Ooh, very nice! I saw this on Ebay-a 5ml sample. I didn't even know L'Oreal did their own fragrances (as in under their own name, not one of their brands) so I bought it on impulse. Its very much of its time-it's a classic mid-80s scent with hints of Opium, Balenciaga's Prelude, Van Cleef and Arpels First, and Chanel No 5. It's a lovely amber scent with a robust heart-its rich and luxurious, but not overpowering with a soft heat from the spices-very smooth and balanced. The dry down is beautifully powdery. It is definitely a 'classic' style fragrance-there's no fruity, floral or gourmand notes to speak of beyond a very evanescent white floral opening that last a couple of minutes only. Longevity is about 5 hours, silage surprisingly soft-its not a room-clearer. I really enjoyed this-great impulse buy!

a floriental that leans more chypre with some aldehydes, vintage amber and spice notes but nothing like Opium or Obsession. Very genteel vintage fragrance that harkens back to the earlier days before the 70s and 80s. A bit soapy and lovely. Woody, definitely sandalwood in here. Think more like Samsara than Opium.

Love so much this fragrance and the TV commercial from l'Oréal , it was so 80 perfume ! very feminine , for me a night perfume.Very famous and popular perfume from l'Oréal in France ( created too " Emotion " perfume under the name l'Oréal in 1984 , with an amazing bottle ! ).
