Thus did the Italian Lorenzo Pazzaglia intend it to be... and so it was, a poetic and symbolic presentation that inspires and connects. This perfume is born as a new page in the eternal tale; the story of the first creation, where Adam and Eve stand beneath the shadow of the tree, searching for the meaning of innocence and desire at once. It opens with a touch of fig, the fruit forever tied to the legend from the very beginning, symbolizing the knowledge and temptation that led to the fall. Blended with bergamot and white peach, as if they were the promised fruits of paradise. Here, the echo of the first leaf that covered the body resounds, but the fragrance unveils rather than conceals, revealing a beauty never written in words. At its heart, fig leaves intertwine with jasmine and soft vanilla, like the threads of the dress Eve once stitched from the shadows of Eden and the light of dusk. A&E’s Dress is an outstanding green and fig scent. Upon first application you are hit with green notes that smell like heavily wooded areas that have dense bushes on the forest floor that produce various berries, such as raspberries and blackberries. There are some slight florals lingering in the background that prevent the green tree notes from being too rough. As the fragrance dries down the fig fruit and sap make itself pleasantly known. Towards the end of A&E a slightly minty note appears, which was a pleasant surprise (I greatly enjoy mint in fragrances). It should be noted that you will need to truly enjoy green based fragrances to appreciate A&E. The projection is certainly above average as it can be detected for a handful of hours. So be careful on how much you spray—especially if you work in an office environment. The longevity is very good as well. I get about ten hours of performance. A&E is similar to Debaser, Wanderlust, and 195 AC. Debaser has a sharper opening without the floral highlights and limited performance—on my skin. Wanderlust is a bit more fruity and playful along with lesser performance compared to A&E. 195 AC is very similar with less dense green notes that are enhanced by soft incense. 195 AC has very good longevity with moderate projection. For the money and performance I recommend A&E for people looking for a green focused fig fragrance that will last through the day.

“Complete portrait of the fig, in every aspect: from the branch, to the leaves, to the zest, to the pulp” The perfume describes itself perfectly. Imagine freshly dewed, vivid green leaves; you crush them wildly in your hands, the sap clings to your skin, and in a moment of reckless impulse, you touch your face. That’s exactly what this smells like. Think of picking figs straight from the tree; that sticky milky sap left on your fingers, that’s the core of it. As far as I know, there’s no true fig-tree extract, only impressions built through accords; and here, that illusion has been mastered beautifully. It doesn’t smell like a ripe fig at all; this is unripe, milky, leafy green; vivid and pure. Never fruity, never sweet. As it dries down, sandalwood gently rises, shifting the scent from lush green to a soft, woody finish. Utterly beautiful! I have to say that it is one of my favorites that I have tried from the brand and that it works best with my skin. We mainly find a very realistic Hugo aroma, from the fruit to the tree, green, slightly acidic and with just the right amount of sweetness. It is an intense aroma that can be felt but without becoming cloying or bothering anyone. Its projection remains strong for approximately an hour and then decreases and becomes more moderate. On my skin it lasts about 7 hours, making it one of the longest-lasting products I have tried so far from Lorenzo. High quality, as in all the others, although perhaps this is one of the least original and unique aromas, since there are many other fig options on the market that are similar. I don't rule it out as a possible future purchase.

After unleashing my negative mood to describe how disappointing a bunch of Pazzaglia fragrances were, this is an exception. This is my gem, this is nothing I smelled before in terms of fig fragrance. I love that it is perfectly balanced, it doesn't fall into the basic sweet coconut fig combo, nor into the green harsh vegetal type. Often fig scent also tend to smell like a "boojee room spray", strong and sharp with no chemistry with the skin... Not here! This one is green, round, and creamy at the same time, a fig tree infused by the sun, never cloying, completely unisex. This is a comfy, extremely enjoyable fragrance that last the entire day.

This has very slowly but surely become my summer favorite. It is as green as it gets, as cold and crisp as it gets and as fresh and refreshing as it gets. It`s amazing stuff for unbearably hot summer days over 30 degrees in Celsius. Mind you, this all is coming from a girl who close to hate cold, green and fresh perfumes but even I have to admit - in summer this is a must have. Word of advice - do NOT sniff it close up right from your skin, it will feel almost bitter. Rather allow summer wind to whiff around you and bring perfectly crisp and fresh whiff of scent to you that will bathe and soothe your soul.

Super green perfume! Here Lorenzo has inserted an entire fig tree, leaves, woods, fruits, everything! The extremely green fragrance, with well-known notes of fig, is woody, slightly scratchy due to its green woodiness, I am not a lover of green and fig scents but fortunately they didn't bother me in this. Everything is well blended with the various chords present, a must have for lovers of the genre.

Adam & Eve’s Dress opens very green and almost minty, strongly reminiscent of Ichnusa by profumum roma, with a slightly masculine, woody edge. As it develops, the scent becomes juicier, less masculine and more rounded. The base is soft, lactonic, and woody with an almost edible quality. I also detect a hint of lemongrass, even though it’s not listed, which makes it even more intriguing.

What I get: bergamot and green fig with an indistinct woody backbone. A green and citrus fragrance. Good lasting powder and silage, not a beast as other Pazzaglia's creations. Revitalizing and great for super high temperatures. Nothing more, nothing less and I love it for what it is. I totally adore this kind of green woody profiles so it's quite easy for me to fall for it.

Sweet fig and watery green notes with a designer take I enjoy this a lot so fresh and juicy with woods I could see this getting a lot of hype the one downside is it not unique enough if you just starting with the brand or in fragrances in general this is for you safe fresh woody green sweet and additive worth a try for sure

Complex, green parsley vibe. Reminds me of a savory pineapple cocktail; smells gourmand. The fig is present all the way through; there is like mint or lemon balm in there. Like a magic door opening for your nostrils. If you like sex-sea but want something different, this is all the way different, but just as good.

i'm surprised by how much i actually like this scent, lorenzo was never a house that took my interest to go out and sample but when the opportunity to try this one out fell into my hands i was positively surprised. smells very fresh, green, figgy and overall joy-enducing and has this zen calmness about it

this is the greenest perfume i've ever smelled, and that's all i can say about it, because it really is just *green*. its projection and longevity are monstrous, so be careful when spraying it. i wish it were more affordable because i only have 5ml of it and i'm saving it as my special treat

Blind bought this & safe too say It wasnt a mistake, this is a very green fragrance so if you are looking for something super fruity this is not it, there is definitely some fruits but nothing heavy there is a note that gives it this cooling aspect that I really enjoy as well.

Very clean minty and green , excelent for summer. REFRESHING. Personally i think that Lorenzo Pazzaglia is overrated but this fragrance is very GOOD.

This definitely goes in its own direction. The initial blast is heavy citrus; to me, it’s lemon but that is not listed as a note. The citrus is immediately met with a grassy green note. The grassy citrus stays for a while and just screams gardens in the spring time. I am guessing the “grassy green” is the different varieties of fig notes listed, but I never truly identified “fig” in the scent. The mentioned tuberose and jasmine are never prominent, but I suppose they are working in the background to keep this fragrance from smelling like cut grass. After a while, the sandalwood enters and provides a welcomed creaminess and soapiness to the profile. As it dries, the soapiness becomes more prominent. A&E’s Dress reminds me of Creed’s Green Irish Tweed but with more projection and movement. Overall, this offers something a little unique, long lasting and unisex. Overall Rating 8.1/10.

Generally, I don’t think Lorenzo Pazzaglia’s style is very congruent with my tastes, but this one really fit a niche in my collection...I was looking for a green/vegetal-like perfume to wear outside when doing yard work / DIY...this one fits the bill...unlike the previous reviewer, I actually really like that the fig fruit is less prominent, as I have other fig fragrances that are more fruity...this one is all fig leaf and fig branch...literally smells like you ripped some fresh branches (young shoots) off a deciduous tree...perfect for getting dirty & sweaty, yet maintaining some sense of freshness...performance is strong; I usually use 1-2 sprays...got a 30 ml for a decent price at discounters...curious to try Profumum Roma Ichnusa, as I think it more aligns with my tastes, but this was a good budget option replacement

Just smelled this side by side with Ichnusa and they are so similar ! On skin, during the opening, I get more fruitiness and sweetness from Lorenzo Pazzaglia’s, which I prefer, but they are strikingly similar. After 5 minutes, as the scent settles down, I get definitely more depth with the Profumum Roma’s one. As per usual, it looks the PR is in 4D, amazing stuff. Am I biased by the pricing difference? Not sure, but if I had to choose I'll probably go for Ichnusa. In any case, I love Lorenzo personality and this scent is good.

It’s not what I expected tbh. It’s like reeeeeeeally and fresh, almost vegetal. I was thinking that it would be more of fig milk type of scent. A bit more laconic. But I like how unique it is: slightly minty and spicy with lots of tartness and subtle powderiness. Definitely something special!

This reminds me of a fig farm I used to spend time at when I was young. The perfume opens with a fresh fig leaves and citrusy notes. After a while, I can detect the figs, with their distinct lactonic notes. This is a realistic portrayal of an entire experience, and I am impressed.

If you've been to any botanical gardens, this smells like the indoor conservatory you'd find there. Very fresh and very green and never really moves away from that. Straight up smells like you're hanging out in a lush garden, the name is appropriate

I feel like im sitting in a garden full of greens and that has been watered it’s an absolute banger lasts all day but the opening can cause headaches if you’re not used to very green perfumes like this one.

It's a fig orchard--emphasis on the leaves and bark. There's also the scent of brush, a smooshed fig or two, and the dust you kick up when you're walking around. The spice notes that came through were neither here nor there, although of particular note was that pepper stood out the most. Ultimately, the mintiness killed the joy of it for me. If you're looking for a unique take on a fig fragrance, this could very well be for you. But definitely try before you buy!

Smells BEAUTIFUL in the bottle and on fabric, but when this hits my skin it's a hot herbal mess. Like dirty, fresh cut grass sprinkled with half the contents of my spice cabinet. I'm so jealous of the people that can wear this properly. Strong opening but not a beast, lasted about 8 hours and leans a little too masculine on me. If you have the right skin chemistry this could 100% be a signature scent.

This frag is like a half way point between Philosykos and Debaser. The opening is a fresh fig scent like you smush your face against the branches of a fig tree. As it dry down, the wood note get way more apparent and that's where it all went down hill for me. I wish I didn't have an aversion to woody scent, else I'd get a bottle immediately.

Natural green, maybe a bit predictable, an ideal unmet by 2 Nota di Viaggio, so there’s mint (though not in the composition), a sparkling green thing. Worth considering mostly in the context of wanting something completely fresh and unassuming, summer-like.

The most green and fig perfume I've ever taste. Opening and middle is just weedy fig and middle is fig and wood and base I don't know I just sprayed it :D But this is kinda not for me fragrence.

Fig leaf and bark, very realistic greenery. Not quite my style but I can see someone who enjoys nature scents liking it. As usual with Pazzaglia, projection and performance are beast.

This smells like crushed fig leaves. Wonderful realistic green nature scent. Makes me long to drink tea in an overgrown garden.

Leafy green with fig frutiness and vanilla/cream. The performance is great. Go for it if you like these kinds of combinations.

The dry down becomes too grassy. This needed more of the fig fruit not just the leaf and tree.

I was introduced to this perfume by a lovely sales associate at a perfume store in Barcelona, who told me that this was her favorite green scent after learning that I was looking for a fragrance of that kind. I remember loving it upon first sniff, but then sinking into the quicksand of testing the many, many, many fragrances lining the shelves that I can almost never find in store. That day, I ended up also finding Ten Fresh Notes by Ramon Monegal, which I truly love and own. A while after returning home from Barcelona, and in the heart of my search for more green scents, I purchased a sample of Adam and Eve to give it the attention it deserved. Adam and Eve opens with a tangy lemon-lime accord. Lemon worries me in fragrances, as it rarely escapes the cleaner association for me. I was immediately struck by how sweet the scent opened, almost like a snow cone syrup, which differed from the fragrance I remembered from the store. Within a few minutes, the fragrance lets go of some of that lemon-lime syrup and starts to develop a backbone of herbal nuances, placing bitter sprinkles atop something sweet. The fig tree note pierces through. As a staunch lover of tuberose, with a voluminous collection of tuberose centered fragrances, I see no tuberose in sight and would never have guessed its presence had I not looked at the notes. The same with jasmine. The bitterness of the fig tree then begins to battle the lemon-lime syrup. The twang of the dual citrus accord stands separate and disconnected from the other notes, evolving in a screechy and unnatural manner. A dusting of spices emerges, but ultimately fades into something reminiscent of a sour lemon-lime product. This perfume is not the type of green fragrance I desire, but I am glad to have revisited it.

Hmm. Seemed promising during the opening with juicy fig and verdant green leaves, as well as some pleasant warm spices... then dried down oddly soapy on my skin. Perplexing.

Very very bitter, this is Adam’s dress way more than Eve’s. Poking my nose, it needs powering throught the pungent opening and I just don’t have that in me.

I purchased a sample of this, thinking I wanted a fresh, green scent. If this is fresh and green, that profile just isn’t for me. First spray to me was sharp and smelled like my hands after pulling weeds. I ended up layering another perfume over it because I just hated it.

AWESOME AWESOME AWESOME.... when it comes to the word "Green"..."Greenery"...Spring/ Summer in a bottle. I got a bunch of 1 ml samples from Pazzaglia's line. So I'm smelling Esco Pazzo, Carbonara, Black Sea...the other " sea" scents etc. I then get this on a scent strip and I nearly lost my mind. This is a True "Green" scent if you're ever looking for that word. 100%. Blew me away. It stands out from all his fragrances. I must say I didn't put two and two together. When I saw the title of this, Adam and Eve's dress, immediately I thought feminine dress. So stupid. I then realized Adam and Eve's dress wear was a fig leaf 🤣😅. So if this is what fig smells like and the green and the bark it's a beautiful scent. To some it's harsh in the opening, but the florals in there help out in the dry down. I'm not a fan of unisex leaning feminine or feminine scent and this one does it perfectly in my opinion it's right in the middle. The Jasmine and tuberose had me thinking this could lean feminine, but it was balanced beautifully. Get your nose on this if you're looking for a green pure green scent for warm weather

I do think that perfumes are created in a similar way as for everything, with a purpose. This frag is for warm to hot weather - I tested it a couple of months ago when it was winter in Europe... did not appeal to me so much. However, today we had +25°C and what a scent we have here. Might feel it starts a bit synthetic with an “in-your-face” green note - like very strong and pungent. Wait for it... don’t judge a book by its cover - it’s simply the green fragrance you need - it has some spicy/woody undertones especially in the drydown and the fig note is there, is there... is there - you gotta love when a green note like that stays from top to base notes and is metamorphosed multiple times smoothly transitioning throughout its life. Hats off Lorenzo and Viva la figa!

I've had *Adam and Eve's Dress* for two years....sitting in the box. During that time I've bought and enjoyed bottles of *Speachless* and *Que Chimba* and *Van Py Rhum*. I LOVE each of them. I've also sampled quite a few more Lorenzo Pazzaglias. *DRESS* is GREEN. It's fresh + clean + wearable. It feels like a perfume Lorenzo Pazzaglia developed early-on in his perfume evolution....which is fine. I don't know when I'll wear it: I feel like my tastes have evolved....plus....it's the Dead of Winter. I'll take it out again in Spring and Summer. I'll layer a few sprays of Tuberose (a not very visible note) and, I bet a schpritz or two of something White Marshmallow would be pretty great, too. I'll see what happens.

Sitting on a branch of a fig tree I take one of its fruits and passionately taste its bloody and juicy pulp. This is the feeling that this fragrance gives me, which takes me back to the happy and carefree times of my childhood. Smelling it isolates me for a moment from real life and takes me back to what was one of the happiest periods of my life, pure, as this perfume is. For me it's highly evocative, I really like it and before now I thought I wasn't a fan of the fig note, but I've definitely changed my mind. Another huge thank you to Lorenzo Pazzaglia's splendid nose.

This is a very unique fragrance. From the bottle it smells like Versace Crystal Noir edp the original formulation. The fig milk has more of a coconut smell until sprayed and it starts dry down. Then a very leafy green fig scent opens up and just lays there for the duration. Starts off sweet, then swiftly dries down into a very grassy leafy green fragrance. I blind bought this based on the notes but I didn't expect it to be so grassy. If this were a bit sweeter and just as green, this would definitely be a Aura by Thierry Mugler (pre-L'Orèal take-over) flanker.

Oh my days, this is IT. I've been on a fig discovery journey of late and stumbled upon a sample of this on sale. What a beauty. Green, green and green, edged out with creaminess and woods. To me, its so green its almost menthol, but without the shiver. I can tell this will radiate under the summer sun, but I am just as excited to get it on my scarf for the winter. An absolute joy of a fragrance.

okay the opening reallyyyyyy threw me off. like other's have said, it was very herbal & very masculine. but after it settled, it really transformed into a soft, sweetish, but not too sweet, fig that was actually so nice! that really surprised me. i actually enjoyed it a lot after that happened.... but now i'm really torn on if i want a full bottle or not lol

Overly simple green fig. Even simpler than Philosykos, which frankly is the limit of how boring and clinical you can make green fig. It’s this, then philosykos, then debaser. At least Debaser has that addictive cold candyish note which makes it more like a fake/hyperreal fig to keep it interesting. I don’t think it’s worth the price.

I LOVE this. There is nothing like it. It’s green fig- mixed with an herbal note?? A bit of warmth. I’m not sure but it’s so unique and special. I want a full bottle and I’ll spread it from the roof top. It’s incredible.

I agree smells like a whole chopped up fig tree this is very realistic! Bright green and cheery. Reminds me a little of Diptyque Philosokos (sp?) This is really cool and has totally captured a fig tree for me.

Too bitter for me but I appreciate there’s no coconut in this one like it seems there is in every fig fragrance
