Mon Eau

A delightfully playful & flirty summer scent with just a hint of drama that anise always seems to give to Lolita Lempicka perfumes but with more summer air added to it. I find it very difficult to fall in love with summer appropriate scents but this was an easy one to love & add to my collection. It starts off with the typical LL anise but quickly settles down into sweet berry scent with just a hint of fresh citrus to make it clear that this is a warm weather fragrance. The lime reminds me of a few Lush fragrances (Superworldunknown for sure) and it works perfectly here. After about thirty to forty-five minutes, it dries down into a really nice musky chamomile scent with anise still flavoring the edges and raspberry playfully peeking around the corner from time to time. It lasts about 6-8 hours on me before fading away but that's usually when I'm in the mood for a spicier, sexy evening scent anyway so that's ideal for this enby. I'm definitely starting a LL collection now as their perfumes always hit my femme side perfectly. (13 year old me would be so happy 😂)

I wish this scent lasted all day, I wish it formed a cloud, but it barely lasts a few hours. If they ever remake the composition into a lasting formula I will buy it again, if it doesn't happen I must abstain. This fragrence causes me heartache, it dissapears before I remember to smell my wrists again. This is the smell of the Virgin suicides, what I want to be covered in on a winter Sunday, knitting and tearing up. This is how a marzipan pink scarf worn inside to hide behind smells like, a familiarity I can attach to no memory. It has the first Lolita Lempicka's magic, only softer, more teary, very quiet. In the end, too quiet. The nature of things is, when I owned this fragrence I didn't think about it so much, the illusiveness made me forget about its beauty. I only have an empty bottle, and I wish I kept a little for emergencies. It is a wisp.

Full disclosure: I adore LL scents, the OG being my absolute favorite. The anise/licorice notes in most of her scents speaks to my soul. I knew going in that Mon Eau would be a much softer scent. It’s a lovely springtime scent, delicate, much lighter than the OG and Mon Premier. The anise is there so the DNA is intact, but it’s really taken a step back to allow the citrus to play. I’m not a fan of rose scents, so I was guarded when I saw rose listed as a note. It’s definitely there, but FINALLY! A house that got rose right. Not overwhelming, not synthetic. Just a little pop of color in the middle of this gorgeous bouquet. This perfume is understated, definitely for warmer weather. But on days my nose is extra sensitive and doesn’t want the strength of the OG, this lovely perfume is a perfect spritz to tickle my senses and wash me over with joy.

Light and transparent, my nose picks up mostly anise and iris, it's delicate, ethereal, and beautiful. There’s a greenness here that the original didn’t have, giving it a fresher, more airy character. In many ways it reminds me of Prada Infusion d’Iris: both are weightless, almost translucent fragrances. If you like one, you’ll likely enjoy the other. Mon Eau is perfect for days when I want to feel like a forest fairy (which, honestly, is most days). The only drawback is its short longevity, but I don’t mind keeping the beautiful bottle around and reapplying. I thought I wouldn’t like the newer Lolita Lempicka bottles, but in person this one is enchanting, like a magical fairy artifact.

At last a Lolita for me!🤩 It's still a typical Lolita - anise-based but not anise-dominated. Sweet but not cloying. The freshness of all the citrusses and berries does the job here. It's still an "apple-pie" fragrance but in a summer/light version - with Northern forest fruit included, instead of sticky, butter-covered roasted apple. I'm using it now in mid-November when it's dark, cold, windy and rainy outside - and it just rocks it! Awesome cold-season option for a forest-fruit enthusiast😍 Longevity could be better but it's not dramatic either. I don't mind re-applying after 2-3 hours - the bottle is so cute that handling it is great pleasure🥰

i got this perfume when i knew absolutely nothing about fragrances and i just liked the bottle. now i actually realize what a gem this perfume is! the anise is the star of the show, but in a sweet way, as it blends into the other notes without being too overpowering. the chamomile also balances out the lime and lemon beautifully. this smells like a gorgeous tea you’d have in the wintertime. it has such an ethereal quality, and it smells very magical and whimsical. it lasts for about 4–6 hours, and the drydown is lovely. i love this scent so much!!!

I am surprised of bad ranking of that one. I am a grown up woman who tried so many perfumes, including some niche expensive stuff (which in my opinion are not always worth so high price). I found ME very charming and feminin. Finally something that not smell like juice couture or belle la vie - no ofence. I like sour notes so I really love this one. It is like fruit garden that is about to go to sleep; not too fruity, not too sweet. In my opinion one of the best this summer.

I love it. I just got the 2021 Le Parfum and love that. To me this is that DNA like a twin but with a hint of lime. I smell a tiny bit of floral. It's just such a perfectly blended anise parfum. There is a hint of green - I suppose we can call that the chamomile? It's just so ethereal in the dry down. The opening is bright and the mid is a fleeting but beautiful mix. but that dry down is addictive.

I let go of my lolita lempicka eau premiere but I keep this one. There is just something very light hearted about it. The violet anise combo is fabulous. More on the violet ,less on the anise which makes me like it more than the premiere edp. low sillage but longevity is a good 6 hours, a good fresh violet for a person

Sparkling fairy wings in the sun on a spring day or Pixie stix! This smells light and effervescent. It has the Lolita Lempicka magic to it. The projection and longevity is not too bad, I find it's typical for these light type of fragrances. I don't mind reapplying. This is a lovely spring and summer scent.

The original LL is commonly described as the scent of a forest fairy, but to me, it is too thick and heavy to fit that bill. However, to me, Mon Eau invokes exactly that image! This makes me want to try the other flankers in this bottle style (Mon Premier, Sweet, etc), it is that good.

I like this, very fresh citrus up top, with an herbal and aromatic dry down, so to me "mon eau" is a perfect name. It's like an LL take on the traditional eau de cologne. Pretty bottle.

I cannot detect particular notes, but for my nose it is sour-sweet, like a fresh-picked raspberry. It gives an illusion of something tasty, I want to lick my own wrist.

I mostly get the feel of a spicy pink grapefruit. The spice is more like of zesty pith. There is an herbal quality to it as well, perhaps that is the chamomile coming through but it’s more of a chamomile tea or tincture than the actual fresh flower. I make my own chamomile tincture and it definitely reminds of it. It does deviate a bit from the LL dna despite having anise in it. Overall, I feel the fruits and flowers are the most prominent, and whatever spice you might get from the other notes including aniseed just becomes a zesty citrus pithy accord. Spring and summer wardrobe worthy. Pretty, herbal, fruity, and zesty pithy citrus are how I would describe it. I think the pink bottle matches the pink grapefruit vibe it gives me although there is no grapefruit listed in the notes. Personally, it’s too light and safe for me. If you are looking for a more demure LL option, then Mon Eau is a safe choice from the modern LL offerings.

Gorgeous fresh zesty and very close to Mon Premier, only so much more lighter and finer due to the citrus accords and absence of praline. I love Chamomile's presence in the middle, deepening and rounding the citrus zest. A great replacement for ivy imo. Lovely, soft drydown. Always in love 💖 I notice if my nose is used to Mon Premier, Mon Eau only smells of faint citrussy accords. But after a long winter of wearing Narciso Poudree, or Voyage sur la route des Épices, Spellbound and HP, ... ME is such a refined, multifaceted oase of freshness. Just as multidimensional as Mon Premier, only fresher. I don't know how to begin to tell how inspiring i find lolita lempicka's signature perfumes. I love them with all my heart and nose. They bring so much to my life in terms of connection to nature and my craft in herbalism and spirituality. Thank you A. Menardo 💚💜

Sweet, fruity, FRESH and spicy. I think Mon Eau is very nice, but it was too fresh for me. I think performance if fine considering they opted for cleaner ingredients in this and some of their other, newer creations. Maybe it's easier to accept that this doesn't have monstrous sillage or longevity with that in mind. I liked it the times I wore it, but I never reached for it so I gave it to my daughter. I don't know if this is up her alley, but at least it looks cute in her cabinet :)

This is probably the lightest fragrance I have tried out of all the Lolita Lempicka scents. It's similar to Mon Premier but lighter and with berry notes. It does remind me of cough drops straight out of the gate, but it's not overwhelming or sickening. Overall, this would be good if you want a very light (like body spray strength) sweet summer fragrance, or for a girl/teenager.

So pretty. So much potential. I like what I smell while I can smell it. Sadly it doesn't last and has no projection. It's as if someone wearing La Petite Robe Noire, was standing next to you and has just left the room. It is, for me, sadly that fleeting. Such a shame.
