those words to describe this fragrance: sweet and quirky, yet sad, a tad moody. I think I'm going to get a lot of use out of this in the fall and spring, but especially in the spring, when I'm missing cloudier days. I'd say, if you want to smell as quirky as a classic Tim Burton heroine, a mysterious forest nymph, an enchanting green-witch, or all of the above, get your hands on this.

Softly feminine and inoffensive, the best word that describes my thoughts when I wear this scent is “ethereal” and “innocent”. It makes me think of the Chateau de Chantilly ceiling painting featuring angels surrounded by fluffy clouds in a bright blue sky. I feel like this perfume will be perfect for spring and summer days when I’m wearing dresses in whites and pastels. I feel like there’s something refreshing upon initial spray. The scent is a little sweet, but there’s something brightening the scent up and elevating it. After a few seconds the scent becomes more “waxy” on my skin - it makes me think of Yankee Candle wax cakes or the sometimes waxy feeling of the peel of an apple. This could be due to my body chemistry though! It’s not an issue when sprayed on my clothes. Also, the silage is low - it’s more of a skin scent. After a few minutes (maybe 5?) the scent becomes less waxy and it enters a more interesting stage, which makes me think of safe adventures. I imagine a young, beautiful woman in a flowy white dress running through a pale blue/purple forest. Cherries are the most prominent in the final stage (maybe 3 hours in) with a little bit of sweetness. I don’t find this scent to be sour at all, and I can’t detect any star anise which I’m happy about :) Update: I spritzed this on my dress and went to pick up a package at a service point, and the lady there complimented me. She said I smelled very summery!

Not a review... just a confusing observation: 😵💫 I have been looking everywhere for the “Original” version but cannot find it anywhere. I have checked several commercial websites like Fragrancenet and all I find is a modern apple bottle that just says Lolita Lempicka and the packaging (box) that says Lolita Lempicka Eau de Parfum. This bottle and packaging looks exactly the same as the Mon Premier bottle and packaging on the Lolita Lempicka Paris official website. Mind you, the Mon Premier bottles on the official Lolita website DO NOT say Mon Premier anywhere on the bottle or packaging either, nor do they anywhere else. So if purchasing from Fragrancenet for example, what exactly am I getting? Is it Mon Premier even though Mon Premier is no where listed on the bottle or box? The only offering from the official Lolita website are for Le Parfum and for Mon Premier. There is no 2020 Original shown or listed there. So does this 2020 Lolita Lempicka Original not exist anymore/ no longer available? Was it ever available? If so what happened? I’m not sure what even to purchase... let alone what I would be getting. Why is the Mon Premier not indicated as such on the bottle and packaging? When the Original from 2020 and Le Parfum clearly are. If anyone has knowledge and insight... please enlighten me. I would be most grateful. 🙏🏽

i've been into perfumes for 15 years so i seldom get excited these days as much as i did during my first years. but this one is very good! it is very whimsical. It is a Snow Queen if she is wearing a light purple or forest fairy eating cherries. imagine an enchanted forest with frozen trees and purple flowers like a carpet, also there are cherries on some trees, the cherries are sweet but also covered with ice and sugar, there is something green in between those purple flowers, but it is covered with frost (or sugar crystals). Or, imagine you are at a ballet performance, where the scene is winter, forest, dancers are dressed in light purple with snow crystals, there is a smell of face powder, cosmetics, lipstick in the air - this is how it smells to me. It is sweet but in a cold way, which is nice, too many sweet perfumes feel very warm, too warm to me. This is definitely perfume for winter and it feels like it has some magic in it, so it is so nice i got it a few days before Christmas. I smell cherry and licorice mostly, but there is something slightly so green and cold to balance it out. I can see this perfume fitting well for a girl who is in lipsticks and makeup, a goth queen, and any girl or woman who enjoys things feminine and girly, no matter the age.

I was heavily dissapointed in this. I was so sad because it seemed right up my alley. Seems that isn't so. Let me start off by saying this smells exactly like the impression you can get from Dollar Tree. I've tricked myself a few times into believing the real deal would be better than the Dollar Tree versions, but every time I allow myself to believe that way, I regret my decisions 🤣 For me, LLMP smells like a mixture of a sweet soap with a mature vibe mixed with Dazzle by Paris Hilton(very synthetic cherry that smells like Kool aid.) Projects well and lasts days on clothing, performance wasn't as great on skin. I was so ready for something that would transport me to an enchanted forest like many experience with this perfume, however it just didn't work for me. Edit 5/11/22: I started craving for the cherry scent in this perfume after wearing Dolce and Gabbana The Only One 2 for a few days. Something about it made me think back to this perfume. I re-ordered LLMP and I love it now. It smells much stronger on my clothes so I don't even waste it by using any on my skin. It's powdery, soapy, sweet cherry for me and smells clean but candy-like at the same time.

I never got to smell the original Lolita Lempicka so my review is not based on that. I can only say Mon Premier is one of my favorite fragrances. It's sweet, fruity, powdery, soft spicy scent. I've been stopped in stores to ask what I'm wearing and friends and family always tell me how good I smell everytime I have this on too, which has never happened before. It's really beautiful, delicious and there is something special about it. I also have the 2021 Le Parfum which is like a grown-up version of Mon Premier. I think they have the same notes but MP is more youthful with the strong cherry and sweet praline, while LP has more prominent anise, licorice and musk that is sexy and almost animalic to me. I believe if you want something more closely resembling the original, get Le Parfum. I personally still enjoy Mon Premier more. For the price point the sillage, projection and longetivity are good (given the amount of compliments I get). I don't enjoy frangrances that stick on your skin and clothes forever anyway.

Sampling this for the first time today and something about it reminds me of Le Roy Soleil, minus the cinnamon, bunch of floral and tropical fruit notes in the latter.. I suppose both have base notes of musk, vetiver, tonka bean and vanilla, so this is where i’m picking up on a similarity. Without comparing it to another scent, I would say I really like this and am likely to purchase a full-sized bottle. I’m not impressed at all by the bottle change however... I heard it was because the new company could not get the rights to the bottle design and so HAD to change it but really what a shame. I know this is a relaunch? or new launch of an old scent with this version having come out in 2017, but I feel you can definitely smell the old school vibes this scent has and so for the most part the new owners of this brand have achieved this if they were intending to stick with it and not attempt to modernise it.

I remember spraying this in store and it smelling like sweet play do to me. I didn't like it at all and forgot about it. Saw a gift set with a mini version and a purse spray in an outlet store and bought it bc why not, and the box was cute. I am in love I thought it was the original one, not the mon premier, because if I knew it had fruity notes I wouldn't have gotten it. I never thought I could like a cherry fragrance but this is so nice on me! It smells like carnival in a bottle but in a comforting, nostalgic way. To me, a perfect warm, sweet hug in this cold season. The cherry is not too sugary, but still sweet and not tart at all. Imagine cherry marzipan. Some woody and powdery notes make it very unique and wearable even as an adult and for work. It doesn't project too much to bother others, it is more like a subtle aura of scent. I like it more and more the more I wear it, might get a full size

I always wanted a perfume, that would have a strong cherry smell. I was searching for it in the Guerlain La Petite Robe Noire and instead found just a generic fruity scent with a hint of cherry, where as this one... I can definitely smell the cherry - mostly in the beginning but then it fades a bit (but I can still clearly point it out) and mixes with all the other notes, becomes spicy and sweet. I can imagine this one being worn in all seasons, except summer. To me it also smells like a fragrance, a younger person would wear. I found that it doesn't last as long as I'd like it to on my skin (on the clothes it definitely stays for longer), but I really enjoy the moderate sillage of it, since I was searching for a nice day-time perfume. EDIT* Unfortunately this perfume doesn't last on me at all. I can overspray it at first and it will still disapper in a matter of 2 hours.

LLMP was my first love in perfume and a monumental romance in my life, despite it being the lame ref it's said to be. It was so groundbreaking to my previously clueless nose that it lead me to this new hobby of "testing perfumes until I feel the Lolita Lempicka effect again". I even refrained from making it my signature, to keep the magic from settling. Well I failed and wore it to the point of breaking up, sad story is. What I didn't understand in the beginning was MP smells gorgeous on clothes (where it most lingers and best develops) and smells amazing enough in the air to distract me from the weird bug spray it becomes on my skin. Weirdly synthetic and borderline dirty. Pains me to say because I have about a thousand other beautiful observations about the juice alone and how wonderful it makes my wardrobe smell, but I'll save those for when I review the original LL.

This is one my all time favourite fragrances for cooler weather. It's soft and sweet in a licorice kind of way, not in a sugary gourmand way. There is an element of cherry chapstick to this, but I wouldn't say it's a lipstick scent. I agree with the other reviewers who said there's something magical/whimsical about this that's hard to describe.. like walking through a dense, cold fog, looking for something but you don't quite know what that something is.... it's definitely mysterious. To me this is predominantly cherry, licorice, anise, violet and musk, and it stays that way from begining to end even though the cherry is the strongest in the opening. I don't pick up on any vanilla, praline or tonka at all. Even though the sillage isn't the best, it lasts forever on clothes, so anyone within arm's reach from you will definitely smell it all day!

Such a pretty fragrance but not in your generic way. I don’t know what cleaning supplies people are using but this is straight up light vanilla and licorice, lightly powdery/ floral and cherry notes. At first I didn’t think I had anything in my collection like it but then I realised it is like a lighter slightly floral , less linear, less animatic version of the black bottle Le Petite Robe Noir. Silage isn’t huge, perhaps within arms length but longevity is good and I get whiffs of it up to eight hours after spraying. Lolita Lempicka make lovely perfumes the men’s version of this is beautiful and unique also. If you are having performance issues with your perfume, be sure to use an up fragrances body moisturiser. I don’t really moisturise but this lasts all day on me.

Ok I'm a certified dyed-in-the-wool gourmand hater and unisex perfume enjoyer and NEVERTHELESS I blind bought this perfume after hearing it referred to (over and over again) as the ubiquitous forest fairy scent. This is easily one of my favorite scents I've ever worn even though it's so far from what I usually go for. The cherry/vanilla/tonka/anise is sweet but not even a little bit cloying. It smells like the bubbles popping in an ice cold diet cherry coke, I don't know how else to describe it. The ivy and violet makes it more wearable and mature. My only gripe is that it has very poor projection -- it's basically a skin scent (on me at least). It does last a good while, but I'm usually the only one who smells it.

UGHHHH THIS SMELLS SO GOOD 😭😭😭 i love this stuff so much woww. i bought a sample of this a few years back and used it up so fast because i loved it so much. i just got the 1 oz bottle in the mail for christmas and WOW it is actually so good. i might also be blinded by nostalgia but if i had to review it from an objective perspective, its very sweet, and fruity. i get the vanilla, the licorice, and the florals. i usually hate cherry perfumes but this one is blended so well im obsessedddd! its yummy but not gourmand yummy, more of a “i cant stop smelling my wrist” yummy. the mix of the base notes is reminiscent of cocoa butter in my opinion. so so so good + it layers beautifully with vanilla bourbon by mix bar.

Bro this shit makes you smell like the purple fairy the horny crackhead imagines right when the LSD kicks in. Imagine the cute npc in a fantasy jrpg who's romanceable but sends the player on 10 unskippable side quests and requires an ungodly amount of in-game currency and micro-transactions for a single kiss. Now, imagine that with fairy wings. Bingo. At the same time, this also smells like that one cute goth girl that everybody wants but everybody else is intimidated by. "That girl" but make it whimsical and gothic. This perfume is like the girl who doesn't even try but always mogs everyone else in the room. Impeccable aura. Lolita Lempicka may not bepregnant, but she always delivers. 10/10 would buy again.

I bought this on a whim, not expecting to fall in love witht the fragance. It's a dusty old fragance, that reminds me of my grandma's sewing kit. A danish cookie box, filled with dusty threads and an old soap for marking the fabric. I feel the opening to be quite underwhelming, a sweet nothing, slightly cherry-like, but it's after a while, when the sweetless settle down and the smell of dusty lavender and licorice that the fragance shows it's true colors. I live in a place where it's not really common to buy designer fragances for children, at least not until the late teens, so I don't have the asociation of children perfume most of the posters have, but I can imagine how that might be a dealbreaker.

God, I love this fragrance more than I thought I would. I purchased a sample of the OG fragrance while on the lookout for winter fragrances and thought it was okay, so I bought a bottle and didn't realize I got Mon Premier instead. Once I noticed, I sprayed and compared each, and I like this one so much more! I don't usually care for sweeter fragrances, but something about the blend of the anise, cherry, and greenery feels so whimsical, dreamlike, and complex. The staying power feels stronger to me than the original, and as always, it lasts much longer on clothing and hair. I'm no note connoisseur, but it smells like sweet pea to me too. I'm obsessed and will definitely be keeping it in my rotation!

I wore this while on a walk in the forest with my family and wow... With the smell of pine and moss in the background, Mon Premier really smells incredible. I really felt like I was walking in a magical forest. I actually wish there were more 'foresty' notes in the fragrance itself, it was amazing. I also own the old Lolita Lempicka formulation. I agree with everything sagasar wrote below. The original LL DNA is there, but MP evolves differently. I find it stays very sweet throughout, while LL dries down into a warm and more rounded scent. MP is also a little more powdery on first spray. LL is still my favourite of the two, but Mon Premier still has all the notes I loved in LL.

This scent has almost nothing to do with Guerlain's Black Perfecto which has a prominent rose and leather note, so it is a lot deeper. However, it does resemble the blast of cherry kissed with orris from the original LPRN for a little bit during its development, but this is where the similarity ends. This is a lot more interesting fragrance than LPRN. The green notes are wild in this one, the ivy accord, cold anise and licorice with the sweetness of powdery violet. The original Lolita DNA is very much present here. Anise is really strong throughout and this can be a challenge if you don't like that type of fragrance. Otherwise, it is lovely, ethereal and otherwordly.

Que rico es Lolita Lempicka, amo este perfume, estuve obsesionada con tenerlo y antes de eso me compre una cajita qué venía el perfume versión cartera y una crema, me encantó el aroma en mi, al inicio no me gustó por el tema que lo encontraba muy verde y yo soy de oler muy dulce, me obligue a que me guste pero no lo lograba. Al segundo día sentí que este perfume se estaba volviendo cada vez más dulce, es como El primer splash fuera para asustarte y de ahí sentí que estaba en un bosque a punto de recoger frutos rojos. Este perfume es muy Alicia en el país de las maravillas, una pena no haber llegado a probar el original y solo pueda llegar a conseguir el mon premier.

For my whimsigoth girlies out there, when i say you'll most likely fall in love with lolita lempicka fragrances i mean it. as a gen z-er didnt experience the time, but this is what comes to mind when i think of being a teen in the 90's. its a spicy, sweet, tart cherry. if the description sounds good and you wanna smell unique definitely wont hurt to try it out. this is not for everybody though; it's certainly not the most mature perfume around but its definitely worth a try to see if you like it or not! i rarely wear this but its still worth keeping in my collection and when i do, i love to layer it. longevity is decent, sillage is also alright. one of LL's best!

Never smelled the original so I can't say if this is a good reformulation or not. What I can tell you is, I LOVE this! The opening is tart cherries and black licorice and then that fades a bit and you get a sweet powdery musk, still with the cherry and a hint of licorice. Sadly, there's not much of a projection and it only lasts a few hours on the skin. It lasts all day on clothes. I can see how the cherry & licorice combo can come off as medicinal (my husband asked what smelled like cherry robitussin after I first sprayed it) but I love it! The dry down is just so dreamy and soft and comforting to me. Just wish it were stronger and lasted longer!

Watery, purple, soft but fresh at the same time. It starts with a bit of liquorice that grows stronger and more dominant over time. When I compare it on paper to Alien they do have some similarities after a few hours, but Lolita is like a light and watery ethereal version of Alien, a lot softer and less indolic. Lolita Lempicka is one of my very first loves. The sillage is fairly strong, I can smell it from a distance and when I've worn it to work other people tend to remark on it. Smelling this makes me feel really happy, I can feel the corners of my lips lift up when I press my nose against the skin. I love everything about it.

I am just late to the game with this one! Never having tried the OG, this smells beautiful to me! The bottle is also beautiful with all the facets and hints of ivy! To me, this smells of cherries, and licorice the whole way through. I happen to love cherries and licorice (I'm a Good & Plenty addict!) Its a dark fragrance and for me, best suited for Fall and Winter. Today is a cloudy and blustery day and this is the perfect scent to enjoy the day! I am not sure how it projects off of me, I'm in the office and no one has commented... It seems to last about 6-8 hours on me. I cant stop smelling my wrists...it's a love!

I will be as terse as possible on this... If anyone in the marketing department of LL cares about what the consumers want (since the consumers kept it on top for more than 20 years), they will certainly consider bringing back the original "Lolita Lempicka" by "Lolita Lempicka" in its original licorice recipe (if not in the original bottle as well) ! It is still impressive, however, not as it used to be in my opinion. July 20th 2019 update: Thank you "Bell, Book & Candle" for your support. Of all perfumes I am very sensitive about the original LL, since it has marked a huge part of my young adult life and memories...

Contrary to popular belief, for me Mon Premier is a perfect summer perfume. It has some freshness to it, that Le Parfum lacks (the latter being more suitable for colder seasons). Mon Premier is a bit sparkly, like a liquorice and cherry soda, with violet always on the background, and it is not as dense as other Lempickas (I'm thinking of all the Minuit-Midnight flankers, for instance). As of today, Lolita Lempicka remains the most unique and special brand you'll find in "conventional" and designer perfumery. Even with the reformulations (kudos for the CF and vegan efforts), it's still legendary for a reason!

This is definitely an enchanting perfume... each time i smell it, i fall more and more in love with it! I bought this as a sample, thinking it was the original.... but with a second check realizing it was the "mon premier" version. Not disappointed at all, though. Great sillage and I also think it smells amazing on clothes. The bright cherry & ivy, mixed with the complex floral notes, sweet licorice and anise really sharpens everything and keeps it interesting, while the vanilla/tonka/musk grounds it down... incredible. Very 90s IMO. I love it! Makes me very interested in the other perfumes in this line.

Heard a lot about this perfume so when I found it, I immediately bought it. The first time I smelt this, sprayed on the box it came in, I wasn't a fan. Smelt like weird heavy shampoo, like, way too heavy. I thought I'd love this bc I love Dielsel's Loverdose and the licorice and star anise notes. Tried it the next day on my skin and once it dried down, it was magic! There it is - sprayed on my skin I smelt the star anise and licorice I was looking for! It's fruity, sweet and has a unique spice that keeps you sniffing for more! So glad I didn't sell this one! Got the 30 ml at SDM on the cheap shelves!

Heavily a voluptuous sour cherry & a little anise. It smells like something from my childhood that i can’t put my finger on. When you sniff right next to the skin after dry-down it has a synthetic plastic or dead vape-ish note but it’s not unpleasant and pretty much undetectable. if a witch made a bath and body works scent, this would be it. i can see why people think this smells basic or juvenile, but mon premier parfum is so much more than that. there's that blast of body-spray fruitiness in the opening, but it dries down to something quite layered and interesting. the anise and licorice feel unexpected and keep the scent from feeling generic. on my skin, this becomes a very green, uplifting scent after a few hours. mon premier parfum is perfect for all seasons, not just colder weather. perfect for someone who has a whimsical, witchy, or otherwise gothic style.

I love it PERIOD. Sadly, I have to spray a few times a day to reinvigorate it, but it inspires such a jubilant and spritely mood, I don’t mind a few extra sprays. Plus, it’s affordable, so I don’t feel too guilty indulging a bit. It’s the perfect, quintessential scent for a fairy soul...makes me feel like wearing ethereal, flowy clothing in various shades of purple and pale greens, glitter eyeshadow and winged eyeliner. In short, it opens up an extra dimensional world of magic to escape the harshness of reality or simply adds a bit of whimsy and sparkle to one’s daily routine.

this takes me back to when i got a sample of "lolita lempicka - lolita lempicka" and as i was about to buy the whole bottle i found out its been long discontinued. if le parfum and mon premier parfum had a child, it would be the original LL. beautiful cherry, soil-like undertones, which makes it nicely complex. although i personally find myself enjoying le parfum a bit more as it retains more of this earthiness, the licorice in MPP is absolutely delicious. anise is also more prominent here, which i reallyyy appreciate. recommend if you want a unique perfume!

While this version of Lolita Lempicka is somewhat similar to the original, it's not exactly the same The original has a deeper scent with a better longevity, the 2018 version is sweeter and has a different dry down. It's sweet, it's powdery and soft spicy just like said, but on my skin chemistry i definitely get more of the violets, licorice, vanilla and anise This version is also good for moderate/cold weather, i personally love wearing this when it's raining outside. It's unique and super cute

I stumbled upon this by accident, intrigued by the idea of a licorice scent. The spooky marketing then captured my 90s "we are the weirdos mister" soul. This is a special kind of scent, something that won't be appreciated by the masses, rather, might get you reported to HR. But secretly to myself I drench myself in this obnoxious witchy brew whenever I can. My only regret is I didn't know about this brand earlier to have collected the full range of all permutations starting from the original.

Lolita Lempicka Mon Premier Parfum begins like a delightful Cherry Sazerac cocktail - maraschino cherry syrup, absinthe, cognac and a sugar cube. The star anise blooms right after the cherry and then it settles down. Much less sweet in the middle, the licorice root, violet and distinctive amaryllis mix well with a light cherry and gentle vanilla musk. What lingers is a sweet botanical gourmand fragrance. It's distinctive and pleasant and does in fact smell like fairy shampoo. 🧚🏼

I thought I ordered a sample of the original, but I'm only realising I ordered the Mon Premier version. I'm mainly smelling a sweet, juicy cherry. After it settles I can smell some green, spicy notes with violet, but the fruity cherry notes are still prominent. It's youthful, and it does a have an ethereal fairycore vibe and I LOVE cherries 😍 I love this, but I would really like to get my hands on the original LL I ordered a vintage bottle, I can't wait to see the difference.

What can I say. Pure fairy tale. It's not too strong, but you can smell it, its not intrusive but star of the room anyway. I bought this one because the notes are the same as the OG Lolita. It is attentative and shy. Licorice is the best ever in this delicate liquid. I do not like a cherry scents but this one I just love, it is so well blended and mixed. Even though the projection is fine I would love if it is a bit stronger. Three sprays last about 4 hours than fades.

I used to have a bottle of the original LL a few years ago, and maybe my memory is deceiving me, but this smells basically identical. I'm not often attracted to super sweet or gourmand-y fragrances, but she's different. Despite the cherry, licorice, praline, and vanilla notes, this actually doesn't read as a gourmand on me at all. LL embodies an eccentric sweetness, deepened by a dark, mysterious attitude- it's the perfect goth girl fragrance.

I don’t even like cherry scents and I love this! And this is going to sound weird, but I like it even more when I rinse where I sprayed with water (or after a shower with unscented soap), the cherry note is reduced and the ivy comes through, it turns thoroughly magical. Edit: the drydown on this is incredible... wow. Very powdery, kind of musky but like an ivy on stone and soil rather than a soapy one. I caved and bought a 100ml bottle.

This perfume is so dreamy! It was recommended to me (as a lover of perfumes that smell magical, whimsical, or like they were brewed in a cauldron) and I bought it blind. Safe to say I am NOT disappointed. She's sweet and fruity, and softly spicy. The cherry is so bright and playful and the anise/violet combo is so beautifully powdery. LOVE. If I was a magical fairy living in a princess's castle, this is what I would smell like.

Tried few years ago when my friend purchased one. It was nice and unique so I'm curious to get one for myself. The cherry scent is dominant, even after few minutes it still lingers (I won't complain since it's my favorite scent, haha). It's not too artificial because there's a hint of licorice and anise, so it's a bit spicy and not overly sweet. The silage and longevity are better than current LL perfume I own (L'eau en Blanc)!

This was my signature scent in college, I had the original bottle with the stem sprayer and bought it at Sephora. The experience of spraying it on made me feel like an enchanted woodland fairy and I loved it! I mentioned it in conversation with my boyfriend and last year he bought me this new version for Christmas. It’s nostalgic but it is definitely slightly different from the original. Still very fun and spicy and sweet.

Me huele a cereza con vainilla y flores, y otra cosa que no logro distinguir, no es gourmand pero si es muy dulce, un dulce terroso, me gusta usarlo en época de lluvias siento que destaca su olor, si me recuerda el olor a un bosque húmedo con muchas flores 💐🍒el Dancing Night de Cyzone si es un buen dupe, pero es muy suave y le falta la parte terrosa de este, vale la pena comprarlo por qué además dura muchísimo.

My favorite <3 I've never had the chance to experience the original :( My husband goes feral for this fragrance... It's an eye-roller for him. I love it too! It brings to mind an enchanted forest. A nymph would chloroform you with it and you'd hallucinate some weird glittery dream. This is probably what a lady would be wearing in that peach dream sequence in Labyrinth ... Smells like a forbidden candy kingdom.

Magic in the bottle! For me this scent reminds "Amethyst" by Lalique. I would say that here I feel this black berry note too. (I know there is no, but it feels like there is). BUT..Lolita is deeper juice, more developing, more complex of some other notes that creates very special mood, feeling like I am in a Wonderland! All over there are blossoming unknown beautiful flowers and plants. Amazing!
