The opening hits you instantly with this rich Dark Chocolate and boozy Cognac, along with a smoky wood note. One of the best Dark Chocolate notes I've smelt. It reminds me slightly of Kilian Black Phantom but without that synthetic "peanut" vibe some people get. It’s deeper and boozier. Kind of like a soft-gourmand if you're not too into gourmand fragrances. Pros: The dark chocolate and cognac opening is absolutely hyper-realistic. They did an incredible job blending the "Smoked Oak" note; it keeps it from becoming cloying. Amazing longevity, I could smell one spray for 6 hours on my wrist. Cons: Probably not so safe for the office, keep for special occasions. The ginger and freshness in the top is fleeting; I wish it stayed longer. Often out of stock, grab it if you get the chance.
