Artik Sea

This fragrance emerges as a blank page painted with snow, capturing the essence of the Arctic Ocean in a small bottle. Its performance is finely tuned: longevity is rated as good to strong (4/5), and projection is moderate (3/5). It never overwhelms a room, yet it leaves a gentle trace suspended in the air. Some find it brighter and more wearable than the formidable Megamare by Orto Parisi, while others describe it as metallic and antiseptic, a nuance that requires a specific taste. This fragrance is suited for moderate seasons, such as spring and summer, with perhaps a subtle presence in autumn. Speaking as an Iraqi in Baghdad, when the heat climbs above forty degrees, two sprays are enough. Or better yet, reserve it for evenings by the Tigris, where the breeze cools and the heat of the day subsides. In comparison to Megamare, the difference is clear: Megamare is characterized by noise and metallic drama, while here we find clarity and wearable brightness. Artik Sea is not a repetition; it is a personal poem — salty in realism, poetic in effect. I have been only testing a small amount on my wrist, and it seems a bit on the weaker side. Although a significant application might change my mind. Is it worth it? Well, maybe, I like the blue note. It is VERY similar to the blue note in Halloween Man Hero. That blue scent may seem cheap to some people, but I like it anyway. I get some ozonic and synthetic minerality, but everything else is blended so that I can’t really distinguish the notes. This is currently $175 for 50ML on Lucky Scent. While, Halloween Man Hero is $30 for 120ML on Jomashop. If you like a heavy dose of warm synthetic amber then Halloween Man is it. If you would rather have a bit of ozonic/minerality (and if the price is not an issue) then Artik Sea would be a nice option. Edit: close to two years later, and it's funny how tastes change. Artik Sea fragrance is now one of my favorite scents, and I have given away my Halloween man hero. This is incredibly strong, and I do appreciate that it does not have the ambroxan of Halloween man hero. While there is kind of a similarity, they actually smell mostly different at this point in my fragrance journey.

Artik Sea is a fragrance that made me travel, projecting me into a picture that in my opinion totally reflects the vision I have about this perfume: "The Wanderer on the Sea of Fog" by Friedrich. Surrounded by intense green notes, which then become citrusy, I imagine myself walking through a field, alone and fast, because of my impatience to reach the majesty of the sea, which I will meet after crossing a bouquet of white flowers that makes even more pleasant and sweet the moment of expectation. I always follow my destination with the marine vibes (thanks to algae and Ambergris)in the cold air. Finally ,I start to admire my beloved sea, cold, glacial, balsamic that purifies me and gives me peace. All the misty depths of my soul are thus ti the light. An elegant, long lasting, glacial fragrance but which in my opinion is perfect for warm summer evenings, contrasting real and indefinite elements.

It is a perfume that, as soon as it is sprayed, gives the impression of being in an arctic sea, cold and frozen, in which there is a sheet of ice where underneath nature is trying to break this sheet and get out. And it opens with notes of citrus,Especially the yuzu,seaweed absolute and absinthe which together form a green smell similar to licorice. Flowery complicated flowery/fruity/green fragrance that's not your typical blue frag. I would even say it's not an easy fragrance. Leafy green and fig notes are what should keep an ordinary designer scen enjoyer away from Artik Sea. Also it smells way different off of clothes (fresher, more minty) than skin. I have to say that with every sniff I get closer and closer to the shores of Adriatic Sea full of plants that blossom due to high humidity. Top longevity and sillage like all LP products.

This had me fooled. On first spray - for 5 seconds - it smells identical to maiora balos. But - it’s literally for 5 seconds. Where balos goes bright/grape - this goes minty/cold. It’s a really unique scent - and I’m so pleased with the depth. It has a natural tinge to it, without feeling like you’re shopping for fragrance at Whole Foods. Hey, I love it.

Its all i ever would want from a summer fregrence, citrusy, ozonic, watery, floral and mature, i would love to find a bottle at a good price, now i have 20 ml tester that my friend sold me for 30$. It lasts super long for a summer fregrence 6-8 hours and projection is great 9/10 Its jus too expensive

Diving into the Italian niche house of Lorenzo Pazzaglia, known for their extrait de parfum concentration fragrances, you quickly get a sense of what they are about. Strong performance, sleek bottles with the signature owl, and scents that make an impression without holding back. These are the kind of fragrances that announce your presence before you even walk in and linger long after you are gone. They are made for people who are comfortable standing out and expressing themselves, where elegance comes from confidence and being unapologetically real. Today we start with Artik Sea, inspired by the icy waters of the Arctic. It brings to mind a cold unforgiving coastline, with sharp winds moving across open water and untouched nature all around. Let’s see if we freeze or thrive in the cold. When I first sprayed this on there was a lot going on. You get the citrus from bergamot and yuzu, but there is also a camphor like edge from the wormwood along with salty sea notes sitting in the background. You can tell myrtle is in here too, bringing that crisp green slightly sweet eucalyptus like tone that you might recognize if you have tried Black Sea. Give it about twenty to thirty minutes and it becomes much more enjoyable, or at least on my skin. It is not as overwhelming as the citrus starts to fade and the myrtle along with some mild fruity sweetness from the fig and davana begin to come through. It smooths out nicely but it still keeps that salty character. After a couple of hours it is still pushing strong, but now it settles into a more familiar marine style. You get that salty ambergris, seaweed, and musky feel that fans of fragrances like Black Sea and Megamare will recognize. There is also a slightly vegetal musky quality from the ambrette sitting in the background. I do like Artik Sea a good bit. I would probably choose Black Sea over it since that one is more direct and less citrus heavy, going straight into that musky marine seaweed ambergris profile. I also have to admit the first twenty to thirty minutes here can feel like a bit too much. Not a bad smell, just a somewhat unusual mix before it settles into something more familiar. Still, this is a nice twist on that marine style that I do enjoy, just maybe more so on occasion rather than something I would reach for all the time.

Frozen feel-good. Man, this is such a surprise! Gotta say I underestimated the "artik" side of this at first. Complex aquatic, icy, gelid fragrance indeed. Such an easy wear. In reality, everything about this fragrance would justify it for a safe blind buy - it can be on the pricier side if you're getting into niche and even the house of LP. However, for me it is something that may have traumatized me from Wall Street - Bond No.9 - the seaweed and citrus combo... gosh, unfortunately gets very tiring as in, I get exhausted of wearing the fragrance. On top of the latter, the seaweed-gelid smell brings me a feeling of wearing deodorant, just deodorant. Now, performance on this is absurd and when I say smells like deodorant it is not due to the synthetics in it, but rather the sensation of spraying aerosol Blue Rexona V8 lol Top notch fragrance. Just didn't work for me.

This fragrance is hard to review... I like it for some reason and hate it for others... I like the aquatic refreshing take on The Marines note, very acquatic, very salty. Very salty, defenetely not a sweet fregrance. At the start opens very bright and still very salty, however it gets dark very quickly the seaweed note overwhelms the whole structure mixed by thick salt. Fotorealistic smell, like sniffing in the middle of a calm sea. If you like megamare this is a brighter version however i do not think you need both, if you already have one... do not take this as a simple fragrance this stuff is a bit challenging for a new nose... don’t get it thinking it would be something like french riviera, totally different ! I honestly feel like the seaweed is a bit too much, a bit less and it would be much better. Moderate projection, 8hrs longevity 7.7/10

Very good Sea collection made Pazzaglia. Recommend to test all his Sea fragrances. But recommend to test it on skin. There is not so much aquatic notes, as you can think. It's not like Megamare, but in such direction. I think it's underrated fragrances of this designer. Black sea - the most iconic in his collection and first fragrance you need to taste. It's the central star of Sea line. Arctic sea it's more cold variation. Dream sea it's more sweet variation. White floral, rose, peppery vanilla scent. Sex sea it's a more sharp, peppery, mossy variation Van Sea it's a combination black+arctic sea+ vanilla. More green, sweet vanilla variation. Recommend to buy all Sea samples to test. It's, i think, great perfumes. Underrated. It's impossible to choose one of them. Every variation it's unique, independent. Recommend to test.

This is nearly identical to Every Storm a Serenade by Imaginary Authors. Aside from the very opening, they're extremely hard to tell apart. For the price point, IA is is the better bang for your buck. The note breakdown listed is pretty silly. I feel like it's actually a joke. It's a calone/ambergris overload, salty and marine heavy. Literally three discernable notes. That being said, they're 3 notes I love, so I'm a fan.

this is the most mass appealing, tame , wearable marine scent i smelt . doesnt have an harsh bitter chemical opening like megamare and TF oud minerale, instead it has a icy mint opening with salty mineral elements that is more similar to acqua di gio profondo. the only downside is the perfomance, making a diluted megamare makes the proyection and longevity weak.

I love fragrances like this. Where the line of mass appealing and niche artistry intersect. On the outside, you can view this as a blue DNA, but it is quite detailed and delicate. This reminds me of a breath of fresh air, on the coast of a cold beach. It’s quite beautiful and artistic.

Long lasting. Brighter than Megamare. But not nearly as special. Ocean vibes. If you didn't want an explosive presence like Megamare, this would be an alternative. Good in any collection. However, I would get Megamare first. Looking forward to Black Sea in the future. Happy hunting.

Another marine offering, which happens to be my favorite genre. It opens very salty making it difficult to get anything else for the first hour. Give it a chance because it does settle down. I don’t get the mint/menthol that other reviewers mention. It’s just salt met with a hint of citrus. I would prefer a bit more citrus or white flowers on the front end to break up the saltiness. After a while, the salt turns more to seaweed and some ambergris. This is done very much in the style of Megamare, it’s a powerful marine scent - you better love that style or you will be tempted to wash it off. I have Megamare, Acqua di Sale, Black Sea, Explosea, and Sex Sea, and while this fits right in with those other offerings, I would probably place it last. As a marine scent fan, I would place the first four named as masterpieces and Artik Sea just comes up short. I was hoping the “Artik” would offer a unique “coldness” to the marine genre, maybe something that felt like icebergs, or the artic sea, but it doesn’t get there for me. It’s not a bad fragrance, it’s just not as good as its contemporaries. Overall Rating 6/10.

fresh ocean breeze! I smell the salt and the kelp. I hear the crying of the sea birds. I hear the crash of icebergs calving into the surf. Narwhals follow my boat. The wind never stops and turns my skin to ice. I become a creature of the dark north where the sun sits on the horizon at the lightest point of day, obscured by the the spray of the chop. If ever there was a scent that celebrates the ice and the cold it is this. When it dried, this perfume yields the most elusive of all cold air scents, the frozen carmel that hovers near an icy, salty death. I applied Artik Sea on one wrist and Black Sea on the other. I have seas of ice and fire on my wrists, death in my left hand and life in my right.

A nuclear bomb of an aquatic scent, this is the type of scent to probably get the fish out of the waters to swim towards you. The scent opens with a massive overdose of ozonic and citrusy notes. There is a brief floral middle which is mostly eclipsed by myrtle and sea salt. The scent settles on a synthetic musk base with notes of moss, seaweed, slight ambergris and patchouli. The slight masculine leaning fragrance has very strong sillage and longevity on account of the generous use of calone like molecules. A bit too synthetic for my tastes but many folks who like scents with huge sillage and massive ozonic aquatic notes are going to enjoy this a lot!
