Ab Spirit Millionaire Oud Gourmand

I didn't think I would like this fragrance, but it was recommended to me as a hidden gem cheapie. This has opened my eyes to the world of sweet ouds. This is absolutely beautiful. The oud in here reminds me of By the Fire Place by MMM, because it's sweet, but it is not as charred. It smells like fresh sweet hay drying in the warm sun, the scent of the woods at summer time nearby, the sweetness of grass and summer mixing together to form a beautiful moment in time. Yeah, it reminds me of a moment, more than a specific item like other fragrances. At 15 bucks for a 3.4 ounce bottle, this is the hidden gem cheapie of my dreams. It lasts, it projects, and I can see it being a signature for someone. It's not too heavy for summer nor too weak for winter.

Aromatic and sweet. This scent is light and airy, NOT deep and rich. The tobacco here is dry, sweet, lightly spicy. Spices are smooth, soft with nutmeg most prominent. Leather here is soft suede. Sweet grapefruit citrus note is gentle, not sharp. A touch of lavender mixes smoothly with sandalwood. The oud woods provide an uplifting air, not heavy or strong. There is nothing dark or dense or masculine about this perfume. Unisex ? Possibly if a man loves to wear a sweet tobacco fragrance. Overall, I'd say this is a fresh sweet feminine scent. Projection is moderate, lasting power about 6 hours, then wearing very close to skin for another 4 hours. Wearable all year around. Non offensive, pleasant scent.

With shipping, I spent about $20usd for a 3.4oz bottle of Oud Gourmand. An incredible price for a perfume that I find pretty wonderful. Is it groundbreaking? No. But it's complex, pretty and lasts longer than a lot of my collection. Joliecat's review below is spot on for me as well. Oud Gourmand somewhat reminds me of Mugler's Pure Tonka, so check this out if you're missing PT.

A lovely scent, which reminds me of Black Sugar, replacing Black Sugar's berries and incense with a sweet lemon and tobacco. The oud is nicely tamed, but still clearly present. I would swear I smell vanilla in it, but perhaps something else is tricking my nose. herreroph: I can imagine men wearing this, though it's a bit sweeter than I normally associate with men's fragrances.

OMG! This is gorgeous. A beautiful smoky, spicy blend with an ethnic vibe. It blends beautifully with the citrus note. At an affordable price, you can't go wrong with this one.

This is such a great buy. It's the definition of 'bang for your buck'. I am surprised by the votes of this as feminine as it is decidedly unisex to me. It has a heavy aniseed/olibanum to my nose that reminds me of Sarah Jessica Parker's Stash but It also has a strong sandalwood base that gives it TF Black Orchid vibes. I tested this on my arm and it is very strong. It's very spicy and woody and would be perfect for autumn or winter. I'd recommend 1 or 2 sprays at most, because this stuff is potent.

Forget the top note,this perfume is harsh and you smell the oud and woods as the top notes. It is unisex leaning male. It is long lasting anyway. Not blind buy safe.

I thought this would be stronger or at least sweeter, but it's fine the way it is, possibly a clone of a niche scent. Think of a pastel watercolor version of the listed notes. I guess that's why it was marketed to women but it's not especially "feminine," and screams out "unisex" to me. it's also natural smelling and the strength is in the moderate to good range, with one full spray to the chest. At the price I paid, I'm glad I made the purchase. UPDATE: The longevity is excellent.

Is it only for women ? whith all these notes, Why? For me, sound more in the masculine side
