Lovely and a little twisted

Nowadays I don't have any intention to hunt new brands or any new perfumes. Got it while I was travel in the states, I like this brand more than I expect in 2026. From the scent, bottle to the box everything is well thought. At this price point, you get a very adorable bottle; most important you get unique scent unlike others which smell alike vanilla or ambroxan-s scent. The smell is unrelestic creamy. It almost like I get every aspect in one perfume: floral, nutty, amberwood, earthy. I almost cannot pinpoint any notes. Imagine hosting a party, and wearing your favorite silk dress. You spent all day setting floral arrangements and can still smell it on your hands. You have sweets and confections on tiered towers, allowing sugary goodness to waft through the air. When your guests arrive, you’re approachable, confident and telling the most interesting story in the room. The initial blast of green disappears into something beautiful very quickly. If someone walked past me wearing this, I would stop to ask what it is, I’m very happy to add it to my collection!

I usually gravitate toward amber-woody vanillas that lean more cold-weather, but I wanted to add variety to my collection. I found this by accident, sprayed it on my sleeve about four hours ago, and it’s still going strong. I keep catching whiffs and can’t stop smelling it. This is completely different from anything I own, but I love it. It’s amber, but in a light, airy way. Not floral, heavy, gourmand or fruity. On my skin it comes across as a warm, soft amber skin scent that would work in warmer weather.

This is literally my dream perfume. As soon as i got the first whiff, I knew it was love. It’s more green and rose at first but then the dry down is a sweet creamy rose macaron. Someone else mentioned it’s perfume made for a fairy princess and I agree! It’s magical how well-blended it is and the price is SO GOOD for how long it lasts and how beautiful the bottle and packaging are. I would gatekeep this one for myself but I need Lore to keep making this one forever and ever

I don't usually enjoy rose, or patchouli, or amber, and especially not oud... But I love this. So glad I got the discovery set, as I never would've tried this otherwise. It's a very soft, creamy, powdery rose gourmand that wears close to the skin. Not overly sweet, and the darker notes (patchouli, amber) are present *just* enough to keep it from veering too saccharine without weighing down the scent profile.

accurate name for this perfume. it's so lovely. i can't stop smelling my wrist. if you're like me and do not like rose-scented perfumes, give this one a try. i feel like a medieval princess wearing this. it's feminine and soft but the oud and patchouli make it more interesting and unique. i need a full size immediately.

Tested this one out at Sephora today and it's a really lovely fragrance. Upon first sniff, I was pleasantly surprised like some of the other reviewers have mentioned...It's deep but also very balanced. Not super expensive so I think it's worth snagging especially with the VIB sale coming up.

This is such a beautiful milk rose. I'm not into rose fragrances, but this one is sweet, airy, and well-balanced with some added complexity from the patchouli. It's very soft but has decent longevity on clothes/skin. It makes me feel like a fairy princess taking a milk bath.

This is so different! The rose milk note is so creamy and then you get some of a nutty savory smell from the pistachio. I literally feel like I smell all the listed notes and they all just blend and work together so well.

For anyone who’s ever wanted to smell like a shield maiden of Rohan; feminine and badass. Has a similar dna to Akro Crush but this is much more interesting and complex. A sweet, salty, resinous rose.

Sweet, floral, nut milk! Girly and pink and green like going to get coffee with your friends in the early afternoon in the spring.

Not having seen the notes beforehand, I would classify this scent as a very pleasant soft feminine floral with a bit of sweet muskiness and a slight artificial nuttiness developing in the drydown on the skin. The florals are nondescript white and yellow flowers. I don't get rose from this perfume, nor pistachio. Just a slight plasticky nutmeg, which I'm assuming is the oud. I'm not a fan of this note but it's very subtle. The perfume is light and airy. I feel this would be a great everyday perfume. I wouldn't say it's unique, but it does have an elusive charm about it. I can picture Keira Knightley as Elizabeth Bennet in Pride and Prejudice wearing this. It's a warm floral that reminds me of sunshine in the countryside. Tested at Sephora. Smell: 8 out of 10 Strength: 7 out of 10 Feminine

I got a tester vial of this stuff and i blew through it within 3 weeks or so. I love it but I don't, i'm a certified rose hater but i actually didn't hate this one at all. The rose note is slightly cloying to me but that's to be expected, I was actually able to get past it and not hate it?? It really depends on the day, some days this scent is a little cloying but some days it's addictive. The patchouli and resin add so much depth it's unlike anything I've tried so far (im a perfume newbie). I love how airy it is, I can get past the rose because it's very much toned down by the milk/macaron note and it actually smells pleasant! I'm considering getting a travel size since I don't think i can commit to a full bottle, my feelings about this perfume are complex but I do like it.

This was surprisingly deep! I was expecting it to be much more watery, but this smells really nice. It's a bit green, and also obviously floral, but it's very creamy too. It was also sweeter on paper than on skin, and the milky aspect lasts longer on paper. I think a lot of people can like this fragrance--it's creamy, a little green, pleasantly floral, a little nutty/woody--but it has the potential to come off more "mature". If you prefer fresh, lighter fragrances, definitely smell/try this first. But overall very happy with this release! It's unique in a sea of very similar recent releases.

Something intriguing about this. A little addictive (which for me usually means patchouli). I get the rose milk (faintly), along with some nuttiness. I’m also getting a pronounced citrus or Bergamont note in the beginning, which isn’t listed. The patchouli is modest, so it’s not overpowering—but if you have patchouli haters in your life, I would still avoid this around them. The dry down is mostly a soft vanilla. Even though this isn’t my usual type of fragrance, I find myself reaching for it a lot lately.

If you have the fragrance Tawahuj already, you don’t need to buy Lovely and a little twisted. I just loved smelling it in the store because of how familiar it smelled, so I ended up buying it with Sublimity. When I got home, I was about to place it with my gourmandish/ warm fragrances and then I saw the very fragrance, Tawahuj, that made Lovely and a little twisted feel familiar lol. Unfortunately, she will be going back to the store.

This is a soft rose milk. I don’t think it’s woody at all! I don’t get any of those supporting notes like Oud or Amber that are listed here! It’s a milk rose. It reminds me of she was here but a lot softer and less of the pistachio. Also a mix with badee al oud the pink one! I’m not going to lie I bought it for the bottle. It’s so heavy and beautiful! It gets soft after an hour or so and closer to the skin!

It IS lovely, but it practically disappears on me after 30 minutes or so unless I use a lot, which then it becomes too powdery for me. UPDATE: After wearing it for a week, and spraying more on my clothes than my skin, I've warmed up to it. It stays on my clothes all day without being overwhelming, and while it's still a little too powdery for me, my bf seems to love it, so I'll wear it for date nights.

This is a gourmand that is dipping into “fresh” territory. It’s very bright and interesting, while also being mass appealing and a compliment getter. It starts off with sweet notes that resemble macarons and rose milk. I don’t get too much of the oud in the dry down, I think I just smell the patchouli. I like this perfume a lot but I regret buying it because it’s a little too sweet for me.

LORE should look into making bukhoor. This is a bukhoor scent. So creamy. Patchouli has a faint presence in this for me. Very familiar. Smelling this makes me think of misbaha prayer beads, powder, and elderly Eritrean women. Comforting and judgmental. Wearing this feels like seeking affirmation then feeling a slight sense of self-disgust when receiving it.

Sprayed this on my arm in store. It’s very well blended. I mostly get a rose milk and a green ambery touch. Like a touch of a fresh cut rose stem. It’s a comforting and soft smell that gets slightly powdery/soap-like in the dry down. Very pretty. This is a light fragrance that’s close to the skin.

When I first tried it I wasn't a fan and planned on taking it back. I missed the return window so I tried it a few more times to see if I'd like it. As the weather gets colder the fragrance gets nicer and nicer. I usually hate amber but this is a rare amber-heavy fragrance that I really enjoy

Lovely and a little twisted is a beautiful woody gourmand that reminds me of Turkish rosewater pistachio cookies a friend used to share with me. This compelling fragrance brings back good memories with warmth, but isn't over the top foodie. It strikes a really nice balance.

sprayed it and sweat in it - it's been 11 hours and I can still def smell it When I first tried it I didn't like it that much (I got a sample tube), but after the initial spray, I think it goes from a young girl's scent to a more complex one.

Looking at the notes, I was not expecting to like this fragrance at all! On skin, however, it is a perfectly sweet, creamy rose and pistachio supported by a deep, woody base. It lasts forever on my skin too!

The only decent fragrance from this brand so far. Super safe and simple. Sweet musky and quiet. Gave sample to my sister and she loved it, I imagine it would be versatile and signature worthy too.

Much more ambery on skin than I expected, sweet but balanced. Really nice! I’m pretty sensitive to some ambers though and this definitely makes me sneeze, so it’s a no for me.

I find it quite enjoyable as a gourmand lover who occasionally wants to wear something woody and ambery but still needs a little sweetness

I had high hopes for this perfume - all the scents I adore. Oud, rose, patchouli. This was a blind buy for me at an affordable price point. I was very underwhelmed. The scent reminds me of a cheap, plastic baby doll. The scent smells cheap, powdery baby doll, there is nothing remarkable or memorable about this. Easily forgettable. I think this is a good starter fragrance for a child.

On paper, so lovely! Sweet but not overly so. On the skin, however... I think the rose milk has caused a weird, curdled/rotten milk scent, but it still has that sweetness. A little distressing of a change from what was on the paper, but as I smell it now, approximately 3 hours later, it's mostly just a light pistachio scent. Need to try again in cooler weather.

i smelled somewhere but nowhere (yum) and then bought the travel of this on accident LOL very much not in the profile of fragrances i like, kind of a sickly sweet oudy rose but weirdly it’s growing on me (still feeling major regret over not getting sbn tho)

Creamy nutty macaron, but something about this is very herbal as well which throws me off a bit. It smells fine but just not for me. Very similar to FORVR MOOD She Was Here which I prefer the sweetness of.

Before names were assigned to these (publicly), my notes on this one said "fairy princess vibe". This scent reminds me for dress-up and teat time. Completed nostalgic. Quite lovely.

I really wanted to like this. Like the commenter below said, it's a unique scent. But I was bummed out by the dry-down. Way too sweet/cloying on my skin.

It smells like the Hairitage shampoo and conditioner

On my skin the oud is really projecting, though it's a fairly clean oud/not too animalic. The rose is relatively tart with zero lactonic quality (the tartness could be from the oud as well). I didn't get any pistachio either. All in all came across as more sour than I would like, not milky at all. This was a scrubber.

not a safe blind buy! if you can test it on skin in store do that, i did, thought i would love it but it pulled very masculine and patchouli/oud heavy on my skin... didn’t get any of the creamy rose milk notes :( also it is STRONG, i sprayed a couple sprays on my wrist and it’s still there after a shower 0_o

Bought this because it smelled really lovely on the paper tester. Wearing it now and the opening has something sharp and astringent, and now smells like spoiled milk :(

this was so so interesting on the strip but unfortunately a scrubber on my skin :( i am OBSESSED with the top notes, i wish this could’ve worked for me!

Starts out very rose milk, dries down very potpourri from the faux flower section at Michael's. Feels like you just stepped into your aunt's bathroom at a family function to get away from conversations you don't want to be in. Incentivized reviews can't save these.

Very confused by the marketing on this. Got the discovery set expecting this to be my favorite and it’s actually my least!! Vanilla cake and macarons in the marketing images made me 🤨 because I knew from the notes breakdown it was a floral. There is nothing gourmand or remotely sweet about this to me, which is fine, but then let’s adjust our images! I like it a fair amount on paper, where I can get the top notes nicely and the barest hint of Oud, but overall I keep waiting for the “twisted” to reveal itself and I’m coming up empty. On skin, after the rose & pistachio dissipate almost instantly, I’m left with SOAP. Like squeaky-clean, sudsy bubble bath soapy soap, lol. I feel a little like I’m taking crazy pills scrolling the reviews here and seeing only one other person mentioning a soapy dry down 😅 Skin chemistry is wild!! A miss for me but from the paper strip I can see that there’s a market for this. Really wanted to like this, but I am much more a Disfruta girl at heart.

I have mixed feelings about this one. To start, it's a very nostalgic scent to me. Initial spray has a synthetic quality to it that kind of reminds me of scratch and sniff from when I was a kid. I think this smells exactly like macarons, with the pistachio floral cream combo. The nostalgic component of this fragrance makes it enjoyable for me. Otherwise, I'd say compared to other fragrances on the market, this is nothing special. It feels like another pistachio milk launch, which we've gotten a million of. This is not something you need to buy unless you're crazy about these notes, but even then, I think there are more appealing options out there that don't have the synthetic quality I get from this.

really enchanting... the juxtapositon of the soft sweet and delicate rose notes with the deepness and lushness of the amber + oud (smells like sweet wood to me) works weirdly well. there is something modern in this and yet somewhere behind that, definitely a callback to a bygone era of lush and complex perfumery. that said, this can definitely become cloying and almost headache inducing for me :( I think it’s the amber aspects, because it is not at all synthetic-smelling, screechy, or even overly sweet. this is not what I’d wear on a first date, this is the fragrance reserved for an intimate lover that knows you (and can never forget you) by the smell of your (this) perfume.

Beautiful! A new daily wear for me, and is an affordable price in comparison to a lot of my other scents. Per usual, I prefer it much more on skin than on clothing. On skin it turns very creamy, skin-musky, ambery, and cozy. The rose milk is very good, and the nuttiness of the pistachio is a nice backdrop for the other warmer notes. Something about the way it interacts with my laundry detergent on clothing though really makes it smell kind of like...fabuloso? Like it has a cleaning product note. Either way, I just need to learn my lesson and apply only on skin. lol.

This is an odd fragrance for me to like, a lot of the notes are quite different from anything I'd typically go for but I love it. It's winter currently but I can't wait to wear this throughout the spring/summer. It reminds me of Delina but a bit fresher and easier on the nose (and wallet). Best of all, this fragrance tells me a bit of a story, I feel like I'm in Paris and I'm eating a rose flavoured macaron at Laduree, probably because of the rose milk and pistachio notes!

the scent bubble this gives is sooo nice. I was unsure when just sniffing my wrist, but in the air this is so cozy, comforting, comforting, and a little... dark. I totally get why they named it the way they did. this smells like a very pretty girl in a very pretty castle, with just a few very bad thoughts in her head. Kind of reminds me of Margot Robbie's portrayal of Catherine Earnshaw.

Oh my gosh, now that I see there’s Oud in it, so much is clicking. I really felt like I was getting a tart Granny Smith apple completely covered in sugar dropped into a rose lemonade with an addictive musk in the background akin to Citiette or 22 Orris, but now that I see there’s Oud, all the actual notes are making way more sense. I totally love this and want to seek out a travel!

Ok hear me out....i have never in my entire life been attracted to a single pistachio fragrance. Ever. Not one single time. So I don’t know what it is about this one....but I’m INTO IT!!!! It’s airy, delicate, and signature fragrance worthy, but also super alluring. Something about it makes me smile.

Just tested this on my wrist at Sephora. I loved it so much i started openly applauding in the store It opens with what I would imagine the color “dusty rose” would smell like. It rises into a fantastically blooming peach blossom Kind of feels like the cousin of Love Don’t Be Shy by Kilian to me
