Sweet

I was afraid this was going to be a flop since there's so many mixed reviews on it but IT'S SO GOOD. Initial spray is such a beautiful artificial cherry and candy apple scent-- not the candy apples covered with caramel but the kind that are covered with the hard red cherry candy. I'm a lover of gourmand fragrances and sickly sweet artificial fruit and candy scents and this is surprisingly not either of those things. From reviews on here I thought it was going to be cloyingly sweet and headache-inducing but it's actually got a fresh fruit shampoo feeling to it. The drydown is similar to other Lolita Lempicka fragrances that smell like powdery cosmetics but somehow it doesn't have a dry dustiness about it-- which I assume is the violet in the other fragrances. In fact it doesn't smell as powdery as the other Lolitas such as Le Parfum, Mon Premier, or Lolitaland (I still like them though!) The sillage is average I'd say; my mom could smell that I was wearing it. Longevity is okay also. I was afraid the scent was fleeting and I'd spray it multiple times on my clothing and hair just to smell the addictingly sweet scent but I think maybe I went anosmic to it because 4 hours later when the temperature went up I caught the scent on me a few times. Since 'Sweet' doesn't have as much vanilla or any amber I think it makes a good summer scent because it manages to be sweet without feeling sticky and it smells juicy and refreshing. For the price I think it's an affordable scent to keep around to change things up once in a while when I get tired of vanilla. Of the Lolita Lempicka fragrances I have, my boyfriend finds this scent the most appealing! I happened to be outside when I got my package and I opened it when the sun was shining and the beautiful red faceted bottle sparkled light in all directions in my hand. It's so beautiful. I have the faceted bottle in the blue from "Mon Premier" and it does not look brilliant and beautiful like this red one. All product photos I have seen of it do not do it justice. I hope they keep this scent and faceted design for it.

The name,"Sweet" is spot-on... first spritz is undeniably cherry, along with that same familiar kind of sweet found in orginal Lolita Lempicka. Here is the part where you might jump to the conclusion that it is "for young girls", but oh, no. Not necessarily, anyway. This sweetness is gourmand, but not like cookies, or candy. Nope, this is a cosmetic gourmand. It's a boozy schmoozy cherry party! The "lip gloss" accord I read about and anticipated is unapolagetically present, front and center, and I am SO relieved to discover that, as I feared that claim would be empty marketing, but no ma'am... it is there, and it is the sexy guest of honor. I can even sense the kind of slick stickiness of a high-quality lip gloss; feel the sensation of pressing my lips together and mmmmmmm smearing it in good! ;D The musk shows up early, and it is a nice one, which is important for me, as I LOVE a good musk. This one mingles graciously with the rest, for the duration. Several minutes in, the heart opens up, and here is where the cocoa powder joins the party. I imagine angelica shows up fashionably late here, too, and this team serve to "grow up" the whole affair... warm it up, too. Just when the party is in full swing, everyone is smiling and chatting and getting along well, some rude monster takes the needle off the record, and all the guests groan as they get their coats and go home... way too soon. (Who invited *that* guy?) Cherry, our perky hostess, is left a bit faded from two hours ago, but has to stick around to tidy up, and of course, her dear pal musk stays by her side until it's like nothing happened. The good news is, this is a party that can be revisited any time (and if you are a fan of the sweet and the musky, you will want to)... if you can afford it.

Hmmm, I really love it, it’s very pretty. It’s strange because although it is quite simple and with little depth it’s actually not boring or basic at all, it really doesn’t smell like it needs anything else. In fact, I’ve never smelt anything like it. (except it does smell faintly familiar to the original LL, which I love.) Now, I don’t smell cherries at all, but let’s be real- do fresh cherries actually smell like anything? Or do we just associate cherry smells with maraschino cherries? Because in that case we are really just smelling sugar and brine. Anyway, I smell that faint powdery-musk smell of an empty bag of red liquorice, and I love liquorice smells. I think it’s the first sugary sweet perfume I’ve smelled that belongs on a more mature woman instead of a younger girl, which is great for me because I’m elderly af. I don’t care what anyone says I don’t think this smells cheap or tacky at all. In fact I feel, If this perfume were a lady, I feel she would be one with nature. She would be a natural beauty and she would have a beautiful soul. She’s modest, motherly and wouldn’t try to be what she’s not. She’s reserved, but when she speaks her words matter. She’s genuine and her sweetness is not an act. Also, I can imagine she always smells sweet because she’s always baking sweets for her neighbours. I don’t think this is a head turner fragrance due to the fact that it doesn’t project much, but it’s a great cuddle fragrance, or a great feel good-for-yourself fragrance. If I died wearing this fragrance, I think I would be okay with that.

It is Sweet ! I wouldn't say overly sweet, not sickening, but just sweet. It reminds me of something I know when smelling it, but don't know what exactly. Cherry is the prominent note, followed by iris and cocoa, I would also say sugar since it has a sweet smell. I don't know how angelica smells so I can't tell. The bottle is a georgous translucent red apple, with golden details, out from a fairytale like Snow White, wow. You can also see lips print like someone bit the forbidden apple. I love it, It is sweet and floral at the same time, a bit gourmand because of cherry and cocoa. It's feminine, may be a bit too 'girly' for some of you. It was a blind buy but I love it ! I know I was going to like because I love sweet perfumes, cherries, cocoa, and Lolita Lempicka's perfumes ! Don't hesitate if you have question, I own two bottles of this ! :) Edit : After more than a week of owning it, and wearing it for days, I have to say that longevity is rather poor... So bad. Today I sprayed myself three times, and by three times I mean in the morning, at noon, and in the afternoon, and... Nothing. I can smell a very light scent at times, but if I really want to smell I have to put my nose in my shirt. I have asked to other people if they were smelling anything and the answer was no. That's too bad because I love the fragrance, I've sprayed on my skin and clothes so I don't think I've done something wrong.

It's a veil-like sweetness, tart and well adjusting. Too artificial to qualify as a gourmand, which is a major quality in my opinion. But it does smell a little waxy, I'll say. Not quite like the usual teen-targeted lip smackers, more like the little lipsticks in toy makeup kits for even younger girls. It can be annoying in that sense. While you may think this is one for the teens, there's so much room for appreciation to those between 20 and 30. It brings you back to that time when shopping malls were the it-place. Wearing crazy shades of pink lipstick for the sake of having some makeup on the face - anything - just to feel like our big sisters, cool and daring. Like most LL frags, there's a post dry down effect that comes hours after its prime. When I shower after Sweet, it smells powerfully unique and sophisticated. Though of course it doesn’t project, it keeps me nose-glued to my skin in pure awe. It's intriguing how LL pampers us with these grand finale bonuses to be appreciated by ourselves exclusively, in solitude. It's no different in Sweet. My ultimate wish for Sweet is for the bottle to look more mature, even if it contradicts with the product itself. Something that doesn't look like Ever After High merch. I mean come on...

i really love this fragrance. i primarily get sour cherry and sugar from the first spritz and for the first 30 minutes or so. it smells super sweet like cherry candy, but not too artificial. after a while, i get more of the middle and base notes. i smell the cashmere wood and iris, along with the cacao. it's a very beautiful, feminine and complex fragrance. this fragrance is reminiscent of my childhood, and i cant pinpoint my finger on why. i am positive my mom must have had a fragrance that mirrored this one, but i don't remember it. it almost smells waxy, or lipsticky. it reminds me of the playset makeup i would get as a child. if you played with those kid makeup sets made for little girls you'd know what i mean. there is a very nostalgic quality to this fragrance. it's a late 90s, early 2000s, y2k fragrance. with one spray im transported to the days i used to use a flip phone and collect webkinz. it's not a childish frag, it just has that aesthetic of the early 2000s. it almost reminds me of... christmas? we used to have this cherry jam we'd eat on thanksgiving and christmas. it's so cute and sweet, its a very powerful feminine scent that radiates confidence and a soft sweetness. i love this perfume so much! ♡

I read “cherry-cocoa lip-gloss accord” and wondered—“What the heck is that?” Then I smelled it and realized it’s exactly that, perfectly articulated. Sweet, juicy cherries over an accord that’s reminiscent of high end lipstick (go smell something like Lancôme L’Absolu Rouge if you don’t know what I mean)—a little floral, a little plastic, a lot familiar—blended with a creamy, cocoa-infused musk. Maceration definitely improves this one and brings the cocoa out more. As someone who is rarely without a signature red lipstick and includes Rockabilly influences in my personal style, I find Sweet immensely fun and on brand. It’s flirty, fruity, and a little bit synthetic, but that’s part of the charm. She’s not trying to be “clean girl” or “old money” or anything like that, and definitely has a vintage flavor that stands out in the sea of modern woody cherry fragrances. I think this could be a polarizing scent and might feel too old for some and too young for others. I had a sample, then bought a full bottle in the largest size. My one sadness is I think the previous bottle design with the little stem top was cuter. The current iteration is a faceted bottle with a plain gold top.

I recently repurchased this gem of a perfume after almost 3 years. This was my favorite perfume in late 2021. I went through a 30ml and 100ml bottle in the span of the last two and a half years. I used to think that what this perfume lacked was a vanilla note but now that I’ve been wearing it everyday again I think it’s perfect. I kept catching whiffs of it and thinking it was somebody elses perfume and realised it was me lol. The way I’d describe it now is: sweet and powdery gourmand. Cacao cake topped with cherries. Baby powder. It opens with a fresh sour cherry and gives the impression of a cherry shower gel or shampoo and then develops into a beautiful powdery cacao scent with a hint of cherry. This perfume to me is perfection, my favorite ever cherry perfume. No other cherry perfume has topped this one for me. It’s the one and only for me, THEE cherry perfume. The only downside for me is that it doesn’t last long. You get 3 hours max of this perfume which is a shame. I’ve been overspraying this like crazy, I’m sure currently my whole apartment smells like Sweet lol

This is my all time favourite cherry perfume! I bought this back in fall 2021 and was obsessed with it for months, wore it every single day for like half a year. This perfume made me very interested in cherry perfumes, I tried a lot of them and bought quite a few but none of them are as good as this one. This one can be a bit screechy at first, to me the only flaw in the perfume is that it lacks some depth. It’s very light, very very sweet and slightly synthetic smelling - which is something I enjoy in fragrances. It smells like cherry gummy candy and lipgloss with a hint of angelica and musk. I personally can’t detect the cacao note at all so honestly this perfume is 95% cherry. It doesn’t last super long which is dissapointing. You’ll get a good 3 hour wear with it. Some people might find this a bit juvenile which is fair so if you’re looking for a sexy and seductive cherry fragrance - this is not it. In that case get yourself Scandal by Night by JPG or even Lost Cherry by Tom Ford. However, if you like sweet gourmand girly fragrances, this is it.

Sweet opens up with a realistic cherry note, which somewhat surprised me given the name of the fragrance. I was expecting maraschino cherries, but in reality, I get what more closely resembles a bowl of fresh cherries, pits and all. The dry down becomes sweeter - it resembles the original Lolita Lempicka, but without the licorice. I can't pick out any specific notes after the cherry dissipates. Still, it is an enjoyable fragrance. Longevity isn't the best, which I don't mind, but I know this can be annoying to others. Sweet could definitely be an everyday, year round scent for those who like the original LL but don't like to wear it at any time other than the colder months due to the spiciness. It's also a sweet fragrance that doesn't feel too young or childish. EDIT: I ended up falling in love with this scent and just purchased a full bottle!

I got a travel size with the full bottle, but also a travel size of the OG Lolita Lempicka. I have to say that I prefer Sweet. Sweet is a girly cherry musk, a flirty relaxing smell. I love the original LL and I'm glad I've tried it, but it reminds me too much of my signature scent Guerlain La Petite Robe Noire. After 1-2 hours, the cherry bomb fade into a sweeter LL DNA musk, but Sweet doesn't have the darkness of the original LL, it's more of a soft woody cacao. For those who think the opening of too overwhelming, no worries, it's really wearable afterwards. Personally I wish the intense cherry opening last longer, but I don't dislike it because it's overall a cozy perfume with no harshness. The performance is average, depending of what I do I tend to reapply it after 4-5 hours, but I can see myself rebuy it.

This perfume just smells like a fun time. It's the sort of scent you put on for a silly night out on the town where anything can happen. It's the smell of cherry chapstick and comes across slightly boozy at first before settling into a cosy musk. I has absolutely not sticking power, but the bottle is fun to carry about and spritz if and when you need a boost. I like to layer this sometimes with flowerbomb ruby orchid to amp up the powder to 11. I could also see myself wearing this to work on more casual days to keep my spirits up and a smile on my face. It's not an elegant scent, but it's got the energy of that one girl in the smoking area/bathroom that calls you gorgeous before you go out to the dance floor to have a little shimmy. I love this perfume 🥺 it is a very nostalgic smell for me. It smells very sweet, it kind of reminds me of snocones from the ice cream trucks haha. All I really get is sweet syrupy cherry, sugar, musk. Interesting it uses sour cherries, it smells so sweet to me. When I think sour I think Lost Cherry, sweet is more Valentina Blush or Givenchy Live Irrésistible Délicieuse. This also very very slightly reminds me of the original formulation of Lancome Idole. My coworkers always ask what I'm wearing when I use this and compliment it. Sometimes the sweetness of this fragrance can feel a little childish, however I'm 30 and own a bottle and two backups. I can also confirm that the new repackage of this smells basically the same as the old bottles thankfully.

Undeniably girly. On first spray, I get straight candy- or maybe more accurately, cherry jello- it's like being submerged in it. Despite being so sickly sweet, there's something teasingly sexy about it. The candy takes a background role post drydown while a complicated peppery spice comes to the surface. It's like a body spray turned complex and sophisticated, or, at the risk of sounding cliche, something evocative of a good girl gone bad. It's not something I would've ever really imagined myself liking, but I just keep coming back to it. I do have a soft spot for cherry notes, though usually not such sugary and young feeling cherry notes. Something about her just hooks me. I wouldn't mind a full bottle of this one- and the bottle is stunning too.

I will be a defender of this perfume for as long as I am alive. It is everything a cherry scent should be for me, crazy sweet, gourmand and intoxicating. This is just pure cherry sweetness and it's everything. It does something that not a lot of cherry scents can pull off, not smelling like cough syrup. It has an innocent vibe to it, like dollar store lipgloss and cherry suckers, but also can be sexy if layered with a more woody/vanilla body spray or lotion. This perfume is for the girls, I only get compliments from women when I wear this, so depending on you this may be a good or bad thing. This perfume is for a Galentine's day picnic with your girls with wine, cheese boards, and fresh fruit.

this is the only perfume i’ve ever bought as a blind buy, and needless to say i have never been more satisfied. the first noticeable note is maraschino cherries, sort of like a sherley temple, or like a cherry flavored candy, or those heart shaped lollipops. the second most noticeable smell is a sweet sugary musk. it dries down to a warm vanilla with a hint of milk chocolate. i am aware that some people dislike sweet scents, and this particular perfume is very sweet, almost like candy, but if that’s what you’re into this is the perfect perfume. it reminds me of a lana del rey song in a perfume, cherry cola and warm vanilla. my fav perfume ever, will def be getting it again.

Wow this is not at all what I was expecting... I thought this is... you know sweet, but it's not! Well it is, but is a mature sweetness. Not a sticky girly sweet. When I first opened it and sniffed the cap, I actually smelled the original Lollita, which I did not expect at all. Then when I sprayed it I could smell the cherry, but it's not a sweet cherry, it's very sour and it smells so real I could almost taste them in my mouth. Wow... it also smells a bit medicinal but not in a bad way. And there actually is a very clear resemblance to the original, which makes me really happy. I'm very impressed by this scent and I'm happy I could find this old design so cheap.

This was my first cherry perfume back when I started collecting perfumes, I’m currently on my 3rd bottle. My classmates in college loved it, the girls always complimented me saying I smell like candies. I wore it on my first date with my man, he told me I smell amazing after he kissed me in front of my block on a cold but cherry-sweet February day. So many fond memories tied to this lively, youthful and undoubtedly feminine perfume ❣️♥️ P.S. : You can actually smell every single note in this perfume, they blend beautifully together but if you pay attention as you wear it you can recognise the notes individually, it’s so well done!

Received this in the mail yesterday; got it on Mercari for $20. The first spray is straight cherry candy that smells so pleasant. The dry down is a woody chocolate with a dark cherry smell. Honestly I love it; it's the perfect scent for fall/cooler months. I wouldn't wear this in the heat as it might come off sickenly sweet. Overall I'm super happy with this scent. Edit** Does anyone know the difference in the bottle with the gold lips (not sweet kiss!) and the one that just says sweet in a different font? Reformulated/Newer bottle? I just realized I like the bottle that's in this picture more.

It smells wonderful. Smells like cherry-flavored gummi bears. Or a cherry-flavored push-pop. Truly a delicious, sweet, and pleasant scent. But unfortunately, it disappears almost immediately. I've tried with Vaseline underneath and have tried with various rich creams. I've tried to reapply several times. I've tried to spray it in my hair, on clothes, and on scarves or under scarves. Nothing can make this scent linger. After an hour, the scent fades away and becomes a very delicate and barely present skin scent... It's so frustrating!
